“He’s fine” I nodded, leaning the guitar against the wall “his temper’s as hot as the flames he breathes”

“He’s been around for six-hundred rotations of the moon” she winked

“He’s ancient,” Crystal whistled “it’s no wonder Tesla barely managed to come out on top!”

“Indeed” Faust nodded “he is the only remnant of the dragons of od who still exist, amongst a select few”

“And would Crystagia be one of them?” I bit my lip, again

“She would, her location however, I cannot tell you,” she frowned “unless of course, you would lay down you r life for those who you care about”

“Gladly” I tutted “that’s the thing about the Fairy Tail guild, we look after our own, even if it should cost me my life, I’ll find a way to defend all who I care about” her horn glowed for a split second, she smiled

“It seems that you’re being perfectly honest with me,” she sighed “very well, I can tell you of her location, but first” her horn flared a bright crimson colour “just in case, I’ve soundproofed the room, now, without further ado, your mother resides in the scarlet hills, beyond Equestria’s borders

“I thought you said your mother died?” Crystal folded her arms

“My actual mother did,” I nodded 2Crystagia acted as a mother figure toward me, and just like a mother would, she did all she could for me, watched me as I stumbled, praised me when I did something good, and warned me when I did something that she didn’t see as right” I continued “and then she vanished, just like that” I snapped my fingers “and now I’m on the journey of my life to find her”

“Sounds cliché, but I’ll roll with it, if only for you, my love” she pecked my cheek as a great rumbling echoed throughout the castle “I think we’d better see what that was”

“Agreed” Faust and I quickly marched with the others at my side as ran through the castle, and out into the gardens, only to bear witness to one of the most amazing things I’ve ever seen, period”

“Is that” I gaped, quickly spotting the form of a legendary-looking, elegant-beyond-belief dragon, one with small, prismatic, crystalline spines growing in rows along its back and down its tail, ending in a trident-blade- tail-tip, with glowing sapphire eyes and a snow-white coat of scales with silvery-pearl coloured underbelly scales “Crystagia!?” Twilight and her friends galloped out of the castle, only for fluttershy to run back in at the sight of the apparent living-legend before us, the only key difference was the whitish-golden claws that the dragon had, a small one above its snout, and two from the corners of its head, all thee glowing like topaz’s

“Hello son” the dragon cooed, coming down to eye-level with me “how’ve you been?”

“You, I, we…” I stammered “I missed you mom” I nuzzled into her

“Ok, now that’s weird” Blaze laughed

“I’ve missed you so much…” the dragon known as Crystagia gently nuzzled into me “And to see my son as a grown dragon slayer, too…”

“I’ve missed you too mom,” I smiled, “but when, how, why?”

“I felt an unknown presence enter Equis atmosphere, what’s more is I felt a familiar type of magic flow throughout the planet, I held onto my hopes that you’d come to find me, and when I heard the dragonsong, I had to come, and look at who I found” she had tears in her eyes, quite unexpected for a dragon

“You don’t have to get so emotional” I bit my lip “but how did you hear the song if you’re possibly in another country?”  

“A mother always knows what’s best for her son” Crystagia smiled “I would’ve been honoured to meet your original mother, how she saved your life at the cost of her own is rather noble, for a human, don’t you think?”

“For a human” I smiled as she lay in an arc around me

“So, the book that’s in the archives labels you as a murderer, is that true?”

“Blaze,” I snapped “that’s enough!”

“No, you need to hear it” Crystagia sighed, her voice sweeter than honey “I was so frustrated at the thought of being away from you for too long, and the apparent ‘excuses’ weren’t enough for Celestia, so I acted out, I’m sorry”

“You were frustrated at being away from your only son for longer than expected, that’s enough to make anyone annoyed I suppose, and so there is nothing to forgive” I placed a gently hand on her chest, the course feeling of her scales rubbing under my skin as I lightly massaged the area was somewhat awkward

“Thank you Tesla” she smiled, staring at me with her gleaming sapphire eyes “you’ve no idea how much it warms me to hear that”

“It’s the least I can do, mom”

“So let me get this straight, she’s your adoptive mother?” Rainbow Dash stood at the front as Twilight and her friends stood before me as I sat myself against Crystagia’s stomach area, Spike sat on Twilight’s back

“And the one who taught me Dragon slayer magic” I nodded

“How is such a thing possible?” Twilight raised an eyebrow

“You take of spike, do you not?” Crystagia smiled

“That’s different” Spike gagged

“She hatched you, that makes her your mother,” Crystagia laughed softly “I can feel whenever a new dragon is born, an old trait from an old dragon like me”

“That’d mean that-!”

“I felt it when you became an eon,” Crystagia nodded “you have the soul of a very ancient, very powerful dragon within you my son, use it wisely”

“A dragon’s soul, an eon’s heart, and a human form, that’s cultural diversity right there” Blaze laughed

“Careful Blaze, you can also use dragon slayer magic” I scratched the Quilava behind the ears

“So I do” she leaned into the scratch

“Tesla, you’ve a sister” Crystagia winked

“I know- wait, what?” I blinked, staring at her

“You’ve a sister” she smiled “I’ll be right back, just wait here” and with that she flew back to where she’d come from, disappearing in about all of three seconds

“Holy fudge” I whistled as she returned, landing beside me with a small, quadruped dragon in her arms, once again lying in an arc around me as the dragon, who was pitch-black in colour with silver scales and spines with a blade-like tail tip with silvery/pearl-white horns, hid behind Crystagia

“Go on, he’s your brother” Crystagia smiled as the dragon slowly made his way over to me, stopping every so often

“Brother?” the dragon glanced back to her as she pointed to me

“Yes, brother,” she nodded “go on, he won’t hurt you”

“He doesn’t look like a dragon” the small reptile chuckled, I flapped my wings “in part”

“He has the soul of a dragon; and the heart of an eon, his form maybe that of a human, but rest assured, I wouldn’t have him any other way”

“Would you rather I take a draconic look?” I smiled, the small fem-dragon nodded, I triggered dragon force, my canines extending a little as scales appeared on my face, arms and hands

“You activated it by yourself!?” Twilight gasped

“I never said what generation dragon slayer I was” I smirked “I’m third generation, blaze is first gen”

“Third gen dragon slayers can activate it simply by willing it” Blaze explained “Whereas first generation slayers need to get extra power from an external source”

“Dragon, slayer,” the small black dragon quivered

“I won’t kill my only family simply because I can” I rebuked, she sighed, standing beside me, feeling the scales on my hand

“As voiced by Todd Haberkorn” Blaze spoke almost mysteriously

“Actually I’m voiced by Vic Micogna in ‘the series’” I winked “That’s all I’m saying

“Wouldn’t want to reveal too much, Tesla” Blaze chortled

“I’m well aware of your antics on Earth, Tesla” Crystagia giggled

“Vic Micogna, really, Tesla,” Blaze guffawed

“It was either that or Travis Willingham” I shrugged, turning my attention to the young dragon beside me “So, how old are you, little one?”

“Fifteen,” the dragon smiled, climbing up my arm and standing on my shoulder “you?”

“Eighty,” I smiled

“So, what’s it like, being reunited?” Faust nickered

“Fantastic” I laughed

“I should hope so” she simpered as Celestia and Luna trotted from the castle, walking toward us

“You know what this calls for!?” Pinkie Pie leapt to ridiculous heights as she bounded up and down “A PARTY!”

All of a sudden, an entire crowd of ponies appeared alongside the other necessary ‘parts’ to a party, none of the ponies seemed to mind Crystagia’s presence, nor that of the other dragon perched on my shoulder

“What were to happen, should a dragon enter ‘Dragon Force’?” Spike raised a claw

“Nothing much, they’d just gain more power in both magic and might” Crystagia shrugged

“But Tesla’s part dragon” Twilight retorted “how is he able to use it so well?”

“I’m one-third human, one-third dragon, and the rest is human” I sighed “that’d probably be the answer to your question” I turned my attention to the dragon on my shoulder “do you have a name?”

“I’m Kiary” the dragon gleamed

“Hello Celestia,” Crystagia snarled “I see that you still rule, so I can trust that all is well?”

“Shall we see if a dragon slayer can truly kill a god?” I winked toward Kiary, who shrugged

“How could a dragon slayer defeat a god?” Spike frowned “it’s impossible!”

“I dunno, Natsu managed to beat the hell into Zancrow fairly easily” I grinned

“Hey TK,” Pinkie Pie threw a guitar into the air “catch!”

“And I suppose you want me to sing?” I sighed, holding the guitar as I caught it

“Alternate Equestria, post-apocalypse” I avoided her gaze “even the air you breathe has even the slightest amounts of radiation due to the use of megaspells”

“And you ran headlong into it” Blaze folded her paws “Dumbass”

“You mean you got injured,” Faust blinked “how badly?”

“Both arms and a leg, alongside countless plasma burns and bullet wounds” I bit my lip “Seriously, never bring magic into a gunfight, ever”

“I may or may not have used purple flare to bring an entire wall down on someone” I nodded sideways

“Purple flare?” she raised an eyebrow

“It’s a telekinesis-like spell, sister,” Luna explained “he creates an arm of fire which he then uses to hold onto objects and, apparently, bring walls down on ponies”

“Ponies?” Celestia frowned

“Alternate Equestria” I rebuked “it wasn’t really yours anymore, considering all that’d happened”

“Explain” her eyes narrowed

“Basically, a Giga-tonne of explosives was bought down on canterlot, irradiating basically the whole of Equestria, and since the sky had been closed up by the Pegasi, the radiation was trapped

“How is that possible?” she stared at me

“Megaspells” I simply shrugged “There may have been a few ponies I was trying to defend in the process of bringing wall down on said ponies”

“Velvet Remedy and Calamity” Blaze nodded “I was there, remember?”

“So you were” I sighed “it’s lucky you weren’t hit by anything”

“Or just convenient” she chuckled

“Aviators; open your eyes” Blaze clapped her paws

“So it was” I clicked my neck

“How do you get them to sing these songs?” spoke a soothing voice from nearby, turning in said direction, I saw a black-as-night unicorn with a snow-white mane and tail with zigzag gold and crimson highlights with dark sapphire eyes smiling at me

“Velvet?” I chuckled “you’re here now?”

“That I am” she giggled “Always a pleasure, Teslakana”

“Just Tesla will suffice” I smiled

“So it will, Tesla” she nickered” I trust you had no trouble getting here?”

“None at all” I smirked

“Who are you?” Littlepip tilted her head

“I’m Velvet Remedy” she held out a hoof

“Littlepip” Littlepip smiled

“Shall we?” Velvet Remedy winked at me, I nodded

“That was amazing,” Littlepip blinked “why don’t you join us?”

“I’d be honoured” Velvet Remedy smiled

“So, you had all that happen to you, and you never told me about it?” Crystal folded her arms, frowning at me “You’re a right piece of work, you know that?”

“We did what we had to” Blaze deadpanned “defend the light-bringer, escort her to the ‘SPP,’ make sure she’s safe once there, and let fate take care of the rest, there was nothing else we could do”

“You could’ve brought me with you!” she snapped

“Too risky” Blaze replied “we- Tesla, didn’t want you getting hurt, so he went alone, with me”

“And yet he went with you, why?” she snarled

“Blaze has proven herself, battle-capable, whereas I don’t want you getting hurt, as she said,” I sighed “If you want to fight, fine, just don’t do it in the Wastelands”

“Alright,” she rolled her eyes “But you owe me, matey”

“I’m sure I do” I shuddered

“Are you two together?” Velvet Remedy tilted her head

“We’re married,” Crystal exhaled sharply “fortunately Tesla won’t meet another like me”

“Tell that to Littlepip” Blaze mumbled

“Oh, have you two, shall we say, bedded?” she scowled

“That’s our business, isn’t it?” Littlepip frowned

“What?” Crystal glowered

“It’s our relationship, Tesla doesn’t need some moody freak to be following him around all day,” Littlepip spat “in fact; I’d say he’d be better off without you altogether!”

“You; take; that back!” Crystal lunged toward Littlepip, creating a fireball around her claws, I quickly changed to eon form, using myself as a shield as Crystal hit my chest symbol, a solid crystalline-alloy shaped like thin-wide upside-down delta arrow, which cracked, releasing a torrential wave of energy toward the eon, sending her flying through one of the castles windows

I collapsed, Kiary and Littlepip rushing to my side

“Has anyone got any gemstones!?” Blaze yelled, Celestia magicked/ teleported in a pile of gemstones, which I quickly devoured, the cracked gem in my chest sealing itself as the energy from the gems coursed through me

“That’s better” I cracked my knuckles

“Never hit Tesla’s chest-piece, it’ll explode with enough energy to destroy an entire city” Blaze smirked

“What’s it made of?” Twilight glanced at my chest symbol

“Solid energized crystalline alloy” I grinned

“I’m sorry for calling her a freak” Littlepip bit her lip

“I’ve heard worse insults from worse people” I shrugged, twitching my wings, she climbed onto my back, Snowdrop perching herself on my head

“You have a crystal, sticking out of you?” Rarity was almost in hysterics

“Non-reactive, high explosive, standard issue” I laughed

“My little eon” Littlepip nuzzled into me

“My Littlepip” I glimmered like an idiot

“My little human” she simpered as Crystal re-appeared through the broken window, looking rather battered

“It’s either her or me, make your choice” Crystal pouted, somehow still hovering

“I think it‘s obvious then” Littlepip and I stifled a laugh as I reverted to human form, Littlepip nuzzling into me as I sat, cross-legged, draping a wing around her, pecking my cheek, sitting in my lap, placing her arms on my shoulders, and pressing her lips against mine, Velvet Remedy quickly sitting beside me, pecking my cheek as we parted

“What?” Littlepip blinked

“Tesla and I are lovers” Velvet Remedy giggled

“Fair enough,” she shrugged, turning her attention toward me “so you’re herding then?”

“If I feel like it” I winked, they shared a grin, gleaming at me with somewhat killer intent as their horns started glowing, dragging me by the arms via magic into the castle, all the way into one of the  guest rooms

“Double Kill!” Blaze chortled yet again as I walked into the main hall alongside Velvet and Littlepip

“I’d say so” Velvet Remedy winked at me” Didn’t know a cyborg could do that”

“I prefer the phrase, ‘biomechanical entity’” I laughed as we practically marched out into the gardens

“So you do” Blaze clambered onto my shoulder as Snowdrop perched herself on my head as soon as she spotted me

“Hello Daddy” Snowdrop nuzzled into me

“Hello Angel,” I smiled “How’re you?”

“I’m fine, thank you” she giggled as I noticed a banner hung between two trees that read ‘Congratulations Velvet, Littlepip and Tesla!’

“Looks like they heard you” Velvet laughed

“Kind of hard not to,” Rarity, Twilight and her friends trotted toward me, mixed expressions being sent from each one of the ponies that stood before me “must you honestly create that much racket?”

“That’s just half the fun of it” Littlepip clung onto my back, gently wrapping her arms around my neck as she placed her head on my shoulder “My little eon”

“My Littlepip” I smiled “Ain’t no other pony gonna be my little filly”

“Ahem?” Velvet nickered

“Other than you, of course” I chuckled

As I stood with Twilight and Applejack at Sweet Apple Acres, Littlepip and Velvet Remedy also at my side, and with Spike atop Twilight’s back, I sighed, with Snowdrop atop my head, and Blaze upon my shoulder

“Thanks fer helping me with this Twi” Applejack smiled “Ah made a bet with Big Macintosh that Ah could buck more apples, if Ah win, he gets to walk down Stirrup street in one of Granny Smith’s girdles” she nickered

“Amusing” I gave a weak smile “And happens, should you lose?”

“Then Ah do the same” she shuddered

“Seems fair enough” Velvet smiled” But what if he hears about us helping you?”

“He won’t mind” Applejack chuckled “he’s stronger than Ah am, but Tesla’s stronger still

“Darn straight!” Littlepip cheered, I changed to eon form; she leapt onto my back as Blaze lay along my neck

“So this is ponyville,” Velvet hummed “how peaceful”

“There ain’t anywhere else in Equestria like it” Applejack exclaimed “Unless ya’ll are from an alternate world or somethin’” she glanced toward me

“Earth’s nice, but it’s no Garden of Eden” I shrugged “And the wastelands aren’t any better”

“The isles weren’t bad” Blaze yawned

“They’re the best part of it all” I smirked

“Aye, so they were” she nodded

“Your home, I assume?” Littlepip sat beside Velvet on my back

“My old home” I sighed “not that it matters now that I’m with you two”

“What about Luna?” Twilight raised a hoof

“If she wants to join, then I don’t have any right to stop her,” I laughed “I’m merely her night, her sword and shield; she’s a princess and/or goddess of the moon and stars”

“You’re her knight?” Velvet Remedy gasped

“Tsuki No Ryu” Blaze nodded

“What does that mean?” she blinked

“It means ‘Lunar Dragon’” I smiled “I would’ve been on a few quests for her, had I not been put out of commission, not that I’m blaming anybody”

“How long did that last?” Kiary raised an eyebrow as she sat perched on Littlepip’s back

“Eight months” I shrugged “I’ve had worse”

“How can ya‘ll have had worse than that? Applejack frowned

“I don’t want to talk about it” I avoided her gaze, biting my lip as I stared at the ground

“Not even a little,” Twilight blinked, I shot her a glare “Sorry…”

“I don’t talk about my personal life, except that of my mother, and even then it’s only to those who I can trust” I frowned

“Sounds cagey” Twilight nickered as a light amount of snow began to fall from the skies above, Spike belched a light green fire, a sealed scroll appearing from said fire

“Dear Twilight, Littlepip, Velvet and Tesla,” Spike read aloud as he held the letter in front of him “you are hereby invited to the Grand-Galloping Gala later this month, please show the tickets provided to gain entry to the castle, I hope to hear more from you, yours sincerely, Princess Celestia, P.S. Luna says ‘Hi’”

“That was nice of her” Littlepip smiled

“Much has changed in the past thousand years,” I folded my arms “that much is obvious, even for a dimension-hopper like me”

“And you think you could do better?” Applejack scowled

“That ain’t what I meant,” I blinked “I just said that there’s been change, I’ not trying to imply anything” I grumbled as Spike held up five golden tickets

“And they’re even in gold, how cliché” Blaze rolled her eyes

“It goes on to say that Discord will be attending” Spike shuddered

“Why would the princess allow the lord of chaos himself to attend?” Applejack

“Judgement,” I tutted “she wants to prove to everyone that he’s not who he used to be, I’ve seen it happen before, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t”

“Either way, we’ll tell him what maul told us, and what you told Red-Eye” Blaze smirked

“Which was?” Littlepip gleamed

“Slip up, and I gut you like a fish” Blaze and I spoke in unison

“Do ya have tah be so barbaric?” Applejack’s eyes narrowed

“But for every barbaric presence in the world, there is also an opposite,” I smirked, glancing up to the icy blue Pegasus atop my head “Right Snowy?”

“Right, Daddy” Snowdrop smiled “Your shadow to my light”

“And my fire to your ice” I winked

“Could you get any sappier?” Spike gagged

As the night of the gala approached, I walked out of the castle’s armoury, clad in the armour that’d been given to me upon my being knighted, the two Dawnbreaker swords sheathed on either side of my hips, Ryōshi stood by my side

“That’s amazing!” Velvet Remedy eyed me up and down alongside Littlepip

“It’s a gift from Luna herself” I clicked my shoulders, Blaze clambering up onto my shoulder as Snowdrop perched herself back unto my head as we walked into the main hall of the castle, and from there to the gardens

“I must say you wear your armour well” Discord smirked as he popped into view right in front of me

“Slip up and I gut you like a fish” I smirked

“Noted” he raised an eyebrow as Twilight and her friends appeared before us, all dressed for the gala

“Not bad” Discord glanced at each of them “I’d almost call them stupendously designed” I rolled my eyes, focusing on my wings, beaming as feathers began to appear along their lower parts “now that’s magic” he gave a sly grin

“I try” I smiled, walking back into the castle, Littlepip and Velvet following me to the throne room

“I see that you managed to make it,” Celestia smiled “I apologize for any inconveniences that I might’ve caused you, Tesla”

“I’m only here because I thought it’d be nice to take up your offer,” I shrugged “other than that I would’ve gladly spent another day working at Sweet Apple acres”

“You’d rather work there than be with your friends?” she raised an eyebrow

“We’d be with him in whatever he may choose to do” Littlepip placed a gentle hoof on my leg, as did Velvet “He’s our Alpha, and that of Ryōshi”

“Speaking of which,” Blaze began “where’s tesla’s rucksack?” Celestia magicked/teleported my rucksack beside me “Thank you” she smirked as I slipped it on, turning and walking out of the room

“Element of magic, yet she ain’t got trash on Natsu or any other dragon slayer I can think of” Blaze gave a sly grin as we walked into the main hall

“I know, right?” I laughed like an absolute maniac “it’s as if they expect her to do something she’s clearly not capable of”

“Expect who to do what?” Twilight and her friends spotted me from across the hall, walking up to me, eyebrows raised

“Well, with the apparent ‘lord of chaos,’ he would’ve had his rear handed to him within around twenty minutes, if not seconds” Blaze glimmered with apparent glee

“Who, Tesla,” Applejack glanced at me, eyes narrowed in apparent irritation “Not tah sound negative or anything but Ah know he can beat a dragon, but Discord, really?”

“You’d be surprised” Velvet Remedy winked at me “Tesla beat him once in the wastelands, I’ve no doubt that he could do it again with little to no effort”

“I’ll bet Twenty bits that she’s lying,” Rainbow dash smirked, I shot her a glower “What?”

“If you wish to keep having a mouth I’d recommend shutting it” I grinned

“How about you prove that you can do it then?”

“Alrighty then” I gleamed toothily “Blaze get me a can of you-know-what”

“Will do” she saluted me, climbing into my bag, climbing back out as I walked outside onto the arena, sipping the contents of the can as I went

“What is that?” Velvet Remedy blinked, gesturing toward the can

“A type of stimulant” I simpered as ponies began to flood the stands, Twilight, her friends, Spike and the princesses included “Stand well back, and watch the mayhem” they did so, standing at the edge of the arena, Snowdrop and Blaze included

“So I hear you wish to challenge me?” Discord laughed as he popped into view in front of me

“What of it?” I spat, clicking my neck, shoulders, knuckles and ankles

“I think it’s humorous, how you think you have a chance of beating me” he chuckled as a third, wicked-looking set of wings sprouted from my back, piercing through the armour as I removed it

“You would” I tutted

“Are there any rules I should know about” he sighed

“No teleportation or anything of the sort, flight is allowed” I grinned sadistically as scales appeared on my face, arms and hands, horns also sprouting from my head as my fingernails extended into claws “Starting now”

Discord lunged at me, trying to land a hit, I blocked it, twisting his arm behind his back, grabbing onto both of his wrists, slamming my foot down onto his back, dislocating both arms as I gave a hard tug on them

“That didn’t take long” I kicked him right in the stomach, sending him sprawling across the arena floor “God of chaos, are we sure that’s your title, Discord?” I burst into whitish-silver flames, slowly walking toward him as he righted himself, apparently/magically popping his arms back into place, letting out an unearthly roar as I charged at him

“Suishō hasu Karyu Ken,” I chortled, releasing a wave of Gatling-like punches at him, most hit him, but not all of them, due to his serpentine figure “And; Tsuin Ryujin no Koen!” I created a pitch-black fireball in one hand, and a silver one in the other, clashing the two together as they collided with the draconequus, the resulting explosion sending him flying into the air, third to first degree burns covering him from tail-tip to snout “and finally, the roar” I inhaled sharply, exhaling a mild grey torrent of flames toward the lord of chaos, clapping my hands together as he smashed into the ground “Tatakai no tame kansha, Discord”

“He actually did it…” Rainbow Dash gaped toward me in apparent awe and/or horror as I I walked back to Littlepip and the others

“Why do you have horns now?” Velvet Remedy giggled

“‘Double Dragon Force,’” I began “it gives the user incredible power for a certain amount of time, but the side effects can be horrendous”

“You beat Discord!” Littlepip cheered “when do the horns and claws recede then?” and just like that, the horns receded into my skull, and the claws reverted to normal fingernails

“You just did alone what they nearly failed to do as a team,” Blaze burst into a fit of laughter “case in point about what I said about the Twilight not matching any dragon slayer I know of’ thing”

“How strong is he!?” I heard someone from the crowd shriek as we walked back to the gardens

I collapsed under the shade of a tree, cringing as I felt the strain of the forced magic work its way through me

“Does it hurt?” Littlepip bit her lip, I nodded, gritting my teeth as the strained parts of my body attempted to heal themselves

“It puts quite the strain on Tesla, even a shortened use of the hidden ability can hospitalize him” Blaze explained” There was the one time he hit an opponent hard enough that the muscles in his arms literally shredded themselves to pieces”

“And thus is another life lesson,” I smiled, faintly “the great joy of life is doing what people say you cannot do”

“How much have you progressed, since we first met?” velvet stared at me “quite far by the sounds of it”

“How’d you get here anyway?” Littlepip glanced at the charcoal-coloured mare

“Tesla gave me a glimmer of his teleportation and/or dimension-hopping abilities” Velvet smiled

“And that’s how you got here?” she tilted her head, Velvet nodded

I didn’t think it possible,” Twilight and her friends, princesses and Spike included, trotted toward me “to think that a lone being could beat Discord, and like that no less!”

“You’d of thought that he’d at least give him a chance to retaliate” Rarity mumbled

“How long did it take?” I glanced toward Blaze

“One minute and twenty three seconds approximately” the Quilava perched on my shoulder grinned

“Tesla, you awakened your dragon soul” Celestia stared at me

“And here I thought it was just another hidden magical ability” I chuckled

“Nay, ‘tis quite the powerful spell, as thou hath witnessed against Discord first-hoof” Luna raised an eyebrow “how did thou manage it?”

“Just take one of these” Blaze held a can between her paws “the only downsides are the sugar crash, possible heart attack, eventual death, near imminent chest pains and impatience, amongst others” she sighed “you really should stop drinking these you know?”

“And how else would you suggest using the new ability?” I tilted my head

“Ask that I use the ‘Flame of Rebuke’ whilst using normal ‘Dragon Force’?” she suggested

“Wouldn’t work, the first time it would, but after that you’d only be adding duel to the fire, pun intended,” I smirked, she glared at me “sorry”

“Those things can kill you?” Twilight gasped

“They can make your heart do a proverbial backflip,” I shrugged “probably explains why they’re so cheap”

“It would also explain the silver flames,” Blaze sighed “the energy from the liquid and caffeine gets converted via catalyst into actual fire, magical properties included”

“Tsuin Ryujin no Koen,” “Cadance raised an eyebrow also “Honestly, Tesla?”

“Twin dragon god’s brilliant flame” Blaze grumbled “you really do push yourself a little harder than you should, brother”

“And that was without using Dragon’s Apparition” I sat against the tree trunk

“Dragon’s-what now,” Applejack blinked “What in tarnation?”

“I’ll explain later,” I simpered “

“If you’d have used that, I think a few members of the crowd would’ve had either had heart attacks or fainted,” Blaze face-pawed “or both”

“That’s half the reason I didn’t use it” I nodded

“Just how powerful can dragon slayers get?” twilight shuddered

“That remains a mystery, even to us” Blaze folded her arms “I suppose it could go further, who knows, perhaps there is such as a dragon-god slayer”

“Here’s hoping anyway” I smiled

“But first you’d have to pass through dragon-king slayer” she shook her head “you’re impossible, TK”

“And you’re a little fire hazard” I gleamed

“And you’re going to end up killing yourself at the rate of danger you go through, and the severity of said danger” she tutted

“Please, tesla, for us, don’t do it anymore” Littlepip sat beside me opposite Velvet, both staring at me with their best puppy-dog eyes, no way was there any hope for anyone to beat that

“Anything for you two, My Littlepip and Remedy” I draped a wing around each of them

“Thank you, Tesla” Velvet pecked my cheek, nuzzling into me, so did Littlepip as i curled my wings around them, my third set of wings seemingly fading into thin air “you mean more to us than you could possible imagine, our love, our heart, our Alpha” Ryōshi bounded up to me, giving me a series of licks on the side of my cheek as she sat right in front of me

“How’ve you been girl?” I scratched Ryōshi behind the ears, she gave a light-hearted *yip* as a reply “That’s good”

“But what of the light-bringer;” Celestia tilted her head “What of your little escort mission with her?”

“She’ll be fine,” I smiled “She’s got the light of an actual god shining down on her, after all, destiny is what you make it out to be”

“What do you mean?” she blinked, I raised an eyebrow at her “oh”

“You consider us gods?” Luna simpered

“If you’ve immortality along with the potential abilities that I’ve seen and heard of, I suppose I might as well” I shrugged

“And what have you heard?” Celestia nickered lightly

“That you took out no less than a country’s-worth of enclave soldiers armed with nothing short of nukes, more or less” I grinned

“Let’s not forget the usual weather forecast for the wastelands either,” Blaze grinned “cloudy with a chance of rain, gunfire and bloody dismemberment, and, in your case, a storm of hellfire”

“This so-called ‘storm of hellfire,’ just so happened to clear the skies of radiation and reveal the sun, moon and stars once again” I smirked

“Metsuryu Ogi Kai; Gurren Me-en” Blaze rolled her eyes “I know all too well, brother, and I also know of how it drained your magic energy for about a whole month, maybe even two”

“Three, actually” I bit my lip “And it was a rather interesting change of perspective, living without any magic in me for a while”

“You cleared the skies, of all of Equestria by yourself?” Rainbow Dash deadpanned “impossible”

“‘Double Dragon Force’” I clicked my back “and didn’t I already say that anything’s possible, RD?”

“But, you cleared all of Equestria, how is that possible, it’s against all laws of science!” Twilight argued

“Give enough firepower and you can melt or burn through anything and everything, even the skies and heavens themselves, trust us, we know” Blaze gave a sly grin “and to be honest, Tesla’s flames don’t give of smoke and/or fumes of any kind, so they’re safe, they all are, every living being in the wastelands is free of taint and radiation, as did the light-bringer” she went on “Tesla and I cleared the skies above, and the Light-bringer cleared away the ground below

“I still don’t see how it’s possible” Twilight shook her head

“Says the talking pony” Blaze beamed

“I think we could’ve done that reference when we got here, Sister” I chuckled

“So we could have” she nodded, Snowdrop perched herself on my head as I stood upright, Kiary on my neck, and Littlepip and Velvet on my back as I changed to eon form

“Are you sure you’re Ok?” Cadance gave a weak smile as I rolled my shoulders

“We’ll be fine” Velvet pecked the back of my neck, staring down at me “why didn’t you use the weapons given to you in the wasteland, my love?”

“With dragon slayer magic, you can save ammunition, and it’s easier to tell if they’re no longer, shall we say, ‘a bother to anyone’?” I spoke icily

“Now that’s cold” Blaze laughed “ironic enough for you, brother?”

“Quite so” I smiled, faintly “besides, I wanted to use something other than what I’ve been using for the past fifty years”

“Explain” Celestia’s eyes narrowed slightly

“I said I was a brigadier for the UNSC, I wasn’t joking” I frowned

“And they use firearms?” she raised an eyebrow

“Anything from your standard issue Model-six sidearm toa magnetic accelerator cannon, that of which could level a small town” I nodded

“That’s barbaric!” Rarity spat

“It’s called war for a reason, the human-covenant war, to be exact, what was going to be a quick and decisive win, turned into thirty years of hell” I scowled

“How old are you?” Twilight blinked

“Eighty-odd” I smiled “fifty of which have been spent trying to save humanity, the rest on the matter is classified, ten years in the wastelands, and twenty on earth, and the final one here, almost a year anyway”

“What’s the date?”

“The seventeenth of December” Luna titled her head “why?”

“No reason” Blaze and I smirked

“So what’re you doing for hearth’s Warming?” Twilight smiled

“I’ve no money on me, so I can’t get anything at the moment,” I tilted my head “Speaking of which, where is it anyway?”

“In the castle’s treasury, with your name on it” Twilight smiled as Spike at on her back, and Velvet and Littlepip on mine as I hovered in the centre of Ponyville, Snowdrop once again perched on my head as a type of pony-made winter cap

“And it’d probably take a day for the train to get there” Spike raised an eyebrow, Blaze,, Snowdrop, Littlepip, Velvet Remedy and Twilight all face-pawed/hooved

“I can fly, Spike, it’s not going to take more than five minutes at best” I laughed “Hold on!”  and with that I soared as fast as I could go without anyone falling off, flying toward the castle, slowing down as I glided through its double doors “Where to now?”

“That way” Littlepip’s horn glowed for a brief moment, pointing down a nearby corridor

“Very well then” I smiled, flying down said corridor, eventually finding myself at a set of double doors, opening them, finding a large- nay, massive earthy-brown bag which was tied at the top with a substantial amount of rope, with a label on the rope that read out my name

“How much do you need?” Blaze smiled form atop my neck

“How much don’t I need?” I chortled

“Touché” she nodded as I carried the bag back to ponyville, albeit, with somewhat notable difficulty

“How many bits are in that thing?” Applejack nickered as she trotted toward me

“Enough for a lifetime, I should think” Littlepip laughed

“Or three” I winked “or maybe a small family”

“You flatter me” she blushed

“No, you flatter us” Velvet giggled

“So, who wants to test out the drill that you’ve been given?” Blaze chimed

“Later” I sighed “Honestly, you get too worked up for your own good”

“Don’t I just?” she smirked

“So, what’ll you do with it?” Applejack nodded toward the large brown bag underneath me

“Just a bit of this and that” I nodded sideways, lowering myself down as Littlepip and Velvet remedy hopped down to the ground

“We’ll be off whilst you get what you need, Tesla” Littlepip winked as she and Velvet wandered toward the library

“How’d ya get those two anyway?” Applejack smirked

“I’ve no idea” I mumbled, feeling my wings stiffen, turning hard-as-iron “Dammit”

“Wing-boner,” Blaze laughed

“I didn’t think that as bein’ possible if ya’ll have wings like blades” Applejack chuckled

“Who’s got a wing-boner now?” Rainbow Dash glided down beside Applejack, Blaze pointed down toward me “How?”

“Heck if I know” I shuddered “It just happens”

“Sure it does” she gave a wicked leer, slowly nodding all the while

“Oh, shut up” I laughed, carrying the large bag over to the nearest shop
