Fate.
The only ones who truly know what fate is are those who have gone beyond it.
The weavers at their looms, the writers at their desks, the prophets at their podiums, they know nothing. They cannot foretell fate. They say your destiny is clear, yet all their crystal balls show is dense fog. They may write their prophecies, but nothing will ever come true. The only things that happen are by fate's decree.
The only true prophet is fate. The only true prophecies are spoken by his maw.
Many times he has offered guidance to the unsure. Many times has he offered help to the needy. Many times he has given the ugly truth, or a bright future.
Today, he offers it to a scarred alicorn with a rippling rainbow mane.
