The rain was pelting against the roof of Scoot's shelter. She tossed and turned sleeplessly, groaning as she pulled at her thin cover, failing to cover her whole body. The chill nipped at her flesh and she curled into a ball..

" Why can't I just have a better life like Dash? I want to be able to fly like her..I want to be as awesome.."

Scootaloo lifted up slowly and balanced on her hooves, as she stared at the shanty wall.

"Wait...I'M MEETING WITH DASH TODAY! Yes!"

Scoot jumped up and dashed around the room in utter excitement. She plopped down and smiled, 'What a wonderful day..what a wonderrfullllll..'  Her song was cut short as a sudden thought popped into her head.

"Oooooooh! Maybe Dash will will will will give me..Flying lessons!"

She smiled and flexed her tiny wings.

The lightning lit the sky and the thunder boomed, making her fly backwards in shock and squealed.

"Ooh...NO! Stupid lightning. I'm busy, Don't ruin my happy time!"

She paused as she listened for more thunder. Nothing else was heard and Scootaloo felt pretty powerful.

She fell back and closed her eyes, her mane fluffing as she hit the ground.

Scoot lay there for a moment but peeked an eye open..

"Waaiiit...What time is it?"
