Prologue

One night, I found myself in a strange room i have never seen before. I was lying on the ground, unable to move my legs. I couldn't get my self to call for help, let alone talk. As I looked around the room, I couldn't see anything. It was all covered by the darkness. I had no memory of how or when I got there, but i was. After I got my head together, a light flashed on in the middle of the room, shining on a dark purple sofa, and sitting on it, was a unicorn. He seemed to have a deformed horn, he was kinda stocky. My heart started to race as he leveled his bloodshot eyes at me. He let out a deep, mischievous laugh. "I do think its time we talk, please stand up". His horn made a red glow as i got strength into my legs, and by then, i was up on my hooves. The old unicorn spoke once again and said "Well now that we are awake, would you like to tell me your name?" I hesitated to look into his demonic looking bulging eyes and mumbled "I....I'm Twilight Sparkle..." He let out another laugh, abit more cheery than the last one. "Well well Twilight Sparkle, you have an interesting destiny ahead of you." I was about to ask about where i was and what 'interesting destiny' meant, but before i could open my mouth he said, "Oh and please, don't be alarmed. Your quietly asleep in your bed at home right now, but before you can go back, we have business to talk about." as soon as he said that, a younger unicorn, with a blond, curly mane and blue fur walked into the light and just stood beside the sofa, while floating a book with her magic. She turned to the buck on the couch and said, "Master, you must introduce yourself to her." he nodded and smiled some. "My name is Igor, and my assistant, is Margret. And this place? This place is called the Velvet Room" Igor glanced at Margret and then looked back at me. "Oh Ho... It seems we are out of time. We are going to bring you back here very soon, but i warn you. The trials ahead are not going to be anything like the trials you've been through before. So keep a strong head, and think through your decisions." I still had questions to ask, but by the time i knew them, i woke up with a dragon bouncing on my bed.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" My pet baby dragon, Spike was that dragon. "YOUR GOING TO BE LATE TO THE SUGARCUBE CORNER!" I jumped out of bed, yelping and panicking about being late, I hate being late. The princess was going to be at the Sugarcube corner that day, so it would be the worse time to be late. But eventually, i did get there in time. As i walked into the pink building, I heard a strong, but friendly voice. "Twilight Sparkle, glad you could make it." It was princess Celestia with a warming smile on her face. I couldn't help but to hug her the second i seen her. "I'm so glad to see you princess." i mumbled into her shoulder as i squeezed her. She looked down at me and said "Keep it in your pants Twilight..." An uproar of laughter from everypony in Sugarcube Corner arose, especially Pinkie Pie, who was pointing out the obvious. "But Twilights not a girl~" and "WE DON'T EVEN WEAR PANTS!~!" Princess Celestia calmly said "Luna said that i should use some houmor... im trying" letting out a wry smile. Suddenly i got really dizzy and fell on the floor, things were white and blurry, there was a ringing in my ear. But all at that time, i felt strength inside me.

As things cleared up, i was surrounded by ponies. All of my close friends to be exact. I got up, claming that everything was alright, though i knew, it was the exact opposite.
