Naga and Twilight awoke the morning after the exhausting party in witch Naga was beat severely and then they all got wasted. Save Naga who had an allergy to alcohol. They made there way downstairs hoping to make it out before Twilight's mother invited them to stay for breakfast. "Oh Twilight, Naga your just in time for breakfast!" The sound of the mares voice ran chills through their spines. Naga fell forward and landed on his face. Silver chose this time to start crying for food. "Sometimes i swear you do this on purpose Silver." Twilight said as she went to feed the hungry foal.

They marched into the kitchen where a hungover Light was sitting at the table head in hooves looked up at Naga and sat up in shock. "Shit how are you still walking! There isn't even a bruise on you!" He said then held his head regretting it instantly. Naga laughed and looked at him, "I'm a lot tougher than you think. You'r lucky I restrained myself last night or you might not me here." The color drained from Lights face and went back to holding his head in his hooves. Twilight proceeded to take a spot in the far side of the room and feed Silver who drank happily from his mother. Naga helped Miss Sparkle prepare breakfast and served the fresh bread with butter after it was finished.

After a lengthy goodbye the pair departed and began their trek to the train station. They took a shortcut through a sketchy part of town in order to save time. "Gah my mom and her insentient rambling we'll never get to the train on time!" Naga looked over at his mare concerned "Maybe keep it down I don't want to attract attention in this kind of neighborhood." She looked at him with poison in her eyes but kept quiet.

They made it a few blocks before a group of stallions walked up to them. "So pretty lady how about you come with us?" The largest one said, a pegasus with a spiked mane. "Ugh no thanks." Twilight said looking at him with disgust and drawing closer to Naga holding Silver tighter. "Well we tried being nice, boys grab her." at this three of the bucks from the groop stepped forward only to be met by a furious Naga. "One more step and you..." he was inturupted as a pice of rebar impaled itself in him. Looking at his attacker the blew him back with a telekinetic blast but was intantly met by several more makeshift weapons embedding themselves in his soft flesh.

He watched in horror as the lead Stallion stepped forward a perverted grin on his face as Twilight was surrounded by the other members of the gang. She screamed and backpedaled as a unicorn in the midst of the lot dampened her magic and they began to crowd her. Fury raged like a river through Naga overwhelming his senses and empowering him with a new found strength. "YOU COWARDLY BASTARDS" He shouted as a dark cloud encompassed him. Shadows lept from him impaling every member of the street gand save the leader who he proceeded to walk up to rebar phasing through him. Naga had grown slightly and his coat was now a jet black, his eyes a blood red and his hair blue and white. "YOUR TIME HAS COME. THIS IS THE DAY YOU DIE." he said without compassion pure hatred pouring out through every pore in his body. The pegasus looked at him horrified and tried to run but was met with a bullet to the back of the skull from a gun Naga had materialized. Naga dropped the aura and returned to normal size but the change in appearance was still present. "N-Naga?" A scared Twilight asked. "Yes sweetheart it's me. But I think we need to visit my mother, she has a few questions to answer."

A few hours later they arrived at the castle where they were greeted with suspicion but let past under direct orders from Luna who had been waiting for them. She led them into a well furnished room where the room was filled with books all related in some way to astronomy. Luna sat in a chair and Naga and Twilight took a couch opposite her. "I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but it has and we must talk. Naga I know you must be unnerved but please bear with me, this has to do with your father." She looked at something distant and continued, "he was not a normal pony. In fact he wasn't even a proper pony at all. He was a demon. He fought for us during the discord war and inevitably gave his life to save us. After you were born we went into hiding and stayed so until we thought it was safe and emerged to take leadership of this world. Soon after you were captured by agents of Discord and well you know the rest. Now it would seem that your demon side has taken hold and surfaced, this explaining your change in appearance." She said with an air of conclusion.

Naga took a few moments to process this then looked to Twilight sorrowfully "Does this change your feelings for me at all?" he asked. She looked at him compassionately and shook her head no. He returned his gaze with his mother and said "Then as long as that's all then this does not affect me. I understand you keeping this secret until now but in the future please be more open with me mom, ok?" Luna looked at him teary eyed "You remind me of him so much, yes son I will tell you all you need to know all you need do is ask." Naga thanked his mother and set out to the train station intent on a long rest, pizza, and a strawberry sundae
