“The real IRS has actually ceased all terror activities?” Illusion asked his sweetheart.
“Yes. But I think that they’re just afraid of being attacked by the Gundam Meisters.” Claire said. “But that’s not the only reason I can here to tell you. I’m worried that you might get hurt.”
“Relax, Crys. I’ll be carful. I need to go to Saddle Arabia anyway. My mom wants aid in case a civil war breaks out in Equestria.” Illusion said this as he packs some essentials in his bag. “I’ll probably be gone for a few day, and that’s if the talks go well. Sorry this was so sudden, but my mom and dad suddenly got called away to Maretonia, so I have to go to Saddle Arabia to-”
She places a claw on Illusions lips before he could continue. “I understand, Lulu. I know how serious you take your royal duties. Just be carful.” She finished as she removes her claw.
“Okay.” The two then share a kiss… followed by a lick on Claire’s face from Illusion.

“Good to see you again, Celestia,” the duchess of Maretonia said as she and the duke greet them.
“Its good to see you as well,” said Celestia. “Now, about that mobile suit test that Gorn Industries is performing tomorrow.”
“We’ve already secured a private blimp for us to use.” Said the duke. “We just have to wait a couple of days for the pre-tests to be completed.”

Warrior No-Ble is doing the last diagnostic checks for the Fenice suit. “Power unit, no problems. Automatic balancer is stable. Quanta Operating System is active. I’m all set.”
“We’re opening the hatch,” Lo-Vee said over the comlink. Sure enough the sound of rushing air escaping the carrier is heard as the cargo bay doors open. “The mock battle drones have left the carrier.”
“It's time to see just how powerful the Fenice suit is.” At-Lass added.
“Roger that.”
“Good luck.” Lo-Vee said as No-Ble leaves the ship. He immediately switches the Fenice to its mobile armor mode. The neck elongates as the wings unfold and expand to be around 25 meters in length.
“The mobility of this heavy suit depends on the shoulder-mounted movable stabilizer wings. It’s gonna be difficult.” He thought out loud. Activating the thrusters, No-Ble almost immediately feels the strain as he heads to the test sight. “This is gonna take a lot of effort!” He managed to say as the drones begin firing paint balls at the Fenice.
Aiming one of the ‘hands’ at a drone. No-Ble fires the Beam Vulcan in the right hand at the drone, decimating it with multiple beam blasts. Another drone sneaks up on him but No-Ble flies up at a speed faster than the drones. “This speed it deadly!” He changes the suit back to its mobile suit mode and activates the beam saber, one appearing out of the right wrist of the Fenice. He charges at the drone and slices it in half. He looks over to where the remaining drones are, but he hesitates.
“I can finish the drones off by increasing the output. Then why? Why am I hesitating?” Deciding the take that chance, No-Ble charges to the remaining drones and easily destroys them. Suddenly he begins coughing up blood. Everything then begins to go black.

“Tomorrow Gorn Industries plans to perform an experimental mobile suit tests in Maretonia. One of us will be there to observe the tests, and depending on the situation we’ll have to destroy the suits.” Lance said.
“Who’s going?” Hilary asked.
“I think I should,” said Amani. “If something happens then the Sand Dune can escape easily.”
“All right, but be carful out there.” Said Lance. “Those suits are supposed to be used against us. The pre-tests for that suit have already finished and the real tests begins in two days.”
“I’ll be okay,” said Amani.
“I know you’ll be, but to be on the safe side…” Lance then turns his attention to; “Amanda, you’ll provide backup for Amani.”

Warrior No-Ble could only see darkness with small sounds. Soon everything begins to clear. As his vision slowly returns, he sees that the sounds are from a heart monitor and an oxygen mask. Removing the mask, he feels great pain in his chest. “You’re awake.” Said a Trooper medic.
“What happened?”
“You had a heart attack and passed out.” At-Lass answered as he and Lo-Vee enter the room.
“We were just lucky that those Shadow Lights caught you in time.”
“What’s his condition?” At-Lass asked the medic.
“He’s recovering nicely form the heart attack. But there are numerous signs of irregularity in his circulatory system.”
“You mean I should just be glad to be alive.”
“No-Ble, what the hell happened out there?”
With a grunt, No-Ble replies: “I greatly underestimated the Fenice. It completely ignores the commands of the pilot. It has an audacious design that far exceeds todays most advance equipment.”
“It ignores the pilot?” At-Lass asked.
“It takes into consideration all types of battle patterns and makes it possible for the one suit to achieve victory on its own. At least that’s how I found it. But I’ve become such a coward. The more I tried to utilize the abilities of the mobile suit the more I start doubting my own abilities. I start asking myself ‘Is that all you’re capable of doing?’” No-Ble then smiles for some reason. “Rather than a suit for battle you could say it’s a suit for dueling. It takes a brave pilot to bring out its true potential.”
“A brave pilot?”
“Brave enough to risk death for victory. I still have a long way to go if my own fears are putting me in the hospital. How long until I can get out of this bed?” He asked the medic.
“As long as you avoid anything stressful, sometime tomorrow afternoon.”
“Do as your doctor says for once, No-Ble.” Al-Lass added as he’s about to leave.
“Where are you going?”
“I need to check on the lieutenant.”
Training room
At-Lass watches as Lieutenant Ibrahim Smirnov runs on a treadmill set for 20 kph, showing no signs of exhaustion or random expiration. “How is he able to run for 30 minutes like this without any signs of exhaustion?” At-Lass asked the Trooper from the Super Solider Instate.
“Simple. Number 1 has nano-machines imbedded in him to maintain his physical functions. That allows him to remain active for extended periods, whether he’s in space or other harsh environments. In addition the sensory amplification we applied to his-”
“That’s enough!” At-Lass suddenly snapped.
“Is there something bothering you about this?”
“You Troopers don’t see anything wrong with what you’re doing in your secret labs?”
“No, not at all. If the Gorns are to continue to live on then we need to better adapt ourselves to the harsh environment of space. After all that’s how the humans program originally began.”
“I understand that there is potential, but even seeing it done on something other than a Gorn just disturbs me for some reason. By the way, what’s the status of the lieutenant’s machine?”
“It’s 95% complete. We’re using Warrior No-Ble’s Fenice suit as a basis for the lieutenants. The difference is that the Zeheart will have an altered design and be adapted to Super Soldier Number 1’s reaction speed and Quantum Brainwaves."
“Warrior No-Ble’s Xvv-xc Fenice and Lieutenant Ibrahim Smirnov’s Xvt-zgc Zeheart. Our trump cards against the Gundams.”

“Everything okay, dear?” Amanda asked over the comlink.
“So far so good,” Amani answered as she passes though a gate. “I’m heading to the blimps where the spectators can see the tests.”
“Who are you talking too?” A security guard suddenly asked.
“Oh, just the voices in my head.” Amani answered. The guard is bewildered by her statement as she continues.
“Just keep up with your cover until the blimp takes off.”
“Right.”
Private Blimp
10 kilometers above the surface
“The tests are about to start,” said the duke.
“These machines — the Xvv-xc Fenice and the Xvt-zgc Zeheart — Gorn Industries plans to use them against the Gundams, correct?” Celestia asked.
“That’s what they said,” said the duchess.
Celestia then looks over to the blimps that civilians will be using to watch the testing. “I’m shocked that Gorn Industries actually allowed that.” She said. Right now there are 2 blimps in the air, both being 550ft long and 385ft wide. The passenger compartments are divided into three sections, the center being directly connected to the air sacks. Each compartment is about 85ft wide, totaling 255 feet in width. The central compartment is 360ft long while the two side compartments are 275ft long.
“They started,” Discord pointed out. Looking outside, Celestia sees four mobile suits. Two of them are a yellow and purple colored variant of Gorn Industries’ Wind Light suits, but the other two are the new models. The gray and red one is the Fenice, meaning that the other one is the Zeheart.
The Zeheart is around 18.7 meters in height. It’s mostly orange with small gray and yellow decals on the arms and legs. Like the Fenice, the Zeheart has an observation line going across the face that is a light blue. But it has a more upright poster and no wings (though it still has a tail that’s divided into eight 2.5 meter long bits). Light green pointed bits are mounted on the wings, elbows, and knees for some reason.
“Gorn Industries’ new experimental suits.”
Xvt-zgc Zeheart
Lieutenant Ibrahim Smirnov has just finished running a systems check. The weapons and propulsion systems are working at 100% percent functionality and the Quanta Operating System is fully functional.
“Lieutenant, No-Ble, let’s check out your machines’ maneuverabilities. Follow the designated course at full acceleration.”
“Roger that, Knight At-Lass.” Said Ibrahim into the comlink. No-Ble accelerates first and soon reaches his top speed. Here I go. He accelerates and soon catches up with No-Ble’s machine.
“We’re now at full acceleration.” Said No-Ble. The two then perform a sharp turn of about 75 degrees.
Xvv-xc Fenice
The G-forces were excruciating. No-Ble could feel his blood being compressed as he performed the turn. But with much will he manages to not black out. “How’d I do?” No-Ble asked.
“Better. You didn’t black out and you only have a course error of 27.85, far better than the 68.9 from before.” Said Lo-Vee.
“What about the Lieutenant?”
“He only got a course error of 0.25.”
“Is that what a human super solider can do?” Lo-Vee asked as Ibrahim goes on ahead, moving closer to the civilian blimps and the airport.
“Considering that since we’ve lost the ability to evolve naturally because of centuries of living in space and genetic manipulation — with the closest thing to that being small genetic anomalies in the Drone class — this Super Solider Instate might be the key to the Gorns future.”
“Yes, but…”
“Something wrong, At-Lass?”
“He’s still just a hatchling really.”

A strange feeling suddenly appears in her head. And it just won’t go away. “What is this?” She asked, dropping her bag. The feeling then turns into pain as she grabs her now throbbing head. “Ah! My head!”
Xvt-zgc Zeheart
The feeling has now escalated from weird to painful. Ibrahim is now having a difficult time controlling the Zeheart as he ascends into the atmosphere. “Ah! It hurts!” He cried.
“Lieutenant, you’re veering off the designated course. What’s wrong?” At-Lass asked. He, Warrior No-Ble and Princess Lo-Vee are now following the lieutenants machine as it swings wildly around.
“Sir - Agh! - something’s throbbing - Ah! - in my head!”
Private Blimp
“What’s wrong with the pilot of the Zeheart?” Discord asked, he and the others having notices the pilots earthing behavior.
“Is he hurt?” Celestia asked.
Tallinn airport
“Amani! What’s wrong?” Amanda asked over the comlink, but it falls out of Amani’s ear as she stumbles around the airport. “Amani?” She then steps on the device by accident, crushing the comlink as Amani grovels to her knees.
“Miss, is something wrong?” A traveler asked. Amani’s sudden headache has attracted a small crowd now, about 10 ponies with a few more glancing as they trot by.
“Where?” She asked. “Where did this headache come from?” She groans in pain as he hair begins to spike up, while the lock of hair that normally covers her right eye moves to her left. As this happens her voice begins to grow slightly deeper and sounding far more aggressive.
Opening her right eye, a look of hatred can be seen, made even more terrifying by its color: a deep, dark red. “Damn!” She cursed. “What the hell is this!? And just who is screwing around with my head!?” She yelled as she got up.
Xvt-zgc Zeheart
“Huh?” Came from Ibrahim’s mouth as he heard a voice. It sounds like a girl, and it’s coming from the airport. “Who are you?”
“I am going to kill you!”
“Ah! Noooooooo!” Ibrahim screamed as he aims his Beam Vulcan in the suits right hand at the airport, either oblivious or ignoring that an observation blimp is in front of him.
“Lieutenant, stop!” No-Ble called out as he, At-Lass and Lo-Vee charge at the Lieutenant’s machine, but its too late.
“No! Get out! Stop it!” He cried as he fires, creating several giant holes in the blimps air sack.
Knight At-Lass’ Wind Light
“Stop it! Lieutenant!” At-Lass cried as he and No-Ble restrain the Zeheart. “Lieutenant, cease fire!” At-Lass orders. Suddenly, the Zeheart just stops moving. Going limp, it nearly slips out of No-Ble’s and At-Lass’ grips and fall to the ground 10 kilometers below. “What happened?”
“He passed out.” No-Ble said.
“Oh, no! Look!” Lo-Vee cried. The blimp that the Lieutenant had shot at begins to fall as the air sack deflates.
Tallinn airport
“Who is it?” ‘Amani’ asked. “Who is that person?”
“Hey, look!” Someone suddenly called out, pointing outside to the sky. “Isn’t that one of the observation balloons?” He asked. Looking closely, it is one of the gallons. The air sacks had been punctured and it’s falling to the ground.
“An accident?” ‘Amani’ asked herself before she chuckles with much amusement. “It sure sucks to be them.”
“Asami.” A voice suddenly said.
“You stay out of this, Amani!”
“Asami!” Amani pleaded. Memoirs from the past begin to return.
Amani and several others drifting aimlessly in space. “Are we gonna die?” A little girl asked.
“Oh, no! I don’t want to die!” A boy pleaded as he claws away from Asami, pure fear is written on his face and is everywhere in his voice.
“Please. Kill me! Amani!” Another girl said.
“Not again!” Amani cried as she retakes her body, the hair beginning to return to normal as the red eye is hidden by the strand of her hair, showing her light pink eye again. “Not again!” Grabbing her bag, Amani quickly leaves the airport.
Private Blimp
“The observation blimp is going to crabs into the ocean if we don’t do something!” The duke cried.
“Why did that pilot lose control?” The duchess asked as Celestia and Discord look at each other.
Nodding in agreement, the two quickly leave the blimp and fly towards the falling blimp. “What the hay are they doing?!”
Knight At-Lass’ Wind Light
“Control room, this is At-Lass. Give me a damage report about the blimp!” At-Lass demanded as Lo-Vee is given the Zeheart.
“Here’s the situation. The second observation blimp has a helium leak and will crash into the ocean in 600 seconds. And according to the distress single there are 457 people trapped inside it, and only about 12% of them are pegasi.”
“What about a rescue team?” Lo-Vee asked.
“Princess Celestia and Prince Discord are already on their way to try to slow the decent of the blimp and a rescue them has been scrambled to reach the blimp in 7 minutes. But Celestia and Discord can only slow it down by about 120 seconds.”
“What!?” The stunned No-Ble asked.
“Me and No-Ble will aid Celestia and Discord. Lo-Vee, you transport the Lieutenant back to base.”
“Understood.”
“But sir! An object with that much mass-”
“Lives are at stake here!” At-Lass screamed as he and No-Ble rush towards the falling blimp.
Observation Ballon 2
“Can’t we just teleport everyone off?” Discord asked as he and Celestia reach the blimp. The two of them are straining themselves with trying to keep the aircraft from falling any further.
Celestia strains herself as she tries to respond to her husband’s question. “There’s just too many passengers to do that. Even if both of us do teleport them, there will be a chance that some of them would get twisted limbs, at thats the least of the potential hazards.” Suddenly, the they see two of the mobile suits from earlier. “What are they here for?”
“Maybe to help?” Discord asked.
Knight At-Lass’ Wind Light
“Seven minutes until it hits the ocean. The only way to keep it from hitting the ocean is to accelerate that aircraft to a speed where we can fly it back to the airport.”
“Then what are we waiting for?” No-Ble said before he heads to where Celestia and Discord are at. At-Lass follows as the two Gorns begin to push the blimp forward. The immediately activate their machines thrusters at full capacity.
“What are you doing?” Celestia asked as she and Discord move to where No-Ble and At-Lass are.
“We’re trying to help. The only way to save everyone on the blimp is to speed it up to where we can fly it back to the airport.” At-Lass answered. Looking at each other, Celestia and Discord decide to help them and move to where they can be out of the two mobile suits ways and help them.
“Can we even do this?” The strain filled voice of Celestia asked.
“We can’t falter now! We need to speed this up quickly before it hits the ocean in 5 minutes!”
“But this blimp isn’t moving forward at all!” Discord shouted.
“Then what can we do?” At-Lass asked.
Beep!
“Huh?” At-Lass asked as his observation monitor picks up something.
“What is it?” Discord asked, having heard the confused Gorn over the sound of the rushing wind.
“Something is moving towards us at an incredible speed.”
“I’m picking it up too. What kind of machine can approach this fast? And why didn’t it show up on the radar?”
“I think I see it,” said Celestia, when she gasps. “Is that a…?”
Soon they see a mobile fighter fly towards them, giving off yellow colored particles. Its long, sharp, and is white, yellow, and light pink in color, with two shotels attached to what looks like the cockpit. Suddenly, the nose splits in two as the back half rotates backwards, the pointed ends becoming feet. The wings then unfold into arms, and a head rotates into view, the shotels now on its back. On it’s right leg is a small blaster, and there’s a light pink, butterfly shaped shield on its left arm. It has crystal clear yellow eyes, above which is a pink v-shaped fin. It’s now a mobile suit, standing around 18.7 meters.
“A Gundam!” Celestia exclaimed as the Gundam begins to push on the blimp as well, its thrust — along with the thrust from At-Lass’ and No-Ble’s machines — begins to push the blimp forward.
“It-It started gliding!” The surprised Discord said.
“But why are the Gundam Meisters doing rescue work?”

“Then what can we-” Celestia began to say, when she’s cut off by a new and surprising voice.
“Can you hear me?” A young and timid voice suddenly said. “Everyone, please move to the central compartments.”
“Is that the Gundam Meister speaking?”
“I repeat, if you don’t want to die then move to the center. There isn’t much time. Please hurry.”
Discord then gasps when he realizes just how young the meister is. “That voice…”
“She’s a little girl.” At-Lass finished. Inside the blimp all 457 passengers have just moved to the center compartments.
“Gundam pilot!” Celestia suddenly said. “Everypony in the blimp is in the center, but we have less than 100 seconds left until we hit the ocean. Go and save yourself.”
“I’m sorry, but I can’t do that. For a Gundam Meister, two things are important. One is that failure is not an option.”
“And what’s the other?” Discord asked.
“The other,” the meister began. “Is that a Gundam Meister is never alone!” Suddenly, a light cornflower blue beam blast appears and tears apart the right side compartments.
“What the hell!?” No-Ble asked as he looks over to where the beam came from. Another Gundam is aiming a sniper riffle at the left compartments.

“Nice shooting, Amanda.” Amani said over the comlink.
“Thank you, dear.” Amanda then carefully aims at the joints connecting the left compartments to the central one. “Targeted and firing!”

The Evasive fires another shot and separates the left compartments. “That should do it. Now move!” Amani shouted … well, sorta. The blimps remaining compartment then begins to turn around as Amani accelerates her Gundam, leaving At-Lass, No-Ble, Celestia and Discord behind as she makes a u-turn.
Knight At-Lass’ Wind Light
“Now I get it! They cut off the two empty compartments to reduce the mass of the blimp. That way she can move it back to the airport with little difficulty.” Said the amazed At-Lass as the Gundam gives what’s left of the blimp to the rescue team.
“Sir! The Gundams!” A Commander in a Shadow Light said as the Gundam transforms into its mobile fighter mode and leaves with the other one.
“The rescue takes top priority!”
“R-Roger!”
“That was kind of you, At-Lass.”

Both having been put in their quarters during that time. Why were they imprisoned? Because they got involved in an incident that has nothing to do with the Gorns, even though it was a machine created by them, and for letting two Gundams escape.
In At-Lass’ room, the door finally opens for the first time in over a week. It’s Princess Lo-Vee. “Knight At-Lass, you and No-Ble are now free to go.” She said, No-Ble standing behind her.
Managing to put on a smile, At-Lass gets up and exits the confined space. “About time too. I was starting to get sick of doing nothing all day.”

“And in need of answers,” At-Lass replied. “Is the lieutenant okay?”
“We’ve conducted a though physical examination of the lieutenant, but we’ve found no problems. The numbers indicate that his Quantum Region and Quantum Brainwaves are at normal levels.”
“Then what caused him to lose control like that?”
“We’ve analyzed his Zeheart’s mission recorder and detected abnormalities in his Quantum Brainwaves. Ordinarily…” The Trooper tried to look for the right words. “This should be impossible.”
“Then how did those abnormalities happen?”
“The only logical conclusion is that we’re looking at an external influence.”
“‘An external influence’?”
“If that’s so, then the only thing that can cause this reaction would be someone like the Lieutenant, someone who can utilize the Quantum Region of their brain and be using Quantum Brainwaves.”
“You mean someone else like him was out there?”
“Well, I’m just saying that it’s just a theory. I can think of at least two other ways to cause a reaction like that.”
“How do we prevent this from happening again?”
“We’ve modified the lieutenants suit so it blocks Quantum Brainwaves from the outside. This won’t happen again.”
“Is it that important to you to have the lieutenant out on the battlefield?” At-Lass snapped.
“At-lass.”

There is a night stand with a lamp, next to which is her terminal. It’s basically a small folding tablet with a holographic screen. On it is several pictures that Amani has of her family in their home colony as well as some group pictures of the Gundam Meisters during their training back on Earth.
But those are not on her mind. Her mind is back in Maretonia, right before that experimental mobile suit started shooting at the blimp. Who was that? She thought as she lies down in her bed. The last time I felt such a surge in my Quantum Brainwaves was before they attacked Wahid, when I tried to save Alleluia. Are the Gorns experimenting with the QBS now?
A knock at her rooms door suddenly brings her back to reality. “Come in.”

“Seven major cities around the planet were just attacked by terrorist simultaneously, including Canterlot.” She answered.
“What!?” The girls around the table all said.
“We’re there any casualties?” Starburst asked, when she gasps. “Is my brother okay!? He’s supposed to be home soon and-”
“He’s okay.” Whirlwind said in a reassuring tone. “They were only small blasts from time bombs. Unfortunately they happened in places where ponies often gathered, the train station in Canterlot being one of them. Others included business districts. I heard that at least 100 victims lost their lives.”
“That’s just terrible.” The shocked Amani said.
“And a few minutes ago the ones responsible released a statement or responsibility to the news networks.” Whirlwind added. “Unless the Gundam Meisters ceases their armed interventions and disarms, they will continue to engaged in indiscriminate retaliatory attacks around to world.”
“That group again.” Starburst said under her breath. “Do they know this can of thing could happen?”
“I’m sure they do, which will only make then act out against the terrorists.” Said Amanda.
