This is a short story I wrote for the second Ponygoons writing contest. Figured I might as well put this somewhere other than my DeviantArt page, because why not?

For the curious, the contest was to write a short story about some background ponies. I chose Gumdrop to be the main focus, because she is awesome. The other two, Rainbow Day (apparently Rainbowshine now according to the Wikia) and Pumpkin Tart, were seen most around Gumdrop during the Best Young Fliers' Competition, so I added them as her friends. There was a 1000 word limit, so as is my nature I butted up to that limit as close as I could.
