The Doctor was in a bit of trouble more than he had normally. You see he was about to die, well more accurately he was about to regenerate for the first time.

"Doctor whats going on?" his companion asked as he started to glow gold. He smiled before saying "Something fantastic". "Doctor w-whats happening to you?" she asked in fear "Allons-y" was all he could say before being surrounded with golden dust."DOCTOR!" she shouted in fear.

Earlier that evening.

It was a great day for Ponyville because the princess had specifically chosen this town to be the one that holds this year's summer sun celebration she even sent her personal student to inspect the place to make sure it was ready for the festivities that night.But the town also was getting another important visitor as blue box started appearing out of nowhere in an alleyway not far from where the Student had her chariot land a couple hours ago.

The door on the box opened and two ponies came out of it. The first was a young dark blue unicorn mare and a middle aged brown earth pony stallion with a cane.

"Doctor i still don't understand why we have to part ways after this festivities?" his companion asked.

"Its simple Luna after travailing together for so long and all the adventures i thought you would be missing your sister" he said as the two walked towards the local library.

"Doctor why are we heading to a library? I mean i know you like to read but..." Luna said before being interrupted by a pink mare.

"SURPRISE" The pink mare shouted before realizing the two where not the ones she wanted to surprise. "oh sorry i did mean to scare you. Well i did want to surprise somepony but i didn't expect you... Wait who are you anyway i don't think I've seen you two before?" The pink mare asked

"Oh where are my manners this is my friend Serena and im the doctor." He said expecting the question that always comes after he introduces himself but the question never came due to the fact that the mare had gone off to talk to a lavender unicorn mare and a purple dragon.

"Well she was a bit rude wasn't she doctor?" Luna said before realizing that the doctor was not beside her but was instead at the punch bowl. Rolling her eyes she joins him for a drink.

A couple hours past and they headed to the town hall for the celebration.

"So do you think this plan will rely work?" Luna asked in a hushed tone making sure that nopony could hear her.

"Yes im sure it will work" he said as he prepped his sonic screwdriver to dim the lights. As he was pre pairing his screwdriver the lights started to dim and someone introduced Princesses Celestia how ever the pony that took the stage was not her.

"Who are you and what have you done with the princess?" one of them asked

"Don't you know who i am? Don't any of you remember the tales the mare in the moon?" The mare proclaimed

The lavender unicorn from earlier was about to open her mouth to say something but the doctor beat her to the punch "Your the mare in the moon or as Equestria referrer you as Nightmare moon. The Zebras on the other hand know you as The Doom bringer who will bring about the end of days, the griffins also know you as the Dream mother while the Diamond dogs and Changelings know you simply as the Knightmare with a k." he said shocking most of the ponies including the mare in the moon.

"I am impressed mortal i did not expect anypony to know this much about me..." she said before being cutoff by the Doctor.

"There is one more name for you. Fake" He said as everypony gasped as he went on "That's right your nothing but a fake there never was a Nightmare Moon your nothing but a changeling with a personalty disorder." Everyone in the room backed away from the obviously doomed stallion.

"What did you call me you WELP!" Nightmare asked in an angered tone.

"A fake." He said knowing that would egg her on "Oh whats the matter cat got your tongue. Come on then strike me if you can" he said knowing she would use her lightning to hit him.

The nightmare seething with rage used the lightning spell to struck him sending back a couple feet. "Doctor!" Luna shouted as her friend was knocked down.

He surprisingly got back up but coughed up some blood as the Nightmare laughed at his pain. But she stopped laughing when a golden glow."Doctor whats going on?" his companion asked.

He just smiled and looked before saying "Something fantastic".

"Doctor w-whats happening to you?" she asked in fear before he exploded into dust.  "Allons-y" was the last thing he said before being raised off the ground with golden dust surrounding him. "DOCTOR!" Luna shouted in fear as he raised in the air and launched golden dust towards the Nightmare.

The Nightmare backed up out of fear of the floating golden stallion that she just nearly killed. She covered her eyes as the golden glow encased her. As the regenerative energy encased the Nightmare the Doctor went unconscious along with every one in the building and accidentally destroyed part of the town hall.

A couple hours have pasted before the sun rose and most ponies began to rise as a light flue into the room. "Princess Celestia!" The lavender unicorn said.

"Hello my Faithful student" She said examining the room"This isn't the old castle ruins" she muttered to her self before asking "what happened to nightmare moon"

Before Twilight could answer Luna stepped in changing her appearance to give herself wings "I can explain that." Celestia walked right past her student and hugged her sister. "Sister your alright,"She said in joy before being pushed back by her sister. "Luna?" she asked in fear of being rejected by her sister.

"Can we do this later please?" Luna asked as she pulled a device that Celestia could not recognize before having her arm grabbed by a orange earth pony. "You don't need to do that Princess." Luna looked at the pony for a couple moments before realizing who it was. "Captain Applejack Harkness its been a long time hasn't it?" Luna said as the Captain started counting

"Id say about 300 years for me. But enough  about that the changeling has already been brought to the Torchwood burrow close by." She said. Celestia looking confused asked "Luna whats going on? what did she mean by changeling? Or not seeing you for 300 years?"

Luna just sighted "Its a long story that il explain later in canterlot." She then turned to the captain "Have you sent somepony to retrieve the Elements?" The captain nodded before saying "Yes i have sent my best flyer to retrieve them. Oh and the Doctor left this for you." She handed Luna a note.

She looked at the note before saying "He never was one for goodbyes." turning to her sister "Sister lets go home please i'l explain everyth- well almost everything there." she looked around before pointing at the Pink mare from the party a white unicorn a rainbowed maned pony and a yellow pegasus. "Also we should bring them"

A year and a half later

The wedding of Princess Cadence and Shining Armour went off without a hitch the second time but during the reception a familiar sound was heard and a blue police box apeard on the dance floor. The guests where a fraid but as soon as the Bride started saying "Some thing Old, Something New, Something borrowed..." she was cut off by a mad stallion poping out of the box saying "AND SOMETHING BLUE!"

The guards would have gone to surround him if it wasn't for the fact that both Princess Cadence and Shining Armour ran up to him to hug him shouting "Doctor!"
