It was a dark and stormy day in Canterlot Castle while Celestia was out signing peace treaties with the Mayor of Mane-Hattan; Luna was left to herself. All that was heard was the sound of hoof steps as Princess Luna Paced Through the lage spacey hallways of the castle because she couldn't get her mind off of her past. The combined thoughts of the past and the present taunted her like a dog in a cage. It had started the previous night when she was freed from the Everfree by Twilight and her friends. Just after they had given their elements back to the Tree of harmony and a strage chest was presented to them, But Luna and Celestia were no strangers to this chest unfortunatly.

It was the night after Summer Sun Festival. Celestia was celebrating the Return of her Younger sister. Luna felt like a lost fily with all the new customs, new royal attire and, rules. All of the Important ponies in Equestria were here, and she didn't want to embarass herself by doing something wrong. While the night dragged on, Luna looked to he older sister for help

Hours after the party, Luna summoned Celestia to her chambers.

"yes sister, you wanted to talk to me?" asked Tia.

" I wanted to thank you for helping me not make a fool of myself back there" said Luna.

"your very welcome Luna, but it was very immature of you when you yelled at that nice unicorn colt."

"The blue maned colt displeased me!! what else was I supposed to do" Luna commanded.

"He bumbed into you! And you could have accepted his appology and walked away." advised Celestia.

"I guess your right, I am a princess after all." Luna was now upset that she had acted such a way in a public setting. She felt that she had shamed her family. but Celestia believed that this small little show of evil and rage was just a sign of the return of Nightmare Moon. She wanted to make sure that the horrible reality of the previous day would never happen agian. And she had plans of doing just that.

The next day Celestia went to the west wing of the castle in the Everfree Forest from before Nightmare Moons First apearance, which wasn't visited by anypony very often. Hoofbeats filled her eardrums as she quickly trotted though the white marble hallways. Celestia glanced over to the beautiful silk tapestry with her family crest on it. A solar eclipse representing the two sisters, the daughters of the sun and the moon. The tapestry projects the unity of the two sisters. Celestia stopped but not to admire the beauty of her family crest. Celestia used her magic to carefully lift the delicate silk off the wall and set it gently on the floor. Celestia turned around to greet a doorway which was hidden from view just moment ago. Celestia trotted into the small yet sun-lit room to greet Luna and a large rectagular chest resting on a pedestal. Suddenly

Luna asked "Are you sure this divice will help me control my anger better?"

Celestia was postive that this divice would do more than that. This divice was known as the lock of souls and to everypony else it was just an olds mare's tale. The lock of souls had the abillity to absorb everypony's eveil spirits but if it got in the wrong hoofs it would be like pandora's box. Celestia anwsered her sisters question

"Yes, it is called the lock of souls and it takes a ponies negative emotions and spirits and trap's them in here" Luna's eye went wide in shock and she started crying in joy

"THANK YOU SISTER, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yelled Luna as he hugged her sister tightly.

"Uh...Luna *gasp* need...air *gasp*" Said celestia while gasping for air.

"oh sorry" Luna said as she let go.

"Okay no go stand in front of the lock" Celestia told her sister.

When Luna was ready Celestia fired a bright white beam at Luna and directed it towards the chest there was no turning back now. Celestia looked back at the now petrified Luna who was slowly being cocooned in a ball of light. Suddenly Nightmare Moon was next to Luna and was slowly being pulled into the chest. and the moment Nightmare was in the chest everything went dark. Celestia lit up her horn and shown it on the chest.

"Did it work?" asked Luna as she walked up next to her sister.

Instead of the Lock of Souls, the pedestal held a little blue hexagonal chest with six keyholes and six keys surrounding it.

"Yes." said Celestia. "yes it did."

"Where are the keys!!!!" Cried Celestia.

"Don't you know?" Luna asked in a worried voice

"Princesses, there was a note on the main gate addressed to you!!" Cried out a guard.

"here you are your majesty" The guard said while giving the note to Celestia.

"Thank you my little pony" Replied Celestia as she took the note

it read:

Dear Celestia and Luna,

I hope it doesn't bother you much but I took you precious little chest in trade for a hat but I needed something beautiful for my rapidly growing garden in the Everfree thak you.

                    Your always favorite Draconequus,

                                        Discord

"Look at this!!!" Luna yelled as she took the note.

"He doesn't even spell Thank you correctly!!"

"Luna!! Discord stole the cest and you are worried about his grammar?!" Yelled Celestia.

"So what if I am, now lets go beat the living dragon out of him!!!" Luna roared at Celestia.

"Okay" said Celestia as she shruged her shoulders.

And they flew off to find that damned Draconequus.
