Morning arrived as did the royal guards. The castle was silent with Queen Celestia's sun rising in the the air, the light shone through the windows. All the residents of the small castle in the forest awoke. Starting with Discord.

He heard the clanking of the metallic armor the soldiers wore as he scurried to the base of his home, bumping into a couple tables and knocking over some of the decor here and there, to which he turned the entire place invisible. He heard the hoofsteps of his new guest and couldn't help but chuckle at her messy hair to which she tried to smooth down, only to make it get worse.

They shared a small laugh as her eyes turned toward the window Discord was looking out of and noticed a particular red stallion. Startled, she hid quickly behind her host.

He turned toward her, confused on why she was curling behind him.

She quickly backed away and blushed. "Oh.. I'm sorry, but it was just that stallion."

Discord got worried. What if she liked this stallion? He wouldn't stand a chance against him, but this is all for a plan, right?

He again shook off the thought, "Do you have a thing for him?" It sounded embarrassing to ask about a mare's love life and found himself blushing of embarrassment, as did Fluttershy.

She hid behind her wild hair, "Of course not, it's the other way around."

Discord was intrigued by what this mare had to say about the pony outside. He sat down, crossing his mismatched legs, "Tell me more."

While she told Discord about Big Macintosh proposing, he seemed to be entranced and listened to every word with the highest interest.

When Fluttershy finished her story, Discord had an idea to keep her here long enough to get her on their side. "How about you stay here until he gives up on his request?"

Fluttershy was uncertain about his question, "Do you mean stay at your residence?"

Discord smiled greatly, "Of course! My two servants can cater to your every need and you will be safe from that ungrateful stallion"

The pegasus then worried about her friends at her cottage. "What about my animals?"

Discord thought about it. Animals? Should I let her bring them? No, they will only pull attention away from us.

"I'm sorry dear, but Miss Rarity is allergic to animal fur. I'm sure they will be fine." He lied as he saw her face fall. He needed a way to turn her attention away from those animals of hers. "Here, I'll make some breakfast and I could give you a tour later."

To his relief, he saw her face lighten up as they walked down the hallway.
