Prologue

[just let me do this]

an agonizing pain shot through my chest as mitch, a huge lump of flesh with a barely defined lump for a head, kicked me in the chest again.
<maybe we can talk them out of it? >

[they will if i beat it into them]
{NO, rage, you of all people should remember what happened last time}
i remembered. every detail. it was similar, i was being attacked because i was different, they leader took it too far and tried to stab me in the eye with a knife. i let rage take over. i ripped free of his cronies and grabbed the knife out of his hand. i got up and snapped the knife in two. i beat them back and sent them all to the hospital. i had broken their arms. i was feared, hated. i had to leave, but where i went was the same as before. i felt another stab of pain that brought me bact to the present, i heard a voice "heh heh, stupid piece of shit" and i felt another stab of pain [WHAT?!?! did that fat lump just call US stupid?!, that's it i'm going to beat them senseless] {NO!}
and my arm whipped out and caught his foot as he tried to kick me again. "so, a tough guy eh?", my body got up quickly and yanked his leg up, making him fall on his fat ass.

and pain lifted the entire fat blob off the ground with one arm, even his little henchmen looked scared. Pain threw Mitch across the entire warehouse, and dented the metal on the other side. some of his henchmen ran away, but a dumb few stayed. Pain picked up the biggest one and said "and why are you still here" he looked terrified and pain threw him, not nearly as hard as mitch, but hard enough to give him the message. Pain walked over to mitch and picked him up again and began slamming him into the wall, then pain began laughing like a maniac as mitch started bleeding on the wall. his henchmen looked absolutely terrified. then it happened, apparently a nail was sticking out of the wall from bad construction, mitch's head stuck to the wall and he stopped moving. {y-you killed him} ~heh, finally~ the rest of his henchmen ran away and i was left all alone. i walked back home with severely conflicting emotions

[*sigh* i think this is good thing]
<*whimpering*>

i walked into my house and packed up all my stuff, and left. i heard sirens following for a while, but i lost them and camped out for the day. i heard an odd noise in the middle of the night and went to investigate.
<wh-what is that thing>
i looked over at what serenity was looking at and saw a strange portal thing.
[let's go through it!]

and i jumped through the portal.
