Twilight Sparkle & Me
Chapter 1: Chapter 1- Twilight Sparkle & Me
Chapter 1-Twilight Sparkle & Me
Twilight Sparkle. She humiliated, defeated and destroyed me and my reputation. So why can't i stop thinking about her. If it's not bad enough that I'm... caring about my sworn enemy but the fact that she's a girl. Is it wrong? Is it bad? Because it doesn't feel wrong. When I think of her I don't think about her gender, her sex, only her. Her incredible beauty, kindness, just her.
I feel like such a stalker, hiding behind the bushes watching her with her friends. Her minor meltdowns when Celestia is involved, her awkwardness around her friends if it the answer cannot be found in a book. She's had so many adventures, so many hardships (she even defeated Discord!) but she still carry's on smiling learning more about the magic of friendship as she gets stronger and stronger.
"What are you doing?" said Spike. I scream jumping a few feet up in the are and whiz at super pony speed into the nearest bush shivering. Spike groans and walks over unsurprised as he's seen Fluttershy do almost exactly the same many a time.
"Seriously, why are you staring at Twi and me?" He says calmly. I step out the bushes and shake down the leaves on me. I put on my best stage voice.
"The Great and powerful Trixie is merely assessing competition! Twilight Sparkle is the pony who is closest to my power and i must make sure that none surpasses her!"
Spike crosses his arms and puts on an unconvinced face,
"No you weren't. I've seen you following us and I let you off before but come on now it's getting weird." I felt a stab of embarrassment inside. I began a stuttering pale shadow of an excuse;
"T-That was just an... i-illusion that I formed to d-distract you from my tru-"
Spike put up a claw to stop me talking.
"Look, I get it you like her."
"W-What? Of c-course not, Trixie isn't gay!"
"Okay," he said beginning to walk away. "I guess I won't set you two up!"
I began to smile delighted but understood the fragility of the situation and rushed over grabbing his ankles with my hooves.
"Wait! The great and p-powerful T-Trixie won't pass a free meal."
Spike smiled coyly.
* * *
Now I'm here at the restaurant (which for some reason doesn't have a name) waiting for Twilight to get here. Sweet Celestia how did I get myself into this. Spike just went overboard arranging the reservations and telling me a huge list of of things not to say and to say to her. Also Twilight is a lesbian. She hasn't come out but as Spike being the closest person to her knows her feelings. He wants her to be happy and he thinks I can be the one to do that. I hope he's right.
There she is. Wearing her galloping gala best. She looks stunning, so amazing it's intimidating. I'm here in some old rags compared to her. Her hair shines the purple streak curled in little sausages. She walks impatiently her head shaking from side to side looking around frantically. Spike trails behind her holding her scrolls.
"Where is she Spike?" she says worriedly. "Where's the princess?"
My heart sank as I came to realise that she hadn't come for me at all. But because she thought she was meeting the princess. Spike sat her down at my table. She looked at me confused.
"Trixie, what are you doing here?"
I smiled awkwardly as I floated a rose over the table to her. Spike cleared his throat as Twilight looked at the rose confused.
"Twilight," said Spike in a practiced specially prepared voice. "Celestia isn't coming."
"What why?"
"Because you're here for a date with Trixie and the meals already payed for so don't bother leaving bye!" he said at lightning speed and sped away leaving a puff of smoke and dust.
"W-wait what? Spike get back here!" she said after the dot that was now Spike. She looked at me with an open mouth. Clasped it and began to bury her head in the menu grumbly unintelligable complaints about Spike.
I opened my mouth to speak but nothing came out.
The next few minutes were the incredibly awkward. It felt like hours and hours of nothing, of wanting to speak but nothing happening. We ordered just to find Spike had already paid for the finest flowers. She slammed here menu in annoyance and handed it to the waiter.
"Well," she said to me. "now we're here you can tell me what was with all the boasting when you were here last."
I gulped, I'd been expecting this.
"I'm not usually that boastful... I mean I live on the road surviving on tips... I have to be. But when I s-saw you, I w-wanted to impress you. So that's why I came up with all the Ursa Major stuff..."
I trailed off into mumblings and silly excuses. Twilight looked surprised, her cheeks blushed and she looked away.
"Well..." she said softly. "That was very sweet of you."
I smiled delightedly and the rest of the evening went up from there.
We whisked away the evening strolling down by the evergreen forest. We laughed as she told me of something Pinkie Pie had done in her most recent party. We talked and talked until the hours fell away like minutes. Then she saw Rarity trotting pass in a world of her own and Twilight began to panic. She pushed us into the forest and put her hoof over my mouth to stop me speaking. Rarity finally passed and Twilight looked at me and giggled wildly. We finally realised we were on top of each other and she said,
"I guess we should get off each other..." I put my hand on her face and turned it towards me.
"No..." I said, "come closer." Our lips neared. We kissed beneath the moonlight and the trees. It was heaven.
That's how it began.
