I walked past the guards, and made my way throughout the seemingly endless halls of Canterlot Castle to Luna's room. I knocked on the door, Luna greeted me with a smile and welcomed me in.
"So, how are you enjoying yourself? Do you like your home?" Luna asked, still smiling. She thought I didn't know... yet...
"Very much, it's very nice. I get plenty of peace and quiet, along with the... soothing sound of waves upon the cliffside." I looked at Luna, who was looking down, somewhat guilty. I felt like I had hurt her.
"No no, it's fine! I find that relaxing! Really! I do!" I said, faking a smile.
"I... need to tell you something. It's important." Luna said, she motioned over to the couch... my old fold out bed. I cringed slightly at the sight of it.
"I'd... rather stand." I said. Luna lifted up a hoof,
"No, sit. You may be surprised. It's nothing bad..."
"Fine." I said, I sat down next to Luna.
"So... I w-"
"I heard you last night... I came looking for you... to say I'm sorry, and I overheard you and Frederic." I looked off to the side. My body began to shake.
"You... seem mad." Luna said, she put her hoof on my shoulder, I shrugged it off.
"No, I'm very happy. I know you and Fred will... get along great." I began to shake harder, my hooves felt numb as I put so much pressure, trying to get rid of my anger and strong jelousy.
"Ryan?" Luna said, trying to get a look at me.
"I SAID I'M FINE!" I boomed, I lept off the coach, and slammed the door shut behind me. I was furious, Luna was mine! At least, that's what I wanted! I heard the door open behind me, I turned around and saw Luna standing behind me, looking worried.
"If you need somepony to talk to..." Luna began, I felt like I was going to break.
"I'm... fine..." I hissed, still looking down. I began to feel like something else was controlling me.
"Please... I can h-"
I ran up to Luna and smacked her across the face. I looked at what I had done... my hoof connected with her bottom jaw, causing it to bleed. Luna mearly looked at me and smiled weakly. I felt terrible...
"If you need a punching bag... feel free." Luna said, still holding her weak smile, she wiped the blood off her mouth.
"DON'T YOU SEE? I WILL NOT..." I stopped, I turned around and stormed off. I felt like nothing. I was nothing... I got an idea... I will put my plan into action... I will... kill Frederic... but I won't be the one to do it... I ran to my house, and into the kitchen.
I grabbed the knife on the kitchen counter and plunged it into my chest, it sliced through my heart, and I blacked out.
