Two mares lied together in bed. One asleep, the other awake. The one asleep was dreaming about a beautiful musical mare, dreaming about holding her close and not ever wanting to let go.

             The other mare who was awake was staring at the sleeping mare. Admiring her beautiful electric blue mane, her smooth looking face. She took in each and every one of the mare's features, from her jaw line, to her cute muzzle. But there was one thing in the way of her flawless face.......her big round purple glasses.

Why is she still wearing those?

Octavia thought to herself. It was then that Octavia realized that she hasn't even seen Vinyl without those silly glasses.

Surely she wouldn't mind if I took them off her for her. She probably would be more comfortable anyway.

Octavia then reached over, and slowly took Vinyl's glasses off. She stared at Vinyl's closed eyes, admiring her long eyelashes.

"She's beautiful." Octavia breathed, causing the white sleeping angel before her to stir.

"Hhmm Octy? What are you doing?" Vinyl asked as she sat up.

Her eyes are red.  Octavia thought. There so incredible!

"Octy!?" Vinyl whispered harshly. "What the heck are you doing?"  

"Why do you like me?" Octavia asked. Vinyl's heart froze.  

How did she find out?!?!

"wha-what do mean?" Vinyl stuttered.

"I mean there are hundreds of ponies who you could have been friends with. So why did you choose me?" Octavia asked.

Vinyl, looked at Octavia. After a minute or two Vinyl spoke.

"Well I don't know, you just seemed like a nice pony."

And the fact that you're the most beautiful mare I've ever seen!

"Vinyl.....can I try something crazy? Well crazy to me at least.  Octavia asked not losing eye contact with Vinyl for a second.

"Uuuhh.....s-sure." Vinyl said nervously. "What are you gonna d-" she was then cut off by Octavia smashing her lips into hers. "Hhhmm!?"Vinyl said into Octavia's lips before closing her eyes and slowly losing herself in the kiss.

             Vinyl wrapped her hooves around Octavia's waist, while Octavia wrapped her hooves around Vinyl's neck. There lips were so soft, and the way they moved was in perfect harmony......they were losing themselves in their kiss. Vinyl slowly slid her tongue across Octavia's bottom lip asking for permission. Octavia happily obliged. The feeling of Vinyl's tongue on Octavia's was mind blowing. Unfortunately like all good the things in Octavia's life the kiss had to end when they both realized that ponies need oxygen. They both reluctantly pulled away from each other. Vinyl stared into Octavia's eyes looking for some sort of answer for what just happened.

"Octy....do....will you...does this mean like me?" Vinyl asked nervously. Octavia looked straight at Vinyl. Did she like Vinyl?

What would my friends think? Who am I kidding they'd be jumping for joy. What would mother think?

Octavia was deep in thought. She looked deep into Vinyl's eyes, and for once in her life she made a big decision, without her mother. And it was the best thing that ever happened to her.

"Yes" Octavia said a smile on her lips.

"Really?" Vinyl asked hoping she wasn't joking. Octavia leaned over and pecked her on the lips.

"Really." Octavia replied before resting her head on Vinyls chest, and falling asleep. Vinyl stared at the beautiful mare laying on her chest.

This is nice.....Vinyl is nice....Life is nice, I hope I made the right decision. And besides If this is wrong, I don't want to be right.Octavia thought happily.

Well....Vinyl thought. I'm in love.
