Location: Canterlot Castle, Throne Room

Princess Celestia is having, what you may call, a nice day. A month after twilight's coronation, they have been talking about the principals of magic. All-in-all, everything is perfect. Well, except that a week ago, twilight has been experiencing nightmares... Nightmares that trouble even her. Luna can't seem to dream walk in it. Which is weird. Luna's special talent is, not only raising the moon, dream walking and getting rid of nightmares as well. But that anomaly wasn't  what bothered her. It was the pony in her dreams that bother her. A gray pony with the form of a shadow. It reminded her about... HIM. She shuddered at the thought of him. 'If she had experienced those nightmares, then--'.

"Sister! Thou must come this way!" Her thoughts were interrupted by a familiar voice that rang really really loud in her ears.

"What is it, sister?" Celestia asked. She turned her head to see her sister rushing towards her.

"We must make haste! A thief has snuck in the artifacts room!" Her sister shouted... Typical royal canterlot voice.

A thief? In here? Unbelievable. Canterlot hasn't had a thief  in a solid century. She should know. She lived longer than a century.

But sometimes, things can get boring around here. So... She'll at least see this... thief.

"Alright, sister. I'll be on my way shortly." She said

Her sister nodded and disappeared in a bright white flash.

'Things seem to have gotten more interesting, it seems?' She thought

'Things have certainly gone horribly wrong!'

I was running for my dear life across the hallways while being chased by guards.

"Stop right there!" Like hell i will!

Can't these idiots tell that I'm one of them?! Well, i did stole a bag(saddlebag?). But i don't see anything fancy about it. Unless it's... magic?

"Hey! I'm on your side!" I desperately shouted hoping it would slow them down

Oh how wrong i was...

"Lier! Catch him!" Oh come on!

I hate these hallways! Where's the garden?! I--

*WHAM* OWWW!!!!

I rubbed my head and saw swordege doing the same.

"sir? What are you--"

"No time! Sorrygottago!" I said quickly

"What was that about?

"Stop, Thief!" GRRR!!! I hate these equines!! Hmmm... should i call them ponies? Yes... very fitting...

I was running so fast, my brain was doing things i don't even know! I felt and heard flapping coming from my sides. I took a quick glance and saw my wings are flapping as fast as they can. And then.... I'm off the ground?! This defies all known laws of flying for me! Though i suppose i could throw logic out the window for this world...

"W-woah! I'm flying?! Yes! I'm flying!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

Oh this feels so good! I feel like singing... except that i don't have time to sing.

More guards began to chase me. Great. I have to outrun them, somehow. Hmmmm... I remember that there was a split in these hallways. If i could lose them there... I should have enough time to formulate a plan to escape. But i must be quick. Flapping my wings harder, i gain enough speed enough to gain distance away from the guards. I smirked.

I see the split! Now the hard part comes...

(Switching to third pov)

The guards nearly lost the pony. Fortunately, they know this castle inside and out. There's no way for the thief to escape!

"I see him! He headed the left way!"

"Perfect! Alright stallions, do not stop until the thief is apprehended! Understood?!"

"Yes sir!"

The guards ran towards the left way, hoping to capture the thief. But if they look very closely, they could have seen the "thief" silently sticking to the ceiling and going to the right side of the splits.

"That was easier than trying to keep quiet." He said while smiling to himself

(Now back to john's pov)

That was too easy that i almost feel guilty. Almost.

My plan was simple really. All i had to do was go to the left and hide in the shadows. Man, these ponies are stupid. How hard is it to spot a pony who is sticking to the ceiling in golden armor? But i shouldn't waste the opportunity. Time is of the essence.

'The garden entrance must be around here!' I thought

Hmmm... I need to--

*WHAM*

Oh come on! What is up with me and bumping into ponies today?!

"I'm very sorry, sir! My mind was somewhere else!" I said to whoever i bumped into

"You should be, you uncouth dolt!" Who said that?!

"I should have you punished and thrown in the dungeon for ever bumping in royalty!"

Royalty? More like a royal prick, that is. Nonetheless i tried to reason with this... Pony.

"Please forgive me sir! I was being rushed by an order of the monarch! A thief has snuck inside the castle!" I said. Hopefully, my lying skills are still sharp. Though i suppose that is half the truth.

He seemed to consider my words but my pleas seem to fell on deaf ears.

"Normally i would march up to my auntie and demand her to put you in the dungeons. But... I'm feeling rather gracious today and concerned of the situation at hoof so i will let this folly slide for once." He said

Phew...

"Thank you, sir. I promise it won't happen again!" Of that, i am very sure... Lucky me.

"Please... Blueblood will be fine. I'm feeling rather under the weather, as the commoners say." He said. Huh?

I nodded and trotted away. As did he. When i have gotten enough distance from him i sighed in relief

'Blueblood huh? Fitting for a noble. Weird how he is not gloating about his fame. Not my business, though.' I thought

Minutes passed by and i am very surprised at the fact i had not encountered any guards yet. I see the garden through the window though. The silence of the castle is quite soothing to me. I wish collage was like this... I miss my---

"There you are, thief!"

I sighed. Really? Just when i was reminiscing on the past? I flapped my wings again and took off. This feeling is actually quite invigorating. Like being free. Not now actually.

My escape is nearly complete. Just have to find the garden's entrance...

There!!

I flew out of the entrance and my sight was greeted by the lush green garden. I smirked at the sight. Hopefully, i wont--

(Bump)

Hmmm?

"Well now. What do we have here?" What the?! I recognize that voice... Th--

"Well, you've certainly been practicing on your monologue." He said

Thank you. I-- wait what? I'm not... How did you...

"Red your monologue? Simple. Chaos!" That jolly old man's voice said.

Hey, i can hear you you know?

Shu-- just stay out of my thoughts.

Alright

"What do you want, discord? Can't you see I'm running for my life? Or are you just blind, you mismatch?" I said

He looked offended.

"My word! Such language!" He said.

He snapped his claws and... A zipper zipped my mouth?

"Mmmphhh!!!" I muffled

"Better. Now why would a guard would run?" He asked

"Stop that thief!"

"Mpphh...(that)" i muffled.

"Well now. Run along then." He said and with a snap of his claws, the zipper disappeared from my mouth.

I ran past discord. Luckily, i escaped before the guards do.

"Why did you let him escape?!"

"I thought you'll handle it. You all are guards of the princess, yes?" I heard groaning after that sentence

Discord... You are a life saver.

I ran inside the garden and tried to find my statue. Which is very hard considering on how big this... Maze is.

I need to get away from them! How hard is it to find a--- there it is! Quickly! I need to---!

"Halt! Cease thy running!"

Oh come on!

I looked behind me and saw... A horse? No, a pony with both wings and a horn. Dark blue fur... Royal looking... Almost dark blue eyes... With a mane that consist of stars... Someone's really a fan of the night. Guess i shouldn't judge someone by his/her looks.

"And what if i don't?"i asked getting bored.

"Then thou shalt face face our wrath!" Our wrath? Really?

Her eyes glowed and she pointed her horn at me...

She, then, fired a bolt of lightning?!

"Eep!"

I dodged out of the way before it hit me. Man, that was extreme. Wait... If i could get her to hit the statue, she'll weaken it! Then i could escape! But that doesn't mean i can have a little fun...

I flew myself and tried to do a little taunting. She threw another bolt at me and i tried doing air manuever. I got scared so bad that i had the most stupidest idea ever made by man. I found a cloud and tried to hide behind it. Surprisingly, my hooves seem to have "touched" the cloud's surface... Wow...

I need to have her hit the statue. So... The best way is taunting.

"What's the matter sweet flicks? Too fast for you to hit?" I taunted. This may not be the best choice of words, coming from the guy who is hiding behind a cloud.

She looked angry. Good. I need to get her to hit the statue. She fired another bolt at me. This time bigger.

I barely dodged it and from out of fear, I slammed my hooves to the cloud and..

*KRAKOOM!!*

...Holy cow! I fired a freaking lightning bolt from this cloud?! Awesome! She barely dodged the lightning bolt. Probably because of the surprise

I smiled like a maniac and stomped at the cloud repeatedly.

*Boom* *Bang* *Krakoom* *Bam*

She kept dodging my bolts. Stand still! Oh well, more important business anyway.

"Ahahahahahaha! Dance little pony! What's the matter?! Oh sorry, didn't mean to try and hit ya, No wait! I do, ha!" I taunted

She seems getting really annoyed. Her eyes glow brightly again and blast some sort of beam to me. Well, specifically, to the cloud I'm standing on.I yelped in surprise before my face hit the ground, face first.

I groaned and tried standing up. My legs are wobbly. Crap...

She's starting another beam again. Only this time, It's getting bigger.... Double Crap!

"Face our wrath!" That wasn't your wrath before?!

I need to get out of this body!

*PEW*

Too late. The beam was shot. But luckily, I ducked and the beam hit the statue. I looked at while grinning anddddd....

*crack*.... Really?

She's still going to fire?!

"Pleas don't kill me!" I begged her but my pleas fell on deaf ears. Again...

"Luna! Stop this at once!"

"Luna" lowered her horn and looked behind her. So did i.

I caught sight of... another pony hybrid.

This time, She,i think, had a flowing rainbow for mane?! This is impossible!... Don't tell me it's magic!

"But Tia! He--" Luna was cut off by her... sister.

"Luna, please. You've already caused both enough damage and scared that stallion out of his light." "Tia" said

She's right. I'm literally shaking now.

I need a way out. My body is wanting me back. I walked back a few steps toward the statue and--

"Please forgive my sister. She--- Wait..." Tia said and began scanning me.

"Why have you not told me that he was wearing a royal guard armour?!" Tia shouted looking back at the guards.

The pony guards seem to shuffle and look nervously. This is the royal guards? I bet it'll only take a normal thief to get past these guys. Pathetic.

"Errr.... Must've slipped our minds, Princess Celestia." really?

"State your name and your rank, guard." Celestia said.

Yeeesh.... It's like staring at the sun while being scolded by your mother.

"....." Need a plan. Fortunately, my body is calling my soul back.

"Sorry, princess. But I have to go." I said

They looked confused of what i said. Hehehe.

My soul was immediately transported back to my body and.... back into my vision.

My prison is weakened. Perfect.

Crack

"No...."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

CRRRR...

The cracks spread across my body as it was filled with a dark aura that has signified my release. Yes!

"AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm Free, motherfuckers!!!!"

....Holy whatever-god/goddess-in-this-world!!! I can talk freely now!!!

The princesse's eyes shrank to the size of toothpicks and gasped.

Finally....

BOOM!!!!!!

Finally I'm out of that---

*CRACK*

"EYOOOW!!!!!" What the?!

The first time i get out and i was welcomed by a world of hurt?! It feels like every bone in my body is stiff!

This is embarrassing...

*CRACK

Goes my limbs

*CRACK*

Goes my neck

"CRRRRAAAACK*

Goes, oh god, my spine.

I twist and turn and wiggle to get te pain off. Unfortunately, the ponies around seem to give me strange looks. Especially the taller ones, they stared at me like i grew a second head.

I groaned as the pain racked my body. I straightened my back for the last time and... YES!!!

I sighed in relief as every bone in my body comes back to place and unstiffens.

"Ahhhhh..." I smiled in relief

Hm? Oh, the ponies are still staring.

"What are you looking at?! Never seen a pony burst out of a statue and and crack his bones?!" I shouted at them.

One was about to answer but i cut him off by saying:

"That was a rhetorical question" He closed his mouth

"Who are you?" Me?

"I'm...."

What should i do?! If i tell them I'm  blackhearth then I might get arrested!

I opened my mouth to speak but Luna beat me to it.

"Wer know who art are. Thou art blackhearth, yes?" She said looking ready to pounce me.

She speaks like a medieval princess from a fairy tale drama book. But the others speak modern English.

'They are our enemies... Make them suffer...' Who said that?

Oh no wait, that was the other me. You know, like another thought of me. But he seems mindful. Like he is actually there...

"Yessss... Kill them all....' Right, like i can take ALL of them on.

Shut up dark side.

I haven't noticed but i seem to take this predicament very well. But my status is the least of my concerns. All sides look ready to take me on. The bag i need is right next to me. What to do? Hmmm... I got it!!!

"I... come in peace?" I stated with the most stupidest smile on my face.

And boy, did i look stupid. Nothing could go wrong!

Right?

*CLANG!*

"Ooof!!"

"Get in there, dark lord!"

I was wrong! Everything went completely wrong! Wrong, Wrong, WRONG!!!

"I'll get you for this! Mark my dark stained heart!" I shouted in anger.

"What do you think the princess will do to him?"

"I don't know but she looks really mad. I'd hate to be him when they decide."

I hate those ponies! First discord, then these ponies, then The princess! I'm going to---

You know what? I'm taking a breat---. Oh who am i kidding?! I just got thrown in jail for no reason! I can't calm down!

'Kill them... Show no mercy... Show them what happens to those who wrong us...' Shut up!! Grrrrr!!!!

To hell with these ponies! I screamed in anger and used my strength to ream the bars. No dice. All it did was hurt my hooves.

I need a plan. But it won't be easy. Hmmmmm....

Meanwhile at the throne room.

"What should we do?!" Princess Celestia was panicking

Luna simply rolled her eyes at her sister.They had the guards throw him in the dungeons so that he won't do any damage. But even then, her sister is still acting like It's the apocalypse.

"Sister, Thou must stop this act. Tis very irritating. BlackHearth has been safely secured in the dungeons. Of which we admit, besides a few screams and struggling, it went rather peacefully than we imagined." Luna said

"That's just it! It was too easy! You know him! Always one step ahead and both crafty and resourceful as King Sombra!" Celestia shouted

Luna face hoofed. Though she couldn't deny it, They captured blackhearth seemingly too easy. BlackHearth, as she remembered, is the next most smartest enemy they ever faced, besides King Sombra. And she could never forgot... She shuddered, The war. She grimaced at the thought. Not even Nightmare Moon was that cruel. They were only able to defeat King Sombra by surprise, Though they had trouble with him at first. But to face somepony, whose power was almost equivalent to the shadow king, fully prepared and dangerous as his master. It was like as hard as trying to make sense of discord. Maybe even harder. BlackHearth was powerful, crafty and intelligent. A dangerous combo indeed.

The war devastated equestria. They stood no chance against blackhearth and his army. It was only by luck that they so happened to steal one of King Sombra's favorite artifacts, The soul jar. With it, they were able to trap BlackHearth's soul and turn him into stone, hoping he will remain buried. How he was immune to the elements was a mystery even to discord. They thought blackhearth and the war was nothing more but a mere memory now. But today just proved them wrong. BlackHearth is back. But, of course, even discord needs to regenerate his powers when he broke free from the element's prison, due to being trapped for thousands of years. So they still have a chance to take down blackhearth. And as Nightmare moon used to whisper in her ear:

"Every chance comes with a price. So make it count!"

Ironic how the advices of that demon could become useful today. She had an idea  but she doesn't think her sister will approve i too quickly.

"What of twilight and her friends? Surely with the elements, They can vanquish blackhearth back to stone. As we did before, While he is still recovering." Luna stated.

Her sister looked baffled. Totally expected.

Now Luna may sound like she was asking too much. But in truth? She's just doing what is needed. Her sister's subjects are her subjects too. She will do anything to protect them.

"Sister... I can't ask twilight and her friends to put their lives at stake. Twilight only had took a break five days ago. I can't just take her time away from her friends." Celestia said.

Luna sighed. This was going to be a long day.

"We must, dear sister. BlackHearth may still be recovering his magic reserves. It would be fine if we are still connected to the elements and not have to rely on twilight and her friends. But alas we are not anymore. For the safety of our subjects, we must do what must be done." Luna said with a stern look on her face.

Celestia was surprised. She really didn't want to do this but Luna is right. For her subjects. She sighed and said: "Alright. I'll go make a letter for her."

She didn't want this. But it must be done. She really didn't want to repeat the damage HE caused.

Meanwhile... At the dungeons...

The royal day guards have been replaced by Luna's night guards. They are now currently guarding the prison doors of the most hated, forgotten and villainous pony that has ever existed. BlackHearth. The bane of equestria. The shadow prince.

Unbeknownst to the guards, Green glowing eyes, emitting a familiar purple smoke from the corner of it's eyes, glowed brightly. A sinister smile followed it. And a single yet terrifying sentence was spoken by the silhouette.

"Soon Equestria... Soon... Hehehehehe... Hahahahahaha!!!!"
