Hey everybody, Tag here with some background notes I made while writing Shadows. This is basically ideas that I got out of nowhere and sometimes ended up changing a large part of the story. This is also where I argued with myself about things when I couldn’t say them out loud (Late night writing, middle of math class)
Anyway, I took out any spoilers that I could find so there are no worries. So feel free to read what Shadows might have been.

Discord visits in dreams
Gives the knife powerful enough to kill any being
Celestia involved and Tag freaks out when he sees her
Celestia recognizes Tag
Tag was originally created to assassinate the princesses
Tag Shadow named for magic to turn invisible by bending light or “tagging shadows”
After Discord breaks free at the beginning of season 2 Tag was also released from his stony prison hence only a few weeks of memory
Rarity offers him work in her boutique (eventually asks her on date because of her generosity)
First day Celestia severs the link between Tag and Discord so he doesn’t want to kill her and Luna
Discord brainwashes Tag into going to kill Princess Celestia
Tag decides to kill Discord after Rarity reasons with him (confesses love?)
An unknown amount of time passes and then they are about to get married that is the epilogue (What?)
Tag becomes part of the “Mane 6” or something
Drama with Spike over Rarity
Then another story happens, but it is another fiction
During fight with Discord Tag is gravely injured, Tor uses too many arrows and falls unconscious, Rarity runs to him desperately and he finally asks her to marry him (romantic fool)
Tag is gifted fashion colt (later)

Have to research other clopfics for how to write sex scenes (wtf is wrong with me?)

Tag had a brother called Tor who was created to deal with Luna, he was given Torais to do so, and Tag was given Tagia both are capable of killing gods. Torais is a bow.
Tor comes in shortly after the first date, he is still in ‘rage mode’ and is released in the presence of Tag, afterwards he tries to commit suicide because he was dishonorable. Tag helps him see the light.
Tor works on the farm (Marries Applejack? I don’t know)(dear Celestia what the heck is wrong with me?)
Tor gets married in the sequel if there is one
Tor cries the first night

NO SINGING
Goes to meet Zecora
FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING FUCKING RYTHME

Tag and Tor take out everyone to dinner Rarity gets drunk and Fluttershy gets drunk Fluttershy taken home by Rainbow Dash. Tag and Tor take Rarity home because it’s on the way. Sweetie belle isn’t home; Rarity freaks out and finds a note saying Cutie mark crusaders Zecora helpers or something. Tor goes to get everyone Rarity stays at home because she’s drunk and Sweetie might come home. Cutie mark crusaders are being attacked by something Tag saves them when they get home Rarity kisses Tag on the cheek for being a hero; Tag stays in that one spot all night

Luna has trouble talking to Tag because of Water Drop

Tag and Tor connected because when they were severed from discord they connected to each other, they live off of each other so if one dies they both die.

Tagia and Torais both can talk to their owners, have spirits inside them through binding and the enchantments

Spirits in Tagia and Torais are original ponies whose bodies Discord stole to make Tag and Tor

Celestia didn’t want to make them feel really bad by telling them they were using another pony’s body

Tag gets frustrated that everpony hates him and runs of into the forest, mane 6 and Tor look, Rarity finds him. they talk about feelings and such and kiss for real (?)

Tag gets into fight with Rarity, he tries to commit suicide, Discord steps in and makes Tag try to kill Celestia. Threw Tagia away in a fit of anger.

Asking someone out on a date is freaking hard. Writing about it is even harder.
SWEET CELESTIA WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?????

FRAKING FIRST DATE!!!!! WHY??????

Discord pulling the strings so that Tag gets into the fight.

FUTSING NO MORE RYTHMING TAG WAKES UP ON THE EDGE OF THE EVERFREE

Don’t forget the Spike drama

Discord is a trickster

Discord sends fake Tag they find in Zecora’s hut meanwhile he inches Tag towards his control while getting him back to Canterlot

Tor looks for the statue of Discord and sees Iron Hoof in front of it. The next day the statue is gone and Tor’s suspicions are aroused.

Tag gets back to Manehattan and is harassed by guards; he kills them in the dead of night.

After Tag is back under Discord’s control he gallops for Canterlot without stopping for food or drink.

Tac is a unicorn (need to remember)
Iron is an earthpony
Tome is a unicorn
It’s hard to be deep when you’re shallow

Tag’s dream portrays how I think the fandom portrays the mane six and other characters (Rarity sex fiend/ex-porn star, Pinkie serial killer, Rainbow Dash lesbian, Applejack incest, Fluttershy dunno, Twilight dunno, Spike trying to figure out who he is,)

In the dream Tor is missing the entire time until Tag finds him at home Tor kills Tag
(Oh god why?)

Second run through of the dream

The dream repeats over and over again, Tag has vague memories so it always ends the same way.

GO TO SLEEP!!!!

After second or third run through Mane 6 and Tor breakthrough to Tag and pull him out of his dream

Tag goes crazy after being under Discord’s influence for so long?

(Obviously not all of this went into the story but this is little notes and ideas that I had, I didn’t think that I would be posting this so it might not be phrased correctly or might seem weird. Anyway it’s been fun and I’ll see you all some other time. –Tag)
