As I trekked toward the castle in the forest, my friends walking alongside Twilight and the others, Spike and Celestia included, I quickly changed to eon form, My ears rapidly twitching as Kiary and Blaze scrambled onto my back, my eyes narrowed as Blaze sniffed the air

“Ok, what reeks of death?” Blaze folded her paws

“You feel that too huh?” I frowned

“Damn right I do,” she glowered “looks like your old man’s back, somehow” I lowered myself to the ground

“Snowdrop, Kiary, stay here, I’ll be back soon” I gave a faint smile

“Ok Daddy” Snowdrop giggled, climbing down to the ground alongside Kiary and Blaze, I quickly reverted to human form, and then changed from that to Alphamon

“We going all out then?” she clicked her neck sand paws

“Most likely” I nodded as she clambered onto my head, soaring toward the castle, bursting through the doors to the throne room, only to find

“And who might you be?” the figure stood opposite me spat, he had a dark green unzipped jumper with jeans and hiking boots with a black shirt, reeking of death as a shadowy aura surrounded him

“Tesla” I quickly got into a defensive position

“Is that so?” he snarled “I can’t recall ever meeting you before ‘Tesla,’ perhaps you’d like to make your acquaintance?” I reverted to human form, fists blazing

“Ah yes, now I remember “he eyed me up and down “the wayward son I never cared for, your mother would’ve been fine if she hadn’t of wasted her life on you Y’know”

“She didn’t waste it, she sacrificed it” Blaze snarled “and what, might I ask, would you know of love, I doubt you’ve even got a heart!” she burst into flames, standing beside me suddenly enveloped in a blinding light, her form growing to at least thrice her usual size , the light suddenly shattering like glass , revealing her in all her evolved glory

“You’ve changed..!” I grinned

“More on that later, now we deal with him,” she growled “got any ideas?”

“Blaze bomb” I glimmered

“I don’t think that’ll work anymore, brother” she laughed, clicking her neck, the ‘ring’ around the back of her neck suddenly exploding into flames “We move as one then?”

“As one” I nodded, we lunged forward, fists/paws blazing as we began the assault “Tai No Hoseki Ryū Hokou!” I unleashed a torrent of flames alongside my now grown-up sister, eradicating the darkness around my former parent, followed by a series of Gatling-like punches “Hoseki Ryū Ken,” we yelled in unison, both performing a forward flip and bringing our heels down on his skull “Kagizume,” we leapt back, both concentrating as rings of fire formed around or feet, creating borderline-enormous fireballs at the tips of our fingers/paws, charging forward slamming them together “and Brilliant Giga-flame!” we gleamed as the being disintegrated to ash, if that,

“So, what happened,” Twilight stared at Blaze as did everyone else who was in sight

“Nothing important” Blaze and I smirked

“She’s grown, how?” Rarity blinked

“That’s classified” Blaze wagged a paw “Though my personality remains the same, much to Tesla’s glee, my form has been, shall we say,’ altered’?”

“No heck it has!” Rainbow Dash laughed

“How much stronger are you now?” Celestia smiled

“At least double, Princess” Blaze raised an eyebrow, inhaling sharply, tilting her head upward; exhaling a large torrent of fire into the sky, sighing as she turned to face me “Am I your noble squire, Brother?” she grinned, now that I looked at her, she seemed to be slender than most Typhlosion’s were “What’re you staring at?”

“You’re my sister, I think that’s enough” I rolled my eyes

“Oh,” she stop up on her hind legs, staring at me right in the eye “and what if I were to ask for more, eh Tesla?”

“That depends on what you want,” I raised an eyebrow “for instance-”she leapt at me, knocking me on my back, using her paws to pin my arms to the ground, her ruby eyes staring at me with a laser-like focus

“You don’t get it, Tesla” she purred, licking the end of my nose “I want you, I don’t care if it’s right, wrong, legal or otherwise, that just makes it more fun,” I tried to move, she easily stopped me “if you so much as think of moving, and I kick your nuts into your stomach, possible or otherwise, clear?” I quickly nodded “good, now just lie there and let me do all the work, my little eon”

“I thought you said you didn’t engage in coitus with your relatives?” Twilight smirked

“Technically that was my doing, not his, so I think his mental state can remain as normal” Blaze4 sighed at me with a dreamy expression

“Don’t even think about it” I frowned

“I wouldn’t think of anyone, and isn’t I t about time you checked on Gracy Gloom?”

“Who,” Crystal simpered

“A foal that we managed to save” I sighed

“You saved her; I just stood on your shoulder, as I always used to do” she rebuked

“You still owe me two-hundred bits” I folded my arms

“Speaking of crude activities, has anyone ever actually calculated how long your ‘Mini-me’ is when you’re in eon form?” crystal raised an eyebrow, everyone stared at her

“Probably not, but that doesn’t mean we can’t” Blaze smirked

“That wasn’t a challenge, Blaze” I shook my head

“Just change so we can get this over with” she patted my shoulder, I changed to eon form, she immediately used her tongue to orally assault my nether regions, my dick springing out into her maw, she quickly pulled away

“I’d call that a foot long,” she grinned “you got an impressive set of meat and veg on you, Tesla”

“Unintentional of course” I bit my lip as she leapt onto my back, turning me around so that I was facing upward, sliding my length into her depths “not again…”

“Bite me” I frowned again as we stood/hovered in the main hall of the castle in canterlot

“Maybe I will,” she grinned “but it won’t be a bite I can assure you, my love” she winked

“You can’t catch a break, can you Tesla?” Cadance nickered as a mint green unicorn with a mane and tail of the same colour with white highlights trotted toward me, gleaming from ear to ear

“I’m Lyra the unicorn held out a hoof, which I shook “and I’ve something I’d like to both ask; and something I’d like to confess”

“Go on” I smiled

“I love you,” Lyra blurted out, flinching “I’m fascinated by humans, though mostly I was ridiculed for my beliefs, but now that you’re here, we can finally show the Ponies of Equestria what you’re like, truly!”

“And your question, what is it?” I tilted my head

“Will you do me?” she lowered herself to the ground, biting her lip, tears welling in her eyes “I just want to see if ponies and humans are sexually compatible

“Sure, why not,” I shrugged “I mean I’m inclined to do anything at this point”

“Thank you, your majesty,” she picked me up in a primrose aura of magic, carrying me through the castle, closing and locking us in one of the spare bedrooms

“Pun intended?” I collapsed onto the arm red carpet, Celesta teleported down to my side, changing to her anthro form, kneeling, placing my head on her lap as she turned me on my back

“What cruel fate has befallen my dear knight this day?” Celestia spoke in a calming/soothing, motherly tone

“Nothing I can’t handle, princess” I slowly raised a hand, gently running my fingers through her mane, placing it carefully on her cheek “what curse has befallen Equestria to have such beautiful princesses?”

“What curse has befallen Equestria to hand us a knight fit for the high hall of heaven?” she raised an eyebrow, holding my hand in hers, I found her delicate touch to be rather calming, needless to say, placing it on my chest, “or is it a gift that you’re here with us, Sir Tesla, living in Equestria, treated as you should be, with me, together” she smiled

“Guards, you may leave us” the guards-ponies in the room quickly trotted out, grinning at me like an idiot as they left “now,” she simpered, staring down at me, her normally lilac eyes now with a tint of scarlet in them “what can I do for you?” she began to stroke my hair with a gentle hand

“What do you want to do?” I shrugged

“Just relax,” she gleamed “just for once I’d like a day where I don’t have to worry about the safety of my friends, one day where all I had to do was look after you, my dear Rick”

“Looks like someone’s got a fantasy” Crystal grinned, raising an eyebrow toward me

“Indeed” Luna smiled

“Come, I believe we have a bit of fun to be getting on with” she smiled, lifting me onto her back with her magic, draping my arms around my neck, holding my legs up with her hands, carrying me to her chambers, my vision fading to black

“Wakey, Wakey wise-ass” Blaze grinned from ear to ear as I sat upright , standing alongside my friends and family

“What happened?” I blinked, letting out a yawn as I stretched

“You fell asleep” Celestia sat beside me, her form unchanged “you’ve remained undisturbed for three whole days, so I asked for Luna and Cadance to take over until you awoke, Rick” she smiled

“Three days huh?” I clicked my neck, followed by my shoulders, Snowdrop leapt at me

“Are you Ok, Daddy?” Snowdrop gleamed

“I’m fine Snowflake, don’t worry about me, it’s you that I should worry about Ok?”

“Ok” she beamed

As I stood in the gardens, my friends and family stood at a distance as I burst into flames tensing my muscles as a great pillar of flame enveloped me, reaching the heavens above, scales appearing on my arms, hands and face, my wings also growing additional scales as well, my horns lengthened slightly as my fangs did also, my eyes becoming slits (or so I’d later been told),

“‘Dragon Force,’” Blaze whistled “looks like Tesla’s found a way to upgrade it even further”

“So it would seem” Celestia smiled, the pillar of fire instantly dissipated as I turned to face her, bowing on one knee “rise” she winked, turning her attention to Crystal “quite the charmer, isn’t he?”

“Tesla does that,” Crystal shrugged as I stood upright “it’s in his nature”

“Pun intended?” Snowdrop laughed

“Quite so” she smiled “How long d‘ya reckon this one’s going to last?” she grinned “my bets are on a week

“I’d say a month, at best” Blaze raised an eyebrow

“And I don’t care” Snowdrop stood atop my head, having perched herself there “even if his form and abilities may vary like the wind itself, he’ll still be my daddy, and my hero” as she finished speaking, a crown-like halo appeared above my head, and my wings flashed with a blinding light, if only for a brief moment, turning a brilliant whitish-golden colour

“Ryū oki tenshi” Snowdrop and I gleamed in perfect unison

As I flew around the edges of ponyville in eon form, my friends and family either upon my back or walking alongside me, the bearers of the elements, spike included, my ears bean to twitch, pulling me toward a clearing about the size of the average bedroom, pulling me down to the ground, the pull becoming more and more forceful with each second, literally dragging me underground

A torch quickly lit up on either side of my a now dimly lit corridor that looked spiral-shaped

“Well this is interesting,” I whistled, the ground above me fading from view, allowing the light of the sun and the air from above to come pouring in

“How long has this been here?” Spike climbed down, quickly followed by the others

“By my guestimate, ages” I rolled my eyes, leading a makeshift expedition into the darkness below, torches lighting up and fading as we went by

“Or eons even!” Crystal laughed; I raised an eyebrow as we came across a thick, heavy intricately carved doorway

“And how do we get this open?” as soon as I said ‘open’ the door slid open, sliding into the ceiling, revealing an enormous chamber, one with butter-yellow stones that shone with the radiance of a star, the walls and floors had symbols that formed letters and worse alongside depictions, not unlike those on the caverns on the Lunar isles

“So you have, at last, arrived, Sir Tesla” a pony at the opposite edge of the cavern, she had a black/indigo coat, and a long mane and tail that, like Celestia’s, Luna’s and Nyx’s blew softly in an invisible breeze, that of which had what looked like galaxies slowly spinning inn them, her eyes were a brilliant yellowy-golden colour, her smile was as warm as a summer’s breeze

“Who are you?” I frowned, my friends and family leaping safely to the ground, quickly reverting to human form

“I’m Lulania, or as you’d recall, Shannon Perry” the mare giggled as the princesses teleported beside me “Hello, Rick”

“Prove it” I folded my arms, she raised an eyebrow

“You used to wait for me in the reception are of the college we went to, remember?” she smiled “and that we used to announce our love in front of basically anyone who’d listen; is that enough, my love?” everyone stared at me

“Yeah I’d say that does it” I laughed “

“She, Lulania, creator of all that exists, is your ex-marefriend?” Celestia raised both eyebrows

“She what,” I felt pale, glancing toward Celestia, then back toward Lulania, who winked

“I am the creator of the universe; some might say that I am god,” Lulania giggled “I created all that exists, and I shall crate all that will exist in the future, no matter how near or far and will continue to do so for the rest of my days” she smiled

“But that would mean…” I stammered, her form changed to that of a woman in her late teens, with dark brown hair that went down between her waist and her shoulders, pale blue eyes, a black shirt, a bright pink jacket, a pair of jeans and black shoes with a ring on the appropriate finger “I’ll be damned”

“‘Everything you do, you do it for her’,” Blaze whistled “did you not say that once, brother?”

“That I did” I slowly nodded “but I only met you not even two centuries ago, how can you be the creator of humans?”

“Because I created your old self, the one who led the eons across Equis, and I am that of which merged it with that of who you are today” Lulania gleamed “I wished to see how you’d cope with a new form with no memory of your past,” I frowned, she sighed “believe me Tesla, what I felt was real, as was what you felt, our love burned with passion, but was cut short by we-know-who” she flashed her eyebrows at me

“I see that my great-grand-aunt still lives then?” Cadance smirked

“You’re what!?” Blaze and I gaped

“She’s our grandmother” Luna smiled “did Faust not tell you?”

“Nope” Blackjack pursed her lips

“So this is her, is it?” Velvet and Littlepip stood either side of me beside Blackjack

“Not bad, you got good taste TK” Blackjack laughed

“But that would mean that…” I trailed off

“Time travels faster here than it does on earth, and besides, I travelled back in time, had Faust, and then travelled back,” Lulania shrugged “and then she had Celestia, Luna, and, by the transitive property, the being you call ‘Nyx’”

“Well there go my morals” I rolled my eyes, turning and marching out of the room, my friends and family following me out of the cavern, up the staircase, and into the forest, when the town was out of eye-and-earshot, I let out a deafening fusion of both a scream and a roar, scales rapidly emerging on my hands, arms and face, my canines extending slightly, a great pillar of blood-red flames encompassing me, my vision fading to black

As my vision blurred, I found myself lying on the ground, the sun’s rays beaming down upon me

Sitting upright, I saw my friends and family sat round me, all with worried looks plastered upon their muzzles

“What happened?” I mumbled, slowly shaking my head

“You went AWOL,” Blaze shuddered “you went on a complete rampage, if it weren’t for our combined strength; you’d be halfway across Equis by now,” she sighed “I’ve never seen you that angry, brother, I can only imagine a glimmer of what you’re feeling right now

“Where are we?” I fell back on the ground

“I don’t know, you didn’t stop, so we had to physically knock you out” she shrugged, I steadily got to my feet

“And the others?” I bit my lip

“They ran as soon as they saw you, I don’t think you’re going to be welcome in Ponyville for a while now Brother”

“Alright, where did I go, east, north, west, or south?”

“East” Snowdrop perched herself on my head as Kiary landed on my shoulder

“Then we go southwest to get to Nyx” I declared, wandering in the direction I hoped would land me back with Nyx, my friends and family following me as I went

After a day’s trek through the forests and plains of Equestria, I found myself entering the castle in the forest

“Hello Tesla” Nyx smiled as I marched into the throne room

“Greetings’ your grace” I bowed quickly

“I must say I’m both flattered by your manners; and impressed by the magic you expelled over the last week” she nickered

“Heard that did you?” I avoided her gaze

“Hard not to, my dear Knight,” she smiled “best use that power for good from now on then, Rick,” I gave her and odd look “Crystal visited me whilst you were tearing the country apart, quite the name, Rick Hawkins”

“Thank you, I think” I tilted my head slightly

“Save your thanks for later, because of you, barely over a third of the Everfree forest exists” she raised an eyebrow “what’ll you do now, Human?”

“What can I do?” I sighed

“You may live here with me for as long as you like, I will not stop you from your rest, my little eon” she hummed “although I must commend you on returning to me, for I fear that Ponyville would not yet be ready to accept you back within their borders, not yet anyhow”

“I understand their fear of me, for my new power isn’t without risk, milady” I exhaled sharply “So be it…”

A month passed, and I’d like to think that Nyx and I became somewhat closer in that time

“Shall you be leaving now, my knight?” Nyx smiled

“I’ll be back, most likely sooner than we think” I chuckled

“Farewell, Rick” she bowed as we left the castle, raising a hand, finger and thumb in an ‘L’ shape as I walked through the forest

“She wasn’t joking when she said a third” I blinked, the rest of the forest that I’d yet to walk through was reduced to ash , burnt and mangled branches, and the rotting leaves that’d yet to fade to dust

“You went overkill, what more do you want?” Blaze shrugged as we progressed through the charred forest

As we approached ponyville, barely anyone looked up to so much as glance at me, only shudder as they went passed, or merely nod toward me

“I wonder how Twilight’s doing” I shook my head

“She’s been quiet, hasn’t come out of the library, not since the incident last month” Roseluck trotted toward me, alone “how’re you doing, Hon?”

“I’ll live” I tilted a hand “What about the others?”

“They haven’t been around that much either” she sighed “Rarity keeps overly obsessing herself with her work, more so than usual,” Applejack’s been downright livid, Rainbow Dash barely visits anymore, Fluttershy’s in the hospital after having a heart attack, and Pinkie Pie tried to kill herself, so that’s basically the events of the past month”

“And the princesses?” I flinched

“Cadance’s horrified, and Luna and Celestia daren’t say a word, or so I’ve heard, and Faust’s been rather sombre also” she shrugged “No matter what you may think, you’re not to blame for this, Lord Tesla, you were but a pawn in fate’s hands in the chess game of the gods, so to speak”

“Thank you, Roseluck, good day to you” I bowed quickly, walking with my friends and family to the library, finding my rucksack outside

Reaching into my inventory, I quickly found the ‘Game of thrones’ book series, stacking them into a pile on the doorstep, closing the rucksack, slinging it over my shoulders, knocking in the door, and then walking away

“You just left them there?” Blaze glanced toward me as we walked

“She read the first one, so she might as well read the set” I mumbled “

“And now that they’re more or less scared shitless about you, what’ll you do?” she raised an eyebrow

“I’ve no idea” I muttered “I never wanted to harm anyone, I was just angry about being lied to like that”

“So angry that you destroyed two thirds of the forest?” she quickly covered her mouth, nobody appeared to pay attention to her words other than me “you’re a strange one Tesla, Y’know that?”

“I don’t care, I just want…” I trailed off “I just want...” I stammered “I just want it to be how it was when I came here…!” I clenched my fists

“Tesla?” I turned around

Twilight was stood there, her purple eyes now bloodshot as Spike stood beside her, gulping audibly as he stared at me

“Leave me be, before I break something else” I grumbled

“I’m not here for that” she sniffled “I understand your anger, I can feel your pain, but I can only imagine a glimmer of it, Applejacks declared her love for you as soon as you left, Fluttershy fell to pieces, and Pinkie Pie went, well, insane, that’s as best as I  can describe it”

“What of Rarity?” Blaze glanced between me and Twilight

“She’s totally lost it, and I mean gone completely off the deep end” Spike shuddered

“And Rainbow Dash?” Blackjack raised her eyebrows

“Barely visits anymore because she’s afraid that you’ll kill her” Twilight stared right at me in the eyes

“This is because of me” I collapsed to my knees “if I hadn’t of discovered that cavern, if I hadn’t found Lulania-”

“Nopony could’ve prevented what happened, Tesla” Twilight stated rather boldly “you’re the Twilight dragon, the Hakumei No Ryu no Kishi, remember?” she placed a gentle hoof against my leg “you’re our knight lord and saviour, cliché as it might be, it’s a fact of life, wherever danger may arise, the Lunar dragon will be there to defeat it, right Tesla?” I changed to eon form, my friends and family quickly leaping onto my back, I nodded

“Wherever there is evil I shall be there to knock it down” I gave a faint smile

“I believe the term is ‘I will be there to smack it down,’ brother” Blaze laughed

“Same difference” I shrugged

“So it is” she rolled her eyes “what’ll you do now?”

“That depends on what can be done, and what needs to be done” I frowned

It took a lot of work, but Pinkie Pie eventually cheered up and was allowed from the hospital, although her beaming smile wasn’t as bright as it had been, and I doubted that it ever would be again

“Can you check on Fluttershy for me, I’ve a cyan Pegasus to handle” I glanced toward the pink mare, who nodded thoroughly

“No problem-o Ricky!” she almost cheered, bounding in gaits toward the hospital

“Now, about Rainbow Dash” Littlepip sighed “where do we start?”

“Canterlot” I simply smirked

“We’re visiting the princesses?” she blinked

“Daring Doo” I corrected her, gliding to the mountain city, my friends and family all aboard my back, Blackjack flying alongside me

Knocking on the door of the author-pony, I was met with a soft smile from the pale golden mare

“Is there something I can do for you, milord?” Daring Doo bowed

“Do you have it?” I winked

“The books,” she titled her head, I nodded “I do, but they’re the first copies, but I’m sure I can make an exception for you, Rick” she handed them to me

“Thank you” I smiled, pecking her cheek, her face immediately flushed a deep crimson as I glided out through the entrance of the castle, and toward the library, knocking on the door to said library

“Hello” Twilight opened the door only slightly, poking her head through, I could smell the raw fear that leaked through the gap between the door and the frame “what do you need?” I handed her the books

“You’ll know who to give these to” I smiled, she nodded, closing the door behind her as she took the books into the library, followed by a muffled conversation behind the door to the literal treehouse, I turned and flew away, gliding somewhat aimlessly toward the forest

Once there my ears began to pull me toward a certain cave

When I was at the innermost section of the cave, the tree of harmony, or so I’d learnt it to be called, shone with an almost blinding light it’s form and/or shape rapidly changing to one of a four legged form, like that of a pony

As the light faded, I saw a tall, pony, or what looked like an oddly-shaped unicorn with a swan-like neck, one with cloven hooves, a pure, snow-white coat with sapphire eyes and a lilac mane and tail with Twilight’s crown, only with six gemstones, one an eight-pointed star, connected at the top, and another five along the frame each a different colour/type, with what looked like bright pink daisies in her mane and tail, the mane of which was styled in a type of bun, her horn tipped like a tuning fork, the shorter point sticking up behind the longer one, her cutie mark was a six-pointed star-shaped flame with white on the inside, and a lilac-y-pinkish colour along the edges, her mane also had the small pinkish beads I’d also seen on the tree hanging from it’s mane  I immediately bowed on one knee, having reverted to human form, by friends and family stood beside me, Kiary stood upon my shoulder, and Snowdrop perched upon my head

“Hello, little ones” the being spoke in a beyond-motherly/angelic tone, smiling at me “you may rise, I am not your ruler, I am merely harmony, and as such, I have taken note of your acts this past year, Element of Nature” her horn flared, releasing a wave of bright white energy that rushed over me and out through the mouth of the cave “I have now returned all as it was before your little outburst, Human” she smiled “I am to accompany you, Nature, for you have displayed act of chaos, that of which needs to be observed by its characteristics and audacity, so to speak” she went on “now, shall we take our leave, Nature?”

“We shall, milady” I bowed quickly, standing upright, walking with my friends and family alongside the being of Harmony out of the cave, and out of the forest

“We felt a huge tremor from the Everfree forest-!” Twilight galloped toward me, her friends reluctantly following her “who on Equis is she?”

“It is of no surprise that you do not recognize me, Element of Magic” the newly transformed tree of harmony smiled

“You’re…!” she gasped

“I am the unison of harmony, the combined power, speed and magic of your elements put into a single being” Harmony slowly nodded

“What’d ya’ll do this time pardner?” Applejack simpered

“Nature has done nothing, the rumbling and the forest returning to its once wondrous state is my own doing and mine alone” Harmony winked at me “I, Harmony, have reversed the chaos caused by nature, as it is in my nature,” she giggled “pun not intended”

“How did you change into that form?” Twilight eyed harmony from horn-to-hoof-tip

“Magic, isn’t that your element, Twilight Sparkle?” she tilted her head slightly “go on, tell your princesses that I have arrived, we have much to discuss, little one” Within the blink of an eye, the princesses, Faust included, stood before me, stationed between Twilight, harmony and I

“It would seem as though you‘ve done the irreversible, little eon” Celestia raised an eyebrow

“So it would” I bit my lip

“I don’t believe we’ve met,” Harmony smiled, holding out a hoof “I’m Harmony, you majesty”

“You needn’t call us by our title” Celestia smiled, faintly, “Just call me Celestia, Harmony”

“And who might you be?” Harmony glanced toward Cadance

“I’m Princess; Mi amore Cadenza” Cadance held out a hoof, Harmony shook it, somehow, a loud/deafening roar rand through my ears from behind me

Turning around I saw a massive, mild purple bear with sabre-like fangs and a twelve pointed star upon its head that shone like the sun

“It’s an Ursa Major!” Twilight gasped “from what I’ve read even an alicorn would have problems defeating one”

“How will you fight it, Nature?” Harmony turned with me to face the monster, glancing toward me

“You expect me to fight, after all that’s happened to me and my friends as of late?” I spat “and people dared to call me thick”

“Then how do you expect to be rid of it?” she raised an eyebrow

“Fine, but I expect you to let me know if I go overkill” I frowned

“I shall aid you in this fight” Ember appeared, fading into view beside me, fusing with me in spirit unity

“Modo Raien Ryū” Blaze observed with a calm expression

“Not that I’ll need to use it” I shrugged, Snowdrop and Kiary glided to the ground as I raised my arm above me, the energy I had stored within it morphing it into a large drill with a sudden flash of light, as I concentrated further, the drill increased in size fivefold  “Giga…” I used my flame-based magic as a means of propulsion to launch myself at the bear, the drill and I spinning as one “Drill…” my speed doubled with each second I flew at the monster-sized creature I bought forth a clenched paw which was broken through with ease “break!” I burst through the bear’s chest area with a thundering explosion, landing on the ground behind it after a triple-forward-flip, the drill reverting to its normal size, my arm also reverting to normal, the bear shattering like a massive glass window, it’s shards disintegrating as they fell

“How in the bucking hell did you do that!?” Rainbow Dash blared, quickly covering her mouth with a rapidly-placed hoof

“I simply converted my magic energy to spiral energy, then used that to amplify the drill’s size and power” I shrugged

“So you did,” Harmony nickered “a rather interesting way to take down such a large creature”

“And now I feel light headed” I mumbled, shaking my head, staggering a bit as A familiar draconequus popped into view before me

“What do you want, Discord?” I sighed

“I’m just here to say hello to my polar opposite” The no doubt self-acclaimed ‘lord of Chaos’ held up his hands defensively

“Discount John De Lancie” Blaze face-pawed

“Indeed” I smirked

“Beg pardon?” He raised an eyebrow

“It’s a joke, nothing special” I shrugged, Snowdrop and Kiary perching themselves back on my head and shoulder respectively

“Then you won’t mind telling me?” he folded his arms

“And possibly end the universe here-and-now?” I laughed “don’t think so, chimera”

“Where’s the fun in not trying?” he shrugged

“Because I actually give a shred of a damn about someone other than myself” I scowled

“Touché, eon, touché” he slowly nodded as Ember appeared above me in her usual ghostly form

“That was amazing, how’d you do it!?” Ilona clung onto my, wrapping her arms around my neck

“A bit of spiral and magic energy melded into one” I smiled

“I could feel the explosion from the wave of magic that gave you those mechanical limbs, human” Discord smirked “quite the charmer, aren’t we”

“If you’re trying to annoy me it’s not exactly working,” I spat “I beat your sorry ass once, I can just as easily do it again”

“I’d like to see you-!” I quickly lunged at him, knocking him on his back, Dawnbreaker held against his neck

“If you’re going to boast, I’m the wrong person to do it to, scum” I snarled

“Noted” he audibly gulped, I huffed, sheathing the Daedric blade, standing upright as he hovered back above the ground “but you do realize I’m Faust’s honorary son?”

“What?” I snapped, glowering at him

“I’m Faust’s honorary next of kin, only with chaos rather than life itself” he gave a smug grin “she didn’t tell you?”

“Then that’d mean…!” Twilight glanced toward Celestia”

“We are his sisters also,” Celestia sighed “although we don’t see it as that, at least, I didn’t”

“Not even going to ask” I held up my hands, as if to block an oncoming insult, or attack

“Then that’d make you…” Littlepip glanced between me and the ‘lord of Chaos’

“I would rather die than be related to such trash” I scoffed, turning around as I heard footsteps, the figure walking toward us was an alabaster alicorn -no taller or shorter than Cadance-, with a navy mane and tail with a black crown and necklace akin to that of Celestia’s “oh no way!”

“Is there something wrong, father?” the alicorn, now obviously a female tilted her head, it took all I had in me to keep myself from screaming

“Nothing much” I bit my lip, walking with my friends and family toward the castle in the Everfree changing to eon form, gliding on as they leapt upon my back

As I arrived at the castle, flying into the throne room, Nyx gazed at me with a worried expression

“Are you well, my dear Knight?” Nyx gave a faint smile

“I’m as good as I’ll get, for now” I hummed

“Perhaps I can make it better?” she winked, pecking my cheek

“Maybe, but I’d rather be with you than they, for the moment” my honorary passengers landed safely on the ground, Snowdrop remaining on my head as I reverted to human form, draping my arms around her as she did me her wings

“How may I assist you, my love?” she purred

“Live” I chuckled

“Everything I do, I do it for you, Rick” she smiled

“Likewise, Princess” I quickly bowed

“Please, call me by the name you gave me, my dear Knight” she nickered

“By your word, Nyx” I nodded

“What of Celestia and the others, grown tired of them have we?” she gave a playful, and somewhat suggestive, smirk, winking

“I care not for royalty, save three” I rolled my eyes “you, my dear Nyx, Luna, and Faust”

“You’ve no idea how much it warms me to hear you say that” she glimmered

“Just say the word, and it shall be done” I bowed

“You’re quite the charmer aren’t you,” she planted her lips on mine “I may have to give you a gift for your admirable loyalty, Rick”

“Thy gratitude is far more than satisfactory, milady” I smiled

The next day, next week, after much super-happy-fun-time with Nyx, I staggered toward ponyville, managing to stumble across the town before the sun even rose, my friends and family wearily following me, Snowdrop and Kiary in their usual places

“What’s going on?” I found Twilight and her friends, minus Pinkie Pie, stood/hovering outside the aptly named ‘Sugarcube corner,’ or so I’d been told

“Pinkie Pie’s not been seen since two days ago” Twilight yawned

“Are we sure we need to do it this early, Celestia hasn’t even raised the sun yet!” Rainbow Dash grumbled

“She doesn’t need to, you were all with me when she was by my side and the sun raised itself, right?” I shrugged

“What’s your point?” she glared at me

“Don’t fuck around with gravity” I rolled my eyes as Twilight knocked on the door, which immediately swung open, revealing the pink earth pony mare in all her hyperactive glory, quickly pulling us inside

“What is all this?” Twilight glanced about the room, which was filled with piles of variously coloured stones

“I need help taste testing these rock-candies for when my sister comes to ponyville today!” Pinkie Pie chirped

“It looks almost literal, the candy I mean” Blaze laughed

“It is” she giggled, I picked one from the nearest pile using ‘Purple Flare,’ breaking it in half with my teeth, crunching it to dust, then swallowing it

“Not bad” I nodded, finishing the fruit-flavoured pebble

“You can eat those?” Rainbow Dash blinked

“I can eat any type of gemstone you can think of, Rainbow,” I smiled “be it ranging from sapphire to onyx, or ruby to diamond, I can bite through it like Spike can, if not easier”

“And you’re sure you shouldn’t be picking her up from the station?” Twilight turned her attention to Pinkie Pie, who was stuffing herself with the multi-coloured rocks

“I will, I just need to make a few of these into necklaces!” the fuchsia haired pony cheered

As we stood near the lake by/on/around a red-and-white checkered blanket, with Twilight opening the basket

“So where’ve you been for the past week Tesla?” Rarity asked, glancing toward me with a comically large magenta hat covered in crystal-clear gemstones

“Out” I lay on my side in eon form, my family and friends lying around me, noticing a few of the crystals from her hat had fallen into the basket, picking one up and biting into it, devouring it my eyes slowly moving from side to side “it’s got the transparency of a rock crystal, but the quality of feldspar, and the taste of an emerald” I quickly hummed “strange”

“It was a diamond,” she deadpanned “and I thank you for eating it before I could re-use it, Tesla” she sighed as pinkie Pie trotted over the hill toward us

“She’s coming now, I told gummy to stay with her in case she got lost” Pinkie Pie leapt from hoof-to-hoof, everyone apart from my friends, family and I stared toward the hill she’d bounded from “She’s not as fast as I am though” she giggled

“Few people are, unless you count Arrancar” I chuckled “they can travel at the speed of sound itself, wherever and whenever they wish to do so, merely by thinking about it” I clicked my neck, placing my head on the cool, soft grass, my gaze turned toward the somewhat distant mild grey figure slowly making its way toward us, eventually stopping, within mere inches of us, stopping to stare at a pebble, sniffing it curiously

“Sedimentary, the pony, a mare with a grey coat and a darkish/pale lavender/purple mane and tail hummed

“A geologist then,” I raised an eyebrow

“Indeed” she gave a faint smile “are you interested in earth sciences, strange creature?”

“Somewhat,” I shrugged

“And your chest item, it is gemstone?” she stared at my chest symbol, as if her gaze was transfixed to it

“Pure, clean and simple, straight from Crystagia” I nodded

“Interesting,” she raised an eyebrow “I’m Maud and you are?” she walked up to me, holding out a hoof, which I gladly shook

“Tesla, or Rick, depending on your choice” I smiled

“Have you studied any of Florence Bascomare’s works?” she tilted her head

“Never heard of them” I shrugged, “I do know various gemstones and their different characteristics, however,”

“Quite,” she gave another faint smile “would you be interested in joining me later?” she winked “I hear the fields to the south of here are littered with gems”

“The only gems there’re the ones guarded by the Filthy Diamond Dog, the ruffians” Rarity scorned

“Not that they’d want to, Meanwhile Tesla was going AWOL, well, let’s just say they won’t be bothering anyone anymore,” Blaze laughed “he heated the earth around their little underground home to the point where it practically melted, they came up to see what was wrong, saw Tesla, then ran as fast as they could, those who chose to fight were turned to all but the faintest remains of ash”

“You can control fire?” Maud blinked; I nodded, setting my claws aflame “it seems that you are not without surprises, Rick, what else can you do?”

“Where does the list start?” Blaze prodded my neck with a smug grin

“You can talk?” she blinked again “you have some interesting friends, Rick”

“She’s my sister,” I grinned

“How so,” Maud

“My original family was killed by poachers, it wasn’t a pleasant sight” Blaze hummed “but then Tesla took me in and cared for me, much like an older brother would!”

“Shouldn’t that be a ‘loving father,’ rather than ‘older brother’?” she gave me a rather perplexed look

“Blaze has too much pride in her to allow such a thing to be possible, right, dear sister?” I beamed

“Too right!” Blaze chortled

“And you’re named blaze, why, exactly?” she raised the other eyebrow, the ring around the back of Blaze’s neck lit with a bright crimson flame “I see, a fire based animal, interesting, what else can you do, Rick?” everyone stared at me, I quickly reverted to human form, Snowdrop and Kiary taking their usual places upon my head and shoulder respectively

“Where does the list start?” I smiled

“What are you?” she eyed me up and down

“A human, an eon, and a dragon slayer” I shrugged “there isn’t that much else to say, really”

“Interesting” she slowly nodded “and you can use magic, I assume, Rick?”

“That I can,” I conjured a flame in either hand

“Fire,” she blinked

“Sort of,” I tilted a flaming hand “it’s more a crystalline fire than a normal flame, technically speaking”

“How can you have crystalline fire?” Rainbow Dash frowned

“You’d have to ask Crystagia” I smirked

“You mean the legendary Crystal dragon?” Maud blinked “you know her?”

“She’s both my magic tutor, and my foster parent” I gave a weak smile “she’s incredible”

“That she is, I saw her flying overhead on her way here, I assume that was to meet you?” she smiled

“That it was,” I nodded, again

“I’ve only ever heard of her in the legends our parents used to tell us as foals, myths and fairy-tales of a mystic crystal dragon, capable of bringing Equis to its knees,” she stared at me, beaming “you truly are an interesting being, Rick, am I to assume that you’re from another world?”

“I am,” I bowed quickly, turning my attention to Pinkie Pie “they used to teach you about Crystagia, Pinkie?”

“I never really paid attention to it,” the pink mare shrugged with a grin “I mean, what kind of dragon would your mom be if she were a mass murderer?” she giggled

“Quite” Snowdrop simpered “Crystagia’s not a murderer nor a thief or a villain in general, she’s on our side, right, Daddy?”

“Right” I smiled as a great the earth rumbled, I glanced behind me

Crystagia was arced around me, smiling down at me

“Hey mom” I gleamed

“Hello, my son” Crystagia cooed “I hear you’ve been somewhat chaotic, as of late, would you mind explaining that?” I quickly explained the events of the past two months, without telling anything personal “So,” she raised an eyebrow “you found the hall of the ancients then?”

“That’s what it’s called?” I tilted my head ever-so slightly “it reminds me of the cavern on the lunar isles”

“Let’s not get started on the ‘familiar’ status you received” Blaze smirked

“Familiar, you mean like a summoning spell?” Twilight’s expression quickly turned from one of confusion to a wicked grin

“I somehow got warped with Blaze to another world, can we drop it now?” I frowned “besides of which, it hasn’t a thing to do with the current conversation”

“You didn’t seem to mind back then, so why now?” my sister gave a smug grin

“Because my fire magic doesn’t affect an actual salamander, s I couldn’t really do much, and I wasn’t going to risk hurting it anyway”

“You apparently didn’t care about what happened afterwards” she shrugged with a wicked leer “I could hear you down the hallway

“With a Salamander,” Twilight shuddered “Really?”

“No, the lizard was just someone else’s familiar, one of which was strong enough to carry me down the hallway whilst walking on its hind legs alone” I grumbled “Damn things fast”

“Didn’t she give you something afterwards, an egg, was it not?” Blaze tilted her head

“You’ve no idea how many jokes I could make out of that one line” I smirked

“He actually admitted it!” Blaze chortled “in fact, I saw you carried all the way to the third floor, to a certain mage’s room; I do believe she asked you to, ‘light her fire,’ was it?”

“She uses fire in a similar way I do, that’s all” I scoffed, taking my rucksack from my shoulders, reaching around inside it, bringing out a large crimson/blood red egg with golden zigzag patterns running along its surface, placing it in my lap, both hands blazing as I placed them on its sides, draping my wings around it

“That’s no egg that I’ve ever seen” Blaze and Twilight spoke in almost-perfect unison

“The egg of a salamander is quite different from that of a dragon” Crystagia explained “for instance, noticed how it’s slightly bigger, and yet an adult salamander will grow to about twelve feet, and will learn how to use its flame-based attacks as a child, be careful Tesla, this might be your greatest challenge yet” the egg started to crack

“Here it comes!” Rainbow Dash stood before me alongside the others as the egg burst open with a flash of crimson flame, revealing a lizard-like creature with stocky horn-like appendages on the sides and angles of its head, its light jade eyes like slits, it’s scales a pale scarlet colour, and it’s underside was a bright golden colour, the flame on the tip of its tail burned with a bright glimmer as it stared up at me, curled up in my lap, it measured to around a foot long from snout to the flame on the tail-tip

“Isn’t he cute” I smiled

“You’re seriously, seriously, warped, brother” Blaze laughed softly “Although it is a little adorable, for a lizard”

“Salamander” I corrected her

“Same thing” she shrugged, the salamander in my lap gave a little cough, followed by a fireball sprouting from its mouth, which quickly faded

“He needs a name, now that he’s trying to find his hidden flame” the dragon behind me smiled

“Scarlet” I smiled, gently stroking the lizards head, Scarlet gave a light purr

Blaze raised an eyebrow “didn’t Kirche name hers Flame?”

“I thought it fitting” I smiled, glancing down toward my new friend “do you like the name, Scarlet?” Scarlet nodded, softly nuzzling into me, licking my hand as I scratched underneath her chin, her tongue was course, like sandpaper, and almost serpentine, I smiled

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen an actual salamander,” Twilight held out a nervous hoof toward Scarlet, who sniffed it, then nuzzled it quickly, clambering up my chest and hanging on my empty shoulder, nuzzling into me again as Twilight magicked a quill and paper out of nowhere, writing something down, and then teleporting it elsewhere

“I wonder how the princess will react to having such an interesting creature allied with another” Maud hummed

When we made it to canterlot, entering the throne room, having been allowed entry beforehand, I took notice of the newer alicorn from last week stood beside the princesses

“I heard that we’ve a new species being introduced into Equestria,” Celestia glanced toward Scarlet, then back to me “is this true, Tesla?”

“Perhaps,” I shrugged

“Is that a salamander,” Luna blinked “They’ve not been seen for countless millennia!”

“So Scarlet here’s a borderline legend then?” I chuckled

“It would appear so” the new alicorn smiled, I glanced toward her, she flinched, I rolled my eyes, turning my attention back to Celestia

“Where did you find her?” Celestia smiled

“I got her as an egg from a friend” I bit my lip

“Interesting” she cats a moment’s glance toward the mare beside her, then looked back toward me “I’d like to introduce you to your past self’s daughter-” I turned and left, my friends and family quickly following me as did the alicorn that was beside Celestia

“Father,” she exclaimed

“I’m not related to you in any way, shape or form, and I’ve no reason to be, or want to be as such” I scoffed

“But you…” she had tears in her eyes, I shrugged, walking on toward the main hall, once there, I found Crystal alongside Ilona

“What’s with the lizard?” Crystal smirked

“This is Scarlet,” I smiled

“She’s somewhat cute” she nodded “Where’s Rana?”

“Most likely down at the beach” I sighed

“Hello, Dad” Ilona smiled

“Hello, Ilo” I simpered again as Twilight and her friends trotted toward us

“Tesla,” Rainbow Dash hovered before me “I… I…” she grumbled “why is this so hard to say!?”

“Take your time, Rainbow” I smiled

“I love you!” she blurted out, quickly covering her mouth

“Why now?” I frowned

“Well, she can’t tell you if you’re tearing across Equestria now, can she?” Crystal laughed

“I love all my friends, especially my family, so I can reciprocate the feelings anyone has for me” I glimmered “

“What about me?” Applejack smirked, stepping forward “Ah’ve no doubt that Twilight mentioned mah actions when Tesla went AWOL, and mah words” she winked

“I may’ve heard something on the matter,” I lightly scratched Kiary’s horns “I’ll have to think about it though”

“Do what ya’ll feel is necessary, Pardner, Ah won’t force ya tah do somethin’ ya don’t want tah do, isn’t that what you do?”

“Tesla” Blaze prodded my side, standing on her hind legs “you know about the theory that your magic, like Natsu’s, goes up everytime you fight,” she winked “why don’t we see if there’s a way to prove that?”

“Your magic level increases every time you use it?” Twilight blinked

“Think of it as a muscle,” I smiled “the more it’s used, the stronger it gets”

“Makes sense” she shrugged “So how strong was it when you started using it?”

“Meager, if even that” I exhaled sharply

“And yet you’ve probably enough power which equals Celestia!” Rainbow Dash laughed, Twilight and Applejack glared at her

“That’d be an exaggeration” I tutted “I may’ve beaten a god slayer, but that doesn’t mean I have equal power to that of which their would-be tutors possess”

“There’re god-slayers?”

“And there’s also devil slayers and demon slayers, though the only ones I can think of are the nine demons of Tartarus” I hummed

“How much power do you need for that sort of magic, your magic?” Pepper smiled

“Depends on the element of magic and the size and type of dragon you want dead” I spoke rather morbidly, Shining Armour trotted beside me friends

“I’ve a proposition straight from the princesses” Shining Armour smiled, albeit weakly “She’d like you to show a few of the guard what you can do without weapons or magic”

“Not a wise choice” Blaze tutted “

“She knows how strong you are, and yet she insists on this event taking place” Blaze tutted as she stood with my friends, family, and Scarlet, on the edge of the arena as Flash Sentry stood opposite me

“Her majesty wishes to test your eon friend” Shining Armour smirked

“If you say so” I scoffed as the orange Pegasus before me lunged forward, I struck my arm out, hitting him square between the eyes, sending him sprawling, when he got onto his feet, he fell, puking, collapsing onto his side, his eyes half-lidded, a trio of ponies carried him away, as Shining Armour walked onto the arena floor

“Last time we fought you had to concentrate,” the guard captain grinned “shall we repeat past events or have I gotten too good for you?” I darted forward before he could react, performing a karate chop to the back of his neck, knocking him to the ground, unconscious

“That was hardly any challenge” I clicked my neck

“That’s because half o’ the guard that ya’ll fought were hospitalized!” Applejack laughed

“I told her it was pointless” Shining Armour shook his head “it appears she’s got an agenda for you, Sir Tesla"

“So this is the borderline legendary hero everypony’s talking about,” A white mare with a lavender mane and tail with white highlights giggled, standing beside a cobalt blue stallion with a dark phthalo blue mane and tail, both of them unicorns

“I’m Twilight Velvet,” she held out a hoof, which I shook

“And I’m Night Light” the stallion smiled, also shaking hand-and-hoof with me

“Mom, Dad?” Twilight gasped

“We came to see the event, but also to see how you’re doing, our dear Shooting Star” Twilight Velvet simpered

“Isn’t that what you called Luna?” Blaze smirked

“That it is” I nodded

“And what do you propose to do, should a crisis arise all of a sudden?” Celestia teleported beside me alongside Cadance, Luna and the being that’d been called my daughter

“I’ll do what I can, believe me, but even I can’t save an entire world or country from a threat that prove itself to be impossible to fight” I shrugged

“You’re a little arrogant, but not enough to the point where you believe that you can fight and expect to win, no matter what or who it might be against”, that is good” she smiled

“Everyone has flaws, be it on strength, knowledge or otherwise,” I raised an eyebrow, setting my hand alight, reaching toward Scarlet, who inhaled the flames with apparent glee, licking my hand as the last of the flames vanished down her throat, nuzzling into me “Just one thing you ought to know, princess”

“And what’s that?” Luna raised an eyebrow

“Never tell em how to do my job”

“Well that went rather well, or so I’d say” Blaze blinked

“I think my legs are about to give” I staggered a little, collapsing onto the grass by the lake, my friends, family and Scarlet crowding me as I changed to eon form, lying on the ground, noticing a crystal-clear gemstone, identical to the one from Rarity’s hat, merely lying on the grass, I quickly ate it

“It’s nice out here” Velvet pecked my cheek, quickly followed by Littlepip “Relaxing also”

“So it is” I nodded, placing my head against the lush, green grass “Equestria truly is a land of beauty”

“Quite so” Kiary hummed “sometimes I wonder what it’d be like if I hadn’t of met you, brother”

“Best not think about it, Kiary,” I smiled “you don’t know what might happen if you do, sister”

“Thank you, Rick” she let out a soft giggle “Crystagia always said you were the night of her life”

“Since you’re a knight of Luna, and both Nyx and Celestia, you’re like this world’s equivalent of Takanuva!” Blaze laughed

“Almost” I smiled “I just need the powers of actual dark magic, not just dark fire, and to not be driven insane by it, cliché as that might be”

“I wouldn’t be so certain, you have a little magic given to you by the solar goddess herself, I think that should be enough to counter any dark thoughts that come to mind” she shrugged

“Perhaps, but who’s to say, has there ever been a recorded being on Equis that uses both pure light and dark elements of magic, or is it just a fleeting dream?”

“You paraphrased Igneel?” she guffawed

“That I did” I grinned, Ilona lying beside me, placing her form against mine, nuzzling into me as Scarlet lay atop my neck

“I didn’t expect to find you here, Tesla” a strikingly familiar Pegasus wearing a green jacket and cloche with a compass rose cutie mark smiled, her magenta eyes beaming at me, her greyscale rainbow mane and tail shimmering in the sunlight as she lay beside me on her front, letting out a yawn “So, what’re you up to?” she winked

“Just relaxing,” I clicked my neck “you?”

“It appears we have something in common,” she gave a suggestive grin “I’m here for the rest of the day to lay back, and relax, right before I release the books tomorrow”

“I thought you did” I tilted my head

“Those were limited edition copies, the first books to be; shall we say; ‘Beta-tested’?” she raised an eyebrow “The actual copies have yet to be published, you’ve given your cyan friend quite the artefacts, so to speak, Tesla”

“I’m just here to wind down from the events of late” I sighed, trying not to think of the newly ‘repaired’ forest

“I must say that the being of harmony that Celestia told me about was interesting” she smiled “I might add her to my next book, if she’ll allow me”

“I’d be honoured,” Harmony teleported beside me “I’ve heard of your borderline legendary stories, Miss Doo, I would gladly allow you to add me to one of your novels”

“Tomorrow it is then, when I get to work on my next story; and my next adventure” Daring Doo gleamed, Harmony teleported away, she turned her attention to me “so I hear you have quite the singing voice, perhaps I should add that to your list of abilities as one of my characters?”
