Chapter 3: a night to try Remember        

     As Octavia trotted up to the club she flipped her ears back and winced in pain. The music here is so loud. I could her it a block away. Uuuuuggghhh I have to go in there. She thought but before she could continue thinking voice interrupted her train of thought.

"Octavia you came!" Before she could respond Bon Bon's hooves were already rapped around her neck hugging her.

"Of course I came I said I'd come and I did"Octavia said with a smile. Then looked at the club behind Bon Bon. It was a really big building that was just plain white no windows just two double doors, and a really big stallion guarding it. "We have to go in there?" Octavia said with a slight hint of fear in her voice.

"Suuuuurrrreee are!!! You ready?"

"I......" Before she could finish her sentence Bon Bon grabbed her and pushed her inside " Come on Lyra's already inside and probably wasted. So we have some catching up to do!!!" They passed the bouncer with ease and the fact Bon Bon had slipped a few bits in the stallions shirt pocket.

     As soon as Octavia stepped hoof inside she was instantly hit by a wave of sounds.

"Where's Lyra!!!!" Octavia shouted over the loud music.

"Ummm....over there!!!"she shouted back.

     About 10ft away was a very drunk and happy Lyra dancing on the dance floor. "There she is!" Bon Bon yelled over the music. "Come on let's go join her!"

"Actually I think I'll go have a drink!" Octavia yelled back

           Well Bon Bon was dancing with Lyra Octavia trotted up to the bar and sat at an empty seat. Well she was sitting she looked back.

     Uuugghh how could ponies just dance like that all sweaty and sticky just thinking about it makes me want to take a shower.

"Hello" the bartender said interrupting Octavia's thoughts "what can I get you." The bartender said.

"Oh...I'll have a glass of wine she." said  "WHOOHOO!!!!!!" Octavia looked back to see who was yelling. It was Lyra and Bon Bon they were both incredibly drunk "YEAH!!!!! WERE SO F***** WASTED!!!"screamed Lyra and Bon Bon in unison.

      How did Bon Bon get drunk so fast. What a light weight. Octavia thought then turned around to face the the bar tender

    "Make that a shots of vodka, berban, tequila, and some scotch."

"Erm isn't that a little much for a small mare like you?" The bartender asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Trust me I can handle it ."Octavia said.

"If you say so." The bartender stated as he reluctantly began pouring Octavia her drink.

          Vinyl was at the mixing table playing her tunes, and she had already forgotten about the mare who had walked in the club a few moments ago. She wasn't going to let some mare put her off her game. Vinyl was really mixing it up today more than usual she really had every pony dancing they looked like they were having a good time. She was really dropping the bass as she was she looked at the clock and she realized it had already been an hour so she drove the song to a close and spoke. "Alright everypony that's it for me so please welcome Neon Lights!!!" The crowd went wild as Vinyl stepped down and Neon stepped up and began playing his tunes.

            Vinyl was really happy with her self she had started with a bad morning and ended with a good night. Well it wasn't over yet Vinyl had to do something really Important and that thing was to get unbelievably wasted. She trotted up to the bar opposite of a certain pony she had yet to notice."Yo Mixer!"Vinyl yelled at the bartender. "The usual extra rum."

"You got it Vinyl." Mixer said happily

         By Vinyl's fifth usual, which was a mixture of vodka, rum, and hard cider. She was unbelievably smashed beyond belief. Same thing for the mare across the bar her was on her sixth vodka shot. Vinyl was about ready to go home so she got off her seat and began to walk over to the other side of the bar towards the exit when all of a sudden, THUD!!! Vinyl had bumped into some pony and they had fell to the ground the pony she was now on top of was cursing or at least Vinyl thought she was cursing she couldn't tell because the mare she was on top of was slurring her words or she thought is was a mare she couldn't tell her vision was blurry at the moment. When it returned she was able to focus on the figure she was on top of. It was a gray earth pony.

"Ow that really hurt." Octavia said her muzzle deep in the floor.

"Oops my bad hey wait a minute....aren't you that, hic! mare I yelled at earlier today? Hic!. " asked Vinyl as she got off of Octavia."Yer name was octopuse right?" asked Vinyl again.

"Actually I'm Octavia oh.... it's Hic! you." Octavia stated flatly.

"Hey don't be like that Octy..."

"Actually it's Ovtavi..."

"Yeah yeah well I'm calling you Octy" Vinyl interrupted.

"But..."

"So how have you Hic been." Vinyl said interrupting Octavia's sentence again.

"Uhhhmmm....good....I-I think."Octavia said really confused.

"That's good... Thas realllleh good." Vinyl said feeling slightly woozy.

"I-I don't understand." Octavia said now really confused.

"Don't get what?" Vinyl asked now she was confused.

"I thought you hates me for dissing your music." Octavia said feeling a bit woozy as well.

"What no...I just get a fended easily when it comes to my music." Vinyl replied with a grin.

"Oh...well uhhmm."Octavia didn't know what to say. "Well for what it's worth I apologize"Octavia said feeling a bit guilty.

"What... Oh, no sweat. Sorry I called you a" Vinyl paused she couldn't remember what they were talking about " What were we talking about." Vinyl asked.

"I dunno" Octavia said feeling really woozy now.

"Hey Octy are we friends now?" Asked Vinyl.

"I-I thinxs so" Octavia said slurring her words a bit.

" Good because I need somepony to help me home because I'm wasted!" Vinyl yelled giggling a little.

"What but I came here with my other friends." Octavia said. That and she wasn't to happy about having to take the same mare who had insulted her home. She then remembers she had to keep an I on her friends. She scanned the room searching for her friends at last she she spotted them walking out the front door.

"Ooh great they've left me." Octavia thought to her self. "Great how am I supposed to get home now I can't go walking out all by my lonesome I'll get mugged or kidnaped." She thought. She then looked at the very intoxicated mare beside her smiling at her with a very sloppy grin.

"Weelllll?" Asked Vinyl with a very happy grin on her face

"Fiiiiiinnneee!!!!" Octavia said giving in. "But could you have to walk me half way to my house!" Octavia stated.

"Deal!" Exclaimed Vinyl "Come on let's go." She commanded

Octavia jumped of her stool only to fall flat on her flank. She hadn't realized how drunk she was. Well Octavia was struggling to get up Vinyl was on her back laughing.

"This is going to be a long walk." She stated slightly irritated
