SparkleCorp
Ponies think of me in many ways. Some may call me a vigilante, a bad guy. Others would call me the hero. But no matter how I am thought of, I never let it get in the way of justice. I am known in many ways, but I am mostly known as the Spider-Mare. A web slinging hero who stops crimes and beats the villains. You might still be wondering who I truly am though. I am Rainbow Dash, a hero by the name of Spider-Mare. But how did I become the powerful hero I am today? Well sit back, and you will learn my story.

"Welcome to SparkleCorp. As you may know our company was founded by Twilight Sparkle to explore millions of areas of science. Our goal is to expand science's boundaries as well as improve it."
"Ugh, can this tour get any more boring." sighed Rainbow.
"RAINBOW!! Sorry Miss..." exclaimed Applejack.
"Starshine, Miss Starshine." Rainbow rolled her eyes as the tour guide went on about, what she'd call it, egghead stuff. She simply sighed and followed on with the rest of the tour.
"And if you look to your right you will find our room filled with genetically altered spiders, holding radioactive powers that can be transferred to another body, but we have no intentions for that. There is occasionally one spider that gets out, but we have no records to have seen the arachnid bite a pony in SparkleCorp towers." Bored from the trip, Dash payed no attention to her surroundings. A spider was then climbing down towards Dash. She didn't feel it when it landed on her neck, but a piercing pain shot through her veins alerting her.
"OW!!"
"Is there anything wrong Miss Dash?" questioned Starshine.
"No...it's fine." she lied. Dash had whacked the spider on the floor killing it instantly.

Dash had fallen asleep on the train back to Ponyville. She slept like a young filly. Having dreams of winning every cloudsdale pegasus race in Equestria and becoming part of the Wonderbolts. Unaware of her surroundings. She flinched a little every now and then, but other than that she hadn't moved through her entire nap. The train then hit a bump on the tracks sending Rainbow to the ceiling of the car she was in. Instead of falling back down she just stuck there, like a piece of bubblegum stuck under a table. After this incident, she attracted attention to herself from every pony in the car. They didn't care to move, they just stood there, their eyes locked on Rainbow. She suddenly fell to the ground with a loud thud, still holding the attention from every pony in the car. They didn't dare to ask questions, they just stood there, still keeping their eyes locked upon the cyan mare as if she was going to do something else. The car had fallen silent for the rest of the trip, with ponies still questioning how the Rainbow-maned mare did it. Rainbow felt like the ponies were scared of her, though she didn't blame them. Somehow she unintentionally did something the average pony wouldn't be able to do. She thought that her hooves had something sticky on them, but they were as dry as a bone.
--
Her night was undisturbed. She slept like a little filly. Her dreams pure, her body still. Ponies didn't need a lot of time to spread rumors about what happened on the train car. As she trotted through the peaceful town of Ponyville the next day, she noticed ponies were shooting glances as she passed by. She could tell that some were afraid of what she could be capable of doing, others looked confused, as if there were no way she could pull off a stunt like this one. Her friend were mostly concerned, they tried everything they could to contact her from Canterlot. All Dash would ever do with the notes was throw them away. 'There is no possible way things are going to end bad. They need to stop worrying, I'm fine! Am I?' she thought to herself. All she could think about was how she acted. The only thing she could tell herself was that she was fine. She just knew she was alright.

"Let's see, hmm. What am I doing wrong?!"
"Professor Sparklight, I know you are doing your best, but you have to get this project in by tomorrow! I know that you may be under a lot of pressure, and that's okay, but you need to have this done by tomorrow." Twilight stated.
"I KNOW I'VE GOT IT! I JUST NEED MORE TIME!"
"I'm sorry, there is no more time, you either have this formula by tomorrow, or your fired. Got it?"
"Y-y-yes, yes I understand." He softly responded.
"Good."
As the purple unicorn left the room, the professor thought to himself.
--
Dash thought to herself. After the incident, this became common. She thought about the new abilities she had acquired. Everypony would think different of her, some would think of her as some mutant. It was like she was cursed, cursed with inhuman powers. Dash always wanted to have some cool powers, but not in the kind of way when everypony else thought you were a mutant, and in this case, she probably was. Her powers didn't make her any different than the pony she was before. She was just the same old dash she was before, except now she had super powers. It never mattered any way, everyone in Ponyville would've known not to judge a book by it's cover. If she ever were to act normal ever again, she would have to contain her powers, but how?
'I never had to deal with this type of stuff before! It's already hard to be the coolest mare in Ponyville, but seriously? Now I just had to end up like this?' she wondered to herself as she trotted down the streets of Ponyville. Suddenly, her thoughts were cut off by a loud buzzing noise. Soon after, she was tackled to the ground by her pink friend, Pinkie Pie. "Pinkie?! What are you doing here?!"
"Weeeelllll. Applejack told us about what happened on the train ride back here, and we were worried, but mostly worried, but the important part was that we were worried!'
"I'm fine!" sighed Dash. "I just.... was having a rough day." she lied.
"OOOH-KEE-DO-KEE!" the pink mare responded while trotting away. 'Well that was close. The next time I'm pretty sure I won't be so lucky.'
I Am Spider-Mare
I don't think I was ready for that day. The day one of the ponies I cared about died in a murder. The event clawed at my heart. It was too much for me to take. The pain I experienced was unbearable. I just wish I could see him now. I didn't want it to end like this for me, for him, and for my family. My mother looked as if she had seen a ghost when she found out, completely pale, with a horrified look on her face. I was the one who was affected by his death the most. My dad was a great pony and someone out there just came up to him and killed him?! It seemed impossible, but I guess the impossible could happen after all. A flame grew inside of me, a flame of vengeance. I was going to track this pony down and teach them a lesson even if it has to be the last thing I do! Whoever this pony is or who she thinks she is, I will find her!

She shivered at the word. Murder used to be a common word in Equestria, considering all the troubling times it had to go through up to this point. Her powers were going to be contained, but how? She wasn't like any other superhero she saw in the comic books she read. It seemed like that was the new thing she was into, superheroes saving the day and keeping Equestria safe. But there was something she saw in one of her comic books that was similar to her current situation. A hero called Spider-Mare. A hero for Equestria. She was onto something. Rainbow "Danger" Dash was embarking on a path that would forever change her life in a thrilling way.
--
"You have reached your destination. Thank you for riding on the Pony Express and we hope to see you again." Dash had finally made it. After all the work she had done to get to this current point, she fulfilled her objective. The ideas she took from the comic book had finally become a reality. All the work that required a lot of effort paid off. The web shooters, the costume, and mastering her new abilities. She made an order for a costume from Rarity disguised. If anypony ever knew, she would be dead. Her entire life, beginning to end, over. After about 10 times of trying to get Rarity to make the costume right, she finally got her to make the perfect costume. What Dash had to go through just to get a costume wasted 10 days of her life she will never get back. The web shooters were a bit more complicated. Dash tried to make it right for about 30 times. 60 bits spent on parts just to make the perfect web shooter. Nearly every attempt fell apart after the first 3 minutes. After the 31st attempt, she finally managed to get the design just right. Mastering her abilities took care for itself. She learned from all the accidental outbursts they sent off. Thanks to her danger-sensor, as she would call it, she didn't get hit by a runaway fruit cart. The worst of the fruit carts were the ones carrying water-melons. Anyway, she reached her destination. She had reached Canterlot. Rainbow looked for the nearest and highest rooftop she could find and flew up to it undetected. She was carrying a saddle-bag containing the costume with the web shooters attached. When she reached the rooftop, she pulled off the saddle-bag. She reached in and pulled out the costume. It was a red and blue jumpsuit, with grey web-like textures on it. On the back of each hoof area there was mostly the blue color covering the area. The eyes had a golden orange color to it. "Okay then, time to try this puppy out." stated Dash as she pulled the jumpsuit on. "Huh, it fits like a glove. Well, time to see what we can do." She jumped from the rooftop and began plummeting towards the ground. As Rainbow was falling, she spotted the perfect rooftop and shot a web towards it, landing perfectly. Her speed began to pick up as she swung by new rooftops. "WOO-HOO! This feels great!"
"NO! Leave me alone!! PLEASE!!" a voice cried.
"Hey! My first crime! Time to test out my combat skills" Rainbow exclaimed as she swung towards the source of the sound. She actually found something better than flying and being awesome all the time. She was on her way to becoming a famous super-hero. "Don't worry, we won't hurt yah! We just want to see what you got!" stated the tall crook.
"You may not want to hurt anyone, but I do!" Rainbow exclaimed as she sped towards the crooks. First, she landed a punch on the tall one and knocked him out, along with his colleague. They both laid on the ground unconscious. "There's no need to worry ma'am. Just doing what I do best." she stated in a deep voice to hide her identity. She then began to swing away from the crime scene, leaving only the crooks and the victim. That was awesome! I have never felt so alive! I should do this more often. Perhaps I can feel like the newest idol to canterlot. Yeah, that's it! I bet I can brag..Uh...I mean appreciate how everypony will love me!

"Finally, the formula is complete. After hours of sleep deprivation, I finally got it done. I can keep my job, and the company won't have to suffer any possible mistakes from it's employees, or as Sparkle would put it, mainly me. However, we need to see if this regeneration formula will work." whispered Sparklight to himself. He glanced around the room frantically, hoping to find something. "No test animals? They must be occupied right now, and apparently, Twilight never took my suggestion on pony test subjects. Unless....". He was looking over at the stump in the left side of his body, having lost his left wing in a freakish lab accident. If the formula could work on him, there will be two benefits for himself. He'd keep his job and his wing could finally grow back, considering wings barely grow back once they form into a stump and the side of the body of any pegasus. Any pegasus could come across this unfortunate fate, but it was mostly a rare thing to happen, but not for the professor. He grabbed a syringe on the table to the left of him and used it on himself. "Rrrngh!" His wing began to grow back. "WOW! IT WORKS! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT! Wait...my coat, is it..falling of my skin?" His eyes were not deceiving him. Soon after his body began to grow scales, his wings disappeared, and his hooves grew into green scaly paws followed by sharp claws. It was already too late, he had turned into a monster. 'Yes that's right! SparkleCorp is being closed due to a secret meeting made by Twilight Sparkle, founder of SparkleCorp. She is on her way to the meeting right now and SparkleCorp won't open back up for a week. Now for the nine-pm weather forecast.'
"Spaaaaaaarkllllllllle..."

"What's the next mess some nimrod will cause?! I don't want this fun to end-". Dash was cut off by a scream. She stopped and stuck onto the nearest building. "Huh? That's not right. Better check it on out."
