Having shied away from the bright lights and power that came with his membership in the Royal Family, Harry chose his studies and isolation, allowing few ponies to enter his circle of trust as he searched for the secrets of his origins, the truth of his arrival in Equestria...

Now, if his blasted - but still beloved - mother would see reason and lift this silly grounding, he might be able to get back to work and make some bloody progress! Really. One teeny-medium-sized-who-was-he-kidding-gigantic explosion caused by his experiment, and suddenly he needed time away?! What the hay was that year long stay in the hospital, a cram session?

Fine. Whatever. A minor setback. Perhaps his mother was right and he needed some time to reevaluate his priorities, take in the country air and see his foalhood friend again. Maybe they could even study together, just like old times.

Of course, that's if he can survive the antics of this town's inhabitants, especially those of his dear, old friend and her little entourage of national heroines. His lifelong questions about the theories and practical application of dimensional travel are about to be tied, gagged and thrown in the backseat by a gaggle of mares who seem determined to break down his barriers and make him a part of their community.

The fact that his old study buddy is helping them has led Harry to a rather terrifying conclusion:

"I'm doomed."
