Everything is a blur of harsh light. Something's holding her down. She thrashes and kicks, striking something that gives way to her hoof.

Her insides feel twisted, wrong. She convulses violently, like every muscle in her body clenches at once. Her teeth grind together.

Shouting. A bite on her neck, small and sharp.
