Naga rolled over in bed to face his mare, what he found was a hoof aimed directly at his face as she rolled over. *fwup* Her hoof hit the pillow as he phased through it, nearly having a heart attack simultaneously. He groaned and rose from the pillow knowing that today the six month pregnant Twilight would have yet another of her famous cravings. The other day it had been pickles and turnips, and when he got back she had thrown a book at his head demanding what took him so long, she then began to sob uncontrollably and he had comforted her, only to receive a hoof to the gut for his troubles.

She of course apologized later, recognizing the hormones affects on her after her rage had subsided. Unfortunately that had been after she magically threw half the library at him. He rose with a groan rubbing his sensitive arms where he had blocked a good portion of the books. He gently roused Twilight and asked her what she wanted for breakfast knowing it would be something ridiculous. "Pumpkins, I want a pumpkin and an orange if it's not to much to ask." she said. He rolled his eyes and chucked saying "I'm on it sweet heart."

He made his way downstairs to be knocked on his ass by Dark Lightning who burst through the door saying "Dude you gotta help me Dash is on another craving and I have no idea where to get a pumpkins and oranges!" Teleporting out from beneath the frantic pegasus he said "strange Twilight asked me for the exact same thing." Dark looked hopefully up at him and said "so you'll help me?" Naga nodded and said "yes, after coffee. Want some?" Dark nodded thankfully following Naga into the kitchen saying "yes please! Dash threw it at me the last week and I haven't had a decent cup since."

Naga laughed, "lucky, Twilight threw the washing machine at me last week." Dark looked at him confused and Naga tapped his horn with a hoof. "Derp."Dark said facehoofing. They both drank a few cups, Dark had four knowing he may not get another chance for a while, and left to see where in Equestria they could find pumpkins and oranges. "Dude cant you just magic up some?" Dark asked as they walked through the market. "Yes but Twilight can tell the difference from magic and fresh now. Don't ask me how, she never could before." Naga responded.

Not wanting to risk Dash being able to tell the difference Dark continued searching for the elusive pumpkin and orange stand. Eventually the ran across a familiar blue police box, "hea if it's not pumpkin/orange season now why don't we have the Dr. take us to a time when they are." Dark said. "Sure! But may I ask why?" a brown stallion asked from behind them. "Hello Doctor, we kind of have to get pumpkins and oranges for our mares cravings." Naga said turning around to face the brown pony wearing a trench coat. "Well than, alon-ze!"

The T.A.R.D.I.S. sprang to life at the Dr.'s hoof tips as he eccentrically ran around pulling leavers and pressing buttons in a sort of mad dance. After a few minutes the T.A.R.D.I.S. landed with the familiar *dong* and the stepped out. They were not expecting what they saw, a host of metallic things rolled around in specific formations down thee corridor they were in. One of them spotted them and in a shrill electronic voice said "T.A.R.D.I.S. DETECTED, EXTERMINATE!!!" Naga unleashed a torrent of shadows as Dark Lightning unleashed a flurry of electric spheres that detonated upon impact. There attacks were shrugged off by a shield of energy coating the metallic things.

"Fuck what do we do now!" Dark said as he dogged a hailstorm of laser blasts from the creatures. "Well I can try something but i need time, can you draw there attention?" Naga said as he wove intricate runes to deflect the blasts coming at him. "Got ya," Dark said and dashed forward flying in random patterns to scramble there targeting sensors. Naga took a deep breath and let the magic that was protecting him go and focused. A large circular rune with his cutie mark at the center appeared in front of him. He built the energy already feeling the toll on his body from the strain. "GET BACK!" Naga shouted as he released the spell. Dark made it behind the rune just before it unleashed an enormous blast of black energy annihilating all of the creatures in the hall.

The Dr. steeped out of the T.A.R.D.I.S. chewing holding a bag of sweets in his hoof. "Jelly Baby?" he asked. A few minutes later the Dr. explained that they were on an alien planet of produce and the things they had destroyed were Dalecs."What there doing here I have no idea." the time lord said. "Well lets get the produce and get OUT!" Dark said. "For once I agree with you Dark, get the food and split." the Doctor said, "you two go get the pumpkins and such I'll meet you back at the T.A.R.D.I.S. in five minutes." They all nodded and ran off in the direction that the vegetables should be according to the Doctor.

Naga used an invisibility spell and they flew to eliminate noise as Naga was not sure he could pull off another stunt like before. They dogged around three more Dalecs before coming across there prize, a cart loaded to the top with oranges and pumpkins. They grabbed two pumpkins and as many oranges as they could and hurried back to the T.A.R.D.I.S. saddle bags full. They saw the Dr. talking off a pair of Dalecs near the time machine, Naga focused and managed to pull off the attack from earlier again but with limited success, he only managed to obliterate the top half of the robot monstrosities.

They piled into the T.A.R.D.I.S and escaped the deathtrap produce market. "What exactly were you doing Dr.?" Naga asked. "Setting the planet to self destruct. The Dalecs couldn't be allowed to live and I know for a fact that they 'exterminated' every non-Dalec on the planet. It's how they work." They regarded this in silence before Dark broke the tension with, "well these better bet the best damn pumpkins and oranges ever made." Everypony laughed at this.

When they returned home they were actually a few minutes earlier than when they left, they thanked the Dr. and went to there separate homes. Naga entered the house and prepared the pumpkin and sliced up the oranges than carried them up on a tray with a glass of (non alcoholic) cider. He set the tray down and gave a sleepy Twilight the food. She looked up to him and smiled saying "thank you honey but you really didn't have to."
