I started my day by digging at the dirt slightly. Never mind that Where are my manners. My name is Stafford well that's my last name to say the least. First Name Kyle, last name Stafford. I am a pony living in the lovely Town of (You guessed it) Ponyville.

I start my daily regiment, going down the roads saying my hellos to everyone i see to be the friendly kinda pony. Then I was stopped by Applejack on my way around town. "Hey there Stafford." She said with a smile. "Hey, what's up?" I asked her. "We need some extra help 'round the orchard, wanna help?" She asked me. I nodded at her. "Let's go!" I said as i flapped my wings to gain some speed.

We arrived at her farm and I looked around. I saw all of the Apples, Big Macintosh, Granny Smith, and Lil apple bloom working the farm. It seems the help was needed with the trees, more apples grew on them then the Apples had expected.  I followed Applejack to where we were gonna be picking the apples (or really just kicking them down) and we started to work

After a while Applejack broke the silence. "Hey Stafford?" She asked me. I looked at her. "Yeah?" I responded. "If you a Pegasus, why aren't you up in the clouds for work?" I took what she said and thought on it for a moment. "Guess i'm just a earth pony at heart." I said with a chuckle. She smiled back and we carried off our barrels of apples to the main farm. "Thanks for the help Stafford." She said nodding at me. I nodded back and headed off back to town.

Though she didn't know it and i didn't saying anything; I absolutely hate it when people ask me why don't i do work in the sky. At the same time I can't hold it against anypony its only natural for them to be curious of why a Pegasus such as myself isn't working in the clouds.

I look at my shadow and the position of the sun. It was about 3 O'clock, time to help Twilight with her studies. I walked over to the young students home and knocked on the door. She answered the door with book in the grasp with her magic. "Oh hey Stafford, right on time." She said as she let me in. I walked in slowly and noticed what type of books that have been taken down.

"So today's study is astronomy?" I asked her. She nodded with a smile.  We studied for a while, put her books back on the shelf and I left to go about the rest of my day. "See ya later Stafford!" She yelled as I was half way across the street. I smiled and waved back.

I headed home, rather where I sleep at night. It's just a section of the woods, fairly isolated and no one knew that I lived like this and i hope to keep it that way.
