Braeburn was sent by a cloaked figure to find a dusty and old oil lamp inside a cave. And this was just the beginning of the story of how the life of the simple applebucker changed forever.

The small town of Appleloosa is suffering. More and more apple trees are dying and only a few have been giving fruits. This starts to change when a stranger offers Braeburn a huge sack of bits if he can run an errand for them. The task is simple:

1. Go inside a cave;

2. Don't touch anything but an old and dusty oil lamp;

3. Grab said old and dusty oil lamp;

4. Don't touch anything else;

5. Get out of the cave;

6. Don't touch ANYTHING ELSE;

7. Give the cloaked stranger the lamp;

8. Still don't touch anything else;

9. Forget everything about this task.

Seems to be a way too easy task for that generous amount of bits but, despite suspecting there's more about this "mission" than meets the eye, Braeburn agrees anyway. After all, his family, friends and neighbors need all the bits they can get.
