Chapter 5: Good morning

          Octavia woke up to a bright and early morning. Most of the time that's how she liked it. This however was not one of this times. The light was shining right threw Octavia's window and directly into her eyes. "Nnnhh"Octavia groaned. "What happened last night?" She asked herself.  She licked her unbelievably chapped lips. "That's odd"she thought to herself "My lips taste different." She again said to herself. They tasted different but not in a bad way. They were actually kind of sweet, like candy. She probably had eaten candy or something. So Octavia shrugged it off not giving it a second thought. She then gathered the will power to climb out of bed. She then slowly walked out of her room and into the shower.

         Vinyl had woken up on account that she had just rolled off the couch "ooooww"she groaned muzzle deep into the carpet. Wait carpet Vinyl didn't have carpet. Mostly because tile was easier to clean. She stood up and looked around and found herself in a much better apartment than hers. She looked around wondering how she got there having almost no memory of last night."Did some stallion take home with him?" She asked herself. "Or some mare." She said blushing a little. Vinyl was a fillyfooler although she wasn't quit comfortable with it yet on account that she had just discovered it."Well maybe we didn't...you know do anything, I did just wake up on the couch, or floor." She said breathing calmly. "Yeah. Ok let's see what happend last night. I...uh...finished my set and I decided      to....uhhh....have a few drinks." She said trying to remember. "Then I got a little drunk and met somepony. But not just any pony somepony I knew. Her name was o...oc..oc..OCTY!!! Yeah Octy. Wait I thought she hated me Hahn never mind that let's see." She said trying to remember more. "We were both drunk and she walked me home but I guess we came to her house instead." She said. Then she began to remember something that had happened at Octavia's front door. "Did I kiss her?" She asked herself blushing like crazy. "I did didn't I?"Vinyl was now so red that her face almost looked like a tomato. "We're is Octy?" She said in a shaky voice. Just when she said that she heard a door open.

          Octavia stepped out of the bathroom she had already done her hair and she was waring her purple bow tie. When she walked in the living room and saw a white unicorn with an electric blue mane at first she was scared not knowing who this pony was until she said

"Oh...umm....hey Octy." Then the memory's of last night came flooding back.

"Right....ummm....good morning uuuhhh." Octavia couldn't remember the ponies name. It was ummmm vi...vi... Vinyl!!!," Vinyl good morning Vinyl." Octavia said smiling.

"Thanks for letting me crash here last night." Vinyl said her voice still shaky.

Octavia stared at Vinyl she was still waring her sunglasses, which Octavia thought was kind of odd, and her front legs were crossed, and her face was as red as a tomato.

"Umm...no problem." Octavia said smiling. This maid Vinyl more relaxed.

"Ummm are you alright your face is a little red?" Octavia asked.

"Yeah I'm fine." Vinyl said quickly.

"Are you sure?" Octavia asked concerned.

"Yeah I'm totally fine." Vinyl responded.

"Alright if you insist." Octavia said dropping the subject.

           Octavia was recollecting the events of last night when she had remembered most of what had happened she didn't remember blacking out not in her bed. She then looked at Vinyl and asked,"umm Vinyl how did I get inside. As a matter of fact how did I get in my bed?".

"Oh we were talking and you blacked out in front of your door, and then I...I..."Vinyl then remembered what happened next, and wasn't about to tell her," I picked you up and carried you inside that's it." Vinyl said a little to loud.

Octavia found that odd but quickly turned her attention to what Vinyl had said. " You had to carry me inside?"she asked really embarrassed.

"Welllll.... Yeah." Vinyl said with a smirk.

It was Octavia's turn to turn into a tomato. "Well umm thank you, and I'm sorry for the inconvenience." Octavia apologized.

"No problem." Vinyl said smiling. " now come on we're leaving." Vinyl said.

"What? Were are we going?" Octavia asked curious, scared, and worried.

"Well since you let me crash here I'm treating you to breakfast."Vinyl said still smiling. Vinyl was trying to be really nice because she wanted Octavia to like her. "I really want her to like me." Vinyl thought. "So what do you say?" Vinyl asked a grin on her face.

"Well I don't know I wouldn't want to be a burden, more than I already have you having to carry me inside last night and all." Octavia said looking down hooves.

"I told you no worries besides if it weren't for you I'd probably be walking up on the street right now." Vinyl said still smiling.

        Octavia thought for a moment and when she was about to open her mouth her stomach growled rather loudly. She then looked at Vinyl who was extending a hoof, and giving her the  "I know you want to"look."Fine were are we going?" Asked Octavia.

"You'll see. Now let's go eat my treat." Vinyl said happily already heading out the door.

"Why do I have the feeling I am going to regret this." Octavia murmured also trotting out the door to what she hoped would be a nice day.
