Red Cross is an ambulance carriage driver for Ponyville memorial hospital. One starry night, he is called to the Golden Oak Library to hear some interesting news: Twilight is in labor and needs a hospital right away. Lion, his pegasus navigator, and the resident on-call, Heart Beat, as well as the ambulance technician Knack accompany the steadfast stallion as he races to save this mare's foal...and possibly her life.
