It was about 3:00 AM when Fluttershy heard a noise from downstairs. It was the slightest *creak* of a wooden floorboard but she was a very light sleeper. She was scared but sheepishly flew downstairs. She stopped halfway when she saw something. There was a dark figure at the door, clearly a stallion from his size and shape. He was turned around shutting the door silently behind him.

After the door was shut he turned around and slowly walked towards the stairs. Fluttershy was still there trembling in fear when the stallion walked into a beam of moonlight. Suddenly her heart exploded, twice, once with relief and another with joy. It was Big Mac!

He had been out of town helping Braeburn on his orchard in Appleoosa. He had only been gone for about a week but Fluttershy missed him like he’d been gone for ages. She bolted down the stairs and tackled Big Mac to the floor with a hug, she wouldn’t be able to do this normally but he was on the tips of his hooves trying not to make much noise.

They crashed to the floor instantly waking up all the little creatures in the house. Angel bunny hopped towards the door and flicked on the lights. All the animals saw Big Mac and instantly piled onto him with hugs. You see Big Mac and Fluttershy have been dating for some time, secretly of course, and all of the animals grew to love him just like they loved Fluttershy.

Fluttershy giggled as the animals joined her and Big Mac in a group hug. Once she could get up she put them all beck to bed, shut off the light and led Big Mac into the kitchen.

“Are you hungry, Big Mac?” Fluttershy asked as she turned on the kitchen light.

“Nnnope. Braeburn packed me some apples for the ride,” Big Mac said, “but Ah am thirsty. Do we have any cider left?”

“Eeyup.” Fluttershy said, imitating Big Mac, “I made sure there would be some ready for you when you got back.”

Big Mac gave her a kiss on the cheek as she handed him a mug of cider.

“Thanks.” Big Mac said as he took a sip of the cool refreshing Sweet Apple Acres cider. “So, what were ya doin’ up when Ah got home?”

“Ohh I just heard the floorboards creak and got scared.” Said Fluttershy softly.

“Well ya don’t have to be scared no more ‘cause Ah’m here now.” Big Mac said as he took another sip of cider.
