"Hey, Twi! Happy Thanksgivin'!" Rainbow Dash cried out, waving at her unicorn friend, who was stepping out of the library down below her. The pegasus zoomed towards Twilight Sparkle, asking, "Doing anything for Thanksgiving?"

"No, nothing at all, really," Twilight replied, chuckling at her friend's antics. "How about you?"

"Nothin'. Except one thing. I'm going to participate in the Flying Feather Freestyle Flyoff!" Rainbow Dash cried out. "Isn't that awesome?"

Twilight laughed, "Sure is, Rainbow, sure is. Where's Scootaloo? I thought she said --"

"Oh, her. She went off with Sweetie Belle and Apple Bloom," Rainbow Dash explained. "Besides, how can a chicken who can't even fly hang out with someone like me?"

Twilight glared at her, causing Rainbow to laugh it off. "Seriously, Twi - you have zero sense of humour!"

"More like you've got a witty one," Twilight growled. She decided to change the subject, as the former was not one that made her feel comfortable. "Nice day, huh?"

"Sorta," Rainbow answered. She suddenly took out an envelope and handed it to her friend. "Oh - and that reminds me. Celestia wanted to give you a letter. Of course, since Spike was on vacation - I had to do it for ya. No, no, don't thank me. You're quite welcome."

"Thanks, Rainbow. Oh my, what's this?" Twilight asked, as she opened the letter. "Thanksgiving Dinner in honour of Princess Luna tonight? As in..tonight tonight?"

"So, Twi, what's it say?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"There's a Thanksgiving Dinner tonight, 8:00 PM! Oh - Rainbow! And she said EVERYPONY's going. We must hurry and make preparations! Here, tell everypony. I'm going to see the Princess."

Rainbow Dash nodded. "Yes, ma'am!" she bolted off, to inform her friends of the sudden event.

Due to Rainbow's speed and wing power, it did not take long till the mane six were informed.

Also, it happened that at the same time, Twilight returned. "Good work, Rainbow. Now, AppleJack - you take care of the food. Rarity, the decorations. Rainbow, you and the other pegasi can clean up the weather. It has to be a lovely sunny day, right? The Princess wants me at her palace. Pinkie Pie, you're in charge of the party supplies.Fluttershy, you give the invitations. That means everypony, Fluttershy. Bon Bon, Luna, Lyra, Octavia, Mayor Mare, Gilda, Discord."

"Gilda? Discord? Oh my!" Fluttershy cried out. She hid behind Rainbow Dash. Rainbow just stepped out of the way.

"Don't worry Twilight!" Pinkie Pie shouted. "We've got it covered!"

"Now let's get to work!" Twilight cried out. "Don't worry, Fluttershy. Do Gilda and Discord last - okay?"

"Oh my...um...I won't let you down, Twilight.." Fluttershy said, sniffing back tears. She let out a squeak, "Somehow!"
