Shooter's Crush

Rainbow zoomed in through her non-screened window. She just got back from spending fifteen minutes hanging out with Soarin and Hoop, egging Barkling's house. She quickly re installed the screen and was greeted by a very happy winged dog.

"Hi, Skycatcher. That was fun." Rainbow chuckled.

An image of Soarin's face popped up in Rainbow's mind. His face was full of shock and pride. It was so funny looking. Soarin had thrown an egg and managed to hit the handle of Barkling's back door. Rainbow couldn't help but giggle again.

Rainbow trotted down the stairs, seeing her father, Rainbow Blaze, still watching TV.

"Hi dad." she said.

"Hey Dash. Wanna watch some TV with me?" he asked.

"Sure." she shrugged. She didn't really want to watch TV, though. She wanted to hang out with the other nine ponies she had spent the night with.

And she sat next to her dad, watching TV, but spacing out.

***

Soarin threw a mini basketball through a hoop attached to Hoop's door.

"What to do?" he asked.

"I don't know." Hoop replied.

Soarin shrugged, "We can always just knock on Rainbow's door and ask her to hang out with us so her parents aren't suspicious for why she's gone."

"No way, dude. Her parents would freak. She has older brothers, too, y'know?" Hoop remarked.

"She...has...older brothers?" Soarin asked.

A pang of fear went into his heart. Oh, what if they heard about his flank-grabbing? They would hunt him down and kill him for sure.

"Its worth a shot." Soarin told Hoop.

"You sure?" Hoop asked.

"Yeah." Soarin lied. He wasn't sure at all.

***

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Rainbow told her dad.

Rainbow trotted to the door, and was surprised to see Hoop and Soarin there.

"Oh hey, guys." then she called out to her dad, "It's my friends, dad. I'm going to hang out with them."

Her dad didn't question. "Okay. Bring your phone."

Quickly, Rainbow flew up the stairs and grabbed her phone.

"Bye." she said.

"Bye." he replied.

Rainbow closed the door behind her and Soarin gave a sigh of relief.

"What's so relieving?" Rainbow asked.

"I was scared your brothers were going to come and kill me." Soarin admitted.

"Nah, they sleep until like, twelve." Rainbow replied, "Anyways, where to?"

"Hoop's house." Soarin replied.

Quickly, the three pegasi flew above Rainbow's house and toward's Hoops, who only lived two houses behind.

The trio arrived, and walked in.

There, Rainbow saw a young colt; he looked like he just finished fourth grade. Rainbow remembered him from Hoop's ninth birthday party. The kid was only five years old at the time. He probably didn't remember Rainbow Dash.

Before they could trot into Hoop's room, the young colt came trotting up.

"Hi, I'm Shooter! Who are you?"

"Rainbow Dash." Rainbow replied blandly.

Shooter smiled, "You're really pretty, Rainbow Dash. Will you go out with me?"

Rainbow gave a look of concern to her friends.

"I can't. Sorry." she replied.

"Why?" Shooter asked.

"Because, um..." Rainbow started, "I have my coltfriend with me...uh, right now!" She grabbed Soarin and held him close.

"Soarin's your coltfriend?" Shooter cocked his head.

"Uh, yep! He's my coltfriend, um, isn't that right, Soarinpoo?" Rainbow asked.

"Right..." Soarin mumbled.

"Oh well...you'll be mine one day, Dashie. Just wait." Shooter warned, and trotted away.

Rainbow let go of Soarin.

"That was weird. Why would he ask you out of nowhere?" Soarin asked.

"I don't know. He's a kid." Rainbow replied, as the three made way to Hoop's room.

"Still-" Soarin began.

"Soarin, why do you care so much?" Hoop questioned.

Soarin thought about it. Why did he care so much? He shrugged it off, "Dunno. Whatever, let's do something."

***

After playing a couple video games, Hoop and Soarin both getting their flanks kicked, the trio decided to leave Hoop's room and go outside. They were making their way out the door when Shooter came running up, holding a rose in his mouth, and a box of chocolates in his hooves.

"Hello, my love." he told Rainbow Dash.

What the hell? Rainbow thought, Even when I was ten I didn't act this crazy.

She stared desperately at Soarin, in hope for him to take action.

"Oh, um...wait, uh, what the hay are you doing with my marefriend?! Back off." Soarin tried to make an angry growl.

"No, I can beat you up! She's mine." Shooter growled back.

Soarin gave a glare at Hoop.

"Just do it...don't hurt him to bad though. But still hurt him, that little brat deserves it." Hoop whispered in Soarin's ear.

Soarin nodded, and looked at Rainbow Dash.

"Yeah, uh, may the fight begin! Whoever wins gets my love, and no rematches are to happen! Whoever loses is never allowed to talk to me again." Rainbow finished quickly.

"Go!" Hoop shouted.

Then the brawl began.

Rainbow watched and almost laughed as Soarin purposely took it easy on Shooter, and Shooter giving it his all.

Soarin held the little squirmy pegasus down.

"ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, FIVE, SIX, SEVEN, EIGHT, NINE, TEN!" Hoop counted, and when he was done counting, Shooter was still pinned by the older colt.

"SOARIN WINS!" he announced.

Soarin let go of the little pegasus and was given an angry glare.

"I'll still get your love, one day, Rainbow Dash." he grumbled.

"You're not allowed to talk to me, remember?" Rainbow remarked.

Shooter just gave another growl, but then flew away, off into some part in the house.

The trio left, satisfied.

They arrived at the nearby park, where Rainbow gasped and flew away to try and hide, but it was too late. A mare saw her. Not Northway- thank Celestia- but rather BusyBay. She was a nice little mare, who was three years behind Dash (just finished fifth grade), but was too young to partake in the interests and activities that Dash and her nine other friends were. (No, not what you're thinking, silly.)

"Hi Rainbow Dash!" BusyBay cheered. She was at the park with her younger brother, NightFlight, and his three other friends. They just finished second and third grade.

"Hi, Busy." Rainbow said, nervously.

"Who's that?" Soarin asked.

"A neighbor..." Dash sighed.

BusyBay trotted up.

"Hi, Hoop! I've seen you around, but I've never really talked to you! And who's this? Is this your coltfriend, Rainbow?" she asked, excited to meet more ponies.

"N-no." Rainbow Dash stammered, trying to hide the obvious blush on her cheeks. Soarin had one, too.

"Oh, then what is he?" BusyBay asked, examining the nervous and confused colt.

"I can't have a guy friend?" Rainbow asked.

"Oh, well, I guess that's true! Hey Rainbow, are you going to Six Ponies this summer?" Busy asked, "I am, on June tenth! I'm going to ride the new roller coaster!"

"Yeah. I was planning on going on the seventeenth." Rainbow replied, "Also the coaster looks awesome."

"Six Ponies? I love that place. Haven't been there for two years, though." Soarin said.

"Me too, I haven't been there in a LOOONG time." Hoop added.

"Well, I don't know for sure, but maybe I could bring you guys." Rainbow said, now getting an idea.

"Oh, that's such a good idea! I'll ask my parents to change the date so we can all go together!" Busy asked, and ran off.

"I wasn't talking to her..." Rainbow sighed.

Suddenly an idea hit Soarin, "We can go to my house! I have air hockey and other stuff to do."

"Sure, why not?" Rainbow added. She always wondered what Soarin's house looked like.

***

The twelve years and one month old pegasus sat in her room, sitting with her friends. She had similar looks to Soarin; the light blue coat, the green eyes, but her mane had a stripe of yellow in it instead of pure navy blue. She also had a different mane style, of course. It was with no doubt she was Soarin's younger sister. Her name was GlidingSea. Most just call her GS, though.

GS squealed, "And he was like, super cute! And he talked to me!"

Then the front door squeaked open, "Ugh, Soarin must be back. He still has to give me back my ear buds! I'll be back, girls." GS said.

She trotted down the stairs and then her eyes widened at the sight. She saw Hoop; it was normal to have him over, but there was another pony. A mare. She couldn't of have been no more than two years older than GS.

GS smiled. Oh, she was so going to embarrass the crap out of Soarin.

She trotted back upstairs, and into the room.

"You'll never guess what I just saw!" she giggled in an evil-like tone.

"What's it, GS?" one of her friends asked.

"You'll never believe it...Soarin brought home a mare!"

***

Rainbow Dash was talking with Hoop and Soarin while drinking a can of soda. She loved soda, and obviously Soarin and Hoop did, too, because they were on their second can.

The oven beeped.

"That must be the pizza." Soarin said, and began to fly over.

"Soarin! I have your lipstick and eye shadow, stop leaving them in my room!" GS shouted.

Rainbow gave Soarin a confused look. Hoop was confused as well, and Soarin was confused the most.

***

"Do it!" a friend of GS's said.

"I don't know..." GS said as she looked down the stairs, "I think that's a bit too mean..."

"Oh come on, just do it!" another friend urged.

"Okay..." GS said, and then shouted, "And Soarin, why the buck is there a box full of condoms under your bed?!"

***

All three pegasi's mouths dropped.

"S-Soarin?" Hoop stammered.

"I swear to Celestia, she's lying! I-I'm a virgin! Don't listen to her!" Soarin cried.

Rainbow didn't believe it. "I can't believe I'm friends with a horny motherbucker. Is that why you're friends with me? So you can buck me?!"

"No, Rainbow, I swear, please-" Soarin began, but Rainbow got up, and flew out of the back door.

He galloped outside, "Rainbow!" he called, but the rainbow pegasus was already far away.

Hoop walked up to him, "Be honest with me, 'Soar. Do you really have a box of condoms under your bed?"

"No!" Soarin screamed, "Why would you even think I would, Hoop? Especially when it's from my sister?"

But Soarin didn't want to admit what is under his bed.

Something he stole from his brother.

Y'know, those magazines.

Tiny Crush

Rainbow opened her door quickly. Her dad was on his laptop.

"Hi Rainbow, did you have fun with your friends?" he asked, looking up at his offspring.

I probably would've if his sister didn't save me from it. Rainbow thought.

"Yeah." she lied.

She trotted up to her room and sat on her bed, looking at the pillow.

She didn't know how to react.

Should she cry like a foal? Should she be screaming and punching the walls?

She just sighed, and stretched her wings, and lay on the bed.

Rainbow then felt a feeling she never thought she would from this situation.

Guilt.

What if Soarin's sister was lying? She never saw Soarin wear makeup the entire school year. Rainbow then felt bad for the sudden bad reaction. She did, for sure, not want to have sex with Soarin. Not with anypony. She was still too young. But Soarin never showed any signs or hints of stuff like that. It had to be a lie, it had to.

***

Hoop knocked on Rainbow's front door.

Opening it was a stallion; no doubt Rainbow's dad.

"Hey, Hoop! I haven't seen you for years!" he said after he opened the door.

"Hi Rainblaze. I need to talk to Rainbow Dash about something, can I come in?" he asked.

"Uh, sure." Rainbow's dad said, but still with uncertain.

Hoop trotted up the stairs, and knocked on Rainbow's door.

"Who is it?" Rainbow sighed from the inside.

"Hoop." Hoop replied.

"Hoop? Come in, I guess." she sighed.

Hoop walked in, and noticed the obvious difference between Rainbow's bedroom. The walls became cyan, matching her fur. The white carpeting had been replaced with hardwood, and she had a new dresser, and a different bed. Her original bed was actually two beds, one slid out from under the other. Now she had a queen. All of her dolls and play houses were gone, and her closet had a desk fit in it and there was a shiny new laptop. If you push in the chair and close the closet doors, there would never be a sign there was even a desk in there.

Neat. Hoop thought.

"Soarin talked to his sister-well, really yelled at her. She was trying to embarrass him in front of you." Hoop said.

"Embarrass him? She ended up making us both scared half to death, then!" Rainbow cried.

"Trust me when I say this, Rainbow. His sister was a lying brat. But... I think he has a tiny crush on you." Hoop said.

"What?" Rainbow asked.

Soarin...has...a crush on her?

"Why do you think that?" Rainbow asked.

"I don't know, after you flew away, he seemed really sad. I then noticed something different about him. After WeatherFeather sent us home, he fell asleep in his sleeping bag, smiling. And I swear I heard him say, 'Rainbow Dash' in his sleep. And then I heard him giggle. Then he grabbed his pillow and cuddled against it. After we woke up, he brushed his teeth until they were pure white. He was chewing mint gum all day, I finally ran out of gum and he was forced to stop before we even invited you. He even asked me, 'Does my mane look good?', and 'Do my muscles show?' Yeah, I'm sure that's enough to prove the point that he has a crush on you." Hoop finished.

"Right...you were saying a tiny crush, right?" Rainbow asked, "No, that sounds like a huge crush if you ask me!"

Hoop bit his lip, "Yeah, should we go back now? Also, I think you should give Soarin a chance."

"What?" Rainbow asked, "He's daring you, isn't he? This is all a trick. This is too see whether to find out I have a crush on him or not, isn't it?"

"Rainbow, his sister just embarrassed the hell out of him. Why would he try to make the situation worse?" Hoop questioned.

"You really think I should?" Rainbow asked, nervous. Despite the fact of having amazing athletic talent and being not half-bad looking, she's never been asked out before. She's never been in a relationship before.

"Yeah, you should. I really think you should. You two would be adorable, honestly." Hoop admitted, "I saw it from the start, in August, when you two used to hate each other. I knew then you two would get married one day. I just didn't want to tell, I didn't want to make it...awkward. I mean, look how far you've come, almost a year later? You guys are friends, and Soarin is crushing on you."

A blush went to Dash's cheeks.

"I guess..." she said, although she didn't believe Hoop about the marriage part.

"Good, come on. I'm sure he'll be happy for your forgiveness." Hoop began making his way out, and Rainbow followed, and they quickly flew to Soarin's house.

***

The doorbell rang. Soarin had just lost a friend, which happened to be his crush, and really didn't feel like answering the door. His sister and her dumb friends flew out of the house, his brother and parents were at work, and he was basically alone, which is what he wanted. His dumb damn sister...he should have known that his sister would've done something. Hopefully Hoop could convince Dash that Soarin was telling the truth. It all happened to quickly; being trapped at Northway's, and all of that crap. Soarin realized he had a crush on Rainbow when she kicked his and Hoop's flanks in video games. She was such a beautiful, talented mare.  Who wouldn't want to date her? He remembered Rainbow Dash telling him how she never kissed anypony before, and never dated before. Soarin thought, It's like getting a brand new iPone for free. But it's a very rare iPone, and there's only one. And once it's taken, there are no other like it around. So ponies try to steal it away, or you lose it from your mistake.

Sighing, Soarin walked to the door, and opened it with a sad tone, not looking up at the ponies outside the door.

"I'm sorry." he heard.

Soarin could recognize that voice. He looked up and saw Rainbow Dash and Hoop next to each other, Rainbow with a guilty face, and Hoop with a satisfied smile.

Wow, Hoop convinced Rainbow fast. he thought.

He couldn't help but smile dumbly. "Yeah, my sister's a stupid brat."

Rainbow still couldn't make eye contact with the colt. "Do you forgive me?"

"Of course, Rainbow." Soarin smiled.

Rainbow looked up at the colt, who happened to have a dumb smile.

Without thinking, Rainbow wrapped her hooves around the colt and had a warm hug.

Soarin's eyes widened, and his wings quickly spread and he tried to move them but couldn't.

Celestia damn wingboners... he thought, Oh god, what happens when she opens her eyes?

He glanced over at Hoop, who looked like he was having a seizure holding back a laugh, watching Soarin's reaction to Rainbow's hug.

Rainbow let go.

Her eyes widened at the sight of the spread wings and the red-hot face, giving her a blush for the fifty-millionth time that day.

And all was silently awkward.

Air Hockey and Older Brothers

The silence was broken with GS and her friends coming in through the front door.

"You won your love back, haven't you?" GS teased.

She's right, even though she's only teasing... Soarin thought, "Oh come on, it's not my fault no stallion wants to be your friend. Drama queen." Soarin snickered.

GS rolled her eyes, "Whatever." and her and her friends trotted up the stairs.

One friend didn't follow the clique, though.

"Hey," she said, using her hoof to lift up Rainbow's chin, "We can hang out sometime...y'know..." she gave a bedroom eye look, a blush forming to her face.

Then she flew away.

Hoop and Soarin burst out laughing.

What...the...hell? Rainbow thought.

"Whatever. Let's go play hockey. Also, is the pizza out yet?" Rainbow asked.

"Oh yeah!" Soarin said, "Pizza. You like supreme, Dash?"

Rainbow rolled her eyes, "Obviously, don't you remember last night?"

"Nothing but the horrors of that closet." Soarin shuttered.

"I hope Northway doesn't see us ever again. I really hope she moves." Hoop added.

"Agreed." Rainbow said.

Soarin pulled out the pizza and put it on the plates.

Each pony ate their pieces quickly.

"So, hockey. We should have a tournament." Dash said.

"Okay, me versus you then. Then I'll play Hoop. If I win both rounds, then you and Hoop have to play each other again until one wins, and then the last round determines the winner." Soarin said.

They trotted down the stairs, where Rainbow saw the basement.

It. Was. So. Big.

Pool table, TV, Sofa, Popcorn Machine, Ping Pong, and a bar. Not to mention the air hockey.

"Nice basement, Soarin." Rainbow complimented.

"Thanks, although when am I going to be able to get to go to your house?" Soarin asked.

"No idea. It's not as cool, though. Anyways, let's get the game on. First to four goals wins!"  Rainbow said, and raced to one end of the air hockey.

Soarin raced to the opposite, and teasingly said, "Bring it."

Hoop placed a puck in the middle of the table.

"Go!" he yelled.

Rainbow was the first to hit, but Soarin hit it back even faster.

But it wasn't fast enough for Rainbow. She hit it back, but weakly.

Soarin hit it back, a powerful blow, and Rainbow tried stopping it. It got in her goal.

"Dang it!" she hissed.

Soarin grinned.

Hoop placed the puck back in the center, and yelled, "Go!" again.

Soarin managed to hit it first, this time, and sent another flying goal.

"Heh." he said, looking at his frustrated crush.

Then Hoop repeated the process.

Rainbow hit the puck first, and nearly sent a goal. But Soarin managed to stop it and hit it back, but Rainbow hit it back even harder, and it went back and forth for about a minute, until Soarin reached to far and hit it weakly.

Using all of her strength, Rainbow sent a soaring goal.

"Aw, dang it." Soarin muttered.

The same thing happened the next two rounds. Somehow Rainbow learned how to best Soarin.

And then, they were tied.

"This round determines who gets to go to the finales!" Hoop announced.

It was on.

The game was so intense, each pony refused to make a mistake, each trying their hardest to best each other. Rainbow found an opportunity to send a goal; but she hit way too hard.

The puck went flying into Soarin's forehead.

She gasped, "Oh my god! I didn't mean it!"

Soarin was too dizzy to hear.

He almost fell back, but Hoop saved his fall.

"Rainbow, go get an ice pack!" he yelled.

The only thing going through Soarin's mind was amusement. It was so funny, because of what happened in the school year. It was the same feeling he got after getting beat up in school. And Rainbow Dash saved him. But then he got the same dizzy feeling from getting hit by Rainbow Dash with a puck. He fell asleep reliving the moment in a dream...

"Oh you wanna go, Soarin? Think you're so cool?" a colt a strong build asked, "Me and my buddies could kick your ass." Soarin had gotten himself in a bragging situation, where a few colts then denied his awesomeness. "I'm not scared of some wannabe." Soarin muttered. "That's it! Let's get this kid's dick out of his throat!" the colt yelled. Instantly, Soarin was pushed back into a locker and was being kicked and punched by the trio of colts. He screamed, and tried getting up but couldn't. There was no other ponies around. He was so dead. Or so he thought. Out of nowhere, a stallion was pushed to the ground, by a very angry Rainbow Dash. The other two stallions backed off; they couldn't hit a mare. "What the buck is wrong with you?!" she yelled, landing in front of Soarin. "We-" one began, but Rainbow cut him off. "You know what?! I don't care. Get the buck out!" the stallions left running and grumbling in annoyance and fear. Rainbow looked over Soarin, "You okay?" she asked. But he was too dizzy to respond. She wasn't strong enough to pick up the stallion, only strong enough to drag him across the floor. The bell rang, but Rainbow didn't care. Soarin grumbled as he got up to his hooves, but it was a challenge to keep his balance. Rainbow wrapped a hoof around his back, "Come on, Soarin. Let me take you to the nurse." she said. Soarin just did as told, and still had trouble balancing even though he had Rainbow's support. Once Rainbow walked into the office, and the teachers saw them, they gasped, and said, "Oh my gosh! Bring him to the nurse's immediately." Rainbow didn't make any hesitations, and went through the back of the office into the nurse's office. She was talking to a student. "A couple of stallions were beating him up. I had to help him. He needs help, right away. He looks like he's about to pass out." Rainbow said, concerned. And as if on cue, Soarin did.

Soarin awoke on his basement couch, with a cold ice pack on his forehead and Rainbow and Hoop leaning over him.

"Soarin? You okay?" Hoop asked.

"Yeah...I had a dream...but it was really a memory...it was of Rainbow Dash helping me after I got beat up by those stallions...remember Rainbow?" Soarin asked, yawning.

Hoop smiled at Rainbow, and Rainbow said, "Yeah, I remember. We're so lucky they got suspended."

"Yeah." Soarin said.

"And dude, she so wanted the d!" A voice came from the top of the stairs.

"Not...the...right...time." Soarin muttered.

"Who's that?" Rainbow asked.

"My...brother. Hide!" Soarin whisper yelled. Rainbow quickly found a spot between the wall and the back of the couch.

Then she heard hoovesteps.

"Hey, Hoopster!" the same stallion's voice teased, "What happened to Soarin here?"

"He thought he could fly blindfolded and hit a wall." Hoop lied.

"Why would you do something that stupid?" another voice asked.

"I don't know." Hoop shrugged.

"Well, can you guys go? I need it to be quiet." Soarin moaned like he was sick.

"Haha, no." the first stallion replied, and began playing music from his phone that was technically ear rape.

"Dude, I think I lost my phone behind the couch." the second stallion said, "I'll see if it's behind there."

"No, it's not!" Soarin yelled.

"How do you know?" the stallion asked.

"Because I cleaned out there the other day! I didn't see a phone." Soarin said.

"I can still check." the stallion said, making his way towards the back of the couch.

"No-" but was cut off by, "Uh, Soarin, who's the mare?"

Rainbow saw a stallion; he didn't look like Soarin, and instead had a long-ish black mane, red fur, and yellow eyes.

"Uh...hi." Rainbow said, giving a nervous smile. There was no point in hiding, so the rainbow mare came out of her hiding spot.

She saw Soarin's brother. He had the same fur and eye color, but his mane was more of a brownish than navy blue. He had a smile on his face.

"Soarin, cm'on, get up, let's talk, brother to brother." he said.

Soarin looked with concern, but obeyed, and followed his brother into the other room.

***

His brother closed the door.

"That's a really pretty marefriend, you have there, Soarin. You don't need to hide her. I'm just telling you, I have extra packs and pills at Moonshine's house. I can go pick them up for you." he told his younger sibling.

Soarin's face went hot red, "Blazingbull! She's not my marefriend! I just thought if you found out I had a friend that's a mare, you'd tease me non-stop!"

"Oh, she isn't? Okay, but I can see you have feelings for her." Blazingbull commented.

"I don't!" Soarin protested.

"There's no point in lying, Soarin. I'll still pick 'em up. You're a handsome guy. I wouldn't be surprised if she's crushing on you back." Blazingbull responded.

"I'd only do it if she absolutely wanted to!" Soarin growled.

"I know you want to have some fun with that mare, Soarin. I used to fantasize about that, too, but with Moonshine. She didn't want to, either, like your mare. And one day she felt she was ready, so we did. And yeah, it was fun. I was fourteen, can ya believe that? Your age. I'm sure your time is coming soon. So let's just be prepared." Blazingbull patted Soarin on the head with his wing.

"Fine." Soarin said, giving up.

"Good boy. Now how come you aren't dating that pretty mare?" Blazingbull questioned.

"She doesn't like me back, and she doesn't know I like her." Soarin mumbled. The last thing he wanted right now was a being-a-horny-teenage-colt talk from his older brother, but he really had no choice.

"Well then make her like you, Soarin! Make a move. Impress her." Blazingbull exclaimed, "I started dating Moonshine when I was twelve. I'm two years ahead. We even talked about the fun stuff at that age, but she waited two years- until she was fourteen. What I'm saying Soarin, is that you can't wait. Don't finish last. Now go have some fun with your friends."

He opened the door, and using his wing, pushed Soarin out it.

"Hoop and the mare went upstairs." RedWheel, Blazingbull's friend, said.

"Okay, cool. Go catch up with them, Soarin." Blazingbull replied.

Soarin didn't even question.

5 minutes earlier

"I don't know, Hoop. I'm just not feeling a connection between us." she sighed.

"Why not?" Hoop asked.

"I just...ugh, please don't tell Soarin this but... I have a crush on somepony else." Rainbow admitted. She never admitted her crushes before.

Hoop's eyes widened, "Who is it?"

Rainbow rubbed her neck, "I have his number and everything...we're planning on meeting at my house tomorrow night...we're really good friends and just..."

"I didn't ask that. Just tell me who." Hoop said.

"It's..." Rainbow started, "Well, it's Flashing Skies."

Hoop's jaw dropped, "How? You never even talked to him!"

Flashing Skies was one of the most popular pegasi there. He was handsome, funny, nice, just extremely hard to get. And Rainbow snatched him before any mare.

"We actually sometimes got together on weekends, but he said it'd be risking fighting other jealous mares if they found out how close of a relationship we were in. He's really protective of me." Rainbow said, with a blush.

"Does he know about Soarin?" Hoop asked.

"No. But if he found out about Soarin hanging out with me, he'd kill him, for sure." Rainbow grumbled.

Just then, Soarin came trotting up the stairs.

"Hey guys, what'd I miss?"

Rainbow looked at him with guilt, and Hoop with even more guilt. Soarin was no match for Flashing Skies, in looks or athletics.

You missed out on a lot, bro. he thought, Oh god, if Soarin ever finds Rainbow with Flashing... a scene of Rainbow walking with Flashing Skies played out in Hoop's head.

"So, a walk 'round the block?" Flashing Skies asked. "Yeah." Rainbow giggled, walking next to her now coltfriend. Meanwhile, Soarin is flying in the air, about to go to Dash's house to invite her over. Then Flashing Skies gives his marefriend a quick peck on the cheek. Soarin sees, and is first full of shock, but then is full of anger when Rainbow giggles and he soars down towards Rainbow and Flashing and lands in front of them. "What the buck do you think you're doing?!" he hisses at Flashing Skies. "Um, Rainbow, who's this?" Flashing Skies asked. "A friend." Rainbow says, annoyed,"Just a friend..." Soarin gets very mad now, and tries to fight the other stallion, but loses, and Rainbow and Flashing spit on his face before walking away, leaving Soarin on the sidewalk.

"Hoop? You okay?" Dash asked, waving her hoof in front of Hoop.

Hoop sighed, with worry and guilt.

"I'm fine..."

A Real Brawl

Rainbow opened the door for her friend to come in. Flashing Skies looked good; smelled good; he was altogether a great colt.

"So you're Flashing Skies." Rainbow's father inspected the colt. "Welcome. If you prove yourself tonight, I'll let you be with my daughter."

"Yes sir." Flashing Skies said.

"C'mon, let's go in my room. We can watch TV or something." Rainbow suggested.

It was such a perfect night; her brothers and mom were gone (Firefly had a bit of anxiety in the past couple of years.), her dad was in a good mood, and it was nice and warm.

The two sat on Dash's bed, watching TV together.

***

"Why not?!" Soarin protested.

"Just don't invite her? Okay, we can have a guys night tonight!" Hoop said.

"You're hiding something from me." Soarin growled, "I'm not dumb."

"Soarin, please, just listen to me. She's busy." Hoop said, getting tired of Soarin's complaining.

"You know what?! You're being ridiculous! You can go hang out with everypony else we spent the night with. I'm getting her!"  Soarin flew out of Hoop's room and out of his door.

"Soarin!" Hoop yelled.

Oh crap, he's going to find out about Flashing. Oh, no, no no!

***

There was a ring on Rainbow's doorbell, and Rainbow Blaze got up to answer. Outside was another colt.

"Who are you?" Rainbow Blaze asked.

"I'm Rainbow's friend, Soarin. And I'm Hoop's friend. I came here to invite Rainbow over to Hoop's." Soarin replied.

"Oh, uh, she's sort of busy right now, Soarin. You should come back tomorrow." Rainbow Blaze said, nervous.

He was so proud to see his little filly grow up into a beautiful mare. He didn't want this night of her's to be ruined.

"Can I just tell her something real quick, then?" Soarin asked.

"Uh, sure." Rainbow Blaze replied, and let the young colt in.

Soarin trotted up the stairs and was about to knock on Rainbow's door when he heard...

Giggling?

And then there was a slop.

What the buck?! he thought, and opened the door and saw exactly what he didn't want to.

His jaw dropped. Rainbow Dash. With a stallion. Making out with him. They didn't even notice Soarin for a few seconds. The stallion noticed him first.

"Rainbow, why is there a colt at your door?" he asked.

"What?" Rainbow replied, and looked up. She gasped.

SHIT, SHIT, SHIT, SHIT, CELESTIA SIZED SHIT! she thought.

She flew from the bed.

"OH, um, hi Soarin!" she acted like nothing happened.

Soarin, on the other hoof, remembered everything.

His face couldn't be described as anything more than jealous anger.

His wings twitched.

"Um, Dash, is he okay?" Flashing asked.

"Hey, I'm going to go next door for a few minutes to drop something off, Rainbow! I'll be back." Rainbow heard her father call from the downstairs.

"Uh, okay dad, bye!" Rainbow called back.

Everypony heard a door shut.

Once that door shut, Soarin leaped from the ground and pinned Flashing.

"WHAT THE BUCK ARE YOU DOING WITH RAINBOW DASH?!" he punched Flashing under the jaw.

"Soarin!" Rainbow yelped. She really wished she had Hoop's number right now.

Flashing looked confused and he kicked Soarin off him.

"Who the hell is he, Rainbow?!" Flashing called as he held down the struggling pegasus.

"He's my friend! From school! I have no idea why he's acting like this!" Rainbow cried. She really did know why, though. As if it weren't crystal clear obvious, Soarin had been crushing on her, and he was too jealous to think.

The two ponies fought into the hallway.

For a minute, Rainbow Dash let herself admire the fact that two stallions were fighting over her. But then she flew out the door and into the sky, towards Hoop's house. She swung open the door.

"HOOP!" she screamed, "I NEED HELP, NOW!"

Hoop came soaring, and followed her back into Rainbow's yard.

There, the two stallions found their way into the cloud-grown grass. They were fighting pretty hard now. She saw Soarin's nose bleed.

"Okay, break it up!" Hoop yelled, and held the two ponies apart.

They stared at each other with hatred.

Rainbow galloped to Flashing Skies. "Flashing, please calm down. If you really love me, you would."

Flashing did as commanded, but this just made Soarin even angrier, and he tried to go after Flashing Skies.

"Soarin, chill!" Hoop yelled.

Soarin finally stopped, but still stared at Flashing with pure hatred.

"I'll take Soarin with me. Dash, you have a good rest of the night." Hoop said, and he bit Soarin's ear and forced him to be dragged away.

"Let's get you cleaned up, Flashing. I can't believe Soarin did that. I'm so sorry. I'm sure to have a really long talk with him."  Rainbow apologized, and walked Flashing inside.

It reminded Rainbow of the moment where she took Soarin to the nurse. Speaking of fights, it was odd, because in August, her and Soarin fought because they were enemies. Now Soarin fought because he was jealous of another stallion being with her.

She got the medical kit and bandaged places Soarin managed to bite, but altogether, he wasn't damaged too badly.

Flashing brought her in for a kiss, and Rainbow giggled as they parted lips.

"Let's go in my room." said Rainbow, and they sat down on her bed.

Then she heard her dad knock on the door. "Who is it?" Rainbow asked, and her dad opened it. He was satisfied at the sight of Rainbow sitting with Flashing Skies watching TV, and nothing much more.

They're behaving like perfectly good kids, he thought.

"Just checkin' in on ya. Bye." he said, and closed the door.

The minute her dad closed the door, the minute Flashing wanted to go back to having a little fun.

He gave her another kiss.

Rainbow smiled, and soon enough it was a quiet make out session, because her bed frame was really squeaky, and they didn't want her dad to hear.

But on the back of her mind, Rainbow wondered how Soarin was.

***

"You're so stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid." Hoop scolded.

Soarin didn't reply. He just looked at the ground, and sighed in disappointment.

"Soarin, look at me!" Hoop hissed.

Soarin looked up, and the only thing he saw was an angry colt. He looked back at the floor.

Hoop rolled his eyes, "Okay, Soarin. Can we just have a calm conversation?"

"Sure." Soarin said quietly, still staring at the ground, not making eye contact.

"Well, what happened?" Hoop asked.

Now Soarin looked up at his friend, "I went over and saw that colt making out with Rainbow Dash...I got really, really, jealous. I didn't think, and I thought attacking him was the smart idea. But now Rainbow probably hates me..."

"What are you going to do about it?" Hoop asked.

"I'll be homeless, sit in a box by a park, have Rainbow and that colt get married there, watch the wedding in my box, and eat stolen cake." Soarin replied.

Hoop sighed, "Soarin, you should just leave Rainbow alone for a few days."

"Okay, can we do something? Like, play video games?" Soarin asked.

"Sure thing, 'Soar. Let's get our minds off this." Hoop replied.

And so they did.

***

"Bye, Flashing!" Rainbow waved as the colt left her house for the night.

"I like him, he's nice." Rainbow Blaze said, "Also, why is he all bandaged up? I don't remember seeing him like that before he came in."

"Don't know. Maybe we didn't notice." Rainbow lied.

She walked back inside, sighing. She brought out a piece of paper and a pencil. Usually she didn't like writing, but now she felt like it.

I don't know why Soarin did that. I wish he would've ran off crying like a little filly, not attack my coltfriend. I didn't think he was that jealous.

Rainbow thought for a moment, what else could she write down?

I don't know what to do, honestly. Should I talk to Soarin? Avoid him?

She couldn't think of anything else to write, so she just watched TV in her room.

***

"Soarin! It looks like you were beaten up?! What happened?!" Blazingbull, the very concerned mentor-brother of Soarin asked.

"I-I..." Soarin began, and glanced over at his sister, who was having one of her friends sleep over. They were at the table.

"Can we talk in your room?" he asked, suspicious of his sister eavesdropping.

"Sure thing, little brother." Blazingbull said, teasingly, but concerned.

The two colts walked up the stairs and into Blazing's room.

"Hey, what's up?" he asked as he closed the door.

"Well...I got in a fight today." Soarin stammered.

"With who?" asked Blazing.

"I really...don't know who." Soarin said, a tinge of red coming to his cheeks.

"What? Did someone try to hurt you?" Blazing asked.

"Well, um, no. I was the first to attack." Soarin said, not wanting to get to the point.

"Why'd you attack him then, Soarin?" Blazing questioned.

Soarin hesitated and didn't open his mouth.

"Does it have to do with that mare?" Blazingbull asked, a sense of pride for his little brother starting to fill him.

"Y-yeah." Soarin replied, not making eye contact.

"Well, tell me, what happened, Soarin." Blazingbull sighed, "It's okay to tell."

Soarin let it out, "Well, I wanted to invite her over to Hoop's. Hoop told me not to, but I didn't listen. I went into her room and saw her. She was making out with some colt. I didn't think, I got really jealous. I attacked him, and we fought our way outside. Rainbow got Hoop and they stopped us. Hoop dragged me back to his house. Rainbow's pissed at me."

"That takes guts, Soarin." Blazingbull commented.

"It didn't take guts. It took jealousy. How can we become friends again?" Soarin asked.

"A five year old knows the answer, Soarin. Apologize to her." Blazingbull replied.

Soarin sighed, "This isn't stealing someone's barbie doll, Blazing! I can't just apologize."

"So what can you do then? Beat him up again?" Blazing protested.

Soarin groaned, "Fine. I'll try to apologize to her. But I doubt she'll ever forgive me."

Blazingbull gave a sad smile,

"Well, good luck to you."

Soarin looked at his older brother for the first time since going into the room and sighed sadly, "Trust me, I'll need more than good luck to fix this problem."

Northway Strikes Back

Rainbow knocked on Mascaran and Cheerleader's door. The stepsisters currently had their friends getting together in the family room.

The door opened, "Hey, Rainbow, anything new?" Cheerleader asked.

"Lots. Let's talk." Rainbow sighed.

"Kay." Cheerleader said and closed the door as Rainbow came in.

Everypony but Racer and Sprinter were there.

Mare's day. Rainbow thought.

"Hey Rainbow, where were you the past couple days?" Volley asked, sitting on a couch next to Helping Paw and Trackee.

It suddenly hit Rainbow. It was June 8th, the sleepover happened on June 5th, Rainbow left Volley's house on June 6th and hung out with Hoop and Soarin the whole day. On June 7th, her date came over and Soarin ruined it for her.

"Busy. Can I tell you guys something?" Rainbow asked.

"Anything, Rainbow. What's the matter?" Helping Paw asked.

Rainbow told the whole story- what happened after she left Volley's house, up to what happened after Flashing Skies left.

"That's...bad..." Volley said.

"No, it's adorable!" Mascaran squeed, "Stallions fighting for her! Oh, I wish that would happen to me!"

"No you don't." Rainbow grumbled, "It's terrible."

"Well, Soarin had a crush on you. Wouldja look at that." Trackee said.

"I saw it coming from a mile away." Mascaran replied.

"Soarin is not my coltfriend, though! I have Flashing Skies." Rainbow reminded.

"Are you guys planning on..y'know..." Cheerleader began awkwardly.

"No!" Rainbow screamed.

"You know you want to, Rainbow." Mascaran teased.

Helping Paw chuckled.

"Oh shut up, Mascaran. You know, I'm sure you and Racer have already." Rainbow responded, rolling her eyes.

"Would you guys stop it with Racer?! We aren't dating!" Mascaran protested.

"Oh, here's my perfect chance to tell you guys!" Cheerleader smiled, "Racer and Sprinter came over yesterday. They were making out in her room. Me and Sprinter both saw. Oh, it was so good. There was saliva on the bed and everything!"

Mascaran's face went bright red, "What?! No, I never ever did that."

"I'll ask Sprinter." Volley said, bringing out her iPone.

Did u see Mascaran making out with Racer yesterday?

After a few minutes...

Yeah I saw it was hilarious lol

"Well it's proven, Mascaran does have a thing for Racer!" Volley announced.

"What?! Let me see that!" Mascaran said, and snatched Volley's phone.

"Celestia dammit, Sprinter." she muttered, and gave the phone back to Volley.

"Okay, I did..." she admitted.

Everypony burst into laughter.

Mascaran changed the subject, "Did you kiss anypony before Flashing, Rainbow?"

"No, and my first kiss was a makeout. It was awesome." Rainbow chuckled.

"I've kissed a colt before. In like, first grade, though." Cheerleader said.

"I'm a lip virgin." Trackee muttered.

Everypony chuckled.

"Same." Volley admitted.

"Yup, me too." Helping added.

"I saw that MountainHike stallion looking at you in the school year, Volley." Trackee said.

"You did? Oh, he's cute. He's pretty nice, too." Volley thought aloud.

"I think Volley got a crush." Rainbow snickered.

Volley just smiled.

***

Hoop was surprised to hear a knock on his door. It couldn't be Soarin. He was right behind him. Instead, it happened to be Racer and Sprinter.

"Oh, um hi." Hoop said.

"The mares are spending the day together. So I thought we might as well have a colt's day." Racer said.

"Oh, good idea." Soarin said, wanting to use anything he could to get his mind off of what happened yesterday.

"Want to shoot some hoops at the park?" Sprinter suggested.

"Sure." Hoop replied.

The four colts made their way to the nearby park's basketball court, which was simply a large concrete slate with a basketball hoop.

There, they saw BusyBay again- but she saw them before they saw her. She raced up to them, excited, with the young colts she was watching at the park trailing after her.

"Hey, Hoop! Hi Soarin! Soarin, you look sad." She came up to his face and lifted up his chin, getting a good look of his sad face.

"I'm fine." Soarin said quickly.

Busy looked around the group. "Oh, hi, Racer and Sprinter! Where's everypony else?"

"They're all busy." Hoop lied. He knew Busy's feelings would be hurt if she hadn't been invited to Cheerleader and Mascaran's.

"Can we hang out?" A blonde colt, sister of Mascaran asked.

"If you guys want to play basketball, sure." Hoop shrugged.

Finally the other colts joined him, and the game began.

Busy wondered what to do. The mares were busy, the stallions were playing basketball, she would play, but she didn't really like basketball. Now she was sitting alone on a swing.

Then an idea hit her head.

The game ended, and she walked over.

"Who won?" she asked.

"Soarin, Wheelie, and I." Hoop replied, scruffing the young blonde colt's mane.

Wheelie laughed.

"Truth or dare..." BusyBay said, in an evil-like tone, "Everypony sit down and listen. You have to do whatever the dare pony says, unless it's kissing or killing yourself and stuff like that. And you have to tell the truth, no matter what. This makes it fun."

The ponies made a circle.

"I'll be the first." she said, looking over to Soarin, "Soarin, truth or dare?"

"Dare." Soarin said.

"I dare you to tell me why you're sad." Busybay said.

A blush went to Soarin's cheeks. But this wasn't truth- he could lie.

"My brother was just a jerk." he lied.

"Oh." BusyBay sighed, in disappointment.

She was expecting it to be like him fighting for Rainbow Dash because she was making out with some colt and then Soarin got really mad and attacked him and now Rainbow's mad at him.

BusyBay began to speak,

"Well, Soarin, it's your turn."

***

"Okay, pretend I'm Flashing Skies." Volley began, "I'm about to take you out on a date to Griffon Park." she put a hoof over Rainbow,

"Now let's walk to Griffin Park- which is the kitchen."

"Uh, okay." Rainbow said awkwardly, "Seriously, why are we doing this?" she asked.

The two arrived at the kitchen, and then behind the counter, Trackee popped out.

"I'm Soarin." she quickly whispered, then made a fake-angry face, "Now you see me, and I'm mad at your coltfriend. What do you do?"

"Uh, tell Flashing Skies to ignore him I guess..." Rainbow said.

"Okay, let's play it out." Volley said, and then walked Rainbow by "Soarin".

"Soarin" jumped on Volley and pretended to bite and kick her.

"AAAH, Oh nooooo." Volley said, dramatically falling to the floor.

"Your coltfriend has passed out! Now you have to face Soarin." Trackee said.

"What's the point in this?" Rainbow grumbled.

"Practice- for if you ever have to face Soarin somewhere with Flashing." Trackee whispered, then went back into character, then pressed her muzzle into Rainbow's cheek.

"What are you doing?" Rainbow asked.

"Pretend like I'm kissing you." Trackee whispered.

"Okay...uh..." Rainbow pushed away "Soarin". "What the hay are you uh, doing?! Get away from me!"

"But, I love you, Rainbow!" "Soarin" cried.

"No, get out of my face. Uh, Flashing, get up, we're leaving." She grabbed "Flashing's" hoof and brought "him" off from the ground and began to walk "him" away.

Mascaran over-enthusiastically clapped, "Bravo!"

Rainbow rolled her eyes.

"Should we go outside or something? It's nice and warm."

"Sure." Cheerleader shrugged, and they went in the large backyard of the step sisters'.

Rainbow stepped in the cloud-grass, and saw Celestia's sun high in the air. She wondered what it'd like seeing the sunset at the edge of Cloudsdale, despite the fact that it was still afternoon.

Then they heard...crying.

Each pony gave a confused look, and then there was a scream.

They all launched themselves off the cloud-ground, and then saw a horrifying sight.

Soarin, Hoop, Racer, Sprinter, and Busybay and young colts were taking a walk, when Northway shot out from behind a house and tackled Soarin, and with surprising strength, she dragged him away from the group. Soarin gave a scream, and all anypony could do was stare in shock.

So that's her special talent! Rainbow thought, Strength.

Rainbow was the first to take action, and then she flew over to the struggling Soarin.

She gave a nice kick to her face, and Northway howled, but she kicked Rainbow in the belly, knocking the air out of her and she fell, but luckly was saved by the soft cloud ground.

"Rainbow!" Everypony cried.

Northway progressed to take Soarin away, but soon enough, everypony managed to catch up to the mare and the scared colt, with Helping and Mascaran hesitating.

Rainbow lay on the ground, trying to catch her breath, and groaned, and slowly stood up, head spinnning.

She knew the combined power of about fifteen ponies had to take over one pony, right?

Right. she thought, as Soarin managed to break free with the help of the others.

Northway, now realizing she was outnumbered by fifteen to one, began to fly away.

Angered, Rainbow was determined to kick the buck out of that mare.

She flew after her, and someone from behind called, "Rainbow, stop!"

How can I stop if this damn mare won't learn her lesson? Rainbow thought, in anger.

She caught up with Northway, and punched her in the side.

Northway replied with a bite on the wing.

Rainbow turned while her wing was being bitten, and kicked Northway in the chest with both back hooves.

Now both pegasi were flightless, and in the air.

They crashed into the ground, and once they both got up, the fight continued.

Rainbow hit Northway under the jaw, and Northway fell, but arched her back and hit Rainbow in the belly, once again, knocking the wind out of her.

Rainbow couldn't recover in time, though. She was picked up by Northway and was lifted off the ground. She finally recovered, but could not break the grip of the strong mare.

Rainbow gave a scream, but Northway stopped her by shoving her hoof in Rainbow's mouth, Rainbow couldn't even bite down.

Northway proceeded to fly away.

Help, oh Celestia, help me! Rainbow thought, Where are my friends? They should be here by now!

Then Rainbow heard the flapping of wings, and then gave a muffled scream.

Northway flew behind a house quickly, and Rainbow continued to struggle.

From an angle, she could see her friends searching for her.

"Where is she?!" Volley cried, scanning the area around her.

Then Rainbow was startled by Northway's whisper, and she hissed, "Soon enough, you'll be my bait to get to Soarin. He'll see how much it hurts... and I'll take all of your stupid friends, too!"

"I'm calling the police." Helping said, and brought out her iPone.

Northway's eyes widened and said, "Poop...I guess I'll just have to take the long way."

And she flew, with Rainbow in her clutches.

***

"How would Flashing react?!" Mascaran said, worried out of her mind.

Soarin felt a tinge of red go to his cheeks.

Don't be jealous right now, he can help us get Rainbow back. he thought.

An officer came by, and questioned.

"So you're saying that this mare has kidnapped you before?" the cop questioned.

Mascaran nodded, and said, "Same with my friend, Helping, over there. They had to rescue us. But she took our friend, Rainbow Dash. She has a blue coat and a rainbow mane and tail.

"Do you know where she lives?" the cop asked.

Soarin replied,

"Yeah, we do."

***

Rainbow panicked as she was taken past Northway's house. She gave another muffled scream, but had to submit to the too-strong mare.

She closed her eyes, and hoped it would all be over.

She opened them when they landed.

She was at a different house, but it was rather the back of a house.

Rainbow was dragged inside the house, and into the basement.

Why always the basement? Rainbow thought.

There was another pony down there. A mare; about their age. She was pink with a blonde mane, and green eyes.

Northway began to speak, "I brought us a friend. But I don't think she'd make a good friend. She should use her for something else."   Rainbow began to panic. What would they use her for, exactly? "Like a model for our designs or something." Northway said.

Rainbow let a silent breath of relief.

Surely, her siblings or parents would find out before anything could happen, right? Rainbow thought, but she wasn't so sure.

"Good." the pink pony replied, "Did you get the other two, yet?"

Other two? Is she referring to Mascaran and Helping Paw? Rainbow thought.

"Almost got Soarin today." Northway said, annoyed.

"What about Hoop?" the pink pony asked.

"He was with Soarin. But like I told you, I only managed to get her." Northway pointed at Rainbow Dash.

Hoop? Rainbow thought, Why the hay would they want Hoop?

"Whatever." the pink pony said, "Just put her away. Let's make a plan to get the others."

Rainbow's entire body was wrapped in duct tape, which reminded her on what happened three nights before, how Mascaran and Helping Paw were wrapped in it.

She was put in a closet, where she continued to struggle but knew it was useless. Northway looked at her kidnapped pony, and smiled and closed the closet.

If somepony told me one day, I'd be captured by a super-strength, mentally-disabled mare and wrapped in duct tape and put in a dark closet, unable to scream because I had twenty layers of duct tape on my muzzle, I would've called 'em crazy. Rainbow thought,

But this is really happening. Why did I doom myself? I shouldn't of have chased after her...I'm so dumb... I've got to get out of here.

Rainbow couldn't move though, and all she could do was tip herself over, and hope the there would be a knife sticking out of the closet wall so she could have it cut the duct tape off.

She let out another muffled scream, but it was useless.

I'm dead...I am so, so, dead. So, so, dead.

Prisoner

Flashing Skies had just something in mind today. To have a little fun with his marefriend. He knew her parents weren't home that day. Brothers at work- mom and dad on a date day, so he and Rainbow could be all by themselves.

But there was no answer.

Confused, Flashing knocked again, but still no answer. He brought out his iPone. Exactly five o clock. Wouldn't Rainbow be home by now? She said she was going to her friends' for the first part of the day, but said she would be home by four thirty to five.

I'll just give her a few minutes. Flashing Skies thought, If she doesn't come within ten minutes I'll text her.

The next ten minutes seemed like hours, and still, Rainbow wouldn't come.

He finally got impatient and texted,

where r u?

***

Northway faced Cherrybomb, her pink pegasus partner.

She looked at the clock. Eight p.m.

"Oh yeah, I have to feed H1." Northway said (H1 standing for Hostage One)

"Feel free to feed her anything you want. Also, you might want to use rope instead of duct tape. We don't have an unlimited supply."  Cherrybomb said.

"Right." Northway said, "What if she has to pee?"

"I'll lock the basement door and guard it... let her use the bathroom. Ugh, this is going to be harder than I thought. You said there was about fifteen ponies at the scene, right? Fifteen hostages is going to be harder than I thought." Cherrybomb mumbled.

"Whatever, let's just take care of H1 now." Northway said.

They opened the dark closet, where Rainbow sat there, alarmed by the sudden apperance.

"It's bathroom break." Northway growled, and grabbed Rainbow by the back with the duct tape.

Cherrybomb held a knife and cut the duct tape off.

Thank Celestia it's off! Rainbow thought, and stretched her wings, and took off the small remaining pieces.

Right. Now it's time to escape.

She flew up the stairs and tried to open the door, then realized it was shut.

"Oh shit..." she mumbled, but by the time she unlocked the door Northway had grabbed her, and began dragging her back down the stairs.

Rainbow let out a scream, and Northway's hoof was back in her mouth yet again.

But Rainbow also really had to pee. To annoy her kidnapper, she peed all over Northway.

Northway screamed in disgust, "H1! You stupid filly! I'm not a toilet!"

Then suddenly the basement door opened.

"Oh crap, I didn't realize my mom was home. Hide in the closet with H1." CherryBomb quickly whispered.

Rainbow let out a muffled scream as she was dragged into the closet with Northway.

"Cherrybomb? Are you okay? I heard screaming." a mare asked.

Rainbow let out another scream, but obviously the mare couldn't hear, because she didn't react to it.

"I saw a spider." Cherrybomb lied.

Rainbow tried hitting and punching but Northway held her down.

"Oh, okay. Well, I'll be at work for a few hours. You're going to be alone." replied the mare.

No! Rainbow thought.

"Okay, bye mom!" Cherry said.

Rainbow let out another muffled scream.

***

"This is the police! Open the door immediately!" the cop quickly knocked on Northway's door.

A concerned mare opened the door, facing a police officer and a very angry group of colts and mares.

"Are you Northway's mother?" the cop asked.

"Y-yes." the mare stammered.

"Well, every one of these colts and fillies claim that your daughter has captured their friend." The cop replied.

"What?" the mare asked, and then a young pegasus colt came running up.

"Mom, why is there a police officer at our door?" he asked.

"Not now, Eastward." The mare grumbled.

"Well, can I go to KiwiBlast's?" Eastward asked.

The cop gave a suspicious look, "Does Northway happen to be friends with this 'KiwiBlast' colt?"

"No, but she's friends with Cherrybomb, his older sister." Eastward said.

"Do you know where Northway is right now?" the cop asked the mare.

"I don't know. Sometimes she leaves without telling me." the mare said, concerned.

"She might be there!" Mascaran gasped, "We have to go check it out."

"Come with us, ma'am. You too, Eastward." the cop said, "Now where does KiwiBlast and Cherrybomb live?"

"I'll show you." Eastward said, and lead the herd.

I swear to Celestia if she's not there... Soarin thought.

The cop knocked on the door. "This is the police! Open up!"

No reply.

He repeated himself, "This is the police! Open up this door immediately!"

Still, no reply.

***

Rainbow walked down a dirty red carpet wearing poorly sewn clothes, bemused. Her mouth was tied shut, and the basement door was locked.

Then she heard the knocking the door.

They found me! Rainbow thought.

Quickly, she flew to the door, and didn't even attempt to unlock it.

She blast her hooves into the door, and left a giant hole.

She gave a muffled scream as loud as she could as Northway dragged her back down.

Please hear me, oh Celestia, please here me. she thought.

She screamed again, but was hopeless.

"Shut up and get back to your modeling." Northway hissed.

Rainbow whined like an injured animal and slipped back into her costume, and walked back and forth on the red carpet, then her stomach rumbled. She looked at Northway.

"After you model the other four." Northway snapped.

Rainbow rolled her eyes and obeyed, slipping on and off four more terribly designed and sewn together costumes.

After that, Northway went upstairs, and got a can of soup out of the closet.

She then saw somepony's shadow out the window.

She ducked as the cop looked in.

Can't he just go away? Northway thought.

She grabbed a soup of can and quickly ran downstairs.

She opened up the cold can of soup.

She smiled evily,

"Enjoy your meal."

***

Soarin lay on his bed, and his head hung over the edge, where he looked at the floor.

It's been an entire day since Dash went missing. The cop decided he'd return to the location later, and search other suspicious areas. But still no Dash.

Soarin didn't want to think of all of the possibilities that could happen to her...

A tear went down his cheek. He really cared about that rainbow mare- and now he may never see her again. It broke his heart to have to gather up his new eight friends and tell her parents that she was kidnapped. Flashing Skies was there, standing next to the parents. He luckily didn't attack Soarin; that would've been bad. But he grew very, very, enraged.

"That bucking cunt of mare! I'm going to bucking murder her!"

Soarin looked up at his ceiling fan.

Wherever you are, Dash, please find a way out... please...

Rainbow screamed in pain as the pool stick hit her back.

"You-you're bucking insane!" she cried.

Northway growled, "Shut up! If you keep acting like this I'm going to have to shove you into the closet and you won't eat or drink for three days!"

"I-I don't deserve this!" Rainbow desperately cried, "Please, just let me go..."

Northway laughed, "Let you go? After all you did to me? I think not. I'm going to-"

"Cherrybomb?" the familiar mare's voice asked.

Rainbow screamed.

Cherrybomb's mother came galloping down the stairs, and Northway dragged her behind the couch and held her mouth shut, and Cherrybomb acted like she was hurt.

"What happened, Cherrybomb?" the mare asked.

"I-I tripped. I think my leg is cramped. I'll be okay, mom." Cherrybomb replied.

Rainbow let out a muffled scream.

"What was that?" Cherrybomb's mother asked, turning her head towards the direction of the noise.

"It might be a vent or something that's broken." Cherrybomb said quickly.

"Well, I might check out what's going on, then." the mare said, and began walking around.

Rainbow screamed again, and in response, Northway hit her above the head, and Rainbow let out a yelp.

"We can check it out later, mom! For now, can you make me food?" Cherrybomb asked, dragging her mother away from the noise.

Her mom looked at her, confused.

"Okay, uh, what do you want?"

***

Rainbow barely slept in the night. She was stuck in a stuffy closet instead of her soft cloud bed. All she wanted to do was snuggle up with Flashing Skies, feeling his warm wings wrap around her, and protect her from all of the bad things in the world.

That was her last thought before she fell asleep.

Rainbow usually awoke to the sun in her face. But today, it was dark when she woke up. She could still see, but the sunlight didn't awake her. A big yawn did. After a few seconds, a terrible smell came- morning breath. Wanting to know what in Celestia was going on, she slowly opened her eyes, still groggy, expecting her coltfriend to be on the other side of her queen, smiling as he says, "Good morning."

But instead, Rainbow opened her eyes to a very sleepy Soarin, who's mane was a mess and eyes were still closed. She screamed, and she screamed loud. Now alert, Soarin opened his eyes, and stood up on the bed. Rainbow screamed some more.

Then a pony burst in through the door. It wasn't her mom or dad, or brothers. It was her coltfriend, Flashing Skies.

Rainbow awoke with a start as Northway was in the entrance of the closet door.

"Breakfast time." she said, taking off the rope of Rainbow's muzzle.

"Don't your parents wonder where you are?" Rainbow groaned.

"Yeah. But I don't tell them where I am, obviously." Northway said, and handed Rainbow left over crust from toast.

Rainbow sighed at her meal, but ate anyways.

Then there was a loud knock, "This is the police! Let us in immediately!"

Northway's eyes widened, and Rainbow saw Cherrybomb behind her with an expression of worry.

Taking the opportunity, Rainbow screamed at the top of her lungs.

Northway replied with a punch in the face, and blood dripped out of Rainbow's nose.

Rainbow growled in anger and frustration, her ropes around her body not allowing her to move.

Then there was hoovesteps, and the police came down into the basement.

Rainbow screamed again.

"So she is here." one said, in anger.

"Get down!" the other shouted.

Northway struggled as she was held down by the heavy weight of two full grown stallions.

Cherrybomb stared in shock.

"Cherrybomb, help me!" Northway cried.

The stallions let go of Northway, and she had a four-way hoof cuff on her hooves. She also had wingcuffs on her wings.

"I can break these cuffs!" she hissed.

"You can't break those cuffs." the first officer said, shaking his head.

"Nnnnaaa!" Northway said as she tried to break the cuffs, but couldn't.

Cherrybomb was also quickly cuffed.

The police ran over to Rainbow Dash and quickly untied the tight knot.

Rainbow stretched her wings, legs, and neck.

I'm free! she thought, Oh thank motherbucking Celestia I'm FREE!

"Are you okay, Miss Rainbow Dash?" the second officer asked.

"Yes, I'm fine." Rainbow replied simply.

"Let's get them in the carriage, where we can take them into questioning. You Rainbow Dash, would you like an escort home to your parents?" the other asked.

Rainbow sighed,

"Yes...please."

***

There was a ring at the doorbell.

"Hi there, Rainbow's...mom. I'm Soarin, you saw me a couple days ago, right?" Soarin asked, looking at the crying mare.

"Yes...what do you want?" she wailed.

"Well, um, Rainbow told me you really liked chocolate about a week ago. So, I got this for you." Soarin pulled out a box of chocolates.

Firefly gave a sad smile, "Thank you for thinking of me, Soarin. You're a nice colt." she gently took the box of chocolates.

"Well, um, I have to go now. Have a good day." Soarin said, and began turning in the other direction.

"Bye." Firefly replied, and slowly closed the door.

Soarin sadly walked off the porch and into the driveway. Firefly's expression- pure pain.

Then there was the sound of hooves.

There, was a cop. Next to him, was a very tired Rainbow Dash.

Soarin gasped in delight.

Rainbow!

He galloped over.

"Rainbow! Oh my Celestia, everypony was so damn worried!"

He hugged her, not thinking she might still be pissed at him.

Rainbow hugged him back, and Soarin heard...sobbing.

"Soarin, I've never been so glad to see you, oh my Celestia...it was hell...pure hell..." she choked.

"Shh, it's okay now, it's okay." Soarin whispered, stroking her mane, and pulled away from the hug.

The cop began to trot towards the house, and Rainbow followed, along with Soarin.

He rang the doorbell.

Firefly opened it, exhausted, eating a chocolate. But when she saw her daughter standing next to the cop.

Pure tears, and she hugged her offspring, Rainbow crying along with her.

"I missed you so much, mom...I was so scared..."

Soarin just smiled at the happy mother and daughter reunion, feeling his own tear run down his cheek.

Ending It

June 17th. Rainbow excitedly sat in the rented carriage, next to Busybay, Soarin, and Hoop. In the front, her older brothers (which scared Soarin half to death), and her dad.

"Yay! We're going to Six Ponies! We should all ride Saddle Rage together! They have four seats per row!" Busybay cheered excitedly.

Rainbow just leaned against the back window with disappointment. Only if Flashing Skies had liked large roller coasters- but he didn't.

Rainbow fantasized about a romantic moment, on the ferris wheel, where they could kiss each other in total privacy, Soarin, Hoop, and  Busybay on their own cart.

She kept fantasizing until the carriage stopped. "We're here." Rainbow Blaze said.

Rainbow picked up her head, looking at the large rides above them.

***

Soarin trotted close to Rainbow as they entered the park. He was so happy to see her beautiful features, glad she wasn't stuck in Cherrybomb's basement closet. Instead, she was free, right next to him. She would be okay.

"So how should we start?" Busybay asked.

"I don't know. I think we should ride-" Soarin began, but was cut off by a disapproving stare by RainbowKnight, Rainbow's oldest brother, who had the same rainbow mane, but with light black fur and purple sparkling eyes.

Soarin then realized he was very close to Dash, and he was about to wrap his left wing around her.

Heat his face and he backed away, and continued, "The Wizard."

"I remember Wizard. I almost fell off that when I was eight." a grumpy, light green, rainbow-maned pegasus said.

"Envy, you're like, three times your size!" Dash exclaimed.

"Whatever. I'm never riding that thing again." Envy grumbled again.

"Well, how 'bout Soarin, Hoop, Busybay and I go together, and Dad, you can go with Knight and Envy." Rainbow said.

"Sure. Be safe, guys. Don't separate. That's asking for trouble." Rainbow's Dad replied.

Rainbow admired her father's trust in her.

"Whatever. See you guys!" Rainbow said, and the two groups split paths.

"So, to Wizard?" Hoop asked.

"Yeah. I'll ride with BusyBay, Hoop, you can ride with Soarin." Rainbow said.

Hoop just nodded, and they used the park map to find Wizard.

The old ride clanked loudly as it spiraled up it's lift hill. A spiral lift hill.

Then young fillies and colts screamed as it dropped. It wasn't a very thrilling ride, but it was good for beginners, or a warm-up ride for ponies who haven't ridden roller coasters in a while.

After about ten minutes of waiting, Soarin, Hoop, Busybay and Rainbow Dash managed to get their way into a car. Soarin and Hoop sitting behind the mares.

"I feel like I'm sitting on Santa Hooves's lap." Soarin commented, as he sat in front of the larger stallion's lap, because that's how the cars work.

"Same here." Busybay replied.

The employees of Six Ponies checked the seat belts, and let the ride begin.

"This is gonna make me dizzy." Soarin commented as they were halfway up the old spiral lift hill.

Finally when they got to the top, little fillies and colts screamed in horror, while the other four tween and teenage mares and colts laughed.

The Wizard's car dropped down, and semi-thrilling turns happened, and smaller drops, and the rough old ride ended.

"What next?" Busy asked, hopping happily as they left the Wizard.

"Let's do Viper." Soarin said.

Rainbow gulped. On her eleventh birthday, she went on Viper. It was a terrifying experience, because she was a little twig, and she was in the back, her seat  belt wasn't tight enough, the lap bar didn't go all the way down to her lap. She was standing up everytime it dropped.

"Sure." Rainbow said nervously.

"Scared?" Soarin asked, "I can ride with you. I-if you want."

"I'm her riding partner." Busybay replied quickly.

"Right." Soarin sighed.

Finally, after a fifteen minute wait, they got on the old wooden coaster. They did, luckily for Rainbow Dash, sat in the middle.

The employees gave the all-clear, and the ride took off.

Rainbow didn't laugh- she didn't scream either. She just remained silent.

She didn't stand up when it dropped, though. A smile crept to her face and she just laughed.

***

Night came, and the ponies rode everything. Even the new coaster, which had a jam-packed line, and they decided to go onto the ferris wheel.

"Hey, what was your guy's favorite?" Busybay asked, "Mine was Pegasus Flight."

"For me, it's Spartan. The new one." Rainbow replied, and Soarin and Hoop agreed.

They got in the cart, and the ride began to go up.

"Doesn't the moon look cool from here? I haven't flown all day, I forgot what it was like already." Hoop said.

"Yeah. The rides with lights look great. It reminds me of the end of every summer, when I go to the Cloudsdale fest." Soarin replied.

Rainbow smiled,

"I love the Cloudsdale fest! Ever been on that claw ride?"

***

The trip back was tiring, and everypony fell asleep in the carriage, sitting and sleeping- but Rainbow Blaze, who drove.

"Hey kids, wake up. Soarin, Hoop, you need to go home." Rainbow Blaze said, stopping at Hoop's house.

Soarin yawned, and got up and stretched his wings as he exited the crowded carriage. Hoop repeated the process.

Rainbow still remained asleep, but Busybay woke up, and whispered, "Bye."

Soarin just smiled at his sleeping crush. How come he was the only one to think she was the most beautiful mare in the world? "Bye." he whispered back, and Hoop said nothing, but made his way to his house.

The two tired colts quickly set up a sleeping bag for Soarin and he fell asleep the second he lay down on it.

***

The doorbell rang, and Rainbow yawned and opened it, to a happy coltfriend.

"Hey Rainbow. Can I come in?" he asked.

"Sure." Rainbow replied, and she shut the door behind him.

"So how was your trip to Six Ponies?" he asked.

"Good, good. We rode everything. I wished you were there." Rainbow sighed.

"You know I don't like big coasters." Flashing replied.

Rainbow chuckled, "Oh, you're a big baby."

"Whatever. Whatcha wanna do today?" he asked, nuzzling his marefriend, "We can go to my house."

Rainbow looked at her coltfriend,

"Sure."

***

Things surely heated up over there. Or that's a term Rainbow would use. Right now, her and Flashing Skies were making out on his bed, which didn't squeak, unlike Rainbow's.

"You're an amazing kisser, you know that, right?" Rainbow asked, sighing in happiness as Flashing parted.

"Y'know, I might be amazing at something else, too..." Flashing gave a small smile, and a blush hit his cheeks.

"Oh, uh what?" Rainbow asked.

"You know what. How 'bout we give it a shot?" Flashing asked.

Rainbow looked away, "I don't know, I mean, what if we're caught...or if I get, y'know...pregnant..." she said quietly.

"I can use condoms, Rainbow." Flashing soothed, "You'll be fine."

"What if it breaks, though? I just don't feel ready... I'm not even fourteen yet, Flashing." Rainbow replied.

"You'll be fourteen in a few days, Dash! Come, on please?"  Flashing Skies asked.

"No..." Rainbow replied, "I just can't..."

"You have to." Flashing replied.

"Why?" Rainbow asked.

"Just do it for me, okay?"

"Flashing, I'm not comfortable doing this." Rainbow said, getting to the point.

"You'll be perfectly fine. Let's just do it." Flashing replied, beginning to get impatient.

"Sorry Flashing, but no, I can't. Can you just accept that?" Rainbow sighed.

"You're being ridiculous. You can do it, Rainbow. Everypony can. Just trust me, okay?" Flashing grumbled.

"No. I'm not going to. I'm sorry." Rainbow replied, assertively.

"Rainbow!" Flashing half-yelled.

Rainbow got out from under Flashing Skies.

"No. Y'know what, we're done!" Rainbow said, and began to walk out the door.

"What?! You're not-" Flashing began, but Rainbow didn't listen, and walked out of the front door.

"You heard me. We're done. Buck you. If you really loved me, you wouldn't of have pressured me into this. Goodbye!"

She slammed the door behind her, and casually flew away from Flashing Skies's home.

Caught In the Act

Rainbow cried into her pillow. She was the one to break up with Flashing Skies, but the reason why she broke up with him was the reason why she cried. He would've raped her if she didn't get out of the situation quickly, and fear struck her heart.

She wiped her tears. What could she do now? She didn't want to see anypony. She just lay on her bed thinking,

Who can be here for me now?

***

Volley rang the doorbell to Rainbow's house.

A very tired and need-of-shower RainbowKnight answered.

"My Celestia, Volley, you've grown. You're as tall as me now!" he exclaimed.

Volley just laughed, "Well, is Rainbow here? I want to invite her over."

"I think she's in her room. She didn't really want to talk to anypony when she came home. Can you see what's up with her?" RainbowKnight asked.

"Sure." Volley trotted up the stairs and knocked on Rainbow's door.

"Who is it?" Rainbow asked, and sniffled.

"It's me, Volley, Rainbow. Can I come in?" she asked.

A hesitant "Sure..." came from the other side of the door.

Volley opened it with a concerned face, "Hey, what's wrong?"

"I-I split with Flashing Skies." Rainbow stammered.

"Why?" Volley asked, "I thought you two were perfect for each other."

"He...he wanted me to have sex with him...I said no...but he kept pressuring me into it...and I had to leave, I just..." she hugged Volley and cried onto her, "I'm so scared...I would've gotten raped. I was smart enough to get out of it in time..."

"Shh, it's okay. He's a dick. He doesn't deserve you, Rainbow. Just always stay with somepony for a while, he might come for you." Volley said, concerned.

"What if...he tries to rape me? I'm terrified of him now..." Rainbow sniffled.

"Just take my advice, okay?" Volley asked.

"O-okay. T-thanks." Rainbow stammered again, "Sh-should I tell anypony else?"

"Tell your parents." Volley replied, "I'll be next to you. It'll be okay."

"They won't be home until my birthday. I don't want to tell them on my birthday." Rainbow replied.

"Then wait until the day after." Volley replied.

"Okay..." Rainbow sniffled, and looked at her friend,

"C-can I come over?"

***

Rainbow returned to her home, eleven at night. She locked the door behind her. A day with the mares had been refreshing, and made her forget about the day's earlier events. She hopped onto her bed, and fell asleep.

Rainbow awoke to the sun rays in her face. She sighed, and stretched her wings, and looked at her clock. 10:08.

She brushed her teeth, and combed her mane. She wasn't hungry, so she didn't eat, and instead, walked outside and enjoyed the sunshine, keeping yesterday's events at the back of her mind.

she heard a voice behind her,

"What's wrong?"

Rainbow jumped, and turned around to face Soarin.

"Oh Celestia, Soarin! You scared me half to death. And well...can you sit down?" Rainbow asked.

Rainbow explained what happened the previous day.

Soarin's eyes widened. "I'll make sure that never happens to you, I swear to Celestia! You know, I really care about you, and if something terrible ever happens to you again..." he wrapped his wing around her, "I think I'd die from worrying."

Rainbow just sighed, "What's up with ponies wanting to capture me, or rape me, this summer? It's just so irritating. I wish it would just stop."

"I'll be there for you the entire summer." Soarin replied, and smiled at her.

"Thanks. But what happens during the school year?" Rainbow asked.

"Let's not think about that. Let's think about now. Heh, y'know...I um...really like you, right?" Soarin asked, a blush going to his cheeks.

"Yes, and I'm really glad you beat him up." Rainbow laughed, and looked at the pony who had a crush on her.

Soarin stared back.

Rainbow knew exactly what was going to happen next; they were going to kiss.

And that sure did happen! Soarin went in for it, making no hesitations. It was a great moment... but Rainbow was not expecting her older brother to be opening up the door a second later.

RainbowKnight's jaw dropped at the sight.

"What the buck?!" he exclaimed.

Rainbow and Soarin quickly pulled away and stared in shock at RainbowKnight.

Soarin didn't know what to do. Should he run?

He just scooted away from Rainbow Dash and gave a nervous smile.

He then gave a terrified scream as she found himself pinned by RainbowKnight.

"The hell you think you're doing?!" RainbowKnight exclaimed.

"I-uh..." Soarin tried to explain. He just kissed RainbowKnight's little sister. That's basically all he did, and there was no way to escape from this.

Soarin was punched in the face by RainbowKnight's black hoof.

He yelped.

"RainbowKnight!" Dash cried from behind.

"Listen, kid. You stay the hell away from my sister. Got that?" RainbowKnight questioned.

"Uh..." Soarin replied, and in response, RainbowKnight punched him across the face again.

"I said got that?"

"Uh, y-yeah, um, yes sir!" Soarin stammered in pure fear, closing his eyes and tensing up.

RainbowKnight got off of Soarin and said, "Now get the hell out!"

Soarin made no hesitation, and with his sore face, he flew away.

RainbowKnight looked around for his little sister, but she was already gone.

***

"Whoa man, you got out of the friendzone!" Hoop cheered, "Good job."

"Uh...ice pack...please." Soarin said.

"Oh, sorry." Hoop tossed the ice pack he was holding to Soarin, which Soarin had caught, and he held it against his face.

"That's still bucking awesome, dude. Even if you got beat up." Hoop said.

"We can't see each other anymore. We're literally forbidden to see each other." Soarin replied, sighing.

"It's like Romeo and Juliet." Hoop chuckled to himself.

"Yeah, but they both die in the end." Soarin replied, "I don't want me or her to die."

"Who says her older brother is her boss, though? She can say she's going to Volleyball Spike's house and then actually be seeing you." Hoop said, letting out his idea.

"Well, I guess that's true." Soarin replied, and let his eyes look to the floor,

"But I'm worried about her...It's about Flashing Skies..."

***

Rainbow screamed into her pillow, and then sobbed.

Why, why did RainbowKnight have to ruin it?! she thought, That moment was so perfect...so perfect...I made Soarin's dream come true, and I realized Soarin is a thousand times better than Flashing Skies. And then motherbucking RainbowKnight...

She wasn't going to let her brother boss her around. Hell, she was going to see Soarin, and she was going to push him against the wall and make sure a good make out happened.

She kind of laughed, because she did shove Soarin against a wall before. It was in August, when eighth grade began.

"The hell you think you're doing? Leave me the buck alone. I'll punch you in the bucking face!" Rainbow hissed, as she held the annoying pale-blue colt against the classroom walls, "I swear, I bucking will."

She looked at her window. She could just fly out, right here, right now. Soarin had to be at Hoop's, right?

She pushed out the screen and let the summer air in. She spread her wings and took off, toward's Hoop's.

She landed, and was about to knock on the door, and then she heard,

"Would you look who it is? Oh Rainbow Dash, you look so beautiful today...I want to do things to you...come on... there's nothing to lose." A hoof went on Dash's shoulder.

Rainbow jumped back and saw the pony she least wanted to.

Flashing Skies.

"Get the buck away from me!" she cried.

"Dash, just agree to it, and we won't consider it rape, okay?" Flashing asked.

Rainbow took off.

How'd Flashing know she'd go to Hoop's?

She looked back, and saw her very horny and perverted ex chasing after her.

She screamed again. Where could she go?! If she flew back into her window, she couldn't close and lock it in time for Flashing Skies to come in, too. All she could do was fly, and hope Flashing Skies would give up.

Rainbow swooped and swerved, but wherever she went, Flashing Skies was behind her.

She was the faster flyer, but Flashing Skies would not give up.

Should she just give up? Just let Flashing Skies have her and do whatever he pleased to her?

No. Rainbow thought simply, and turned around, and hit her ex under the jaw.

"You stay the buck away from me!" she screamed.

But after her sentence, Flashing Skies launched himself to her and pulled her to the ground, behind trees, so nopony could see. He covered her mouth.

"I am going to have some fun with you, Dashie." he said, giving her an evil smile.

Rainbow cried. This was going to be worse than being Northway's model. She was going to be Flashing Skies's bucking sex slave.

Tears ran from her eyes as she was dragged away by the stronger pony. Not again. Her luck this summer was terrible.

She just closed her eyes, submitting, and hopeless.

"The house to myself. Recognize it, Rainbow? Let's get you set up." he smiled again, and threw his ex onto his bed, "Let's get this started, and went on top of his Rainbow, and smiled at her again, "I'll get to the real thing later. But right now, I'll just have a little fun with what you have down there."

"Oh hell no!" a voice exclaimed from behind.

Flashing Skies looked in confusement. What the hell?! Who could've gotten behind him?!

He turned around to see a very, very, very, pissed off colt. Oh shit, it was the blue one.

"What?! How'd you find me?!" Flashing exclaimed.

"I saw Dash being dragged, and you left the bucking door unlocked. I had my friend call the police, and now I am going to bucking kill you!" Soarin exclaimed.

Soarin attacked Flashing Skies, anger running him.

Rainbow rolled off the bed, and ran. She ran like she was running for her life. Well, she kind of was.

Soarin, on the other hoof, was beating Flashing Skies's ass. Flashing was already bleeding, and didn't manage to even hit Soarin yet. Soarin was more pissed off than when he saw Flashing Skies and Rainbow making out. He was ten times more pissed. And before he knew it, he knocked the rapist out cold.

***

Flashing Skies was taken to jail for attempted rape. Rainbow was uncomfortable with ever talking about it again, but she did express her gratitude by giving Soarin a make out session on his bed. Luckily, nopony walked in on them.

The summer began to fly by like an athletic pegasus.

It was no secret that Soarin and Rainbow had feelings for each other. But then it happened before one week of school.

"Soarin, I think we should take it down a notch for now..." Rainbow said.

"What do you mean?" Soarin asked, concerned.

"It's just...I don't want anything happening." Rainbow stammered.

"Oh Rainbow, you don't have to worry about that! I would never do anything without you absolutely wanting to." Soarin replied.

"It's just, the school year is going to start, and we'll be busy and stuff like that. Maybe we just should...put things on pause." Rainbow sighed, "Ten years, maybe?"

"Ten years! Damn Rainbow, that's a long time!" Soarin exclaimed, "But I guess if you're really comfortable with that..."

"It's just...I don't know. Hoop told me that one day we'd get married. And we'll be like, twenty-four in ten years. Out of college. We have plenty of time for each other." Rainbow replied, "I know, it sounds really stupid. But if it's really meant to be, then it'll be ten years."

Soarin smiled,

"Alright then. Ten years."

Ten Years Later

Rainbow gave Soarin a big kiss after the scare.

"You'll have to pause the movie, Dash, if you're going to make out with me." Soarin laughed.

Rainbow smiled, and took his advice.

"Y'know, I bet RainbowKnight still hates you."

"That was so bad... I thought I was going to die." Soarin replied.

Rainbow let herself lay atop of Soarin. "Well he's not here. Also, you should of seen all of the colts lining up for me in high school and college! None were good enough for me. I waited for this moment, though."

"Remember that one time where we got so impatient in freshman year of high school, we got so impatient that we made out behind the bleachers? And then we got caught by the principal? Memories." Soarin laughed.

"Yeah, how many detentions in a row did we get?" Rainbow asked.

"I think like, fourteen." Soarin laughed again.

Rainbow smiled,

"Well nopony is here to tell us that we can't do something. So let's do whatever we want. No principals, no brothers... heh, just you and me."
