When an ancient evil known as the "Nightmare King" cuts off magic to all the world, a young unicorn named Inkwell finds herself in a fight for the very fate of reality itself. Joining her is Twilight Sparkle, and a trio of heroes claiming to be from another Universe. Along the way, the unicorns will learn more about the Universe than any of them ever thought possible, and unravel the secrets behind Magic itself.
