Nightmare looked around with the strange noises surrounding her every move. She continued through what felt an endless path, going circles and circles. “I should just go back. It’s not like I haven’t done this before”.

She sighed, but it turned to a quick gasp when she spotted a sculpture before her. It was covered in vines, but looking for a few seconds gave her a chance to realize what kind of statue was it. It was Discord. When Twilight and the 5 others used the elements of harmony to bring him back to stone, it seems that they probably left him out in the forest so nopony could find him, until now.

She examined the sculpture slowly, remembering all the chaos caused by that single pony.  After a couple of moments, she started to hear glows and made a loud screech, flying up and zooming away out of the forest.

She came to a sudden stop spotting Twilight a couple of hooves ahead of her, staring at her with complete rage. “Oh, h-hey Twilight…” She walked a bit closer to her. “Angelnightmare, I’m tired of your pranks! I’ve been so behind on my studies it’s such a shame! And you’re just the pony to blame! I thought it would be nice to have a neighbor around but you’re the worst pony ever!” Twilight screamed out, starting to bring in some attention to the ‘conversation’.

“Jeez cool it Twilight, you know I’m just playing with you, right?” Twilight growled. “Playing!? Well your GAMES are just what exactly pushes me to my limits! I just can’t have a pony like you around me, you’re nothing but trouble!”

Nightmare’s ears lowered and she ducked her head down a bit. “Well I don’t mean to cause any harm Twi…I just wanna play…that’s all...”. “Play?? PLAY!?!? How can I play when I’m behind on hours of studies because you always seem to interrupt when I’m in the middle of them!!!”

Angelnightmare stared at her for a few seconds then said, “Well then, fine! I won’t interrupt you anymore! I’ll stay away from you forever! Don’t even call me your neighbor because I won’t!!” She screamed out. “Fine!” Twilight yelled right back. “FINE!” Nightmare continued. They then went on opposite ways and walked away, stomping their hooves.

Twilight went back to the library and slammed the door open and shut. She stomped up the stairs almost knocking down a little purple dragon out of the way. “What’s wrong Twilight? You seem really upset.” He said, rushing up on her trail. “It’s Nightmare, Spike! She’s just horrible! So annoying and rude!” “Well she is Angelnightmare. She likes to tease a few people, but she doesn’t mean it. She’s always nice to me!”

Twilight stopped for a moment, then growled loudly which turned to a scream. “Am I the only one she picks on!?!?” “Well, maybe she does that because you’re her best friend?” Twilight glared at him. “If I am then why would she do that!!” Spike pondered for a while, then he thought, “Maybe because that’s her way of showing you’re her best friend??” Twilight froze. “That just doesn’t make sense! Why in the name of Equestria would she do that!?”

Spike sighed. “Twilight, everyone has their own ways in making friends, and everypony has to accept it. Maybe that was just Nightmare’s way.” Twilight kept frozen, and thought of the argument that occurred before. She looked down. “Oh jeez…then I guess I shouldn’t have gotten mad and yelled at her before. I should of understood that!”

Spike looked at her. “Well you know, that’s why I’M here to help when you don’t get something.” Twilight smiled a bit. “You’re right Spike, thanks.” Spike lifted his chin and smiled, then Twilight went downstairs. “I’m gonna go apologize to Nightmare about the yelling, I’ll be back later.” She said as she closed the door behind her.
