Ch 4. The Interrogation

I approached the unconscious captain's body with intent of malice. I poked him with my foot, he quickly attempts to stand up, but was quickly subdued by a jolt of pain.

He glared at me with eyes of pure, bitter resentment, "You monster," He coughs out a bit of blood, "How did you manage to best me? Your friend didn't appear to be powerful in contrast to you." He asks.

I place my foot on his muzzle, "Don't ever mention my friend ever again, the reason why I just slaughtered your men is because of what you did to him."

"You- you what?" He choked out in disbelief.

"See for yourself." I grimly said with a ghastly smile as I removed my foot from his muzzle, and made way so that he could see the carnage behind me.

His reaction was priceless. He had a face that described the epitome of disbelief, he looks at me once more, "You vile creature, they were merely young stallions, and you butchered them all." He spewed.

"Yeah? And what? Just give up? You left me no choice." I said in defense.

He glares at me with cold eyes.

"Now then, I have some questions for ya." I stated, "And why should I care, beast? Because you're going to torture me and kill me if I won't answer them? I won't give you any information, even if it kills me." He spewed.

"Kill you? Oh no, I'm gonna finish off your soldiers. My changelings! Forget about what I said about taking them to the Hive! Rally the prisoners here!" I commanded, and they obeyed. They flocked the prisoners right in front of me and the battered captain.

"What? No! Don't I'll tell you everything you wish to know!" The captain pleaded in desperation.

"Sir! It's fine! We'll be more than glad to die than to give him info!" The feisty one from before stated. However, his statement somewhat contradicts itself, I could clearly see some of the Royal guards staring at him in disbelief.

"Let's test that theory, shall we?" I said before grabbing a random Royal guard from the line of prisoners with telekinesis. Damn, magic is convenient.

He struggled and flailed defiantly while screaming "no" repeatedly, I found it amusing, actually. I placed him in front of me and bound him to the ground with, of course, magic. I materialized a blade, and upon seeing this, the bound pony began to frantically thrash in vain.

The other guards looked in horror as I readied my blade, "So, tell me, captain. What is your name?" I simply questioned. Everyone seemed to be dumbfounded by my question.

The captain paused for a moment but then answered, "It's Morning Raid." He simply replied.

"Good, good. See? That wasn't hard at all!" I commented.

"Now then, next question, why was a wall created around Ponyville." I questioned.

"Monster," He coughs once more, "Monsters have been frequently assaulting that settlement, we were stationed there to guard it." He finally answers.

"Now then, next, did you inform the princess of my existence?" I asked.

"I told a messenger to go to send a message to her. But, the messenger's train hasn't left yet, his train to Canterlot will depart in the morning." He stated.

"Good, what does the messenger look like, exactly?" I questioned further.

"Do you play me as a fool, beast? Do you really think I'll let you kill her?" He spat out.

"Kill? What do you take me for? A monster?" I stated in defense, "Oh wait, you actually do. But for your information, no, I won't murder your messenger." I added.

"Oh right, and we're supposed to believe you because why?" The brave one from before interrupted. Hm, I like this one, I think I'll kill him last.

"Hm, well, since you asked so nicely." I grin maliciously, "Because, if you don't, I'm going to make that train go boom in a fiery display of explosions." I stated in a disturbingly cheery tone. Some of the ponies' jaws dropped. Hell, even some of the jaws of the changelings dropped.

Sure, I don't have any bombs at the moment. But hey, with magic, anything's possible, right? Or you know, I could do it the traditional way, find a crap-ton of explosives and plant it in the train and look away as the explosion engulf the train, because, cool guys don't look at explosions!

"You bastard, you wouldn't dare!" The captain shouted, taken aback by my previous sentence. The heroic one seemed to shut up by now.

"And why not?" I retorted. At this point, most of the captured Royal guards have faces of either great fear, or anger. Even some of my own changeling troops appeared uncomfortable.

"Because, no one would be that much of a fool to provoke the entire Royal guards!" The captain answered in desperation.

"Then I will slay as much as I can until I fall, unless, you're willing to give me a description of your messenger." I exclaimed.

I stared at him intently, I watched him as he began to falter, his breathing became erratic, and he was quivering as well.

"Gah! Fine! Her name is Derpy Hooves!" He finally answered. Wait, wait. Derpy hooves? As in the wall-eyed mare?

No bloody way, I don't think I can do this. Kidnap Derpy?

"Wait, excuse me? Derpy? As in, the pegasus with the ditsy personality?" I asked, still confounded on why she was the messenger.

"Actually, yes. How did you know?" He asked, probably surprised due to the fact that I know about her.

"I... have sources." I simply responded.

    Silence fills the interrogation briefly.

"Well, alright! We're done here!" I exclaimed, satisfied by the outcome of the interrogation, "Let's pack up and-" I halted mid-sentence, "Wait, where did the brave one go?" I asked the changelings that were SUPPOSED to keep an eye on the captured ponies.

They looked around for him for a brief moment, and then, they simply shrugged. Even Andrei! He couldn't keep check on him?

Gah! How did he escape? He was basically surrounded by changelings? How? How! It's impossible, dammit! Intense infuriation accumulating within me, I'm going to murder every single living being within the vicinity.

I ignited my hands with magic and slowly raised it up, both ponies and changelings alike were startled by this. Fortunately, I managed to restrain myself and took the amulet off.

I felt the arcane powers leave me as I removed it, causing me to stagger back.

"Oh woah, probably not doing that anytime soon..." I muttered as I stumbled to the ground.

Andrei rushed to my side, "Wilson! Wilson, are you alright? Geez, it seems that the amulet effects you more rapidly." Andrei said

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine... just give me some space." I said as I slowly regained my footing.

"Well, take the prisoners back to the Hive." I ordered.

"What? What about the one that escaped?" Andrei said.

A cold smirk grew on my face.

"Oh, him? Leave him to me."

With that said, I wore the amulet once again, and shot through the air upwards with magic.
