chapter 1

Pickaxe after pickaxe slowely breaks away the stone just to reveal a harder chalk like stone. Each strike making a louder clang than the previous. The earth ponys and unicorns down the deep mine swing their tools faster and faster as they edge ever more into the strange stone, ever hopping to find what they had been hired to mine so many months before. For this is a crystal mine, one of the most successfull crystal mines in all equestria! Due to its unique location they dont have to work so hard to reveal the crystal hidden by the soft stone. That is until today. Today they came across a large cavern surrounded by the most resistent stone they have ever seen or heard of.this type of stone was used to build canterlot aswell as some of the ruined castle of the royal sisters in the everfree forest.

A pickaxe slices straight through a fin layer of the rock and light beams through revealing a small amount of rusted metal. Together they make the whole large enough for a singular pony to enter at a time. Walking around the large lump of slightly rusted metal the unicorns use their magic to reveal a titanic metal spider like structure filling the cavern, but as an earth pony miner goes to touch it smoke starts billowing out the top of a small chimney on top of the torso of the spider like mound of metal. The miners stand back, mouths agape as the structure shudders then moves. Turning so the front faces the group of ponies.
the cavern is suddenly filled with the sound of mechanical laughter when the front of the machi e bends down to get a closer look at the ponies.
the sound of metal sliding against metal is heard causing the ponies so cover their ears to try and block out the sound. They dont seam to notice the weapon being lowered out the underneath of the head of the mechanical beast until its too late. Their agonising screams are only drowned out the the fire that is spewed down upon them. After the ponies are dead the flame thrower is brought back inton the head leaving only card remains to show it was ever there.
hearing the screams of pain the mine owner sends down a pagasus with a blue mane and orange coat to find out what the screaming was about. Even when flying it takes her a good half an hour before she arives at the opening and sees the chard remains of her coleagues and the large mass of metal. Screaming herself she flies as fast as she can back to the surface where she quickly explains what it is she saw. She talks about the chared bodies and about the hulk of metal that seemed to be moving. Soon after she starts hyperventelating before she passes out.
Before he can give out any orders the mine owner aswell as the rest of the miners hear a high pitch almost squeeking sound before the whole mine is filled with dust and a loud whiring sound. The amount of heat comming from the cave melting some of the rock around the enterance way. As the dust clears a large beam of light blue is revealed making the whole mine five times the size it was previously.

the final court of the day nearing its end celestia and luna gaze out the window and their eyes widen in shock. In the distance a huge almost pillar like beam of sky blue is shooting straight into the sky from a dust cloud that could hide canterlot. The two princess's share a look that says. 'Thats not good'
"This court is now suspended until a later date!" Celestia states loudly causing the room to empty and the guards to look questionablyat her.
A scroll apears infront of celestia and she quickly writes a letter to her favroite student and fellow princess, twilight sparkle. She sends it off and heads towards the throne room. This is clearly troubling her.

The sound of heavy metal crushing stone eminates from deep within the mine as the beem dissapates leaving all who stared at it near the mine seeing stars. The ground start shaking with each step as the mechanical erachnid climbs towards the surface. Each step sending rocks tumbling down past it. Each step drawing it that much closer to the surface.
"And the damned alicorns thought they had trappec me forever! Ha! They only delayed their own demise!" The machine says in a clearly angered tone.

Outside the mine they hear what the machine says over the sound of it drawing closer, each steo sounding like thunder in their ears. Smoke starts pouring from the mouth of the mine a a giant metal limb smashes a 'warning! Possible rock slides!' Sign at the enterance. As the machine rises to its full height outside the mine it spots the small group of miners cowering while staring up at him. The machine being larger than their tallest building they attempt to run and scatter to no avail. Fire floods the minning town filling it with the screams of the dying.
after this only one pony remains. A pegasus with blue maned pegasus who is now covered with ash and burns.
"You! Why would you do this!?" She yells at the machine.
"I will explain myself if you inform youre rulers, that promeathius has returned!" The machine replys sounding almost joyfull.
"S, s, so why d, d, did you have t t t to kill th, them!? Y, you monster!" She yells at him.
"REVENGE!" the mechanical arachnid shouts before aiming its weapon at her. "Just go. Its been fun. Dont come back." The machine says bluntly.
yelping she flies as fast as she can towards canterlot. Not realising that shes revealing the location of the princesses. Aswell as equestrias capital city.

The doors to the throne room swing open as twilight and her friends enter to find a woried looking luna and celestia. Twilight seing this straight away rushes towards celestia and says. "Princess celestia! Princess luna! Whats wrong!?"
"Twilight, something, has been found in soft rock crystal mine. I fear the worst has happened. I need you and youre friends to find out what happened." celestia says.
"Where is the mine? What do you mean you fear the worst!" Twilight says with a look of confusion plastered on her face.
"Twilight, we fear that the mining town maybe no more. It is or was 2 miles north from here. Were relying on you and youre friends twilight." Luna says.
the doors fly open a second time. Except this time a badly burnt pegasus flies through in clear panic.
"Princess celestia! Soft rock mine! Every pony dead! Living metal!" At that the pegasus collapses to the floor. Worn out after flying for 2 miles as fast as she could with no brakes.
shes picked up in lunas magic glow and luna says "what news does thou bring of soft romck mine!"
"Princess luna, it came out of the mine. It said something about being stuck there by alicorns. Then it destroyed the town and everpony who lived there. I barely escaped with my life!" she says as exhaustion takes her to a deep sleep.

Trees and animals are crushed and destroyed as the machine makes its way ti the nearest settlement to continue its slaughter. Leaving a trail of deastruction in its wake.

chapter 2

"What could cause this much damage and suffering in so little time!?" twilight asks the princess's as they fly over whats left of soft rock mine.
the whole town has been reduced to rubble and ash, the only sign there was ever a town there is a singular burnt sign. Chard corpses litter the entire site, all silently screaming from the agony they faced before death. The mine itselfhas collapsed but due to the shear size of the tunnel that remains they could still go down there if they wished to do so.
using their magic the spill light down the now abandoned mineshaft and start making their way down into the depths of the earth. With the occasional piece of rubble and rock rolling down ahead of them, gaining momentum as they get deeper and deeper into the mines depths.
The ground suddenly starts shuddering and the twang of wire reverberates from the enterance of the mine as a loud mechanical laughter chases after them. With the torso of the mechanical beast blocking the only exit the trio of princesses are forced to turn and face it.
upon seeing the flowing mane of luna the mechanical beast releases an almost hiss like noise and steps back. "You should be dead! Why arnt you dead!? I ended all the lives of the alicorns! How do you still live!?" The mechine yells in a confused yet enfuriated version of his own voice.
upon hearing this they scowl and luna goes to say something but is cut of when the beast simply turns around and walks away with enough smoke comming out of its chimney to block the sky for hours.in clear anger it starts destroying a large forest, stamping, snapping and burning every single tree and bush there.
"Princess luna, did you sea what was on the side of him?" Twilight asks in a confused manner.
"We did see. It worries us greatly" luna replys staring at the spot where the gargantuan machine once stood.
"I need to get a closer look." Twilight says as she trots forward. "if I can get answers from him I might be able to solve this mess"
She exits the cave and spreads her wings ready to take flight but is shocked to find both celestia and luna beside her.
"W, what are you doing? I dont want to get anypony hurt when im attempting to get answers from him." Twilight states in a almost whine.
"Thou arnt the only one after answers twilight. He knows more than he is showing" luna says
the trio take flight towards the mechanical beast and closein beside it. On the side of its torso the word promeathius is faded and a symbol very familiar to both luna and celestia is next to it. Its a picture of space and all its stars, the symbol of his creator. The alicorn prince whom made him.
"It cant be! You where defeated before either of us even existed! PROMETHEAS! DO NOT IGNORE ME!" celestia shouts in her canterlot voice.
the smoke stops pouring out for just a second before prometheas turns and all three of them get the fealing hes glaring at them.
"Dont you, DARE! You dare use your canterlot voice on me, young one! If you shout at me because of whatever you heard I did to youre ancestors your anger is miss placed!" promeathius roars back making celestias canterlot voice sound tiny. After this promeathius turns towards the nearest mountain and starts making his way towards it.
All three princess's just hover there stund from both what he had said to celestia and the volume of which he said it.
"Wait! Please!" Twilight begs flying towards him as fast as she can.
"If my creator had known that all the stories and information passed on by elder alicorns would turn into one sided lies he would of have me destroy myself and take all equestria with me!" Promethius shouts to himself clearly unaware of twilight begging for him to wait and answer her questions.
the ground below him suddenly gets very steep and is no longer dirn and grass. He is now scaling the side of the mountain with twilight following.
"Please! I just want to know what happened..." twilight says sadly, seaming like shes about to give up.
hearing this caused promethius to stop dead in his tracks. This made him think and also grow in anger aswell as a almost bottomless saddness. Not only did the alicorns that betrayed him make him the 'bad guy' but their children try and wipe all memory of him and all chances of the true story comming out! His master and creater died because of an accident caused in his rage that was brought upon by his leaders. He allowed himself to be defeated because ne had killed his creator and his only true friend.
"I will tell you what happened that dreaded day. That day my existence whent to tartarus and the traitors where known as heroes and heroins.the day my only..." he cut himself of there and his whole body creaked causing twilight to wince.
Twilight flew up to him and softly said "its okay. I will try and help if I can."
"It happened just after I had finnished a small training sesion, I returned to the encampment that me and my creator where based at for defencive reasons when I heard him and at least 15 other alicorns arguing. I could see their shadows on the side of the tent. One was tied to a chair while the others where torturing him. It was only when they had stabed him I realised who it was in the chair. I had crushed half the tent in an instant to see that he was still alive but unconsious. The knife was torn away with the tent and blood was trickling out the wound on his remaining wing. They had torn the other off. A large group of them attacked me from behind, one had a mane like the stars with a slight green tint to it. She was the mother of master and the one leading this assult against me. I tried to stay calm and olny wound them so I could explain why I acted the way I could but they where trying to kill me and master. They soon realised that their attacks weren't doing much against me and so whent after master. The first attack sent himm to the edge of the everfree forest. I, I snapped at that point. I killed them, I didnt care that they would soon plead with me for their lives and lives of their foals.i didnt care because they hurt the closest pony ive ever had to family and wanted to kill him. If they wouldnt harm him once I was dead I would have let them kill me but they veiwed both me and master as a target. After they where almost all dead the attacker's leader was infront of me begging for me to let her live. As my leg came down towards her master pushed her out the way and, I, I, killed him... that was when any trace of anything but depresion filled my. Blocked my senses and time seemed to slow to a stop.then laughter. The sound of evil, cruel laughter came from behind me. A whole army of royal gaurd had assembled behind me and masters own mother was laughing. Laughing at me, my suffering, and how I had just killed the only being that ever meant something to me. I killed her. Sent her up in flames then crushed her corpes remains to dust and let the others stare at what had happened. The last thing I saw before waking up was a very deep whole then darkness. Now you know what had happened the day my life fell apart around me. And that is why nopony shall ever think of me as anything but a monster or a mythe. That is why I hate youre 2 mentors. That is why I hate your whole race! Because your race caused me to loose my only friend and family!" Promethius yelled at twilight, startling all three princesses.
he continues his climb upwards as the sun is blotted out by the enormous amount of smoke erupting from the tip of the chimney. Recodnising this to be a very bad sign of his mood twilight gets as far away from him as he can before he desides to kill her too.
"We heard the whole thing from here, twilight. I know understand why we where toldhe was a monster built by a traitor. Because it was a story used to cover the truth behind what had happened. He seems to believe all alicorns and ponies think the same way. I will go talk to him." Celestia says as twilight returns.
"Its a little too late for me to go back.say it was just a mistake? Think theyd forgive me like that. If I thought id be let back in I thought wrong!" Celestia hears him saying to himself as he climbs.
"But youre just like any other being. You make mistakes. I understand what its like being the one to cause somepony who you love as family to die. I had to bannish my own sister to the moon. I had cried for years after..." celestia says. Sorrow lacing her voice.
"But she had returned! You dont know what it feals like to kill somepony youve loved like a farther all youre life! When you bannished youre sister you know she would return! I will never get to see my creator ever again!" Promethius yelled. This stung celestia and hurt her more than she thought could be done with words.
celestia landed on the side of the mountain and cried. This was something he was not expectng at all. He was expecting her to attack him or to attempt to once again seal him away.now fealing increadibly guilty for reducing her to tears after she attempted helpng by unknowingly making a very terrible comparison he stopped and lifted her up using one of his eignt legs.
Being shocked by this action celestia is even more shocked to be put in a balcony type area on the 'head' of promethius. He makes his way back down the mountain and ignores the other two alicorns who start following him towards canterlot. Celestia stands up and finds a singular lever with no indication of what it could do.
Celestias magical grip pulls down on the lever and what seams to be a sphere of fire is lauched from the front of the head and ignites a tree. Within seconds the trees reduced to ash.
"Stop!" Luna shouts and promethius stops dead as commanded.
"What is it you wish for now?" promethius says clearly hapoy to once again have orders.
"What did you just do" She asks
"That weapon can only be used by the passenger. Celestia done it." He replys calmy
At this the trio enter the balcony and stay there fro the entire journey to canterlot. Where panick will surely follow when promethius aproaches with the princess's behind the bars of the balcony.

In a couple chapters time theres going to be a suprise meeting of promethius and his most hated race. Please state in the comments what race that should he hate most. The pony race is non included.

chapter 3

From inside the throne room a panicked command of a guard sends all the other gaurds in canterlot into panicked confusion.
"The princesses have been captured by a giant spider! What do we do? What do we do?" One of the guards says as he rushes past pinkie, rainbow, rarity, apple jackand fluttershy.
this also causing then to panick they rushed to a window and look into the distance. At first they only notice the pillar of smoke, but as they follow it to the scource 5he see what apears to be a giant spider with the three princesses on top. The spider is clearly oblivious to the blind panic that's filling canterlot.

"Um, celestia. Wouldnt it be a good idea to hide promeathius for now? I mean, wouldnt they pannic apon seeing him?" Twilight asks as they grow ever closer to canterlot.
"I think its too late for that. If that squadren of pegasi attack me I wont hesitate to kill them." Promeathius states as a weapon with 18 pipe like objects raises itself from the top of his head.
celestia and twilight gasp when he says this while luna just goes pale.
"THOU SHALT NOT HARM OUR PRECIOUS SUBJECTS!" Lunashouts in canterlot voice.
The sound of rusty metal scrapping against metal causes the trio of alicorns to cringe as two more of these weapons rise from top promethius's torso. All three weapons take aim and the barrels of all 3 weapons start spinning into a blur of silver. The pegasi grow ever closer the weapons follow them.
within seconds the amount of pegasi in the squad becomes apparent and it becomes clear they are all weilding spears. As one squad turns out to be 15 and each squad having 15 pegasi flying beside each other, twillight clearly is about to yell at promethius when celestia shouts before she can.
"STOP! Return to canterlot and inform the other element bearers that we will be there shortly."
All the gaurds fly back towards canterlot except one squad. One squad keeps flying straight towards them. The air is suddenly filled with the sound of thousands of small explosions as all three weapons fire 763 of bullets a second into the group of 3 guard.
Their bodies fall to the ground in bright green flames and then are no longer guard but changeling corpses.
still angry twillight yells "why did you shoot them!? They might not have been changelings!"
"If they weren't changelings they would have done as celestia asked of them." Promethius states flatly
They spend the last couple of minuites of their journey in silence until promethius climbes up the side of canterlot. The sound of panicked screaming filled the air as the citizens of canterlot see the giant mechanical spider that is promethius climb up the side of canterlot using windows as foot holds.

Two huge lumps of metal hook round the edge of the royal palace as the hulk that is promethius's body rises and all anypony can hear after all eight limbs are on canterlot is the terrifying sound of promethius's laugh echoeing throughout the streets.the princesses fly down while glaring at him for scaring their subjects for no reason.
Before anypony can react a rainbow blur shoots through the air and bounces of promethius's side with a yelp of pain.
"RAINBOW!" 5 mares shout as the rainbow maned mare lands in a heap with broken wings and a broken hind leg.
"I see I am not welcome here." Promethius states and easily climbs halfway down the mountain canterlot resides on before revealing his most powerful weapon. A pony size mass of wire and metal. A single metal rod pointing out the front of it, the end of this pole is glowing a deep sea blue and seams to be hot enough to make the air around it shimmer with heat.
as this strange weapon is lowered all three princesses can sense a huge amount of energy being built up in it. Before they can warn anypony to get away from the edge of the wall three guiding lasers spark to life and start spinning. They start spinning faster and faster then a small red guiding laser shines out the center just before its filled with a blue beam that wuickly glows to 5 times larger than celestia herself. This beam of energy shoots past canterlot and into the everfree forest, causing the forest to get smothered in thick dust and fog.
after seeing the destruction that he can cause celestia some how gets visibly paler, luna just looks incredibly shocked, twilight looks angry and every other pony who saw just look terrified. Happy with the reaction promethius steadily makes his way towards the badlands where one of his many hated races have their hive.

chapter final

It has been several hours since promethius had left a lasting impression on his power in the memories of the canterlot citizens just to leave straight after, straight towards chrissillis's hive. The whole of canterlot is in shock with gaurds on full alert, watching the mass of machine that is promethius move away at incredible spead. The only reason hes still in sight is because his size and the smoke billowing out his chimney.
"Sister, I worry that he will do something to drasticly change the future of every race in equestria." Luna says in an almost whisper.
"I, I am unsure, luna. I honestly am scared by the fact such a creation still exists..." celestia says.
If it wasnt for the fact that they are inside celestias private quarters then anypony outside would have started panicking or questioning why she said 'still exist'.
"I aswell dearest sister. We destroyed all the recorded war machines that were created. But that just means that he had not been recordd at all..."luna says.
both princesses are suddenly startled when a loud knocking echoed through from the door.
"May I enter Princess celestia, princess luna?"came the familiar voice of princess twilight.
the door (suddenly encased in a golden glow) creaked open and twilight entered with a aincent scroll in her own magical grasp.
"I found this in the archives. It lists every single war machine ever created, except it doesnt mention anything about our destructive friend. However it looks as though the last page had been ripped from it early in its public release." Twilight says with a woried expression covering her normaly joyfull expression.
"Dearest sister, you dont suppose that page held information on, him, do you?" Luna says with a deep frown.
"If so then we had better find this missing page before it falls into the wrong hooves." Twilight says with what can only be described as a look of worried determination.
The hallway outside the room is suddenly filled with the sound of armoured hooves galloping towards them. Suddenly the royal gaurd are rushing into the room with an alicorn who looks almost as old as equestria itself.
"Your Highness's, we found this, citizen, at the remains of soft rock mine. He was muttering something about how it wasnt as much damage as he expected from his, son." One of the gaurds suddenly explain while bowing down infront of the royalty.
"I wasnt mumbling, you fool. My son could hear me, even though he was on the side of that mountain with the princesses bothering him! My apologies princesses. My name is, um, well I seam to have forgotten over the many years that have passed since I forced promethius into his cell." The alicorn says doing a slight bow.
"I take it youre the one who tore the page about him out of the book then." Celestia says staring curiously at the strange alicorn.
the strange alicorn simply nods and holds up a sheet of paper in his blood red magic.
"The information on this paper could put the whole of equestria at danger. It holds the information needed to allow him access to his memories, memorys wjich will cause him un fathomable amounts of hate and rage." He explains shortly.
elsewhere
"If you wish to live you will move out my way! I wish to speak with your queen!" The metalic voice of promeathius echoes through the thousands of changelings between him and their hive.
"Say what you will from there, beast!" The voice of chrissillis calls out from behind the swarm.
"So there is a new queen. Maybe we can solve the dilema I had with the previous queen then. I am promethius, I would ask your name but I doubt id resieve an answer. I know how secretive changeling queens can be."
As soon as she hears this, chrissillis gives the order for the drones to seperate a large enough gap to be seen by promethius.
"Ah! So were open for negotiation are we? Good!" Promethius says with a hint of happiness in his voice.
"So youre the monstrosity who sent fear straight into the heart of canterlot. I senced such a drastic change from here.i could of used somepony like you when I attacked canterlot not too long ago." She says with a hint of admiration to her tone.
at hearing this promethius lowers himself to be face to face with the changeling queen.
"The last changeling queen I saw I killed because she attempted to kill my *fssssstttvvvvvspttt*" the last part of that sentence was cut out with the sound of sparks and sizling metal.
At this she raises an eyebrow and smirks. " I dont believe you realy remember youre past that well. Do you, promethius?" Chrissillis says now grinning. "You will do as I say and I will return your memory to you. Dont and I will destroy whats left of it." She growls the last part.
Giving off a very noisy sigh and burst of steam promethius says "what is it you ask of me?"
chrissillis now grinning says "we will take canterlot for the glory of the hive!" She yells and leaps onto the balcony on promethius's head.

back in canterlot...
"What do you mean your son was the heir to the throne!" Celestia yelled in her equestrian voice.
Braking the arguement allmost instantly a pannicked guard rushes in and yells "its comming back! With an army of changelings! What do we do!?"
suddenly the whole room goes silent. Not even the sound of breathing can be heard.
"I will go and try to convince him to stop this madness!" Celestia says but is stopped by the newly found alicorn.
" no. Hes my son. I should stop him. Its my fault he's what ne is anyway." He says but before he can leave the whole of canter lot shakes as a single word is sent reverberating arou d its halls.
"FARTHER!" Promethius's voice laced with pure hatred sends fear into every living creature for miles.
sighing the alicorn in question walks up to one of the windows I the wall and sees womething thought he never would. Queen chrissillis and an army of thousands of changelings marching/flying staight for them.
"And here I was hoping they wouldnt make an allience"
as soon as he says this he immediatly regrets it. He suddenly recieves angered glares from everypony in the room.
"I guess I should explain..."

Promethius's point of view.
"That coward better come face me himslef. I will tear the world apart to extract my revenge from that traitor to the crown and family!" He says in a clearly hatefull tone.
"I knew he was a traitor to his family, but to the crown aswel? Is that why youre so mad at him?" Chrissillis says with fear etched into her voice.
"That monster killed my grand father! King elemental stike! I was the heir to the throne before he framed me for the murder whilest I was at war!" Promethius yells as his body shakes and a large satellite raises out of his back and is launched into orbit around the planet.
"W, what was that?!" The changeling queen asks while watching it fly out of sight with a thick trail of smoke behind it.
"A little suprise gift for my father. I hope he accepts it with open hooves. Either way, he wont escape its power!" He says following it up with loud, almost insane laughter.
suddenly the whole royal guard assembles outside canterlot in an attempt to defend it.
"Realy father!? Convincing the princesses and their guard that youre worth defending after you killed the king in cold blooded murder! Just to frame it on youre own son and true heir to the throne! He was the kindest pony I have ever met and I believe even sister doubted those lies you told everypony! She knew I was in the middle of the battle feild at the time! And yet you still betrayed family and crown!" Promethius shouted so loud that the guard had to cover their ears aswell as causing all the changelings and their queen to fall to the floor.
this caused a huge spark of fury to form inside the aincent alicorns mind. "How dare you reveale the past to them! This was my last shot at taking the power thats rightfully mine! The power I was willing to share with you!" The alicorn yells after telleporting himself infront of his son.
"Now away with you! Go back to the depths of the planet where you belong!"
A large flash as bright as the sun blinds everypony temporarily as promethius is sent into a pit that goes straight to the core of the planet.

3 months later

fires spread throughout canterlot as the trio of princess's battle the evil alicorn who uses both normal and dark magic to repel and deliver powerfull attacks.
no pony notices the huge amount of smoke erupting from a deep, seemingly endless whole where soft rock mine once was. That is until the evil alicorn stops all his attacks to glare at it.
seeing their chance the princesses hit him with enough energy to send him hurtling through canterlot mountain and into the distance.
"Sister, why did he stop?" luna asks with a worried frown.
"Because our long lost friend has returned." Celestia says pointing out the pillar of smoke with her hoof.
with a quick glow of her horn celestia is standing by the top of the pit. She simply waits until the ground starts to shudder with every step promethius makes towards the surface.
after 3 hours of the shudders getting more and more powerfull a great metal limb rises over the edge of the pit, shortly followed by another. She is suddenly greated by the towering body of promethius striding over and past her, towards canterlot.
"And why are you going promethius?" Celestia asks in a harsh tome.
"I have no patience for you, so called princess." Promethius says causing celestia to flich from the hate that still stains his voice.
before she can respond a large red explosion send luna flying from the royal chambers.
"Maybe I under estimated him. I should reveal both suprises he seams to have forgotten the true heir to the throne has." He mutters to himself.
Before celestia can even start asking a question about what he just said promethius starts to give off a very dark blue glow and yells as loud as he can.
"GUARDIANS OF THE ROYAL BLOOD! RISE FROM YOURE GRAVES AND FULFIL YOUR DEBT TO THE CROWN! I ASK YOU NO AVENGE THE KING AND PROTECT THE ROYAL SUBJECTS!"
the grounds all around equestia rumble as giant stone and metal hooves lift giant mechanical ponies with huge axes, swords and spears. All of them have glowing blue eyes and march towards promethius's father, who has now lost all colour to his face at the sight of the aincent golens who only answer the kings call.
however. Instead of giving up on the spot he desides to teleport ont promethius and rip a large sheet of metal from his back.
"And there I was thinking youd never do that. " he says then turns to the soldiers. "Kings ponys! I hereby have decided whom my heir to the throne will be and who you will for ever serve unless they say otherwise. Princess luna, princess celeastia and princess twilight.I bid you all good bye!" As soon as he says this celestia and the unknown alicorn gasp loud enough to make promethius turn around.
Looking up into his father's hate filled eyes he says one last sentence."archimedes test fireing in 3, 2, 1." A huge, blinding beam if light shoots down and strikes promethius and his father causing him to implode.
after the dust cloud clears all thats left is a huge pile of ruble and a skeleton that used to belong to the only other alicorn left to knoledge, other than the princesses of course.
The larger pile of rubble suddenly moves and is knocked onto its side. The sound of electronic motors and groaning an be heard from behind it.
"I cant believe that actualy worked." A chearfull male voice that celestia places instantly.
"Promethius? How did you survive something like that? The energy given off by that, what ever it was, was powerful enough to kill thousands of ursa majors! "
All movement from behind the rubble stops. As if frightened of being seen.
"Please, I dont think youd want to see your uncle like this. Just, just go and forget I even exist." The saddened, less mechanical voice of promethius says.
"Uncle? But, wait. Your sister was my, mother?!" Celestia says on the border of tears.
"Yes. And im proud that you managed to make her proud from beyond the grave. I still regret the day I saw her in trauma after my father claimed I killed the king. The look on fer face will haunt me for all time, even as the, monstrocity I am. Im not even a proper pony anymore." He says. Greif clearly forcing him to remain silent.
The rubble glows with celestias magic and is lifted away to find a pkny with most of its body made up of machinery. Half his head is missing and replaced by a small supper computer.
celestia gasps when she sees the horn thats been severed from his head and the huge wings that are supported by a metal frame with small turbine engines attached to the wings themselves instead of the frame that supports them. He has a white coat with a grey and amber mane and tail. Almost all his body is being supported by a strong metal frame and many small pistons.
"You dont desrve an uncle like me. Im sorry but I must go. Im sure you probably dont want a disgrace such as me around equestria any longer than you have to..."
"Wait! You dont have to go. Please, just listen and maybe wait for my sister to arrive. She could help. We can help you to get along with everypony and you can stay in canterlot with us. But"
celestia never got to finnish because luna hits him with a very powerful blast and the satellite enters the atmosphere, aiming directly for promethius. As its falling it fires in the same direction, leavind nothing remaining of their uncle.
just before the blast hits him though one thought shoots through his mind.
"PREPAIRE FOR UNFORSEEN CONSEQUENCES" he says this outloud as he is utterly destroyed by the satellite that he called down on himself.
the only thing left to show what happened is a grave saying 'here lies the last true king of equestria, king promethius. Died to stop the past repeating itself to destroy equestria.'
Everything else was cleared away and the metal remains where melted down and sold to other countries so they could repair the damage caused by the battle for power.
However unaware to everypony their uncles mind was copied to another satellite which is constantly watching over his neices and their empire. And occaisonaly he will fire his weapon on an unsuspecting enemie who plans to attack those he cares for.
he is now known only as equestria guardian angel. The only ponies who knows that it is him who is doing it and not a spell is princess celestia and luna. His last remaining family.
