Chapter 7: Chrest

Even though I'm just glad that I'm back where I belong, and in the arms of my special somepony, I'm still wondering…How did we get teleported? Why did Jest and I have super powers as we fought in Equestria? I'm a curious person, so I'm going to ask somepony about it. Obviously, the pony I am talking about is Twilight. She's the smartest, and maybe she knows something about humans in Equestria…

Even Applejack got curious, after she stopped crying a minute ago. Still in my hooves,

she looks at me, with an asking face and asks me while opening her eyes a little: "Honey…You don't know what happened there, do you?"

I knew that she would ask this sometime. Since I don't, I tell her with a disappointed face: "Sorry, I don't. I do, however, know that in my world I look exactly the same as I did as Jest transformed me…But I don't have this super powers as I'm in the real world.

So…Why here? And he gave me this strange, grey sword back then, it seemed like he kept it for me…Maybe Twilight Sparkle knows something about all of these crazy happenings.

"If anypony knows something about this, then it's for sure that this pony's name is Twilight! Let's ask her, maybe we get some information."

I better get Jest with me as well; he doesn't seem to remember anything about this fight nor the fact how humans work in Equestria.

We leave the barn, wave goodbye to Big Mac who happened to walk towards us, and seemed to be a little confused by the fact that I'm back.

"You're back?" He asks me with big eyes and a very confused face.

"Eh, I will explain this to you later. We have to do something first." I answer and we go on.

"I accidentally brought somepony with me. We have to find him as well; he is involved in all of this just as I am." I tell to Applejack as we walk away from the barn.

"Huh? Who do you mean?" She asks as she looks at me.

"Well…Jest."

"You mean the guy with the scent that wanted to kill you?"

"Ehm…Yes. In the human world, we are best friends and he is actually the one that brought me here. I owe him a lot, and the least I can give him is knowledge. He doesn't seem to remember anything about the fight."

Since he loves Pinkie Pie, he should be somewhere around her place. And I am right; we see him through a window of the cake shop, baking cupcakes with pinkie.

Haha, I knew it. He still sucks at baking as a pony, just as he did as we tried to bake pizza on our own.

By the way…He owes me a pizza.

"So…He probably got manipulated by Discords magic, and now thanks to the elements of Harmony, he is back to normal?" Applejack interrupts my banal thoughts.

"Exactly! So let's fetch him, and get going to Twilight."

We knock on the door, and see Pinkie pie jumping over to it, as we look through the window.

"Oh, hi Applejack and OH MY GOSH! Honey sapple, you are back! Applejack told me how you two kissed and loved each other and then you ran away in the fight because you were too weak to fight on, and that Jest guy ran away as well…Or something like that!

Why are you back? And where were you running at?"

…Running…Away…? I got teleport – Whatever…I'll explain it to her later.

"Eh…I'll explain this later. Could I talk to Jest for a second?" I ask while a little in hurry.

"Sure, he's over there decorating the cupcakes." Pinkie said, while looking happily at me, as usual.

I go over to him, while Applejack discusses something with Pinkie Pie. Well, they are girls after all, so they'll chat and talk about stuff.

"I always told you, you fail at baking!" I yell at Jest, as he tries to decorate the cupcakes in Pink-red colors, but fails horribly. It was supposed to have a Pinkie face on it, now it looks like some kind of horrible, poorly drawn cupcakes-reference, which could give me nightmares.

"See if I care, douche bag. I'm still better at baking than you are!" He replied with an angry face, and some sweat drops off his forehead. He seems slightly upset, because it didn't turn out as he wanted.

"Well, I never said that I'm better at this. But to get to the point; you don't remember any of the fighting or time spent here, so I'll recap this for you…"

I take in a veeeeery deep breath and start talking at an insane speed:

"We both fell into this hole, I woke up in a hospital, got picked up by Applejack, she got me a home, a job and with her company of the whole apple family some very good friends and a family that actually cares about me. After some time, Applejack and I got together, but then you came and were all like 'I'm the boss, fear me', afterwards we had an awesomely epic fight as you turned me back to human and you hurled lightning bolts of pure chaos at me with your scent called 'Arturo durazo' which somehow sounds like a Mexican guy, who wears sunglasses. After that we woke up and well, that's how you got your memory back."

He now looks at me, with his jaw almost dropped of his head and seems to be kind of unsure what to say.

After almost half a minute, he gathered himself up and started to ask: "Are…You alright? That sounded like a big pile of…Stuff."

So…After half an hour of Q&A we got to the point; so I told AJ and Pinkie that we have to leave now, but she wanted to come with us. "The cupcakes can be cupcake'd when we come back!" She said.

Now we're standing in front of her house, and are getting going.

As soon as we start, I got to think: How did Jest make friends with Pinkie Pie so fast? But then I remembered; it's Pinkie Pie.

On our way, we see some other ponies: Bon Bon is walking around and greets us, lifting one eyebrow up: "Hi there, so…When did you come back Honey sapple? And who is this colt next to you?"

"I'm Chr – Jest." He quickly corrects himself, getting a little sweaty.

"Chrest?" Bon Bon asks, as she raises the other eyebrow and puts down the left one.

"No, it's Jest. My name is Jest. I'm new to Ponyville, nice to meet you."

He tells her, with a very obvious false grin.

He sucks at baking and lying. So nothing new since the pony transform.

"Eh…Alright. Nice to meet you too then, Jest. I better get going, see you all later!"

She bids us goodbye, and gets going.

"Quick thinking, Jest. You better don't tell anyone aside the Mane 6 who you really are." I whisper to him, so nopony hears us.

As we go along, Jest notices the Quills and Sofas shop, and history repeats itself in another pony: "Why the hell is here a shop for sofas…And quills? Isn't that combination a little odd?" He asks around.

"Well duh, if Twilight isn't around, the owner has to make money somehow!" Pinkie pie yells, as she makes a sarcastic face.

"Hehe, ok if you say so." Jest replies while giggling a little, and we go on once again.

Shortly after, we arrive at Twilight's tree. Jest knocks on the door with his right hoof, as Twilight has already opened it.

"Hi guys, I already saw you as I looked outside at the beautiful weather and…Honey sap? Didn't you get carried away somehow, during the clash with this Jest guy? And who is the Pony next to you? He seems…Familiar."

I reply with confidence, but yet I'm full of thoughts and theories

"Ehm…Yeah. I actually was only gone for 1 day, but the spell in the elements somehow got me away longer than I thought. And this pony next to me is actually Jest."

I suddenly looked at Twilights horn, as it began to glow, and she began to frown.

"Pleasure to meet you twi-" He got interrupted by her charging a magical purple bolt at him. He flew around 20 inches away, but still seemed ok. Furthermore, Twilight jumped onto him and yelled:

"You crazy…Something! Any last words, before I pulverize you with a spell ten times stronger than the one I used before?"

Well…I should've expected such a reaction.

"Twilight, it's fine. He has come back to normal by the power of the Elements."

"Oh. My bad." She grins in a very sorry and sarcastic manner, blushes and moves away from him.

"Let's get inside, and I tell you what happened and why we're here in the first place." I reply, as I point towards her tree house. Next Chapter: Flaws Estimated time remaining: 22 Minutes
