The moonlight shone over the rather small town known as ponyville and once the last light was turned off, it signified to the two cloaked figures that it was time to get moving "Do you have the flyers?, my faithful assistant". The other hooded figure nodded and pulled out a stack of flyers "Good, now just placed them around the walls".

"......" Without uttering a single word the taller figure's empty claw was enveloped in a emerald green aura and one by one, the flyers left his other claw and placed themselves around the nearby walls " It's done."

Slightly laughing, the shorter figure approached one of the posters that were on a window of a shop " heh, " she pulled down her hood to reveal herself to be none other than a familiar cyan-blue mare, with a silver mane. " In due time this town will forever remember the name of-"she began to raising her voice " The great and powerful-"

The lights from the store lit up "Huh? Who's there?"

"oh whoops!" she pulled back up her hood and ran to her assistant "It's time we take our leave" Almost immediately, they both teleported away.

"Who's making that noise?'' A tired stallion walked outside " Whoever it is, you better- huh?" The stallion noticed the poster and began reading it.

"Today, this afternoon at 3 pm, be prepared for a familiar face will make its triumphed return that will reveal who really is the greatest unicorn in all time! Gather around and be amazed by the, The Great and Powerful Dragon Tamer!!!"

~Meanwhile in Canterlot~

Princess Luna was getting ready to enter the dreamscape, when she saw her sister getting ready for bed " Hello dear sister going to go asleep after a long day of work" The other pony was a white alicorn with a rainbow flowing mane that flowed in the none existent breeze, responded.

"Good night to you Luna, getting ready for your night court?" The white alicorn ask.

"Not today Tia we are just going to patrol the dreamscape today see if anypony is in need of help from there nightmares,(besides its not like anypony go to night court anyways)." Luna's eyes narrowed. "We have been sensing a unusual amount of nightmare energy all around equestria but today it seem to have settled in ponyville, so we shall use this opportunity to investigate."

Celestia nodded and held a stern expression "Well then, I wish you the best of luck during your investigation " Celestia's eyes soften a bit. "But please be careful little sister I have been getting reports from all over equestria that the nightmares our subjects are experiencing are so terrifying to the point were the ponies couldn't work anymore without being so paranoid " Celestia wrapped a wing around her bringing her to a warm embrace.

" We shall sister, We shall see thou tomorrow" Luna walked to her quarters to go see the dreamscape, little did she know that somepony or rather someone was watching her.

"Hehehehehe" A deep disorientated voice echoed through the dreamscape watching Luna and Celestia through a crystal ball "So the spirit of the moon, night, and the dreamscape has come to play huh? Hehehehe well I guess it's time to show her that the dreamscape belongs to me now AHAHAHAHAHA!"

Luna arrived to her bedroom and ordered the guards to make sure no one bothered her. "Now time to find out what's going on the dreamscape" The lunar princess concentrated her magic into tracking down the source of the disturbance. "Gothca." Luna smirked and released her magic, and suddenly appeared in a individual's dream were the nightmare energy seem to originated from,  "*Gasp*".

Everywhere Luna saw there were corpses of dead ponies, griffons, minotaur, and a few what appeared to be a couple of hairless apes? But what really frighten Luna the most was the strange bipedal black creature whose body seem to be hold together by stiches, and it's body seem to be made out of shadows, the creature had a blue curved  unicorn horn (similar to king sombra's) on his head, and a pair of blue pegasus wings stitch on to his back, but strangely he was not a alicorn or even a pony, his body resembled a diamond dog only taller, and his arms and legs were thinner ,his claws were larger than that of diamond dog, he had eyes similar of a changeling as well. The strange creature was laughing and standing behind what appeared to be a dragon mix with a snake.

"AHAHAHAHA do you see it now! Do you!? The pain!-" before the creature could finish his rant he spotted Luna and gave her a devilish grin "Oh? well sorry to cut our meeting short old friend, but I'll be sure to visit soon, but it seems I have company." The dream faded along with the dragon, and a set of doors appeared, Luna knowing she didn't have a choice went through the door only to have slammed shut behind her. Luna yelped and started looking around to look at her surroundings, but there wasn't a source of light anywhere.

"Hehehehe you have no idea how long I've waited for you to find me dear lulu, hahaha" The creature flew to a far enough distance, so Luna wouldn't be able to see him, " But first a test." The creature snapped his fingers and a maze burst from the ground. "If you can beat the maze and find me before this soul wakes up then we can talk...HAHAHA, good luck 'princess.'" the creature hiss out the princess part as if it were poison and, at the snap of his fingers he disappeared laughing.

Luna smirked already thinking she has won the game. " A test? Well then, we shall partake in this game foul demon, and when we defeat you we'll do more than just 'talk."
