And here I am, sitting on a cliff. My backpack laid down next to me, my granola bar sitting lazily in my hand. I stared out at Ponyville as I chewed. I had to wonder why my backpack grew with me. I wasn't about to question it though, without it I might have starved.

I kicked my granola laden bag as I relaxed on the mountain. "See Bon Bon I told you Twilight was hiding one!" Two of the local ponies started trotting over. "What I want to know is how she hid him this long!"

"I don't think he was always that big Lyra...I saw him before and he was pony sized."

"Whaaat!? Why didn't you bring me?"

The ponies continued to talk while I simply sat and chewed my makeshift lunch. I decided to pick them up, mindlessly pawing at the until I grabbed one. "Lyra, Lyra, Lyra! Help!" The pony started trying to sprint, managing to gain zero traction as I hovered her in front of my face.

Lyra kept bouncing around my shoe as I picked up the cream mare. "Bon Bon, it's happening, you've been chosen!"

The mare continued to gallop in my hands. "I don't want to be chosen!" I pulled the mare to my eye and looked at her. She was a bit terrified as her limbs went limp. "Oh Celestia...."

"Hi." I said calmly.

The mare prepared for a hit, ducking down and waiting. She eventually popped one eye open and stared at me. "Oh...hi." she pulled herself onto my palm and looked off the edge. "Whoa-" she clambered back and into my fingers. "Can you...I don't know...put me down?"

I set the swirl maned pony in my lap and pet her as I ate my cheap energy bar. The mare quickly melted under my touch, following my fingers as they traced away along her coat. "Man...the granola tastes like crap." I ate as much as I could and set the rest on the mountain. "Something will eat that right?" I asked the mare as she enjoyed my hands.

"Left...left....wait huh?" The mare looked back up at me. "Eat what?"

I shook my head and cradled the mare, petting her was helping to make me feel a little better about being too big to live in town. "Nothing-"

"Hey, me too! Come on human let me love you!" Lyra was jumping up and down my my shoe. I reached down and plopped her down on my lap. "Yes, now love me!"

My hand jerked back at the mare's fervor. I slowly brought it back down, the mare quickly latched on and tucked her hooves around my hand. I scratched her back with my nails, digging in ever so slightly and making her moan as she peeled off my hand and laid on her back.

"Ah-aa-aa-aa-aaa yeaaaah." She twitched weakly as I rubbed my thumb along her belly.

"Hey...a little attention won't hurt." Bon Bon quickly poked at my hand. I brought the two mares side by side and pet them like a bundle of soft flesh and warm hair.

"Huh...guess this is my life now." I laughed to myself. "Could be worse."

The mares weren't paying attention. They were too busy losing themselves as I rubbed their bodies. They reminded me of dogs, certainly about the same size as a pug. I stopped suddenly, to the slight dismay of the mares. Lyra quickly tried to levitate my hand back. "I was using that you jerk!"

I let her have my hand, she quickly started schmoozing it and rolling around on my fingers. The other rolled onto her hooves and watched Lyra loose her composure as she rolled happily along my palm. "Lyra really?"

"Yes really, really, really, really!"

Bon Bon quickly bopped herself with her hoof and shook her head. "Idiot." she turned to me, quickly smiling. "So I never asked your name...do you know us?"

I rubbed my head with my free hand. "Yeah, you make candy and she...I'm not sure what she does." I scratched under Bon Bon's chin. "I'm Daniel."

She let out a satisfied sigh as I ceased my scratching. "Daniel, alright. So what happened to you? You were pony sized before."

I shrugged, Lyra going along for the ride as my hand jerked up. "No- whoops...sorry." I set Lyra on my shoulder. "No idea what happened. I woke up half in and half out of the library. Twilight was freaking out, spike was freaking out, Rainbow Dash got mad at me-"

"Why?"

"No idea...Pink said she had a crush on me, but I think it was because I nearly knocked her out of the sky on accident." I smirked at the memory. As clashing as her personality was it had a certain charm to it.

Bon Bon made a rude gesture, pointing her hoof into her mouth and making a gagging noise. "You like Rainbow Dash?!"

I picked her up in a huff and put her along with Lyra on my shoulder. "She was alright...never gonna happen now though." I stood up carefully. "Alright hold on, heading back to town."

I started walking back towards town, the ponies on my shoulders started yelling back and forth as I hurried towards town. "Bon bon!"

"What!?"

"This is awesome!"

"You know I can hear you both right?"

"Good, still awesome!" Lyra shouted into my ear with reckless abandon. I rubbed my ear and tried to focus on my running. I needed to find Twilight before I stepped on somepony.
