Author’s Note: This story is hopefully going to be a long one. There are multiple elements in this story that may seem factual, but may not be. This is a work of fiction, but I tried my best to make it “realistic.” Pretty soon in the story, a lot of math is involved, and my work may not be completely correct. Like I said, this is fiction but I’m trying to be as realistic as possible, so if you see any big mistakes in my math, please tell me. If you see any loop holes, then also please tell me. When I was young, my dad used to take me out to the porch, and would sit my on his knee and let me just watch the stars. For hours it seemed, I would sit there, and wonder what was all of this? It’s so mysterious. So... unknown. I remember feeling so small and insignificant compared to everything in the night sky. I wondered, how could anybody in this world matter, when there is so much more than our planet. I remember thinking that there was no way that I could ever matter in such a vast universe. But now, as I sit here and type my story, I’d like to believe that I did matter. Not on Earth. But in the magical land of Equestria.
