Chapter 1 Vinyl Scratch

                  and Octavia Melody

     She was a white unicorn with an electric blue mane. Her name was Vinyl, Vinyl Scratch, and she was lying down passed out from a party she had attended. She was born and raised in Ponyville, but some how convinced  her parents to let her move to Canterlot when she was 16 to pursue her life long dream of becoming a DJ. Vinyl was popular but not to popular to the point were ponies were begging for her autograph every were she went, well at least not yet. Her name was Vinyl Scratch but most ponies knew her as DJ-Pon3!!!To her she had a perfect life, full of life and adventure, but mostly excitement she couldn't get enough excitement.

     Vinyl works as a DJ, disk-jockey. Her usual place of work is at a club in Canterlot called club Canterlot. Her idea of a good time is playing music and drinking with her freind and just plain chilling.

     Vinyl woke up earlier than she usually would. Four hours earlier to be exact." What the buck it's 6:30. Did I sleep all day?" Then she noticed that the clock said 6:30AM. "Uuuuuhhh!!! Why am i awake so early!!!"she said to her self as she tried to go back to bed. But something was wrong she couldn't. She kept tossing and turning in her sleep. "Oh Celestia kill me pleeaassee!!!!" So out of sheer will power Vinyl found the strength to climb out of bed and make her self breakfast. Exempt for one little problem, she had no idea how to cook. Usually she'd go over to a friends house and eat whatever they had but unfortunately that was during lunch witch was usually around 12:00PM, so completely out of options she grabbed a few bits off her counter and headed out the door praying that some type of restraunt, or cafe was open.

     She was a an earth pony with an ash grey coat and charcoal black mane. Her name was Octavia, Octavia Melody, and by now she was already awake practicing her cello. She looked at the clock. 6:00AM. She desisted to practice for a little longer. Like Vinyl Octavia moved to Canterlot to, but she moved when she was 18, and she was born in manehaten. Again like Vinyl she moved to Canterlot to persue  her life long dream of becoming a famous musician. But unlike Vinyl, Octavia was more into classical music. She had friends and although they were all about the same age as her you could tell Octavia was much more sophisticated than her friends were.

     Octavia works as a soloist, she performs in many places playing her cello. Her idea of a good time was relaxing at home listening to some classical music with a cup of tea. She doesn't mind having friends join her but they often get to bored and leave. So for the most part Octavia was alone.

     As Octavia played her last note of her piece, she held the note out nice and long. Octavia let the note die out as she exhaled, then set down her bow. She carefully placed her cello back into its case making sure not to do any damage. Then she trotted down stairs to her kitchen to make some breakfast. She had many things to choose from things such as apple, strawberries, cheese, carrots, and pancake mix. For a moment she considered making pancakes but then a sudden rush of laziness over came her. Maybe I should just go out and eat she thought to herself. "Wait a second why in equestria would I go wast bits on food when I have plenty right here!" She grabbed the pancake mix and as she was about to open it, another sudden rush of laziness hit her. "Uuuuuhhhh" she groaned as she grabbed several bits and walked out the door hoping there was a restraunt or a small cafe open.
