The entire arena was sold out for the upcoming gladiator event. Grifeokoles. The last gladiator standing for the house of Grifonius was to face one of the strange visitors that entered their land. Grifeokolos was a gryphon obviously. But not like any other. He was at least twice the size of any normal gryphon. And at least three times as buffed. Armed with sword in beak and one in claw he prepared to annihilate all that will oppose him on the sands of the arena.

His opponent. One of the beings that unluckily crashed in to Grifua. A man. We'll refer to him as 'Tavish' for the time being.

Tavish was completely unarmored and only armed with just a bottle of booze. Half-empty of course. But this did not bother him in the slightest. Gladiator gryphons. Who the hell comes up with this nonsense? Anyway, their current Dominus or basically slave master Quintus Grifiatus, promised to release the group after winning this final fight.

"Begin!" Both Lanista's signalled for the battle to begin.

The crowd went wild as Grifeokoles, a personal favorite by the spectators, started smashing his two swords together. "Grifua! Grifua!" He yelled.

Tavish just facepalmed. These gryphons are crazy. The crowd is crazy. Everything is crazy here. Let's just get this over with. He quickly drank what was left in the bottle. Tavish had trouble keeping his balance as he was starting to get pretty drunk. After he finished he smashed the glass bottle in half. Now it's basically a knife!

"Y-ye better listen boyo. I'm gonna beat ye so hard you'll have a twitch!" Tavish spoke with drunk tongue while pointing the sharp broken bottle at the gryphon.

"Raah!" Grifeokoles was not amused by these threats and immediatly charged at the human with both blades drawn.

The gryphon was extremely fast, physically strong and appeared to have the obvious advantage seeing as he's much better armed then the human. Tough steel versus dirty old rags. Dual swords against a bottle of liquor. Plus the human was drunk! This will be easy.

A fatal mistake. 'Tavish' had probably killed more people in his life then there are spectators in this entire arena.

He proceeded to do a simple side-step, avoiding in the incoming slash. Tavish then jammed the broken bottle in the gryphon's throat with all his might. It was that easy.

Grifeokoles tried to curse the human with his last words before falling to the sands in defeat. But he never managed to speak them as he was dead before he even hit the ground. At least he got what he wanted. A honorable death in the arena. Right?

The spectators were silent for a few seconds, but then giant wave of cheering and applauding emerged. Cheering for the new champion of Grifua.

"DeGroot! DeGroot! DeGroot!" The crowd chanted.

Tavish didn't bother to bow to the crowd. He had better things to do. Get a new bottle of Scrumpy of course!

"At last, the gods remove cock from fucking ass! Ha ha! The house of Grifiatus, no, the house of Quintus Lentulus Grifiatus rises to the fucking heavens!" Grifiatus was obviously overjoyed to see his gladiator. No, his slave, defeat Grifeokoles with ease. He had to rub this in his rival Grifonius's face.

"Hmm yes. But now they're free to go, as you have promised them. You'll have no more champions again after the night welcomes us." Grifonius smirked.

"Fuck!" Grifiatus was to busy celebrating his victory and overlooked this fact. He did indeed promise freedom to the gladiators, if they were to defeat Grifeokoles. But Grifiatus could never have dreamed his gladiators would be this powerful. But it does not matter. They are his slaves, he bought them and they will do as he commands. Or at least he hoped.

Quintus Grifiatus gathered his gladiators to make them a final offer. He already gave them back their equipment. He thought it to be proper since all their uniforms were red, just as the flags of the majestic gryphon empire.

"Turn thoughts away from freedom. Stand on the sands once again with your new weapons and let eyes set upon all of you brutally slaughtering every gladiator to challenge us on the glorious sands of the arena!" Grifiatus was sure they'd go with it. Who could resist all the glory and coin that there was to be earned.

"Well listen here pardner... Ya know that ain't the deal. If we fought them stupid battles, you'd release us. We're on a damn schedule here and we ain't got much time left." One person said clearly annoyed.

"Ahem, Dell. Allow moi and ze lunatic to do ze negotiating." Another one said. "You've seen where it brought us ze first time if you try."

"Mmmphh!" The 'lunatic' mumbled.

"Fine... But make it quick."

"Excellent! Come then. Let us negotiate under the fine taste of Grifua's own wine." Grifuatus gestured the two humans to follow him in to his office.

The rest of the group that remained proceeded to eavesdrop. They wondered what they could be 'negotiating' about.

They could faintly hear what was going on.

"Ah yes. And that is when... Wait what are you doing?" Grifiatus sounded worried.

"Stay still!"

"Mmmmpphh!!!"

"Ah. You got blood on my suit!" *Thump*

"Help! What are you- AAAAAH!" Screams of terror could be heard from Quintus Grifiatus's voice.

"MMMMMPPHHHHH!!!"

*Bonk* *Crash* *Star Wars laser sound*

A minute later the door opened once again.

"Gentlemen. Is anyone in ze mood for roasted chicken?" The person said as he casually lighted up a cigarette.

General RAAM was a one of the top ranked locusts. Also one of the most powerful in their enormous army. Armed with a giant troika turret and dagger that could be called a greatsword to some.

Always loyal to their master were the Kryll. Dark bat-like creatures that could only live in the darkness. As a swarm they protected their master from incoming projectiles.

The darkness of the night was earlier then expected since Celestia had her own battle to worry about. Just more an advantage to Discord without her realising.

"Ssssserve me..." With a dark evil voice General RAAM commanded his kryll to strike at the two ponies and human.

A small percentage of the swarm went and flew over towards Heavy.

"Get behind me little ponies!" Heavy shouted as he threw himself in front of the two earth ponies.

These kryll were small. But they sure did hurt. Instantly that began gnawing everywhere on his barely armored body. His arm suffered mostly as the diabolical creatures simply bit through his flesh like a school of piranhas would.

Heavy desperatly started waving his arms around, trying to shake off the bat-like annoyances. But in vain. They sticked to his skin as if they were attached with glue, continuing to gnaw untill there's nothing but bones left.

"Heavy! Quick, get over here!" Applejack shouted as she was entering the barn. Next she was pulling out the BLU dispenser.

"Yes glorious idea!" Heavy quickly rushed over to the dispenser to heal the damage that has been done. As he started getting closer to the barn, the light that was shining brightly from within caused the kryll that were assaulting the Russian to burn to nothingness.

"Puny bats are weak to light!" Heavy quickly discovered this fact. With this information he'll easily crush this large white monstrosity." He thought so at least.

His arms got healed by the dispenser. Good, very good. He stretched them one last time and picked up his beloved mini-gun Sasha.

"DIE COWARD!" The Russian yelled while firing a barrage of bullets at the locust general. However none if the bullets fired were able to penetrate through RAAM's shield of krylls.

This annoyed Heavy to beyond normal levels. Sasha was always able to crush any enemy. Even the horseless headless horseman would eventually cower in fear. But this beast of a locust just kept walking as if nothing was going on.

"Dieeee groundwalker..." RAAM's terrifying voice even made the Russian tremble for a split second. But there was no time for this emotion called fear. Heavy had to stand his ground to defend these ponies. As long they were in the light, those bat-things wouldn't be able to harm them. Good.

"Ponies stay in l-" Heavy was interupted as he started hearing the metal dangle of the oversized troika machine gun carried by General RAAM. It was equally as large as Sasha. But the sound it produced was far louder.

Now the locust General started spraying bullets at his targets. Nothing was spared as he shot the BLU dispenser to bits and fired multiple rounds in to the barn. Causing it to collapse slightly.

"Aw shucks! We're in a lot of trouble now." Applejack said.

"Eeyup." A deep voice suddenly stated.

"Big Mac? What the h- What are ya doing here? Get yer big butt moving and get Granny Smith and Applebloom the hay outta here!"

He went silent for a moment.

"Eeyup." And then Big Mac dissapeared. He knew he wouldn't be able to talk his sister out of fighting with that scary thing. She's way to stubborn.

"Okaaay... So what do we do now?" Pinkie Pie asked. It's obviously no time for games now. Is it? No... No.

"We must crush evil bat-man. Ponies! Use magic to shoot him!" Heavy ordered the ponies.

"Uhh... We're earth ponies Heavy... We can't use magic." Applejack said.

"IS ALL NONSENSE! MAGIC IS REAL! Little ponies just need to believe!" Heavy shouted.

"Uhh... It doesn't work that way sugarcube." Applejack stated once again.

"Bah! Ridiculous. Ponies must believe, only then magic will happen!" Heavy proceeded to pick up the orange earth pony.

"What the hay? Put me down right now big guy!" Applejack said annoyed as the Russian was aiming her as a gun at the locust General.

"Pow! Pow! Focus harder pony!" Heavy shouted.

"Pew pew!" Pinkie Pie started imitating the Russian.

"Ughh. Pinkie Pie... Don't encourage him." Applejack sighed.

Believe it or not. General RAAM. One of the highest ranked locust. Was actually facepalming, even in his corrupted state.

But time for ridiculousness was over. The locust General had his troika turret ready to fire once again. He pointed it towards the group. "Dieee!" He shouted.

"Now you lemme go right now!" Applejack proceeded to buck Heavy right against his big nose.

Of course it started bleeding again and caused him to lose grip of the orange earth pony.

"Ouch! Why do little ponies always kick Heavy?!" The Russian wondered.

But Applejack had no time to explain. They had to take action before this ugly guy would destroy all of Sweet Apple Acres.

"Pinkie Pie! Ya distract him while ah go an' take that weapon of his!" Applejack ordered her friend. She was of course armed with a lasso once again.

"Yes sir!" Pinkie Pie saluted and got ready.

"Njet!" Heavy stopped them. "We fight together!"

And so the three did. They were currently still safely in the lighted area next to the half-collapsed barn. But they had to get out to get close to that big meanie.

Pinkie Pie was the first to take action. She immediatly sprinted off towards the locust General. She quicky ran past him and waved around her hooves trying to get his attention. "Hey party-pooper! Come and get me!" She teased.

RAAM didn't feel threatened by the pony. But decided to kill her anyway. "Sssseerve me..." Once again he commanded a large part of his kryll army to do his bidding. He directed them towards the pink pony who then of course immediatly started sprinting off again.

While General RAAM was still focussed on Pinkie Pie, Applejack was the next to take action. She quickly threw her trusty lasso towards the giant troika gun the Locust General was still holding. It hit. But it was to heavy for her to disarm him.

Now it was Heavy's turn. He jumped in front of Applejack while dropping Sasha and then rushed over to the Locust General. RAAM tried to take cover but in vain. The Russian stomped right through his defense of krylls that were left. Severely hurting his own arm in the process. As his punch collided with RAAM's face he was sent flying. Well for a few meters. But more importantly he dropped his weapon.

Applejack quickly dragged it away. "Good job guys!"

"Da! We crush puny bat-man!" Heavy said.

"Did we get him!" Pinkie Pie popped out of nowhere.

"Nah. But at least we got that darn contraption of his." Applejack answered.

But RAAM was not amused. And not tolerating this crap. He stood up tall once again, barely hurt by the Russians punch. "Grrr...." He was just staring angrily at the three. But one in particular.

"You... Dieeee!" He said pointing at Applejack. Clearly the Locust General loved his gun just as much as the Russian loved Sasha. And was not willing to forgive Applejack for taking it away from him.

But do not fear. General RAAM had another weapon he always carried with him. A large dagger. Very large. You know what? It's a sword. There. A fucking sword. The very same sword that already took the life of Lieutenant Minh Young Kim.

The locust General rushed over to the RED Heavy and attempted to slice him. Hopefully slowing him down while RAAM will destroys those ponies. But the Russian was able to dogde his slow slash. However not the devastating kick that followed, now launching Heavy through the air.

The bats started dispersing as General RAAM got closer to the lightened area. But he didn't care. None could stop him. he was the strongest locust on Sera, that's what he believed.

With blade drawn he now stood before the two small ponies. But they didn't look terrified. Why? He's going to destroy them, even if he wasn't corrupted.

What's this? They're laughing? They're giggling like little school girls for gods sake. General RAAM had never been this annoyed before. Their death will be painful, that he promised.

"Ya might wanna look behind ya pardner." Applejack said while laughing.

"Hmmrrghh?" General RAAM did just so and saw an enraged RED Heavy charging towards him. Hatred and anger fuelling his strength to keep fighting.

Heavy had meanwhile retrieved his mini-gun after the locust General kicked him away. Heavy also wasn't bothered by the kick that was delivered to him. But mad he was. No one pushes Heavy aside. NO ONE!

In his charge at full speed he smashed Sasha against General RAAM's face. Causing him to drop to his knees.

"Ponies not look now. This not going to be pretty." Heavy felt like he needed to state that.

But the ponies knew what was coming and turned around. They knew it was neccesary, but it was still awful to see.

Heavy then placed the barrel of his mini-gun against General RAAM's chest. The locust General just growled a final time.

"Say good night baby man." Heavy said as he chuckled. He then proceeded to pump the locust full of lead. He kept firing for a good ten seconds. RAAM was silent.

It was over.

"Yes! Once again glorious victory for Heavy and ponies! "

"Yay!" Pinkie Pie chirped excited.

"Yee-haw!" Applejack threw her hat in the air.

But behind them. General RAAM covered in bullet holes somehow managed to survive all of this. Bloody was leaking from all over his body. But he had only one goal.

"Vengeance!" He roared one last time as he threw his blade towards Heavy.

Heavy had no time to react and the sword that was thrown got stuck directly in his arm. The Russian didn't scream in pain as normal people would do. But it definitely hurts. In fact, he couldn't move his left arm anymore.

But that didn't stop him from really finishing up the locust General. Heavy charged over once again and threw him to the ground.

"NOW SAY GOOD NIGHT!" He shouted angrily as he used the full force of his legs to crush General Raam's entire head beneath his feet.

Victory!

Skorge stould before the three. It was attempting to speak words but the words spoken were incomprehensible for the human and ponies. It was a terrifying being to say the least. Armed with a staff that holds chainsaws on both ends he would be able to cut even through the COG soldier's heaviests of tanks.

Skorge is the High Priest of the Kantus. Yes, locusts have a religion. They worship worms. That's all you need to know.

But Kantus monks were also outstanding warriors. Armed with ink grenades, gorgon pistols and athletic skills they'd crush all the COG's in their path.

And Skorge was at the top of all this. He was even right hand of the queen herself before his death. Truly a terrifying warrior. Responsible for the death of many fine COG soldiers including Tai Kaliso.

"What the hay even is that thing?!" Rainbow Dash was clearly disgusted by its appearance.

"More of Discord's lackeys." Ulfgar replied. "See the red eyes?" He was meanwhile still clashing blades with the creature. But managed to overpower him and push him away. Skorge once again leaped to the sky and started rapidly running behind the trees.

"Those are his eyes? Ewww!" It was just a dirty scary looking tentacle monster to Twilight Sparkle.

But the beast did not pause. Skorge leaped from tree to tree throwing more Ink grenades at the group.

"Watch out!" Ulfgar shouted as he jumped to the side. Rainbow Dash took of the the skies once again, avoiding all the things Skorge would throw at them. Twilight Sparkle teleported herself away just in time. She teleported to a remote place and dug in to a book for some reason.

"Twilight! What are you doing? It's not the time to be an egghead right now." Rainbow Dash complained.

"Hush Rainbow! I might know a way to help us defeat that monster." Twilight said annoyed.

"What? Reading a book isn't going to save us from that... thing."

"I'm sure it will. Trust me on this."

"Ughh... I'm going to help Ulfgar. The way we're supposed to." Rainbow Dash left her friend and started heading back to the fight.

"Be careful Rainbow Dash!" Twilight Sparkle made sure to shout this. She quickly began searching for a certain chapter in the mysterious book she was holding.

Ulfgar meanwhile lured out the kantus High priest out of his cover and clashed blades with him once again. Both were equally skilled with their weapons. But Skorge had two advantages. One. His staff could attack from two different places. Two. The dovakhiin was already hurt.

But Ulfgar also had one advantage. The Thu'um. Ulfgar started chuckling maniacally when he realised this.

"FUS RO DAH!" The trademark shout once again. Skorge got launched in the air since he wasn't that large of a guy. Well he was, but pretty skinny at least. Surely this will finish him off.

Nope. Skorge soared through the air skillfully backflipping and landing perfectly on his feet on top of a tree. This was one was skilled warrior. Fierce and dangerous. Just as Ulfgar likes his battles.

Skorge leaped at the dovakhiin once again but his assault was blocked by Ulfgar's greatsword. He overpowered the creature once again and managed to slightly cut him in the legs.

That's just one hit. Ulfgar prepared for many more to come. He started summoning lighting with his free hand and launched it directly at the kantus High Priest.

It clearly affected the creature as it started to shriek in pain. But not for long, he threw an ink grenade directly at the dragonborn, causing him to stop his assault.

Skorged leaped back in the air. But just as he did so Rainbow Dash flew above him and managed to buck him straight back to the ground. He fell next to the dovakhiin's feet.

"Say your prayers, warrior from another world. And prepare to meet your ancestors." Ulfgar stated as he drew his blade closer to the kantus High Priest's throat.

But Skorge never gives up. He never surrenders. He would fight to the death and even then he'll haunt you.

Skorge grabbed the dovakhiin's blade with his bare hands. He held the blade strongly enough to cause his hands to bleed. But he managed to pull the greatsword away from the dragonborn.

Now the tables were turned as Skorge attempted to slice Ulfgar with both his chainsaws up and running.

The dovakhiin barely had time to react. But years of combat trained him to be best he could possibly be. In a split second he managed to shout another Thu'um.

"TIID KLO ULL!" He shouted the words for Time Sand Eternity once again. Almost stopping time all together. But even now Skorge was moving fast beyond normal. A fatal mistake made by the dovakhiin. He should've used his Disarm or perhaps his Ice form shout.

Now he will pay the price.

Skorge managed to cut the dovakhiin right in his stomach. Where his other wound immediatly re-opened on impact. The pain was unbearable. Even for Ulfgar the fearless. He started coughing up blood and fell to his knees, slowly losing consciousness.

"Ulfgar! No!" Rainbow Dash shouted. "Twilight! We need to help them right now!" She then proceeded to rush at Skorge once again before he could deliver the finishing strike on Ulfgar.

She managed to buck Skorge right on his head once again while he was distracted. This obviously annoyed the hell out of the kantus High Priest and also decided to change target. This guy isn't going anywhere, anytime soon.

"Ready!" Twilight Sparkle suddenly shouted.

"Wait, what?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Then Twilight Sparkle suddenly released a spark from her magical horn. A magical beam was created as her eyes started glowing up as well. The entire area started getting surrounded by a blinding light. Skorge saw this coming and immediatly lept to higher grounds.

Then everything went silent and dark once again.

"What did you do?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I summoned for help. The same way Discord did." Twilight said proud.

"What? Then who did you bring?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously.

"I don't know. But the Everfree Forest is the only place I can do this. There is something about this place. And it's also temporary."

"So you brought somepony you don't even now?"

"Well. What else was I supposed to do? I can't sword fight with that octopus man."

All of a sudden the ground started trembling. A giant dark hole emerged from the place where Twilight Sparkle launched her beam of magic. All of a sudden a presence of darkness could be felt all throughout Equestia. It even managed to catch Discord's attention who was busy in his own battle attempting to take over Canterlot.

A giant hand... No. Something much darker emerged from the black hole. Another bunch of smaller beings also started crawling from deep within the depths.

It were skeletons. Actual humanoid skeletons. Moving on their own. All armed with different kinds of weapons.

Then the larger being pulled himself up from the black hole. It was completely surrounded by darkness and the parts of him that were visible only revealed more bones. Where ever this creature set foot, everything around it started perishing. Flowers withered by his presence. Grass was reduced to dark ashes. And even trees were reduced to nothingness.

"Twilight... Are you sure this was a good idea?" Rainbow Dash asked worried.

"I-I don't know..." Twilight Sparkle was clearly frightened by this creature she summoned herself.

The largest being pointed his minions towards the unconscious dovakhiin. Ordering them to drag him with them to the depths of the gravelord.

The skeletal warriors did as ordered and ventured towards the dragonborn. But they were stopped half-way.

The dovakhiin was his prey. And no one else's. He was determined to finish what he started himself. Not allow these skeleton freaks to do as they please.

He started bashing his chainsaw staff against the minions and started dropping like flies. As he finished the minions off, he turned towards their leader. Who didn't even bother to look at the kantus High Priest.

Skorge just roared annoyed at the creature. But shortly after was interupted. A blade suddenly penetrated his chest. A dark red blade which magically emerged from within the ground.

Skorge fell to his knees and saw to his horror that the skeletons he just defeated were forming back. Even if he had completely crushed their bones. They still managed to recreate themselves.

So these are truly undead.

Skorge was stabbed in the face by one of the skeletons. Other were either stabbing or clubbing him from the sides. It didn't take long for Skorge to meet his end as well.

The kantus High Priest. Dead once again.

The largest being slowly approached the Kantus and absorbed it in the darkness surrounding him. The black hole that was created started closing so it was time to go. But one more thing.

It pointed its skeletal finger towards Twilight Sparkle, without even looking at her.

A terrifying voice could then be heard. Not from the creature itself, but from all their surroundings.

"You... are... next..." These words kept echoing throughout the entire forest. The creature and its skeletal minions then dissapeared in the darkness once again. Bringing only Skorge with them.

As the dark hole closed. A bright orange glowing piece of text seemed to appear in the ground.

"What did it mean I'm next?" Twilight Sparkle said worried.

"Relax. It didn't say your name. It could mean anypony." Rainbow Dash said. Glad of the fact this fight is over.

"He or it clearly pointed at me! You saw that, didn't you?"

"Nah, I'm sure he was just pointing randomly." Rainbow Dash knew it did point at her, but she tried to comfort her friend who was worried for all the right reasons.

"Anyway. What's that thing?" Rainbow Dash wondered and she started flying down.

"Rainbow! Don't touch that. What if it comes back."

"Please. I'm sure it's just a harmless thing."

Twilight then teleported after her friend. Next to the strange orange glowing text on the ground.

"What does it say?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"I don't know. I've never seen these symbols before." Twilight Sparkle answered. "It does seem to have a presence of magic."

"Maybe if we..." Rainbow Dash tapped her hoof on the strange symbols.

Then suddenly a brightly orange glow started emerging from it.

"RAINBOW! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"

"I DON'T KNOW?!"

"It's coming back! RUN!"

Rainbow Dash quickly took cover behind a tree. Twilight Sparkle quickly went to get Ulfgar and levitated him to safer place before hiding herself.

Then suddenly a creature appeared from within the light. It was strange looking, and completely covered in an orange glow. It was clearly human. It resembled Ulfgar and Carmine in some ways. He had strange looking armor on, and wielded a sword. Though not nearly as large as Ulfgar's.

"Hello? Heeello?" The human started wandering around in confusion. His voice slightly muffled because of the helmet he was wearing.

"What do you think he wants?" Rainbow Dash whispered.

"I don't know. But he doesn't look as scary as that last thing." Twilight answered.

"So what do we do?"

"Oh. I think we sho-"

"Ah noble maidens. It seems I have found my summoner. Tell me, what is it you require?" The orange glowing human suddenly stood besides the two ponies.

"Ah! Run!" Twilight and Rainbow were panicking and started running around in circles.

"Oh my. Excuse me. Is it my appearance? I sincerely apologize. I get this reaction all the time."

"Aaaaa- Wait? You aren't going to hurt us?" Twilight asked the human.

"Goodness no! Why would you think such a thing of me?"

"Then who are you?" Rainbow Dash joined in.

"Ah. I am but a servant of the sun. And now, you have summoned me. To the land of the sun. So here I am, but only to serve in the time given."

"What do you mean land of the sun?" Twilight asked.

"Hmm... Maybe it would be better for me to shut my mouth. Forgive me Ms. Sparkle."

"Wait... How do you know my name?"

"Oh yes. That. Uhh... Pfft, I guess there is no point in hiding it now."

"Hiding what?"

"You see young maiden. This world has been connected to my realm longer then you might think. Just as there is another world linked to Lordran. Our fates are always intertwined. That is why we've invented the summoning system. For jolly co-operation!"

"That still doesn't explain why you know my name."

"Ah yes. You see, I'm on my very own quest to find my own personal sun. Since our worlds are connected I figured there's also the possibilty that it might reside here. I am determined to finish this quest, therefore I might've done some research on multiple things in your world."

"In other words. You were spying on us?"

"Roughly put. Yes."

"So did you find what you were looking for?"

"Ah. Not yet. My story has yet to come. Duties in Lordran call extremely often. It's a dangerous world and other heroes often need a little help in defeating their foes. Untill I am free of that requirement, I will not be able to truly pursue my own sun."

"Are you capable of healing magic? Our friend is badly hurt and needs medical attention right away." Twilight asked worried for Ulfgar.

"Hmm. There is not much I can do in the ways of faith while I'm just here as a spirit. But give this to him." The human gave the ponies a orange colored potion.

"What's this?"

"An estus flask. Favorited by undeads."

"What do you mean undead? He's not dead? Is he?"

"Ah. You are mistaken. The moment your friend was brought in to this world he became a hollow. Trust me on this one."

"Okay..." Twilight still hesitantly decided to accept the strange potion.

"So we had a creepy monster that Twilight here 'accidently' summoned to our world. It was pretty scary. And that's saying a lot coming from me! Can we do anything to prevent that from happening again?" Rainbow Dash said.

"Ah yes. That would be very simple actually."

"How?" Twilight wondered.

"As long the gatekeeper stays loyal to his duty. There won't be anything able to invade your world unless placing summoning sigils. As you just did. A very unwise decision young lady! Hah. Hah. Hah!"

"Okay... That does sound simple. By the way, what's your name? I feel awkard not being able to call you something."

"My name? Oh great joy! I am called Solaire. Solaire of Astora." Solaire then proceeded to 'praise the sun'.

"Okay... I'm Twilight Sparkle and this is Rainbow Dash. I'm sure you already knew that though. Anyway. You mentioned a gatekeeper. Who is this gatekeeper?"

"Ah. That would be someone you know very well. In your world he is call-" *POOF* Solaire suddenly vanished. His time was up appareantly. The summoning sigil slowly dissapeared from the ground.

"What?! He was just about to answer!" Twilight was shocked.

"Well. Get him back!"

"You're right. I should jus-" Twilight then remembered what Solaire said. Those diabolical creatures were only able to enter if she opened the gates for them by creating a portal as she did earlier. She can't risk doing that again. They'll have to find out who this 'gatekeeper' is themselves.

"We can't risk it Rainbow. What if that other thing comes back again? We've got more then enough problems on our hooves right now."

"Yeah starting with that one." Rainbow pointed at the hurt dovakhiin, who was still bleeding out this entire time by the lacerating caused by Skorge's chainsaw.

"Oh no. Oh no. Oh no! This is bad, we have to do something." Twilight said worried.

"What about the thing that weirdo just gave you?" Rainbow Dash mentioned.

"... I guess so since we don't have any other options. I'm sorry if this hurts Ulfgar! But we don't have any other options. She leviated the flask above the dovakhiin's mouth. Who slowly started drinking the strange orange liquid.

Pretty good actually. Ulfgar felt himself powering back up. Pain was rapidly leaving his body. The huge cuts that have been made were completely vanished. But the dovakhiin's ego was broken. He lost. Ulfgar the fearless. Lost.

He proceeded to sulk next to a tree. Not even facing the ponies or questioning what happened. He had to live with this shame on his own.

"Ulfgar... Stop doing nothing. If you're healed get ready to search for the others. I can feel another humans presence extremely close." Twilight said.

The three started heading out. Tracking whatever they were able. Rainbow Dash took the skies of course.

But it didn't take long for them to get alarmed as they suddenly heard an explosion just a few hundred meters away.

When they arrived the dovakhiin almost fell to his knees. The ponies were equally shocked by what they were witnessing.

"No... N-not him." Ulfgar was enraged, saddened and speechless at the same time.

This has to end. Now Discord has crossed the line. This was unforgivable.

Dark Spear and Shining Armor among them of course. They were both completely recovered from the wedding's events. Shining Armor even gave up his honeymoon to protect Canterlot. Even as the behemothian creature launching rockets approached them with his arch enemy riding on its back.

The first rockets the brumak fired now collided with some unsuspecting buildings. Demolishing them even faster then the lambent berserker was just a week ago.

"Oh yes! BOOM! Haha! Don't you think it's beatiful Chrysalis?" Discord was laughing.

"Hmmph... I'd rather like it if we went to chase the humans rather then assaulting this bunch again. Vengeance will be mine!" Chrysalis said.

"Yes. Yes. But all have to play their part. By the way... Did you remind to instruct your changelings to follow my orders?"

"Yes of course. Why do you ask?"

"Oh... No partical reason. Hehehe." Discord was rubbing his claws evilly.

The brumak was now right inside the town. Rampaging and stomping everything it was able. And of course deploying more missiles to destroy random buildings whenever it was able.

Some guards that stood vigilant to defend their town were simply crushed as the behemoth passed them. There was nothing they could do to stop a creature this size.

Maybe one.

"Sniper! Is there anything you can do?" Luna asked the Australian.

"Crikey Sheila! I can't do anything to a monster this size. Maybe give it an itch, seriously what the hell is that thing even!"

"Then I guess it's just us sister." Luna said to Celestia.

"Oi. I can't take out that big thing. But I can take out that bloody goat-guy." Sniper said.

"Then do what you must. I will not see any more ponies hurt by this monstrosity! Celestia stated and was pretty angry looking.

Sniper prepared to take off. Find a good place to snipe where that big monster wouldn't blow his brains out.

"Wait! I'm coming with you!" Derpy said following the BLU mercenary.

"Crikey. Just don't blow me cover again." Sniper said to the pegasus.

Now Luna and Celestia stood on their own. Against the giant brumak that was completely annihilating their capital. But if they wouldn't stop it, who will? Discord had planned this perfectly. But there is still hope. There's always hope as long you're willing to believe in it.

Celestia and Luna rose up to the skies with their large majestic wings and started swarming the giant beast.

"Discord! Why are you doing this!" Celestia shouted.

"This is rightful vengeance Celestia! For locking me up twice and continously proving yourself to be an unworthy ruler!" Discord yelled raising his claw in the air. "You know nothing of this world!"

"Nor do you care for anything in it." Celestia shot a flaming orb towards Discord. However the giant brumak managed to provide cover to its master by using its own body to catch the magic.

It barely affected the brumak. But it did make it more pissed off. It launched more rockets now heading straight towards the the Canterlot outlook. Discord wanted everything destroyed, apart from the castle. That would be his afterwards.

It didn't take long for the rockets to impact this time as they were rather close. The watchtower completely blew up. Thank goodness Sniper and Derpy already left. But there were still more guards inside. And each life taken by Discord hurts Celestia's heart.

Discord. He's gone insane. He went from ruling in chaos to ruling in fear and death. What must've caused him to act like this? Why was he set out so much on vengeance? And why did he kept calling her an unfit ruler? Celestia didn't know. But she knew one thing. He had to be stopped, no matter what.

And there was only one way. Use the power of the sun. Night had come early since Celestia thought it would work to their advantage. But she couldn't be more wrong. She'd have to use a lot of magic in order to raise the sun once again.

But with its power maybe. Just maybe. She could put a stop this this madness.

"Ah Chrysalis my dear. Would you mind trading seats with me? This wretched beast smells on this side." Discord asked casually.

"Why have you been acting so suspicious all day? You're not scheming anything are you?" Chrysalis asked worrisome.

"Oh. Hehehe. You know me. I would never do such a thing." Discord chuckled once again.

"Al...right. Let's change seats." And so they did. Nothing could go wrong from just this. Right?

"Crikey! That bloody bastard switched seats. I can't get a clear shot." Sniper complained. But as he was peeking through his scope he noticed something strange.

The darkness of the night. It was dissapearing. Sniper could see princess Celestia risen up high up in the sky. With magical sources surrounding her she appeared to be... pulling the entire sun up by herself.

"That is bloody impressive." Sniper said.

Princess Celestia felt her powers weaken for using such a difficult spell so soon again. But she also felt empowered as the sun was shining on them once again. The source of all her power.

"Sister? Are you going to?" Luna asked.

"Yes Luna. This insanity has to be stopped. I would so wish I never had to use this again."

Luna had never witnessed Celestia's true power. She told that it was neccesary only once in the past. Before Luna's time.

Princess Luna recalled the nightmares her sister had ages ago. In her sleep she kept shouting about a certain 'Lord of Cinder'.

But no time to worry about the past. Let us turn eyes to the present and the future to come.

"What's this?" Something that Discord didn't plan for. That's what.

Celestia eyes started shining brighter then ever before. And so did her horn. A small beam appeared which rapidly got bigger by the seconds.

Then it fired. Blinding everyone around her. The giant brumak was screaming in pain for the intense heat it was suffering from. Discord quickly teleported himself away. Chrysalis immediatly followed him, both abandoning the draconequus's minion.

As the bright flash of light dissapeared the BLU Sniper was amazed to see what happened. There was nothing left of the brumak. Absolutely nothing. Not even a slice of flesh. It was completely incinerated to nothingness by Celestia's attack.

"Sister... That was..." Luna had no idea what to say. In a way she was excited. But in another way she was terrified of how much power her sister possessed.

"Do not speak of this ever again. Now there's just Discord and the changeling queen left. Let's go." Both princesses then left in search of Discord once again.

But Sniper already had Discord targetted. The Machina was fully charged. Get ready for a headshot.

"What was that?!" Chrysalis said shocked after witnessing Celestia's power of the sun. The impact of the beam even managed to knock her away.

"Just a minor inconvenience. Don't fret about it. She isn't able to pull of another trick like that for days." Discord said while helping the changeling queen up.

"Just be ready." Discord chuckled.

"For what?" Chrysalis asked confused.

*BOOM*

The moment the BLU Sniper fired his rifle Discord teleported himself away. Leaving the bullet to penetrate the queen of the changelings.

Discord started laughing insanely. "Yes YES! Perfect haha!"

Chrysalis was in pain and nearly losing consciousness. "D-discord... Help..." She said softly.

"Oh no... Your part is played. Who will the changelings follow without their precious queen? Hmm I wonder? Hehe." Discord continued chuckling.

"B-b... Why?"

Discord didn't bother to answer. Her role was played and now the changelings are his to command. He proceeded to kick the changeling queen multiple times. Eventually she reached the edge of the building.

Discord pushed her off. Not even looking back on this. He then proceeded to teleport himself away once again.

"Crikey. I missed the goat. But I hit the other bad guy." Sniper said to Derpy.

"U-uhh... Sniper... You might want to..." Derpy said with a disturbed tone.

"Bloody hell Sheila. What's the problem?" Sniper barked.

Derpy just pointed behind him.

"Oh hello." Discord said giggling.

Sniper left no time unfinished and immediatly leaped at the draconequus with his Kukri drawn. Discord however just kept teleporting himself further each strike.

"Yes... You've played your part excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better performance. If anything, I should thank you!" Discord said.

"Ya can thank my boot when it's up your ass bloody wanker!" Sniper said annoyed.

"Hmm. No need to be rude. But your part in this story has come to an ending."

Discord snapped his fingers at which that moment the BLU Sniper started bursting in to flames. He rolled around on the ground desperatly trying to extinguish himself.

"You are not part of the finale. Failure." Discord teleported off once again leaving the Sniper to burn to death.

Sniper took this chance and used his Jarate to properly extinguish himself. But in vain. He was burned far to much for it to just heal. This was going to be the ending of the BLU Sniper.

"Sniper no!" Derpy bursted out in to tears.

"Oi... Sheila. Don't cry..."

"B-but y-you are g-go-" She was interupted.

"I never die." Sniper said full of courage.

"H-hold this Sheila." Sniper presented his the Machina to Derpy. "Promise ya k-keep it close... C-cause I'll be wantin' it back." Sniper gave a gentle smile to the sad pegasus.

He then grabbed his Kukri and slit his own throat. Killing himself before he could suffer any further.

BLU Sniper. Dead.

"N-Nooo..." Derpy was even more shocked after witnessing this with her own eyes. She could not hold her tears any further.

Meanwhile at Celestia and Luna.

"Sister! Did you hear that?" Luna said.

"Yes... I fear there's more trouble happening." Celestia replied.

"Oh you two don't need to worry about a thing! However I'd like you to leave my city right now." Discord said taunting the princesses

"Your city?!" Celestia was enraged. "This is OUR capital. And you should be the one leaving."

"Oh yes? And who are you going to bring hmm? The elements of harmony? The humans? They're all useless."

"I don't see you with an army as well Discord. Right now you're outnumbered two to one." Luna stated.

"Oh but I beg to differ." Discord snapped his fingers as suddenly multiple changelings flew in. They were all busy fighting the royal guards so have not taken notice of the absence of their queen. In this situation they could only serve one person. That would be Discord.

The changelings crashed down all at once. They took the forms of various locust grubs, Heavy once again and some were actually shapeshifted in to Draugr. They didn't have weapons. But they did have a lot more physical strength then usual.

"Do you still want to fight hmm? I'm giving you this one opportunity to leave. I'm still soooo excited for the grand finale! It wouldn't be the same without you there." Discord chuckled.

Celestia hesitated. But it was clear. Discord was more powerful then she or Luna currently was. She should take this chance to leave. Regroup and properly set up a plan against the lord of chaos

Canterlot was lost. This hurt the princess more then you can imagine. For centuries it has been her home.

With a tear in her eye she left. Not saying another word to Discord. Luna followed her sister. Also troubled by their loss.

"Yes good... I'll be awaiting you all in the finale." Discord left with his army of changelings. To the palace he felt that rightfully belonged to him.

As both princesses were about to leave the city Luna's eyes caught something's attention.

Chrysalis was lying on the ground. Not moving. Covered in blood she just laid there lifeless.

Luna went to investigate. She held hear ear close to her chest. She could hear a heartbeat. "She's still alive sister!"

This pleased Celestia. They might not have Discord. But they have somepony that was able to provide more information about him. Celestia doesn't know what happened to her. But she was certain that the changeling queen would prove to be a valueble prisoner.

"P-p-princess!" Derpy hooves suddenly rushed over as soon she spotted the two princesses.

"Ms. Hooves my child. What is troubling you?" Celestia asked as she saw the worried look on the pegasus's face.

"S-s-s-s-s-" Derpy kept stuttering with tears in her eyes and snot coming out her nose.

"Please calm down my little pony. Please explain to me what has happened?" Celestia tried to help her calm down a little.

"S-Sniper's... Dead." Derpy said.

This fact shocked both the princesses.

"What?!"

Carmine and the ponies took off as soon as the sniper started firing at them. After that a group of theron guards armed with both lancers and torque bows.

Fluttershy and Rarity were nice ponies. But they weren't soldiers. Carmine didn't feel like complaining but he really wished he had Applejack and Rainbow Dash instead. Or maybe Twilight Sparkle with her laser beams.

But no. This is what he was given, and this is what he had to deal with. He had to guarantee their safety. It's just a group of Therons and a crappy sniper. No problem.

Or so he thought. Little did Clayton Carmine know that he was about the face the toughest challenge of them all. One that many soldiers won't even consider taking. Perhaps that would be best for Carmine as well.

But no. Carmine was determined to secure safety for the ponies and get them back to the town.

As the three were running for their lives Carmine signalled the ponies to stop and hide behind a tree. They didn't think that was the best idea. But they really couldn't argue in this situation.

The Therons got closer... At least one of them. Carmine signalled the ponies to stay quiet no matter how terrified they were.

Carmine awaited the approaching locust from behind a tree. As he passed the COG soldier jumped on its back and started strangling the creature. With Carmine's power it didn't take long for it to choke to death. He then proceeded to break his neck to be certain it's death. Don't want one sneaking up on you later. Locusts are tough bastards.

He noticed the ponies terrified looks. How could he blame them? This was normal life to Carmine. But in this wonderful world the ponies aren't involved with things such as murder and death very often.

But they had to get over themselves. This is the only way. The only way to lead is to set an example to others. Hopefully they'd follow.

Most likely not. But still. Carmine prepared to loot the enemy he just massacred.

"Hey! I found a torque bow!" Carmine shouted excitedly.

Maybe not such a bright idea since now the other therons spotted him and started rushing towards him.

"Geaaarsssss....." They shouted with a creepy voice.

Carmine didn't even bother to wait and immediatly aimed his newly aquired bow at the group.

He aimed. Aimed some more. And he shot!

A direct hit. The arrow got stuck in one of the theron sentinels.

*BEEP*BEEP*

Also torque bow arrows explode shortly after impact.

*BOOM*

The one that got hit directly was literally blown to pieces. another one that was near had his leg blasted off, thus he fell to the ground.

"Ha! Double kill. Assholes!" Carmine shouted victorious.

*BOOM*

The sniper then suddenly shot a bullet directly at the COG soldiers head. Thank god he wears a helmet. The bullet just deflected off.

"Ughh... This fucking sniper is pissing me off." Carmine wasn't that far away judging from the sound.

Carmine decided to take action and take out this sniper before he could do that to any of them. He gestured the ponies to stay quiet and stick behind cover. Carmine distracted the group of remaining therons as they began running after him. Wildy firing bullets and arrow bolts in random directions.

The ponies didn't know any better and decided to follow Carmine. Even if they're safe from those locusts. They're still in the Everfree Forest. There's more dangers lurking within these forests.

Carmine had meanwhile reached proper cover behind some rocks. He used his lancer to fire at the three therons that remained. He was able to mow one down as he rushed towards the COG soldier. Another one immediatly followed so Carmine activated his lancer. Sawing the locust in half.

Then Carmine was greeted by another bullet from the unfriendly sniper. This time the bullet grazed the skin of his arms. That was close. It's a terrible sniper, that's for sure.

But Carmine used this opportunity to locate the devil himself. There! Behind those rocks uphill. "You better get ready for a beating damn hippie!" Carmine shouted.

But he was not prepared for this.

"S-squirt?" Carmine said confused as he looked at his youngest brother completely dressed in his COG armor stand before him, armed with the sniper rifle that's been shooting him. His eyes... They were red.

"I got your back sarge!" Benjamin said.

"What... What are you talking about." Clayton wondered. His brother was talking nonsense.

But he aimed his sniper rifle at Clayton.

"Hey squirt... Snap out of it man."

"Shut up fucking monkey-dog!" Benjamin shouted. Still aiming the rifle at him.

Then Clayton was suddenly punched from behind against the head by another man.

"YOU FUCKING ASSH-" Carmine stopped as he saw the perpetrator. "Anthony?" Now his other brother was here as well. Once again, red eyes and he just attacked Clayton. This wasn't good.

"Come on bro. What's wrong with you guys? FUCKING SNAP OUT OF IT!" Clayton slammed his fists against the helmet of his brother.

He pushed him all the way downhill. Even now Clayton was still the physically strongest. But these were his brothers, he didn't want to hurt them.

"Shit shit shit fuck fuck fuck..." Carmine then slammed the sniper rifle from his other brother's hands, breaking the barrel.

Then he made a run for it. He did not want to deal with this. He can't. No matter what.

The two chased him. But Clayton was faster.

After a good two-minute sprint he encountered the ponies once again. But they were being pursued by the last remaining theron sentinel.

Carmine wasted no time and slammed the monster to the ground. He started stomping on his head while enraged. Eventually he got tired of it so Carmine proceeded to rip off the locusts arms and started repeatedly hitting him with it.

"GAAAH!" Clayton shouted while throwing the arm against the dead locust's face.

Rarity and Fluttershy never seen Carmine this upset. He was always laid back and even if he got aggresive he never got this enraged. Without any remorse he continued kicking the lifeless body of the theron guard.

"W-what's going on Mr. Carmine." Fluttershy peeped. Still startled by what is going on.

"Yes. Is there any reason for this... ruthless behavior?" Rarity tried to maintain her lady-like status.

"Discord... That fucking goat. He corrupted my brothers!" Carmine yelled annoyed.

"Oh my..." Fluttershy realised Carmine's brother meant everything to him. "But if they're corrupted they're not really your brothers? They're not real." She tried to calm Clayton down.

"Not my brothers? Are you fucking serious. Discord tried the same thing on me. Are you saying I'm not real?"

"No It's just that-"

"No. Just stop it. They're as real as you and me. And they won't stop untill we're dead..."

"Darling. I think you should calm down for a moment and thi-" Rarity was interupted.

"NO YOU CALM DOWN!" Carmine would normally apologize after losing his temper. But he couldn't take it anymore.

Discord. He hated him. More then anything now.

But there was only one thing he could do right now. He heard footsteps nearing him. They were coming.

Carmine could give them the one thing they deserved. A honorable death like a warrior and true soldier on the battlefield.

He didn't want to to this. But there were no other options. He had to make this decision. And he had to do it all alone.

"What are you going to do?" Fluttershy asked.

"What should've been done in the first place..."

Be prepared.

Carmine stepped away from his cover. Revealing himself to his corrupted brothers. They quickly approached him with the intent to kill.

Anthony was first to arrive. As he gotten within melee range of the COG soldier he immediatly stabbed his lancer's chainsaw straight in to his stomach.

"I'm so sorry bro." Carmine said as he activated the device. Shredding Anthony's insides to pieces. Not soon after he fell lifeless to the forest's floor.

R.I.P. Anthony Carmine.

Benjamin was next. He was slighty further but unarmed. His longshot was already crushed by Clayton.

"Aaah!" Benjamin also started charging mindlessly towards the COG soldier.

But once again as he got in melee range Clayton was able to pick him up and throw him over his shoulder against a nearby tree. Before Benjamin was able to stand up Clayton proceeded to step on his hands preventing him from trying anything.

Benjamin just had an empty stare on his face. Even with the helmet Carmine could see nothing left of the brother he once had.

He aimed his gnasher shotgun directly at his brother's face. He fired two rounds which was more then enough.

R.I.P. Benjamin Carmine.

Carmine just kept standing there, eventually falling to his knees. No expression on his face. Nothing could describe the pain he felt. But never has more thoughts of hatred and vengeance entered the COG soldier's mind. He hated Discord for doing this.

But he hated himself more. For what he did could not be forgiven. What would their father say if he knew that Clayton shot his brothers without any second-thought? It was terrible, but it was the truth. It's something he had to live with.

"CARMINE! WATCH OUT!" Rarity suddenly shouted.

Carmine slowly turned his head as he saw one more theron guard missing a leg, armed with a torque bow, aiming it towards him.

That's right. The locust from before. Carmine forgot to finish him off. Slowly he turned his face back to the ground.

He took off his helmet and threw it towards the two ponies.

*THUMP* *CLICK* *BEEP*

The arrow that got shot was stuck in his arm. He gave one final salute.

*BEEP*

Never thought it would end like this.

*BOOM*

This is my punishment.

The arrow exploded blowing of a part of Clayton Carmine's arm and leg.

Carmine didn't even feel the pain anymore. Slowly everything around him started turning black. It didn't take long for him to bleed out.

R.I.P. Clayton Carmine.

The ponies could only watch their friend enter the afterlife before their eyes. They did not know what to do. The locust was still around, did they have to kill it? Luckily they didn't have to do anything.

Ulfgar, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash arrived at the scene shortly after.

"No... N-not him." Ulfgar said shocked and so were the ponies.

The dovakhiin leaped at the remaining theron completely incinerating him to dust with his fire magic filled by the power of his rage.

Ulfgar looked at Rarity and Fluttershy and noticed from reactions they were devastated from what occured.

Ulfgar did the only thing he could think off.

"You won't be forgotten brother." Ulfgar said to Carmine's lifeless body.

He then started digging a grave with his bare hands.
