Hello and thank you for reading yet another installment to 'Faith and fire'. Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, there has been no actual story line progress for a little while. This is because not only did the chapter I wrote take the longest so far, but a couple of days before its completion the internet gave me the finger and shot a virus at me. Long story short, lost the file, no backup, starting from scratch. So now I decided to give a little 'first person' moment, and as you may tell this particular event occurs long after those of the last chapter I put up. So basically, think of each chapter as a log that was recording the events that transpired while the Halo Skulls were in Equestria (or just think of it as a plain-as story, it works either way). Do not worry, I AM NOT SHELVING OR SCRAPING THE FIC! Just please be patient as I gather time and motive to get the next chapter done, thank you.

Also I'd like to give all of you who have shared you interest and advice in the making of this fan-fic, you have all been brilliant. It is your support that continues to drive me to keep writing these chapters, a project I am thoroughly enjoying.

So, thanks to you all, the next chapter will be up as soon as possible.
