First Experience
It was a cold winter day in Ponyville. Rainbow Dash was flying across the sky to pass the time. "Man, Hearth's Warming is almost one week away and I haven't been able to decorate yet.
I really need some help! Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy are busy making cookies and Applejack is passing out gifts to everypony. I haven't even made the cards yet! Maybe Twilight and Spike could help me out.
Rainbow flew to Twilight's house and knocked on the door. Twilight opened the door and said "Hi Rainbow Dash!" she replied saying "Hi Twilight".
"Take a seat Rainbow, there's something I want to warn you about."
Twilight invited her into her house. Spike came in and greeted Rainbow. Twilight said to Rainbow "So I've been studying this dimension named Limbo.".
"When somepony is about to get killed, they are brought to another dimension and have one minute to try and fix their death by manipulating the environment.".
"Time stops since it's an out of body experience. If they are able to manipulate it correctly, they will have another chance of life. If they fail, then they go on with their death.".
Rainbow replied saying "So ponies get another chance to live by trying to stop the cause of death?" she replied with a yes.
"Twilight! I need your help!" yelled Spike from across the kitchen. "I'll be right there Spike!" Twilight replied "Hold on a second Rainbow".
She ran into the kitchen and left Rainbow alone. She told herself "A second chance before death huh?" with a confused voice.
After a few minutes, Spike got out of the kitchen and brought a tray of cookies. Spike asked Rainbow "Want some cookies Rainbow?". She answered with a yes. She took a cookie and tried one. "Wow this is delicious!" Spike replied "Thanks!".
Twilight went back to the room where they were and sat down with them. Rainbow asked them "So anyway, can you guys help me with my Hearth's Warming decorations? I haven't even made the cards yet!" she asked while laughing. Both of them said "Sure we'd love to he-"
All of a sudden the ground started shaking. All three of them yelled "Earthquake!!!". The earthquake caused the bookshelf next to them to fall down where they are.
They all screamed. Just before the second they were about to be crushed, time stopped, the world around them turned black and white, they became transparent and saw their real bodies next to the bookshelf. Spike and Rainbow stood without a clue whats happening.
The shocked Twilight said to them "It... It can't be... Rainbow, Spike... Do not panic but we're in the Limbo dimension.". The astonished Spike and Rainbow looked at Twilight after she spoke.
"No no no no no! This isn't happening! We're gonna die!" She said in a panicked voice. She continued panicking. Rainbow held Twilight's shoulders and shook her.
"Twilight get a hold of yourself! Listen, you said that we have one minute to fix our death right?" She replied with a yes in a mixture of fear and stress.
"I remembered you said that we are able to move the stuff around us to stop our death. Since the earthquake made the bookshelf fall on us, the thing we need to do is to move that stupid thing out of the way!"
"Ok ok ok... I could really use some comic relief now. Anyway, lets move this thing.". Just when Rainbow and Twilight turned around, they saw that the bookshelf was already back in it's normal position. Spike was standing next to it panting with an exhausted looking face.
"Woah Spike what happened?" Said Rainbow. "Well when you guys were off talking away, I had to push bookshelf back where it was by myself!". The two ponies looked at Spike and the bookshelf in astonishment.
"So you pushed it by yourself?" Spike replied with a yes "Wow I'm surprised. Oh yeah Twilight Sparkle remember when you said you wanted some comic relief? Well you got it." Said Rainbow Dash.
Their one minute passed and they got sent back to the real dimension. They got back to where they were standing and saw that Twilight's entire library was a wreck. "Oh my..." said Twilight to herself. "Whew that was close..." said Spike.
Twilight began to clean up the books scattered all over the floor with her magic. "I'll just come back later. See you guys later!". Spike and Twilight waved goodbye to Rainbow.
Rainbow Dash started to fly back to her house. When she got there she started to decorate the Christmas tree. After a few hours, she was able to finish all of her Christmas gifts and tree.
"I. Am. Exhausted" said Rainbow Dash before she collapsed on her bed.
The next day, Rainbow heard someone knocking on the door in the middle of the night. She got up and stood half-asleep. She started walking to the door in a zombie-like matter. She opened the door without knowing it.
She closed her eyes and fell asleep while standing up. She heard a voice calling out to her.
"Rainbow... Rainbow. Rainbow! RAINBOW DASH!!!" yelled the voice.
Rainbow was still asleep murmuring to someone in her dream "No Pinkie... I don't wanna help you make... cupcakes... I've read the... Story before...".
She heard footsteps running into the kitchen. She noticed that the sink was turned on. The footsteps came back to where she was. Rainbow heard a splash of water and felt something cold on her face.
She yelled out "NO PINKIE DON'T PULL THAT OUT!".
It was Spike who was calling out to her. Spike explained to Rainbow with a rushing voice "Listen Rainbow Dash, Twilight found out that when somepony survives the Limbo Dimension, somepony else has to die.".
Since we got a second chance, death is looking for his next soul to take away. Rainbow paused and closed her eyes to analyze what Spike said.
When she was finished she yelled "WHAT!!! So anypony can die!!?". Spike answered with a yes and said
"Yeah but, just come to my house and me and Twilight will explain everything. "See ya later!" said Spike.
She closed the door and collapsed to where she was standing.
Sleeping.
Who's next?
It was a wonderful morning in Ponyville. The sunshine traveled to Rainbow Dash's window and shined her face. She woke up on the floor where she collapsed from exhaustion last night.
"Woah what happened? When did I sleep here? Why's there a puddle of water on the floor?". Lots of questions filled her mind. "Hmmm, why do I have the feeling I forgot something really important?".
Rainbow got up walked around in a circle trying to figure out what she forgot. "Man I cannot remember anything! Alright I'll retrace my steps. That always works."
"So I was flying around the sky and I went to Pinkie's house to make cupcakes. She gave me a cupcake, ate it, and fell asleep. Later on, I woke up tied to this table. Then she... Oh wait that was my dream... I don't think I should be with Pinkie for a while.".
All of a sudden, she heard a knock on the door. "Who would wake up this early." Said Rainbow with a confused face. She rubbed her eyes with her hooves and walked to the door across from her. She opened the door and saw Princess Celestia.
"P-Princess C-Celestia!!? Get out of here you sick pervert! I still remembered what you did to me and my friends a long time ago!" (Note: This is a reference to the fanfic "Princess Molestia" by StreakTheFox).
Princess Celestia replied to Rainbow Dash "Oh um... Yes sorry about what I did... Honestly I thought everybody forgot about that. Well anyway, we received information from Twilight Sparkle that you, her, and Spike experienced and survived the Limbo Dimension. There is some very important details we need to tell you about TLD.".
"Wait, whats TLD?"
"Oh it's an acronym for the Limbo Dimension. See the author didn't want to write it over and over again in the story."
"Wait a minute, what author, what story?!!"
Princess Celestia sighed and said "Look, just go to Twilight's house and talk to her about TLD.".
Just before Rainbow Dash had a chance to respond to her sentence, Celestia flew away back to where she came from. Rainbow noticed a piece of paper on the floor. It reads:
"Dear Rainbow Dash,
Can you tell the ponies who I... Touched that I'm really sorry that I... harassed them? Thank you.
Sincerely, Princess Celestia "
"That's weird." Said Rainbow Dash. "It's usually Twilight, Fluttershy, Pinkie, Applejack, Rarity, Spike and me who write the letters. I still can't forget what she did to me... You know what, just for payback, I won't say anything to them."
After she finished talking, she closed the door and said to herself "What did she say?". She walked into her kitchen to make breakfast. Just when she got in there, she heard a voice say "Are you stupid or something?!! I said go to Twilight's house now!".
"Oh yeah I had to go to Twilight's house. Maybe I'll go when I eat breakfast.".
"DID YOU HEAR ME I SAID NOW!!!".
"What's that voice?".
Rainbow Dash heard a sigh but ignored it. She continued making her breakfast.
A Few Hours Later...
"Are you finished yet?!!" Said the voice. She looked around the room after she finished eating her breakfast and said "This is getting really weird. I thought I was supposed to here the voices after that cupcake nightmare shows up every night." (Note: Rocket to Insanity reference). "Well time to go to Twilight's house.".
She opened the door and exited her house. Rainbow prepared to fly and took off with a strong and cold wind following behind her.
As she was flying, she saw clouds of smoke all over the sky. "Why's there so much smoke?" She said with a confused voice. "Maybe I should just travel by hoof.". Rainbow flew down and landed on the ground.
When she landed on the ground, she saw Pinkie Pie's house burnt down. "What happened!!?" Said Rainbow Dash. A pony who was investigating the scene walked to Rainbow. "Excuse me but you cannot go pass the police tape."
"Can you at least tell me what's going on?!!"
"Well as you can see, Pinkie's house burned down."
"Have you found out the cause of the fire?!!"
"Yes, it appears she left a pie in the oven which eventually lit her oven on fire."
"Oh my Equestria!!! Wheres Pinkie Pie?!!"
"She's over there with Doctor Whooves."
Rainbow Dash saw Doctor Whooves sitting next to Pinkie's body. "Let me see her!" Yelled Rainbow dash. "Don't worry, she maybe burnt but, shes not in critical condition." Said the investipony.
"Oh my Equestria shes dying!" Yelled Dr. Whooves. The two ponies yelled "WHAT!!!". "Oh it's not Pinkie Pie I'm watching Fluttershy do stand up comedy.". "Since when did Fluttershy start doing stand up comedy?" Asked Rainbow.
"Just yesterday. Anyway time to take that liver out-
The two ponies looked back at him with shocked faces.

"Ooh heh heh heh that's pretty funny actually." Said Rainbow. "But now I really need to see Pinkie.". She ran to Pinkie without caring about the other ponies in her way. She shoved them out of the way to meet her fallen friend. As she finally got there, Doctor Whooves said to her "She only has a few minutes left, you should probably say goodbye to her...". Rainbow leaned with her hoof next to Pinkie.
"Pinkie Pie... No NO you can't die now! Think of me! Think of Twilight, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, and Spike! It's... It's not even Hearth's Warming yet! Your a fighter darn IT A FIGHTER! I can't let you go now! Think of how Ponyville will be like! You are the pony who gives us all our smiles! Now is not the time Pinkie... Not now...". Rainbow Dash fell down crying next to her after she finished her tearful sentences.
"R-Rainbow D-Dash." Said Pinkie Pie with a tired and Raspy voice. "It's ok... Everypony has to... go on someday... and at some time... Now is my time to go on... It hurts Rainbow Dash... It hurts.". Her eye's became watery. A few tears ran down her cheek.
"Pinkie I... I... DR.WHOOVES! IS THERE ANYTHING WE CAN DO TO SAVE HER!!?" Dr.Whooves looked back at her and shook his head left to right. "No... No... Pinkie fight it! You may say that it's your time but it's not!" Said Rainbow Dash. Her face drenched with her tears.
"There, there It's all right... We'll get a chance to see each other again... Rainbow I- I- I think I'll take a long nap now..." Pinkie's eyes are half way closed.
Rainbow replied "Goodbye Pinkie... I'll never forget you." then Pinkie said "Goodbye Rainbow... Goodbye... every...pony." Her eyes let out her final tear right before they closed.
She noticed Pinkie wasn't breathing anymore. "Pinkie? Pinkie?!! PINKIE?!!!"
"I'm sorry Rainbow but we have to go now." Twilight Sparkle showed up behind her and held her hoof to go to her house. "No... I CAN'T LEAVE HER LIKE THIS!!!".
"RAINBOW DASH THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO PINKIE IS DEAD AND WE CAN'T CHANGE IT!!!"
"I just need to say my final goodbye!". When Rainbow Dash was free from Twilight's hoof. She ran back to Pinkie's body. She heard a pony singing in the background while she was running.
"And I will always love you!" (Whitney Houston reference)
Twilight used her magic to grab Rainbow's tail and dragged her away. Rainbow said to herself "Goodbye Pinkie... You will always be in my heart."
