Dear mother of everything good, I uploaded this story yesterday and it's already broken 100 likes and was already featured. And about to break 200 likes.
I don't know what to say.
So here's more Pony story.
Enjoy.
Jason continued to struggle forwards, pressing his new appendages against the ground, keeping tall with all of his will before collapsing into the dirt face-first. As he fell, he muttered several words.
"Fucking legs!"
Since he had left his meeting with Princess Celestia, he had decided to listen to her advice and began to wander towards Ponyville, whatever it was, and try to familiarize himself with this new world. Being a dead man in one world had its ups. For one, he didn't need to stress about going back again. They already thought he was dead once, and the Scribes of the Brotherhood couldn't stand trying to rewrite their records due to the fact that he wasn't dead after Project Purity. Forcing them to rewrite the records again might lead to them making sure he was dead before finalizing their records.
Accepting the cold, hard, unforgiving truth that he didn't know the first thing about getting back, Jason decided to stay alive for as long as he could in this new world, and try to give himself a new life. Unfortunately, he didn't know the first thing about walking on all fours, especially not like a Pony. In fact, this was the first time he had ever even seen a Pony, and now he was one. A Unicorn, no less. He wondered for a bit why he was a Unicorn, but decided that could wait until he was being taught "magic".
Bringing his face up from the ground, finally, he looked up and saw Dogmeat staring at him a few feet ahead on the path.
"How do you do this?" Jason asked, struggling to get back up. "I can't even believe I managed to stay up for that long talking to Celestia."
Eventually, Jason managed to stand up, albeit a bit wobbly, but was still standing none the less. He took a slow breath before focusing on each one of his legs.
"Alright. Slowly. And. Steadily." He whispered to himself.
Jason moved out his left foreleg and his right hind leg at the same time, and placed them on the ground at the same time. In the next breath, he slowly moved the opposing legs, right fore and left hind, trying to find a rhythm in the motions. After thirty seconds of slowly moving the legs, Jason got a good feel to the motion before finally getting down basic motion. Soon, he caught up to Dogmeat and together, they started to walk down the dirt path.
"Alright. Getting the hang of this." Jason said to no one in particular.
He moved his gaze to the trees and bushes around him before realizing something.
"Hasn't been a critter or Raider since we left Celestia. Think that they're just watching, waiting for us to slip, Dogmeat?" Jason asked, turning to his companion.
Dogmeat responded by sniffing around and shaking his head.
"Maybe they realize who's the real predator here, isn't that right?" Jason said with a smile as he rubbed side up to Dogmeat.
Dogmeat then responded by licking Jason's face a few times as they continued down the path.
After a few more minutes of walking, Jason saw the trees becoming more and more spaced out. He also noticed that the Sun was starting to peak over the horizon and was now flooding a majestic light over him and Dogmeat. When he felt it hit him, he felt power from it. More than just the power from the Sun in the Wasteland, this one felt... alive. Like it was reaching out to him and holding him tightly while shoving enough Med-X down his throat to ward off a Shotgun blast. He felt like he could take on the world. And by God, he was going to, that much was certain. There was also something in the Sun that felt... familiar, like he had felt it somewhere before. His thoughts were interrupted when Dogmeat started to bark towards the path they were on.
Snapping out of his stupor, Jason looked ahead and saw that they had finally exited the mass of trees and were now looking at a mundane wooden cottage. Although Jason had seen cottages before, he couldn't help but stare at how artistic and perfect this one was. It was made entirely out of wood, which was rather dull at first, but now that Jason really looked at it, it was far smoother and easier on the eyes than any ruin or shed that he had seen in the Wasteland. He also saw unbroken windows, a properly mounted door, and amazing scenery. There was a big tree that held small toy-like houses and a bridge that went over the cleanest river that Jason and Dogmeat had ever seen.
Only now did Jason realize how bone-dry thirsty he was. The two quickly went up to the small river as Jason held out his Pip-Boy. When he finally touched the water, the Geiger Counter didn't respond. Not a single Rad in the water. He swiftly reached to the water, only to splash it about when there wasn't a hand to cup. Jason stared hatefully at the new appendage as Dogmeat began to lap at the water, unaware at the rage building inside his master.
"Fuck all." Jason swore.
Dogmeat looked up to his master and started to playfully bark at him.
As they did this small exchange of banter, a certain Pegasus began to watch the two with caution.

Fluttershy was having a rather nice day. She woke up with a nice stretch, had a great, healthy breakfast, and was ready to start her time with her animals. She went outside and readied herself with a breath of fresh morning air. The first ones that she would see was almost always, at this hour, the fish. The Pegasus made her way down to the stream with a bag of bread at the ready. When she came close, however, she heard a voice.
"Fuck all."
In response, the timid Pegasus shot into cover by the bridge and waited while carefully listening to the unknown source of the voice.
'Oh no, this is scary!' She thought to herself. 'Who's there? What do they want? Why would they curse like that? What could-'
"<Bark, Bark>!" She heard.
At that moment, Fluttershy realized that there was a dog nearby that was speaking to its master. By its tone, she understood that the master may be upset at the time, but that he was just trying to adjust to a new way of doing things. Now driven by the fact that there was now a new animal to meet, and how well it spoke to its master, she thought it might be a good idea to at least see who was cursing so close to her home.
Standing there was a light blue Stallion with a darker blue jacket and a Stetson atop his head, along with a horn. He had odd fabrics wrapped above his flanks, and an atom for a Cutie Mark. To his side was a very large dog. She had never seen one like it, being almost as big as her, if not exactly as tall. It had black fur on top of light brown that spread over the rest of its coat, and a rather strange face for a dog, as though it were bred for a specific use of its mouth and nose. The Stallion raised a hoof towards the dog and started to pet the dog's head slowly and playfully before lowering down and drinking straight from the stream.
Fluttershy found it odd that a Pony like that would do something so... strange, but she really wasn't one to judge. Especially since she knew Pinkie. With a deep breath, she slowly stepped forwards and spoke to the two.
"Um, e-excuse me?"

Jason shot back up and stood in a defensive position when he heard the voice call out to him. Dogmeat perked his ears and merely stared at the Pony before them. It was definitely a she, considering the frame, voice, and hair. She had a yellow coat, almost like heavily radiated skin cells, like his Dad showed him. Her hair was a light pink, almost surreal at the moment. On her back were two growths that sprouted feathers of some kind. On her flank was a picture of three... things, with wings, that were also pink. And as well, she had a tail, almost as thick as the hair on her head, and in the same hue of pink.
He watched carefully as she slowly began to talk to them.
"Um... I'm sorry if I interrupted. I just wanted to know, why are you here? Also, who are you? If, that's not too much to ask." She stated, hiding behind her wall of hair.
Jason cleared his throat, now moist with clean water, before speaking up.
"Sorry, ma'am. Just needed a drink for me and Dogmeat, here. Isn't that right, boy?" He asked, turning to his companion.
Dogmeat barked in response as the Pony reeled back.
"D-dog... meat?" She asked, fear quaking in her voice.
"It's his name. At least, what he responds to. I wanted to call him Quasar, but he only responds to Dogmeat. Been my best friend ever since." Jason finished, smiling to his companion.
"Oh. Why is that his name, though?" She asked, inching closer to the now watchful dog.
"I honestly don't know. I found him in a scrap yard while wandering one day, and we just had something in common. We were both scared to be alone, and wanted someone to look out for. Turns out we were perfect to travel together, and we've been closer than brothers since then."
Dogmeat barked happily at Jason as the now Pony Wanderer began to rub Dogmeat's coat.
"Oh, how sweet." The Pony cooed. "You two must have really been thirsty, though, if you went to drink from this stream. If you want, I could get you something to eat."
Jason tipped his hat to the Pony before answering.
"Thank you kindly, but we're more of a traveling pair. We buy our food at vendors and eat on the way to whatever lies ahead of us. But, if you would be so kind as to point us in the direction of the next town, that would be mighty nice of ya." Jason stated, slipping back into his Wanderer accent.
"Oh, yes, I don't mind at all. Ponyville's just over that hill, there. You can't miss it. I'm Fluttershy, by the way."
Jason nodded towards Fluttershy in response.
"They call me the Wanderer. It's been nice."
The two were about to part when Jason remembered something important.
"Oh, before I forget, do you happen to know anyone by the name of "Twilight Sparkle"?"
"Oh, I sure do! She's one of my best friends!" She beamed.
"And where exactly is her estate? I was told that I could learn about magic if I talked to her."
"Oh, she lives in a massive purple tree-like castle by Ponyville. If you go over that hill, you'll see it for sure. I'm sorry I can't introduce you to her, but I'm sure if you ask really nicely, she'll help you with whatever you need."
"Thank ya, once again. Have a nice day."
With that, Jason and Dogmeat began to trek towards the hills. When the two got to the top, they stood in awe at what was awaiting them. In the distance, they saw a massive town, sprawling with color and life like Jason had never seen before. All of the buildings were in great condition, and the way it was built reminded him of Big Town, except without the Super Mutants and constant threat of Death... hopefully. Jason looked up a bit and saw a massive purple building, indeed like a tree, sprouting up straight from the ground, showing off a massive star-like series of shapes and gleaming, perfect carvings that seemed all to perfect to be considered real. All in all, this place already seemed like a step out of Hell, and the first step on the Stairway to Heaven.
Jason heard a low whistle, and turned his head slightly to see what was making the noise. A train. An actually working train! He had seen some in wreckage, even rode in a small metro system from underneath the Capital, but never before had he seen a train in not only working condition, but rails that weren't teeming with Deathclaws and Raiders. Even more, he watched as the mass of colorful metals went off towards a mountain. On that mountain, was the purest, brightest, most perfect city that Jason had ever laid eyes on. It sat on that mountain, defying all laws of physics as if to show that whoever built it was superior to the forces that be in every way possible. Though he couldn't exactly see a sign, being almost completely out of sight, he guessed at what exactly he was looking at.
"Canterlot." He whispered to himself.
With a nudge from Dogmeat, Jason found himself back in reality, and together they began to wander forth towards their new destination.

Celestia wandered about the Castle halls in deep thought about the Wanderer. About Jason. He had come to this world, expecting to die, yet he was content with merely wandering around Equestria. She had seen the purity of the intent in his eyes, and she held no doubt that he meant nothing but good, but for some reason, she found herself wary about him. He carried himself in such a way that she felt fear about just knowing him, yet felt as though she was safe underneath his vigilant eye. Yet Celestia couldn't help but hesitate at the thought of him just wandering into Equestria, her home. Something about those strange objects he had, yes, but more about what he had implied about them. That he wouldn't mean any harm to anypony. More than that, she felt comfortable knowing how he interacted. He was calm, not too quick to judge, and listened very well, yet was always on the draw, and spoke to her as if she were anypony else. Others may see that as an insult to her, but to know that even with her royal status and even the fact of her might being far greater than any other being in the forest at the time, he was still comfortable with speaking to her as somepony else. Like she was able to fit in, once again. And that thought made her wonder. She smiled to herself that someone accepted her more as a friend than a leader, and how much she would cherish whatever time she could spend with him if he decided to visit. All she had to do, was wait while he wandered.
