The next day Twilight woke up in a new room. Rarity's bed was no longer in her room. Twilight ran to Rarity's door and sang "Do you wanna build a snowman? Come on let's go and play. I never see you anymore, come out the door it's like you've gone away." Twilight went in her room and grabbed stuffed plushies of Rarity and herself. "we used to be best buddies, and now we're not. I wish you would tell me why!  Do you wanna build a snowman, it doesn't have to be a snowman." "Go away Twilight!" Rarity said. "Okay bye." Twilight said moping to her room. 5 years had passed and Twilight was now 9 years old. She ran up to Rarity's door again and sang. "Do you wanna build a snowman? Or ride our bikes around the halls. I think think some company is overdue, I've started talkin' to the pictures on the walls. Hang in there Doo." She said pointing at a picture of Daring Doo.  In Rarity's room half of it was frozen. Crystals and snowflakes appeared.  "It's getting stronger!" Rarity said looking at her hooves. "If you complain it'll just get worst." the king said about to touch Rarity. "No! Don't touch me! I don't wanna hurt you." Rarity said backing up from her parents.  "Here. I have something  for you." The king said holding a purple box. "Here. These rings will protect you're power." he said.  The rings had a strange blue glow around them which meant they were a form of magic. "OK thanks dad." Rarity said.  5 more years passed and Twilight was 14. She was about to knock on Rarity's door but she just ran down the halls.  Rarity, Twilight, The queen and king gathered in the main ballroom. "Now, You're mother and I will be going on a two week vacation. Now Rarity, you'll be in charge of the kingdom while we're gone." the king said. "B-But I-" Rarity said. "Don't worry you'll be fine." The king and queen hugged their two children and galloped off to the ship they were taking.  After 3 hours of riding, a huge storm blew in causing the ship to sink along with the many ponies aboard.  As the news spread to the kingdom Twilight and Rarity's hearts were broken.  A couple days later a funeral was held for the princess's loss.  Unfortunately  Rarity did not show up to the funeral to follow her father's rule.  Twilight walked back to Rarity's door and knocked. "Rarity, please I know you're in there, ponies are asking where you've been.  They say have courage and I'm trying to, I'm right out here for just let me in. We only have each other it's just you and me, what are we gonna do?" she said. "Do you wanna build a snowman?" Twilight said holding back a lump of sadness in her throat.  Rarity was going to respond, but she just sat in her completely frozen room sighing.
