But, once technology was discovered, unicorns stopped using magic to lift things once cranes were invented... and pegasi stopped flying once jets were invented. Those abilities were then used less and less and soon... they were forgotten."

"What about normal Ponies?" asked AJ.

"They're still tough. Why do you think you and Pinks are such good fighters?"

AJ smiled and nodded. "Makes sense..."

Just then, Dash's phone rang. She reached into her pocket and took it out, checking caller ID before putting it to her ear.

"Hey boss," she said. "Uh, we secured two trucks, but the third got away... and May was badly injured..." She then nodded "...Uh-huh... Well, Trixie used magic... That's right. Magic... Yes, well apparently it wasn't forgotten-- Wait, you knew?" she asked, before nodding. "Ah. Makes sense... Well, we'll get back right away with the money, ma'am..." She then smiled and looked down at May. "Yeah, thanks... I will..." She then hung up.

"Luna?" asked Twilight. "What'd she want?"

"Checking up on the job's progress... and said she hopes May gets better soon..."

Twi smiled. "She's pretty nice, huh?"

Dash nodded. "The best."

"So, what else did she say? She knew about the history of magic and flight being forgotten?"

Dash nodded. "Said, it was because if she's a gang leader that she should know what others don't..."

"Hmm..." said the purple mare. "I suppose that does make sense..." she said as an ambulance's siren could be heard rapidly approaching.

Dash looked back as Twilight stood up. An ambulance came into view and pulled up beside them, the back doors opened as two paramedics hopped out.

The third Mack truck pulled into a large garage as the doors shut behind it. Trixie started to climb down before losing her grip. She hit the floor with a grunt as her wand made a clattering noise as it fell from her hand. She groaned and reached out when her wand was suddenly surrounded in yellow magic. It then flew into the hand of a nearby figure. She was a yellow unicorn with red and orange hair. "Where we headed?" asked Twilight.
