Introduction

Alarms were sounding and explosions were heard. Screams were heard throughout the ship.

I tossed and turned on bed, Trying to muffle out all the noises. I snapped open my eyes and stared at the ceiling.

I was suddenly thrown out of my bed and onto the floor. Suddenly, My mother burst into the room, her eyes filled with terror.

I struggled to my hooves and looked up. My mother grabbed me and said " GET TO THE BRIDGE! ".

She let me go and I started galloping through the halls to the bridge. I looked to my right and saw a monitor. It had the picture of the ship on it.

I eventually reached the Bridge. I was suddenly sent down onto the floor as another console blew up. I saw my dad on the captains chair, giving out orders.

He looked over to where I was and he gave me a sad look. I looked out the forward window. I saw what was Attacking us. It was.... Some sort of ghost ship.

"I'M PROMOTING YOU TO FIRST OFFICER!" My father yelled at me. Suddenly another explosion threw me across the room.

My vision blurred as I fell to the floor. I had a foul taste in my mouth. Yup, sure enough, it was blood.

I struggled to my hooves and looked back out the window. Our ship had lots of holes in it. All I could think of was " WE'RE DEAD!".

Another explosion threw me across the bridge and I slammed my head on a console. The last thing I saw before blacking out was my father manually firing all weapons.

I suddenly woke up to voices. " I sure hope he's going to be alright " A voice said. I slowly opened my eyes. I heard a few gasps.

My vision was still blurry. I could see one figure standing right next to me. My vision cleared and I saw the figure was Princess celestia.

She smiled at me as if saying " Thank goodness he's alright "

I sat up in the bed. I took notice of my surroundings. I was in a medical bay On Equestria space dock.

" Your one lucky pony, Lightning " Celestia said. I gave her a look as if saying " DUH ".

I gott out of bed and strechted my legs. I looked out a window and saw our ship in drydock. I noticed shuttles heading to the hangar.

Princess celestia gave me a serious look. " Your father........ he died in the battle against the ghost ship " Celestia said " So now your the captain "

A tear left my eye and ran down my face until it fell off my face and hit the floor. I was happy, yet sad.

I turned around and she motioned me to come with her. She led me down several halls. We finally arrived at shuttle dock 7.

We started walking down the rows of shuttles. We found a shuttle that was not being used. We boarded the shuttle and she took control. She took off and headed out of the hanger and towards the drydock where my ship was.

We started flying towards the ship. I already knew the name of the ship. It was the U.S.S. STRIKE. She was a prototype Odyssey class cruiser. We headed for the hangar bay.

When we landed in the hangar bay, I exited the shuttle and proceeded to the bridge. On my way to the bridge I looked out my window and saw my Friend's ship. The U.S.S. SIRIUS was Out of it's drydock and waiting for my ship to leave the drydock. Celestia had briefed me on the situation when we ere in the shuttle.

My ship was the flagship of the fleet. I arrived at the bridge and took my seat in the captains chair.

I looked at my bridge crew. I had Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, and Rarity.

" Rainbow? " I called out. " Yes? " She responded.

" Release from the drydock " I ordered. We suddenly were released from the dry dock and we headed forward to meet with the fleet.

When we were with the fleet we were prepared to warp. " Punch it " I ordered to rainbow dash.

Suddenly, the engine roared to life. We started to move. Within a second, we were at warp.

Fleet trouble

I got up from the captains chair, feeling as if I was an old pony. I looked out across the bridge. I saw ponies trotting across the bridge holding clipboards. I groaned and started trotting towards my lounge. The door to the lounge opened and I trotted in.

I walked over to my desk and sighed. I took a picture of my father out of a drawer. I looked at it with sorrow. I thought about all the good times we had. I put the photo back in the drawer. I walked back out to the bridge.

" How long untill we reach the griffon fleet? " I called out to rainbow dash. " About 30 seconds " She replied. I went and sat back down in the captain's chair. I stared directly ahead, thinking about what we're going to face. I looked at Rainbow Dash. A drop of sweat was rolling down her forehead. I looked at a button right next to me. I decided to press it.

" ALL CREW MEMBERS, WE ARE ON RED ALERT, I REPEAT, WE ARE ON RED ALERT. " I said through the intercom.
Red alarms started flashing and sirens started wailing.

" out of warp in 3- " Rainbow Dash said, "2-1". We suddenly pulled out of warp in a war zone. I saw at least 10 griffon ships and only 5 PONYFLEET ships. There were beams firing everywhere. Suddenly, one of the PONYFLEET ships was destroyed. " EVAISIVE MANEUVERS! " I yelled. I noticed a chunk of debris was right in front of us. I closed my eyes and waited for the end. Nothing happened. All i heard was beams firing and crew yelling. I opened my eyes and saw that we dogded that chunk of debris.

" FIRE ALL WEAPONS! " I yelled. I saw our beams starting to hit the griifon ships. " Captain, a ship is hailing us. It seems to be the S.W.A.G Abyss " Rarity said. " Put them on screen " I said dully.

Suddenly, an image appeared on the screen. There was a black pony with a black and red mane in his capatins chair.
Suddenly a chunk of the roof came down and landed next to him. In the background I saw multiple fires. One of his officers yelled that his shields were at 47%. " This is captain Dark Lightning of the S.W.A.G Abyss " Dark Lightning said.

" This is captain Lightning Strike of the U.S.S STRIKE " I said. " WE NEED IMMEDIATE ASSISTANCE OVER HERE! i'M NOT SURE HOW MUCH LONGER WE CAN HOLD THEM OFF! " He shouted. Suddenly, the message was disrupted and some griffons were firing at us. " MAXIMUM POWER TO SHIELDS! " I yelled. Suddenly, a console blew up near me. A chunk of ceiling came down and crashed with a THUD, killing many ponies.

We kept our weapons firing on the griffon ships. I looked at a red button next to me. It said DO NOT PRESS! I ignored that warning and pressed the red button. A blue projectile was fired at a griffon ship, destroying it, but causing great damage to our ship. " Shields are at 42% sir! " Rarity yelled. I looked to another button. This one was yellow. I pressed it and suddenly our shields rose to a little bit over full capacity. I grinned as our ship continued to destroy griffons hips. One after another, the griffons ships fell until one remained, and that was the one attcking the S.W.A.G Abyss. I neared the griffon flagship and began to fire everything. The griffon flagship focused it's fire on my ship.

" FIRE THE FRIENDSHIP CANNON! " I yelled. Suddenly a rainbow beam shot out of my ship and destroyed the griffon flagship. I neared the S.W.A.G Abyss and this is what it looks like.

I hailed the ship and told my crew to beam over and help them repair the ship. An image appeared on screen and Dark Lightning had a few cuts on him but otherwise he was fine. He also had the hugest grin on his face. There was still debris and fire in the background. " You saved me and my crew's asses, so I am now forever in your debt. As you can see, we took a lot of hits during that battle. We shall begin repairs as soon as possible. " Dark Lightning said, rubbing his hoof on his chin.

" There's one thing I don't get. " I said, " why would the griffons attack now? They haven't attacked for many years. I am beggining to wonder if this is starting a whole new war .". " That's what's on my mind too " Dark Lightning said.

I looked at him with a serious expression and said " This is just the beggining of their attacks. ". " let's just get back to Equestria Space Dock " Dark lightning said. We both activated our warp cores and started warping back to Equestria Space Dock.

The collective part 1

I looked around at all the damage the griffons had caused. It was massive. There were many fires on the bridge and some pipes hanging down from the ceiling. My heart was beating extremely fast. If the griffons had attacked small fleet of PONYFLEET, there was no telling what or who they could attack next. I facehoofed at the thought of the griffons surrenduring. The griffons are ruthless, cold hearted beasts that show no mercy.

I looked out across the bridge. There were many ponies trying to put out the fires on the bridge. I have to report what the griffons have done. I could save millions of lives if I give out this information. We could be ready for griffon attacks. I brought out a picture of my father. I still can't believe he's gone. " I'll avenge your death, father." I whisepered to the picture. I put the picture down.

" 5 seconds untill be drop out of warp, captain." Rainbow Dash called out. I simply nodded and went back to thinking. I noticed another button on the chair. It was a blue button that looked suspicous. I'll figure out what it does later. We dropped out of warp and I looked ahead at Equestria Space Dock. I saw many miranda class cruisers in drydock. I slowly drove my ship into a docking area. I was a pro at docking ships. My dad let me dock the ship everytime we were going to dock. I requested to beam down to Equestria Space Dock. Permission was granted, and I beamed down. I looked around at my environment. I was in a hallway with other ponies, checking console's and hanging out. I trotted down the hallway, looking for any signs to the war room. I walked around for what felt like hours, yet it was only five minutes. I finally found the war room. I entered to war room with a grave expression on my face. All the talking stopped.

I walked over to a round table which everypony was sitting at. I sat down with a poker face on and prepared to tell the bad news. I looked at all the ponies around the table. There was Dark Lightning, Princess Celestia, Princess Luna, and some other random ponies. I took a deep breath and gathered my thoughts. I started speaking about what happened and what I saw at the battle with the griffons. As I got further into the speech, A few ponies started cowering in fear. By the end of the speech about what I saw, Everypony but Dark, Celestia, and I, were shivering and muttering something about a banana bag.

I looked at Dark, who simply shrugged. I looked towards Celestia, who had the best poker face in the universe on, simply looked at Dark and I and took a deep breath to announce something. " Lightning, that is terrible news." Celestia said. " But I have another mission for you. There have been reports of ships disappearing near a strange planet that was newly discovered. Take your fleet with you to the area. I want to know what's happening there." I thought far a second what she meant by my " fleet ". My fleet was destroyed in the battle with the griffons. I then knew what she meant. She meant that me and Dark were a fleet. I pondered that thought for a moment.

" Come on Dark" I said. Dark and I both got up and left the room. " Dark" I said " since your ship is in some need for repairs, your on my ship for now. Don't worry, I got an escort in the hangar. She's a good old escort. I used to fly It all the time." We continued walking down the hall untill be got to a transporter room. We both stood on the transportation pads and waited to be beamed to my ship. We suddenly got transported to our transporter room on the bridge. The bridge looked better since I left. All of the fire's were put out and most of the debris was cleared.

I went to go sit in my captains chair. I had another chair right next to my chair, so I motioned Dark to sit in the chair. He gladly sat down and I looked ahead. " punch it" I said to Rainbow Dash. She nodded and pushed a lever forward. suddenly, we started to accelelerate. We started getting faster and faster until we warped out. I shook my head and stood up. I don't get it I thought to myself I just gave celestia valuable information and she sends Dark and I out on a pointless mission? I slowly walked to my lounge. I looked around the lounge. I sighed and went to sit down in my chair. I sat down in my chair, feeling as if I were just some failure of a captain. I started to spin around in the chair. I just wanted to enjoy what time I had before we arrived at the strange planet. I stopped spinning my chair and I stood up.

I almost fell over because I was so dizzy. I stumbled out of my lounge and went back to my chair. I sat down in my chair and stared straight ahead. " Coming out of warp in 5 seconds, captain" Rainbow Dash announced. My left eye twitched when she said that. My eye usually doesn't twitch like that unless something bad is going to happen in the next hour. I shrugged that thought off. We came out fo warp in front of some green planet. " Captain" Applejack said " Ah'm pickin Up somethin huge off tha scanners." I put on my best poker face and I was about to say something very stupid. " Bring her about" I said. Our ship started to turn around. while turning around I noticed something cube like Right in front of us. Rainbow dash must've seen it too because she stopped us turning around and stared at the screen, mouth hanging open. I looked over at Dark and he was sweating like mad. " Mother of Celestia...." He whispered as he saw the cube.

" Captain." Rarity said " the cube is hailing us." I gulped and said " put them onscreen." A weird image appeared on the screen. There was nopony there. " you will lower your shields, and prepare for assimilation." a voice said. I stood up and took a deep breath. There was no escape. This was the end of us.

The collective part 2

Lightning's POV

I looked at Dark, who was looking at the screen with confusion. If I die I thought I will haunt the borg leader until IT dies. " This is captain Lightning Strike of the- " I got cut off. " We are the borg " The voice said " Surrender you vessel, and prepare for assimilation. " I started sweating and my heart starting beating faster. " I don't thi-" I was cut off again. " Resistance is futile. " The voice said. I was about to order my crew to open fire when out of nowhere, two ponies beam aboard. I raised an eyebrow and noticed something different about them. It looked like they were half pony- half robot.

I reached for a phaser out of my belt. I pulled it out and fired at one of the ponies. It had no effect on them. One of them raised their arms and prepared to fire. i looked right next to me and Dark had his phaser out too. I motioned for him to get to the escort and take off. He nodded and rushed out of the bridge and down the halls. I looked forward again and cracked my neck. Shit was about to go down, and I was the one who was gonna make the shit go down. " Come at me brony. " I said to the borg. They looked at eachother and nodded.

They put their arms' down and cracked their necks too. I grinned and cracked my hooves. I looked at the bridge crew and I motioned for them to stand back. All the bridge crew gathered into one massive group in a corner. One of them had popcorn and began to eat it. I looked back at the borg and started to charge at them.

Dark's POV

I was galloping down the halls, my heart beating extremely fast. I turned a corner and continued galloping. I hope I know where i'm going. I thought to myself. I turned another corner and saw a sign that said hangar. I started galloping even faster then ever. I rounded a corner and found myself in the hangar. I looked straight ahead and saw the escort. I ran on board and to the bridge. I entered the bridge and sat down in the captains chair. " TAKE OFF! " I yelled to the pilot. He nodded vigorously and pressed a few buttons. We began to rise until we almost hit the ceiling. We drove out of the hangar and waited behind the ship. I heard Lightning's voice somewhere. I realized it was coming from my combadge. " I held down a button on my combadge and said " Go ahead Lightning. " " DESTROY THE BORG CUBE NOW! " He YELLED.

I didn't realize why until I saw it. The borg cube was firing at the U.S.S STRIKE. The pilot must'vs heard because we imeddiantly started flying towards to cube. When we were in range I took a deep breath. ' FIRE ALL WEAPONS! " I yelled into the intercom. Suddenly, all of out weapons started firing. I looked down at the U.S.S STRIKE and it was firing some sort of purple beam at the cube. I looked back at the cube and I saw explosions everywhere on the cube. I realized what the purple beam did. It drained shields. We continued our fire until the borg cube blew up into green gases. We started heading back to the ship. I got up and started running down the halls of the escort. I finally arrived at the airlock door. I waited for our ship to land. As soon as the ship entered the hangar, I jumped out, without it landing yet. I hit the ground, but I used my fore hooves to soften the impact.

I ran out of the hangar and into the halls. I only had one thought on my mind and that thought was I hope Lightning held out against those borg.

Lightning's POV ( flashback five minutes)

I started to charge at them. I felt like I was a fool to try and fight these ponies in hoof to hoof combat. I threw my right fore hoof at one of the borg. My hoof had made contact with him buut it seemed to have no effect on him. He looked at me with an unamused face. I grinned weakly and gulped. He then grabbed me and threw me across the room. I hit a wall and slid down the wall. The impact had hurt my head a bit. My vision was blurred when I slowly stood up. I shook my head and the burr wore off. I started charging at one. I headbutten him which knocked him over a console and pressed a green button. I looked out a window and saw that a purple beam had emitted from my ship. I turned back to the pony, which had now gotten up. I kicked him halfway across the room. I silently cheered but my victory was short lived. I felt and metal touch on my back. I tensed up and slowly turned around. The borg pony had an arm phaser to my head. Well buck me sideways. I thought. I looked out the window and saw the borg cube blow up. The explosion rumbled the ship which knocjed me and the brog pony off our hooves.

I got up and was about to kick the borg pony's flank, and then iI felt a metal touch on my back. I turned around and I was face to face with the other borg pony. It grabbed my right fore hoof. It suddenly started tugging on my hoof. By the time I realized what it was doing, It had done it. I ripped off half of my right for leg. I screamed in pain. It threw my useless hoof behind him. My mind was screaming in pain. It looked behind itself and found a console. It broke the console and grabbed a piece of glass. It turned around a showed no emotion. I tried to crawl away, but it grabbed me by my tail and pulled me back. It turned me around and I whimpered. I took the piece of glass and stabbed it into my right eye. I lost vision in that eye and everything went black and white. I screamed in pain even louder than before. It let me go and watched me suffer. I crawled to a wall, the pain getting even worse every second. My heart started eating even faster. I watched my half leg bleed. I heard a door open. I looked over and saw Dark. I managed a weak grin. I them felt dizzy and fell to the floor. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Dark looking over at me, With a creeped out look.

Dark's POV

When i entered to bridge, I looked to my right and nearly threw up. I saw Lightning, Leaning up against a wall, half of his right fore leg gone, with a piece of glass stabbed into his eye. He then gave me a weak grin and slumped. Anger was raging inside me. I wanted grab both those borg ponies and rip them to shred's. I then looked to my left and saw The whole crew cowering in a corner. I facehoofed and looked back at the borg. I held up my hoof and thrunderbolts were dancing across my hoof. I gave the borg the most evil smile anypony could ever make. I shot Lightming out of hoof and it made contact with one of the borg. He instantly started spazzing out and then fell to the floor, unconscious. I looked towards to the other one and shot another lightning bolt out of my hoof. That borg spazzed out and fell to the floor unconscious. I lowered my hooves and blew to the smoke off of them

I instanly looked over a Lightning. I saw a pool of blood near his half leg. I trotted over to him. and felt his pulse. He was still alive, but barely. I put him onto my back and looked over to the bridge crew. " I need a senior medical officer. " I called out. A pony stepped out of the crowd and walked towards me. " Follow me. " I said. We bolted out the door and down the halls towards to sickbay. My coat might be getting bloody, But I don't care. He's my friend, and I don't abandon friends. We arrived at the sickbay and I lied him on a bed. The senior medical officer came over to his bedside and laid out a medical kit. He opened it and I saw a Robotical half leg, Some knives, Blood packets, tweezers, and an artifical red eye.

" Please go wait in the other room please. " He said to me. I shrugged and went to the other room. I saw a chair and sat down on it. I started at a clock on a wall. "3:07 Pm" it read. I sighed and closed my eyes to fall asleep.

I was being poked my somepony's hoof. " Get up." He said. I opened my eyes and found myself still on the same chair I fell asleep in. " The captain's alright, Dark." The pony said. I got up from the chair and he led me into the room Lightning was in. When I walked in, I gasped. Lightning was still in bed, but he was different. He had a robotic half leg that replaced his torn off one. It was a black metal replacment, with small red lights on it. I looked at his eyes and noticed his right eye was replaced with a black ball with small red pupil. His coat was still stained with blood. I looke at my back and I realzied my coat had blood on it too. I shrugged and went back to looking at Lightning. " He won't be waking up for at least 4 days. Until then, you can captain the ship." The pony said. I smiled weakly. " Celestia sent the ship a hail saying she's actually gonna authorize another ship just like this, built for you. It's gonna be top secret also. Only the crew of this ship and Celestia know about these prototype ships." He said. I grinned and left the room, lookung back at Lightning one more time. I found myself walking in the halls to the bridge. Everypony that I passed saluted to me. I entered the bridge and looked around. The blood puddle was cleaned up, and everything was back to normal. I went to sit down in the capatin's chair. I walked with swag to the chair. I sat down on the chair and grinned.

" Helm. " I said. " Yes ,sir? " Rainbow dash said. " plot a course for the delta cluster. " I replied. She nodded and began setting the course. I looked at the screen and saw the warp bar at the top. The bar started filling up until we started to accelerate. Our naucelles ( The ships engine stick things ) Glowed blue and we went to warp.

I wrote this chapter so long because I can. I also did it because I had extra time.

Back in action

I was in a white, endless room, With just me in there. I have no idea how I got here. Am I dead? I thought. I blinked my eyes a couple of times. I was still in the white room. I sat up and looked around. There was no end to this room. No door, no windows, and nopony was here. I stood up on all fours and groaned. I was trapped, in a white room, with nopony else. I wondered what I could do in here. I spread my wings out, and took flight. I could always try to do my electro-boom. I hovered in the air and pondered the situation.

I wouldn't know where the ground was, so It's probably not the best idea to try my electro-boom. Then again, I really want to try my electro-boom. I shrugged and started flying upwards. The wind in my mane, air flowing past me, I felt good. I continued upward until I figured this is as high as I should go. I stared downwards, Wondering what would it be like to pull off an electro-boom. I wish I had my goggles right now. Suddenly, goggles appeared on my fore head. I pulled them down to my eyes, and grinned. I started heading straight down, Speed increasing every second. I put my hooves out in front of me to make me more aerodynamic.

I noticed a cone started to form around me. The air was wizzing right past me. The cone started to become more arrow like. I pushed my wings as hard as I could, my heart beating very fast. In an instant, I proppeled forward, leaving a yellow taril behind me. I looked behind me and saw a circle of electricity spreading through out the room. I looked back at the white ground. I pulled up and started to slow down. My cone disspappeared and I came to rest on the ground. I sat down, and looked in awe at the trail and circle in had left. I was left panting, and I was in awe.

I lied down on the floor, and took deep breaths. For the next like, 30 minutes, I was resting. I finally had the energy to stand up on all fours again. I had the weirdest feeling, that I could stand up on my haunches. I slowly life my fore hooves off the ground and straightened out my body. I was just standing there, on two legs, my fore hooves at my side. This is awesome! I thought. I stepped forward, very carefully. I brought my other hoof forward. I tried doing it at a little faster pace, until I was walking like a human. I grinned and yelled " I am invincible!" I suddenly started seeing a familiar room. It was the sickbay on my ship. I wondered why this was happening. I noticed something a little bit odd about the room. I saw a pony, in a bed, with a robotic right fore hoof, and an artificial right eye. I realized something that made me shivver. It was me.

I awoke in the sickbay, my back aching with pain. I dared not open my eyes, but I must peek. I opened my right eye and then realized I was foolish for doing so. I opened my left eye and blinked once. My surroundings were normal. I was in the sickbay on my ship. I struggled to sit up in the bed. I looked to my right fore hoof and sighed. There was just a robotic hoof. I pulled myself out of bed, and onto two hooves. I could still walk on my haunches, pretty cool, right? I walked over to a computer and turned it on. A screen said, "eye identification please". I put my eyes up to the screen and it started scanning. " hello Captain strike, how may I assist you?" It asked. " where are we?" I asked. " We are currently in the delta cluster. PONYfleet sent us here to investigate the disappearence of ships in the area." The machine replied. I walked away from the computer and to the door to the halls. I ducked under the door on the way out, since I was still standing on my haunches.

I was walking down the hall, nopony to be seen. I walked by a door and it opened. A pony came out and stopped in her tracks. The pony was Rainbow dash. She raised her eyebrow and opened her mouth to speak.

" Captain, why are you out of bed and why are you walking on your haunches?" She asked. " Well first of all Lieutenant Rainbow dash, I'm going to the bridge." I replied " and second, Buck you, I do what I want." I walked past her and broke into a human run down the halls. I smiled* squee* and Whistled. I ran past many doors, and none opened. I came to a stop in front of a turbolift. I walked inside and pressed a button for the bridge. The turbolife started going up and elevator music started to play. I whistled while switching from hoof to hoof, preparing to run. The turbolife made a ding and the door opened. I walked out of the turbolift and saw many ponies staring at me, with raised eyebrows. I walked forward and to a very amused Dark lightning.

" Ah, Captain, I was waiting for you" Dark said. " What's the situation?" I asked. He pointed out a window to a disabled miranda class frigate.

" We need to investigate that ship, Captain." He said calmly." Our shuttles aren't working and our transporter room is under repairs. We can get to that ship by going out into space. Luckily, your new robotic hoof has a space suit installed into it. Just press this button here." He pressed a button on my hoof and metal started coming out of it. It started to cover my body, until my neck and head were the only things that were able to be seen normaly.

I pressed the button again and the remaining part of me was covered. the helmet had a visor to look out, and light was coming out of the visor, so I could see in dark places.This is what it looked like.

I noticed a hole in a wall in a bridge where a force field was preventing stuff from being sucked out and to keep air in. I looked back to him, but he was gone. I looked at the force field again and he was there, in a space suit that looked like mine. He motioned for me to come over there. I walked over there, still walking on my haunches. He walked out onto the hull of our ship. I walked out and my suit said " Entering space." I tried to walk, but my suit slowed me down so I could stay on the hull of our ship. I walked over the him and looked over at the miranda. It wasn't as nearly as big as out ship, but It was still pretty big.

Dark jumped off the hull and jets started coming form his haunches. He directed himself in the direction of the miranda, and started off towards the miranda. I gulped and jumped off the ship. I positioned myself in the direction of the miranda and proppeled forward. I looked back to our ship and noticed it getting farther away. Celsetia was walking down a hall, shaking her head. I promised myself that I would build only one odyssey class starcruiser She thought But then again, the fate of the universe rests on two ponies' hooves She stopped in front of a door. " TOP SECRET. AUTHORIZED PERSONAL ONLY" She put her hoof on a pad and the door opened. When she entered the room, she saw one person ( TAKE NOTE I SAID PERSON ) standing near a window. Her hooves clopped against the metal floor, making sounds anypony or anyone could hear.

" I'm going to have to have another odyssey built, now." Celestia said with a calm expression. The human turned around and shrugged. " Yes princess celestia." The human said. HUMAN'S INFORMATION

Celstia went to the window to see what he was looking at. When she got there, she gasped. There was another odyssey there. " What" Issac said " sometimes you gotta be prepared." Celstia put out her hoof. Issac bumped her hoof with his fist. " I can give you a tour of the ouside of the ship." Issac said " just lemme get my shuttle ready."

He left the room and left celestia there, to wait for his shuttle to warm up. 5 minutes passed and he came back in the room. He motioned for celesia to come. Celestia trotted over to the door and entered Issac's shuttle room. In the room was a single shuttle.

They boarded the shuttle and celestia went up front by the window. Issac sat down in the helm's seat and closed the shuttle door. He pressed a button and the shuttle roared to life. They rose off the ground about 7 feet and the hangar door opened. " I also have another odyssey in construction, princess." Issac stated. They went closer to the odyssey, and then turned around. " WHAT THE HECK MAN!" celestia shouted. " Hold on, It's for dramatic effect." Issac replied. He grinned and started playing some music.

EPIC STUFF OF WHAT THEY SAW

Celestia got out of the shuttle, her mouth still hanging open from what she saw.
She turned towards Issac, and tried to speak, but no words came out of her mouth. Issac had the craziest grin on his face, and he doesn't grin that often.

"Shall I get that ship to Dark's location, princess?" Issac asked.

"Yes, we need that ship to get to dark's location now." Celestia replied " I have a feeling him and Lightning are in danger."

Issac nodded and beamed to the odyssey. Celestia watched out the window, waiting for the odyssey to leave. After about 10 minutes of waiting, it began to leave. The ship moved slowly and turned horribly, yet the ship was a warship, with beams so powerful, that at full power, they could destroy half of russia on earth. The bay doors opened and the odyssey left ESD for the first time. All other ships were docked until it left.

Celestia went to the other side of the room where another window was. She watched the odyssey pull away from the station. The odyssey's naucelles began to glow, and In the next second, the ship went to warp. Celestia sighed and walked to a panel that held the odyssey's information.

Celestia got up and left the room, dimming the lights. What she didn't know, was that both of those ships are overkill.

AGAIN BORG? REALLY?

I was still space jumping over to the abandoned Miranda. I was still looking ahead, to notice the hangar was coming in fast. I slowed down a bit and hovered outside the hangar. I decided it wouldn't be fair to let Dark go in alone. I entered the hangar and slowly descended to the ground. My hooves touched the floor a little bit too fast. I fell over chuckled. I pulled myself off the floor and took a look around.

The hangar was a disaster. There were shuttles on fire everywhere and alamrs were going off. My helmet went down and I brought in some air. I regretted that idea, because the air I breathed in was smokey air. I saw Dark over near a door, waiting for me to get my flank over there. I galloped over there and got on the other side of the door. " Here's the plan" I said " We get to the bridge and check the ship's logs. Maybe the logs will have some information on what has happened."

Dark nodded and went through the door. Once we got through the door, his helmet came down. He continued down the hall, and I followed. While walking, I noticed writing on a wall. It looked like it was written out of blood. It said: ' TURN BACK NOW! THE THREAT YOU FACE IS THE BORG! THEY ARE MORE POWERFUL NOW! YOU MUS...." The message cut off there. The poor pony must've been dragged away by the borg. We turned a corner and nearly lost our lunch. There were dead ponies everywhere. I dropped to my Knees on my haunches and banged my hoof against the ground in frustration. I got up and decided to check one of the bodies. One of the disruptor burns was still hot. This pony was killed only minutes ago. I took out a flashlight and examined the ponies face. When I did that, I dropped the flashlight and cursed. The pony was assimilated. He had borg tech all over him. I touched his face and he jerked. I jumped back and slammed into a wall. The drone got up and aimed a disruptor hoof thing at me. I rushed forward and pushed him against a wall. I held both of hois hooves back while also kneeing him. He threw me off of him and shook his head.

I fell to the ground, but instantly got back up. I rushed him again, this time, giving him a good hoof to the face. The drone dropped to the ground, lifeless. I stepped back and took a deep breath. I looked to my right and saw Dark examining a computer log. on the computer log I saw ponies running for their lives, Borg drones shooting like mad, and something odd. I saw my ship come out of warp in a window. Just then, the log went to static. Dark cursed and Pressed onward. The next five minutes were unusually quiet.

There was only the sound of fire crackling and wires sparking. Our hooves made deep clopping sounds on the metal floor. We turned down another corridor where we found a sign that led to the bridge. We followed it until we arrived at a turbo lift.

We entered the turbo lift and something came over the intercom. What started playing sent chills down our back.

The song that started playing,

We both looked at eachother with worried expressions. Dark gukped and pressed the button that said " BRIDGE". On our way up to the bridge, the elevator broke down. It became very dark. We both started shaking in fear. The lights came back on, and our journey continued.

I heard a ding and the door opened. The lights were on in the bridge, so we sighed in relief. We both out on a poker face like this:

We walked out of the turbo lift and our poker faces faded. What we saw could never be described. It was the most horrifying, gruesome stuff you could ever imagine. There were a bunch of dead ponies, all being assimilated by the borg.

EPIC FIGHTING MUSIC

I cracked my hooves and closed my eyes. I was about to call upon the power of the great gods of strike. I opened my eyes a grinned. My anger was focused and I was in control of almost everything. The borg started walking towards us. Dark started charging up his hooves. I motioned for him to stand down. I began to chant: " OH MEH USTE TE TO POWAH TYE STRIKE!" My voice echoed across the room, blowing many borg drones back.

I felt the power of One million ponies inside of me. Two swords made of lightning appeared in my hooves. A borg charged me, but he was too late. I ran up and sliced him in half, leaving blood on my hooves and face. More borg started charging. I rested my swords on the ground, waiting for them to strike.

My ear twitched and in an instant I had cut one Drone open. The others continued their press. My refelxes were too good for them. I swung my swords around behind me, killing two drones. I ducked down, and brought my swords' upward and slicing three drones. I started spinning my swords in circles, killing more drones than anyony ever, could. I stopped spinning my swords and grinned. All the drones were still there. Suddenly, the drones started to slide apart, fallng onto the floor. I then looked towards what looked like the leader. I threw one sword down and waited. The leader must've gotten curious of what I was doing, so he let his guard down.

He made the wrong choice. I ran and jumped up and over a console. Everything went in slow motion. My sword drew closer and closer to the leader's face. My sword pierced his face in super slow-motion, making blood go everywhere. Time went normal again, and all the borg were dead. My swords vanished and I felt normal. I turned around and saw the borg leader still alive.

I went over to his face and gave him a grin. I shoved my hoof into his face, killing him instantly. I heard a gasp and I instantly knew why. I turned around just in time to see another drone, about to sink a fluid into my body. I caught his hoof, but he was overpowering me. The shot drew closer to my neck. It got a bit too close, and the fluid was being injected into me.

" AAAAGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!" I cried out. the drone took the shot out, but then Dark shot the drone with atleast 15000 volts of electricity. The drone fell dead to the floor, and made a thud as it hut the floor.

Dark rushed over to me and put his tricorder near my chest. He winced when he saw something on the tricorder screen.

" Awww crap" Dark muttered. " Looks like that THING injected you with some sort of borg fluid that'll chang you into a borg." I stood up shakily and took a deep breath.

" We are the borg, lower your shields and surrender your ship. We will add your biological and prepelogical distingtivness to our own. Your culture will adapt to service us. Resistance is futile. I said in pain and some sort of weird voice.

I grasped my head and started beating myself. " AAGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" I cried out. " GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I fell onto the floor and started spazzing out. Dark bent over me and started shaking me. " SNAP OUT OF IT!" Dark yelled.

I returned to normal and Dark looked at me funny. " Yo Lightning?" Dark said " You alright?". " Never better" I said. I got up and cracked my back.

I pressed my comunicator and spoke into it " Away team to STRIKE, Two to beam back" " one moment captain" I heard Rainbow Dash say. " We're still havin a bit of trouble with it." I sighed. A blue ring started to form around us and we started to change environments.

I found myself standing in the transporter room of my ship. I grinned and walked off the pad.

What i'm hearing in my head: " TIME TO ASSIMILATE MY YOUNG DRONE!" The queen of the borg commanded.

Preview of a future chapter

I sat in my ready room, waiting for a pony to walk in. The borg queen was still in control of 90% of me. Nopony noticed that one of my eyes in a bit red. The voice of the queen was controling me, forcing me to take out my own crew. For goodness sakes, I almost killed rainbow dash.

" YOU ARE BORG!" The queen's voice shouted through my mind " YOU WILL ASSIMILATE!" I started to reach out for a knife that was across my desk. I tried to reach my hoof over there, but the queen took control and made me go back to sitting.

A pony entered the room. " Captain?" The pony asked " May I have a word with you?"

" Sure, why not" I replied. The pony sat down in a chair on the other side of the table. I felt a pain in my chest. The borg nanites were working. They would take full control of my body within the next couple of hours. I had two options: I could kill myself or I could inject a deadly vaccine into me that could get rid of the nanites or kill me.

" Sir" The pony said " Are you feeling alright?"

I tried to tell him that borg nanites were in me, slowly killing me/ taking over but the queen made me say something different.

" Resistance is futile" I calmly said. The pony got up from his seat and started gasping for air. " Oh crap" The pony said " The captains becoming borg" He tried to run out of the room but I jumped over my desk and landed on him. The pony looked me in the eyes and he understood what was going on in my mind.

I took my right hoof and some tubes came out of it. I slowly started to put my hoof closer and closwr to the pony's face. He threw me off him and got up and ran out of the room.

------------OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM---------------------

The pony came running out of the ready room with a grim face. " What's wrong?" Asked Dark, who just seemed to be at the right place at thr right time. " THE CAPTAINS BECOMING BORG!" The pony yelled as he ran past Dark. Dark's eyes widened and his mouth hung open. He ran into the ready room where I was.

He saw me on the ground, having massive twitches. Dark quckly looked towards the table where I always kept my knife. He ran over there and picked it up. He brought the knife over near me and he bent down. " I'm sorry Lightning" Dark muttered. " But you'd want me to do this." Dark raised the knife and started bringing it down above me. He started bringing the knife down even faster. Just as the knife was about to pierce me......

The beggining of the end

So there our ship was, in a field of orange gas, with nothing else around us. Shields' were raised, beams 'powered up, and torpedos' were loaded. Our odyssey class cruiser was the best ship the federation could build.

I stood near my chair, waiting for the borg. I knew they were here because I could sense it. I came to avenge my father's death, and I wasn't leaving. The crew was afraid, anxious, and worst of all, about 10% of the crew were injured.

I had my eyes closed, and static was dancing across my hooves. I was completely focused. I then felt a disturbance in the area. My eyes snapped open and I knew, that they were here.

" RAINBOW!" I yelled " FULL POWER TO STARBOARD ENGINE!" She nodded and merely pressed a button. Our ship pitched to the side, making all of our crew stumble.

A borg cube whirreled past us and threw our ship of course. My eyes opened wide in realization what was happening. " FULL POWER TO THE PORT ENGINES! " I yelled. Our ship pitched to the other side, and another borg cube whirreled past us.

I cursed and started running to the helm. " Let me control the ship, rainbow" I calmly said. Rainbow got up and I took the seat. I put my two fore hooves on the console. I moved my left hoof forward, and the ship went right and forward at the same time. The same thing would happen if I moved my right hoof forward, but I'd go left. I Pushed both my hooves left and the ship threw itself to the left.

A borg cube went right above us and scared the whole crew. More cubes started coming past, throwing our ship around like a toy. I got thrown from my seat and landed near Rainbow. The shaking stopped, and all was quiet. The steadily rose to my hooves and cracked my back.

I shook my head and ran back to the helm. I sat down in the seat and pushed my hooves forward. Our ship started to accelerate, going faster and faster. " WARP FACTOR 5" The console read.

I got up from the helm and stormed out of the bridge. I stood in a turbolift, my eyes watering. There was something wrong with my mother. I punched a button and the turbolift started going down. I wiped a tear from my eye, knowing that all I had ever known, might be lost sometime later. I heard a BING and the turbolift door opened. I stomped out of the turbolift and started walking down a corridor. I pushed crewmen aside in my rage. I felt my heart pumping fast. I neared the sickbay. I punched through the sickbay door and headed toward a room that my mother was in. I gentely opened the door, hoping to be sneaky, but my mother always knows when I enter the room she's in.

She was lying in a bed, looking terrible. The borg had almost assimilated her, luckily I saved her.

She looked at me standing by her bedside, tears in my eyes. " There's no need to be sad my young colt" She said weakly. She looked like a borg, but she was still in control.

" But your dying mother" I said " I don't want you to die.".

" I must go on" Mother said " I must go on to see your father. I need to tell you something." I leaned in closer to hear what she must say. " You must reunite the pieces of strike" She whispered. I pulled away, and sighed.

She gave me one last look, and then her head slumped back into the pillow, her eyes staring at me like glass. Something dropped out of her hoof and landed near my hooves. I looked at the small object with curiosity. I picked it up and inspected it. It appeared to be.... Could it be? Could it be the key to winning this war? No wait... It's just a picture of My mother, my father and I at our house back in equestia.

I fell to the knees of my hind hooves and put my fore hooves on the floor. THE NANITES! THEY'RE TAKING OVER! I started seeing things that I didn't want to see. Equestia, burnt to the ground. The whole entire universe, controlled my the borg. My friends', Assimilated. I fell onto my back and I heard that awful voice in my head. I suddenly saw about 100 years in the past. It was some sort of memories with music. It was how the federation defeated the borg the first time. All the things that happened, but In about 4 minutes.

My vision started fading to the memory..... '

Dark's Pov

I was on my own ship. The newest odyssey in the fleet. I was in warp right next to Lightning's ship.

I decided to go over there to see what was going on. What I was about to do, was a gave mistake. I had a transporter built into the back of my bridge. ( Lucky Pony aren't I?) I walked over to the transporter andstood on a pad. My chief Transporter officer shrugged and beamed me over to Lightning's ship.

I found myself in his transporter room. ( Which is right next the sickbay) I walked out of the transporter room and to the sickbay. I heard some weird noises coming from the sickbay. I noticed the door was bashed open. Apparently, Lightning had a rage attack. I walked in and looked to my left. I saw the room which his mother was in. I walked in and didn't bother to look on the ground. I saw Lightning's mom dead in the bed.

I saluted for a solid minute and felt a liquid on my hoof. I looked down and saw Lightning on the floor, foam coming out of his mouth, and he was staring at the ceiling. ( WHY DO THESES THINGS ALWAYS HAPPEN?!) I jumped up and held my position in midair.

What in the hay am I supposed to do now? I don't know.

I found myself on a cold metal floor, my head hurting. I opened my eyes to see Dark standing above me. 1000 thoughts were going through my head.

" You alright Lightning?" Dark asked. " I'm fine" I replied. Dark put a hoof out. I grabbed his hoof, and he pulled me to my hooves.

" We have two other captains waiting to speak with you about the borg threat" Dark stated. " Oh great" I said " Another long explanation about what the Buck has been going on.". Dark shrugged and led me out of the sickbay. We turned right down a corridor to the meeting room. The clop of our hooves were the only sound in the hallway. We passed many doors and windows until we finally arrived at the meeting room. Right outside the door, Dark and I took a deep breath and walked right in. Light in the room was blinding our view. All we could see were 2 Sihlouettes standing in the room. My heart was pounding and I started to breath faster. A drop on sweat came off my brow.

I was always deathly afraid of meetings. I hated them more than lima beans.

The Doctor?

I stepped into the meeting room and saw two figures standing there. They apperently were humans.

The door closed behind me, leaving the four of us in this room. The area where the two figures were standing was dark. The two figures stepped forward and I recongized one of them. The figure of the left was Vice Admiral Issac Bondy. The figure on the right, I couldn't identify.

" So" I said " We got a borg situation on our hands or hooves right now". " I assumed so" Issac said. I walked over to a seat on the left end of a table and sat down. " Computer," I said " One cup of coffee.". A cup of coffee materalized right before my eyes, and which of course, the cup was right in front of me. The others took seats and They waited for me to say the first words of this meeting.

" Who are you?" I asked the other figure. " My name is kent." The figure replied. Seems legit I thought. I picked up my cup of coffee and took a sip. " Anyway," I said " We can skip the introductions, I just want to get this over with."

" May I ask one question?" Kent asked. " What is it?" I replied."' What happened to your eye and hoof?" Kent asked. My eye twitched a small amount and I sighed. " It's a long story," I told kent " Dark will tell you later."

I brought my coffee up to take a sip, but then the coffee spilled in my face, due to a rumble that shook the ship. " IT BURNS!" I screamed. I fell out of my chair and onto the floor, where I lay, swearing and holding my face. Kent let out a small chuckle, but then got interrupted due to Issac slapping him.

Dark on the other Hoof, somehow managed to have a bucket of cold water on hoof ( I don't know where he got it from) poured it on my face. I stopped my swearing and the holding of my face and instead got up and went over to a panel in the wall. I pressed a button on the panel and said " What was that rumble?" Rarity's voice responded throught the panel which said " I don't know sir, But there was an unauthorized usage of the transporter. I think you should go check it out."

" I'll go check it out" replied. I released the button on the panel and trotted over to the door. It wouldn't open, which was strange. I sighed and tried to pry it open. The door wouldn't budge, so I backed away from it and groaned.

There was a panel on another wall, right next to the door. I slammed my hoof on it, and it brought up video feed of what was going on outside the door. I saw several security officers firing their phasers at something out of the camera's vision. I turned the camera and saw klingon warriors marching down the hall firing their disruptors, killing man security officers. I backed away from the panel and galloped to a window. I saw two klingon negh' var warships just outside the window.

I backed away from the window and turned to Dark, Kent and Issac. " We're screwed" I announced. Issac Facepalmed and Kent and Dark both slammed their hands/ hooves down on the table, cracking some glass.

" Hello" I heard a voice come from behind me. I turned to the camera panel and saw a klingon standing there. He had and eyeptch over his left eye, and a scar across his right cheek. His hair was combed back, as if he were going to a fancy dinner. " Who in the name of celestia are you?" I asked, disgust in my voice. " My name is b'ka." The klingon replied.

" As you can see, I have you trapped," B'ka said " and that's not all i'm doing. I'm also draining the life support from that room, giving you 10 minutes. Say your goodbyes, because your gonners." He then shot the camera with his disruptor, making the camera go offline.

" What're they trying to do?" Kent asked Issac. " They're trying to make Lightning angry, while at the same time trying to kill him and us" Issac replied.

I turned around and face them all. " The klingons have made their second mistake because I'm not going to let this happen," I said " I'm sorry we're all dead in this room, but whatever happens, the klingon's are going to be sorrie."r ( I'm tired, please excuse my spelling) " But we're trapped, and about to die" Dark said. " Ya," I replied " and you know what speaking of traps, this trap has a great big mistake in it, A great big whopping mistake."

"What mistake?" Dark asked. I ignored Dark's question and turned to Issac. " You trust me?" I asked Issac. " Ya" Issac replied. I asked that same question to Kent and Drak and they said yes." Then give me your phaser" I said to Issac. He handed me his phaser. " I'm about to do something increibly stupid and dangerous," I said " But when I do, grap something that's implanted in the floor on my signal." " What signal?" Kent asked? " You won't miss it." I replied.

" Sorry," Dark said " Can I ask again? What's the mistake?" " A big, big mistake," I announced " Really huge. Didn't anyone ever tell you there's one thing you never put in a trap if you're smart, If you value your continued existance, if you have any plans on seeing tommorrow, there's one thing you never, ever, ever put in a trap."

" And what would that be?" Dark asked. Everyone looked at me, with sweat on their eyebrows. " Me" I said plainly. I shot the phaser at a window and the glass broke, sucking air into space, which, if you were standing in the back of the room, you would've been sucked out to space. I grabbed onto and edge of the table and hung on for dear life. Dark, who was right next to me lost his grip and started to get sucked out to space. I realeased my left hoof from the table and grabbed Dark by his mane. " Unlocking door. The computer said. The suction that was pulling on us stoppped and we fell to the floor, breathing heavily.

I threw my right hoof onto the table and dragged myself to my hooves. I let go of Dark, who was scared shitless, just like everyone else except for me. I helped Dark up to his hooves. I trotted over to a clothes replicator and input a request. As fast as lightning, a new outfir was there. It was a white collered shirt with a bowtie and a brown vest. I threw those clothes on while everyone was recovering. Dark was the first to notice my new clothes.

" Why're you getting clothes?" Dark asked. " Since it might be the end of the space time continuum as we know it, I want to look good." I replied. Dark facehoofed and started to head out of the door to the hallway. I left the room after him and Kent and Issac followed. I looked to right, which was towards the bridge. There were dead ponies and humans eveywhere. I lowered my head and whispered " I'm going to wipe every single klingon from the existance of time after this."

Dark must've heard me because he looked at me funny. I stared at him with my cold, purple eyes. He must've got the idea to look forward and not bother me. We passed many, many doors and broken walls until we came to the turbolift to the bridge. We all got in and I slammed a button to take us to the bridge. Some stupid elevator music started playing, which made my mood even worse.

Our turbolift stopped and I stepped out first. Sitting in the captains chair was B'ka. " THE DOCTOR WILL SEE YOU NOW. I politely shouted. B'ka turned the chair around and gasped. " How... How are you still alive?" He asked me. " That's not important right now," I said " Good ponies don't need rules. Today is not the day to find out why I have so many."

" Why are you wearing a bowtie?" B'ka asked me. " Bowties are cool," I said " And you haven't been the first to attack this ship." At that moment, a hologram appeared right in front of me, showing all the things that tried to attack this ship. " You haven't been the first to try to take this ship," I said " Oh there have been so many, so many, but what you've got to ask yourself is, what happened to them." I stepped thorugh the hologram, making it shut off. " Hello," I said " I'm the doctor."
Play for maximum affect

B'ka stumbled back and started saying 'no' over and over again. " Basically," I said, pausing for maximum affect " Run."

B'ka beamed back over to his ship and so did his officers. I walked over to a window to look out of and All I saw was them warping out. I turned around and yelled " WHO'S THE PONY?". I got no response from them. " I'm never gonna say that again" I muttered. I saw all of the bridge officer huddled in a corner Whispering among themselves.

" What do you mean by 'The Doctor'? Dark asked. " I'll show you" I told him. I stumbled over to an analyzer which scanned me. " You are not of this universe" It said. I turned around and saw their faces. Dark's jaw dropped to the floor and Kent had passed out onto the floor while Issac remained calm.
YOU CAN STOP THE MUSIC NOW.
" So..." Dark said " You're not a pony? WHAT ARE YOU!?" I slumped onto the floor and said " I knew this would happen"

"SERIOUSLY!" Dark yelled " WHAT IN EQUESTRIA ARE YOU?!" " A time lord" I replied, with sadness in my voice. " A time lord?" Dark asked. "Yes Dark," I said " I am infact a Time Lord" I then heard a familiar noise. My head shot up and I saw the TARDIS ( It looks like a 20th-21st century police box) Appearing in the center of the room. Dark stared at in shock and awe. The TARDIS fully appeared and out stepped the Doctor.

" Uncle!" I yelled. I shot up to my hooves like a rocket and started running towards him. Dark the noticed something about my right cutie mark. He squinted his eyes and gasped. It was an hour glass just like the Doctor's cutie mark. I had hugged my uncle and looked at him.

" Well...." I started " It's been a long time since I've seen you." " It's been a really long time hasn't it?" the Doctor replied. I stopped hugging the Doctor and then turned around. Dark was standing there with a look of sadness on his face. " You have to go?" He asked me. " Buck no" I replied. His sad gaze turned into a joyfull one. " Wanna come see the inside of the TARDIS?" I asked him. All Dark could do was nod and come flying towards us.

AUTHORS NOTE: DOCTOR WHO AND STAR TREK? I DO IT LIKE A BOSS. I'M ALSO REALLY TIRED FROM WRITING THIS CHAPTER. ALSO CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR TWO NEW OC'S. BEEN WATCHING A LOT OF DOCTOR WHO LATELY AND I THOUGHT I NEEDED TO COLLIDE THE TWO UNIVERSE'S.

Trying to Unwind

Dark, still propelling himself towards me, slowed down a bit and soon came to a stop about 5 hoof-steps away from me." How are we all going to fit in there?" Dark asked me. " You'll see." I replied. I turned around and opened the doors to the T.A.R.D.I.S. and motioned Dark into in. Dark gave me a funny look. He peeked his head inside the T.A.R.D.I.S. and gasped. He stumbled back and starting inspecting the Box, Going all the way around it, letting his hoof glide across the wooden surface. He gave me a confused look and opened his mouth, but no sound came out. I shrugged and stepped on inside the T.A.R.D.I.S. and looked around at everything. The main control room was still the same, except the lights were dimmed a bit.

I walked a little further, Up a metal catwalk, and up to the main console. Dark had now walked in behind me and had his breath taken away as he looked around the T.A.R.D.I.S. and "Oooo" And " Ahhh" 'd. Dark walked a bit further and stopped right beside me. " So how exactly is this thing bigger on the inside?" Dark inquired. " Timelord technology." I replied. The Doctor had now walked in the T.A.R.D.I.S. and had closed the door behind him. There was no other sounds that could be heard except for the clopping of the Doctor's hooves and the hum of the T.A.R.D.I.S. and my ship combined.

I sat my flank down on the metal floor and put one hoof on the main console. " I know." The Doctor said out of nowhere. " Know what?" Dark inquired. " That Lightning's Father died." " How? No pony told you." Us Timelords have a special link to any other Timelord alive. We can sense eachother, not matter where we are in the universe. I felt my brother's link fade away and I instantly knew he had died.".

The room went quiet again, not a sound to be heard. " I know how stressed you are." The Doctor said to me. I didn't respond. " You deserve some rest." He continued. " Just calm down and everything will be okay, I guess.". " Yeah, I guess." I responded. " You need to find a garden. Just Relax in that garden and enjoy nature." Dark suggested. I didn't respond that time. " Garden.. Garden... Where's a good garden?". I hear the royal garden at canterlot is nice this time of year." Dark responded as quick as a whip. " That sounds good. I haven't been there in years." I replied.

I stood up and ran around the console, flipping switches and pulled levers and pushing buttons. Dark and the Doctor were just watching me, dumbfounded. I pulled one final lever and the T.A.R.D.I.S. started producing a noise as it shook. I held onto the console a small smile spreading across my face. " So, is the shaking and the noise normal?" Dark asked. " Eeyup." I responded.

The noise and shaking had stopped. I turned to Dark, who was Chuckling at a joke the Doctor had just made, which I had not heard. " Here we are." I announced. Dark simply nodded and stopped leaning on a rail which he had been since about 2 minutes ago. I turned around started trotting down the catwalk to the door. I pulled on the door and it opened and celestia's sunshine filled the T.A.R.D.I.S. and warmed my face. I stepped out side the T.A.R.D.I.S. and looked around the garden. " Ahh, yes... this is pretty nice..." I said before I was interrupted by a familiar voice. "HEY YOU! Get that blue box out of the royal garden! That's where I keep my stone ponies! Oh, and that one god that has the power to destroy the fabric of time and space's order." My Iris's became really small to almost the point where they were very small dots as I turned to face Princess Celestia. " Oh, and one more thing..." She said "Uh..." I mumbled "You're standing in my poison joke crap.". I took my left fore hoof out of the poison joke which I had not noticed I'd been standing in. I looked at my hoof and whimpered.

----20 minutes later, back on my ship---

I was in my room under a blanket, with only my tail sticking out. The blanket was in the middle of my room. Dark, The Doctor, Issac, And Kent were all sitting on a sofa I had that was near the back of the room. " Lightning," Dark called " Lightning, Are you feeling alright? Has the poison joke got you or something?" " I-I-I'm not coming out." I said, My voice muffled by the large blanket. " Ever." " Come on, I'm sure it's not that bad." " Y-Yes it is! I'm not coming out! P-Piss off!" " Come on, We gotta continue on with life. You should be as adventurous as the adventure core." " I'm under a damn blanket! Do I look adventurous to you?!" My voice sounded normal " Oh, Lemme guess, You're a clown now?" Kent asked. Issac, Dark, and the doctor looked at Kent and Gave him cold, hard stares. " Oh come on, show us what you look like." The Doctor called out. " Are you looking like an Ood?" " No... Thank the heavens... still.... leave me alone..." I said, My voice still muffled. " Oh come on!" Dark yelled " One of these we're going to find out. Get out from under that blanket. You're not going to stay there forever."

"Yes I can. Just- just go!" I yelled. " Whatever it is, You deserve it." Dark said in a really annoyed voice. " You're nothing but a wuss under that blanket. Come on, ass-wipe, You're tougher than this." Dark groaned and sunk into the sofa. A sudden Idea hit Dark. "Lightning," Dark said " Is your stallion-hood intact? I bet it turned you into a mare didn't it?"

I started coming out from under the blankets and faced Dark's direction. My cheeks were red and a small tear leaked from my eye.

" I-I hate you! Why couldn't you just leave me alone?! WHY!?" I yelled with my new, mare voice. Jaws hit the floor. I swear I heard somepony yell " I called it!"

( Author's Note: Sorry for not updating in like 2 or 3 months, I was piled high with vacation stuff and school work so nothing could get done, But Luckily I had enough time to squeeze in a small chapter this weekend. Hopefully it's been worth the wait)
