Epilogue

“So I was out for eight days?” I said as I sat in a wheel chair that the clinic gave me, since it was a rule that every patient needed to leave the clinic in a wheelchair.

“Eeyup.” said Net as she pushed me with her magic “The blade miss your spine by a few inches and thanks to Miss Sparkle, she was able to heal you up faster.”

I rubbed my chest and watch as Star and Hope, who was walking in front of me, was trying to talk. Star just played with her scarf while talking, while Hope just simply nodded or say yes. Couldn’t hear what Star was asking her, since she was talking a mile a minute.

“Do you still want her to read the word doc you left behind?” ask Net.

I quickly remembered about them and said “Yes. She has a right know. Not now of course but when she’s older.”

“Fine, I’ll save the doc but you got to teach her about the “flowers and the bees”, mister!” laugh Net.

I kind of stink back into the chair and sighed. I wasn’t looking forward to that…

I didn’t notice as Net came over to me and whispered to my ear as she said “You can tell her how daddy made love to mommy for the very first time and how daddy came right away…”

“BUCK NO!” I quickly yelled as I blush so hard “AND I DIDN’T COME RIGHT AWAY!”

“Come? What daddy?” ask Star as she started to play with her scarf “Why are your wings up?”

“…”

Net and Hope looked on and laugh, while I tried to think of a lie for what I yelled out.

“Damn you Net!” I screamed in my mind as Star kept asking questions…

Thankfully, Star was able to off the topic as we got outside. It was snowing and she started to jump around the place. After winter, she’ll be old enough to join in the winter wrap up event. This also marks the first ever winter wrap up with Star AND Hope. Now that’s what I’m looking forward too.
