Prologue
"My name is Twilight Sparkle, I am twenty years old and I live in Canterlot, Equestria. I am a unicorn and I am the personal student of Equestria’s monarch Princess Celestia herself.”
“I am pretty close to my personal assistant Spike who is a baby dragon, my parents and my big brother best friend forever who is also the captain of the royal guard Shining Armor as well as his marefriend Princess Cadence who was my foalsitter.”
Twilight is playing with Shining Armor, Spike and Princess Cadence with Shining and Twilight’s parents Twilight Velvet and Night Light watching with a smile on their faces.
“I myself have my own coltfriend, his name is Flash Sentry and he is a cadet at the Royal Guard Academy, Shining does not really that me his little sister is going out with one of his cadets.”
Shining watches disapprovingly as Twilight and Flash kiss.
“I am also the Green Lantern of Sector 2812!”
“One night I was taken to the Everfree Forest where I saw this dying alien called Ord Mergel, he said he had been a part of the Green Lantern Corps a police force that protects the entire universe using these rings which work on green energy powered by willpower and can be used to create anything you can imagine, and i had been chosen to be his replacement!”
Ord Mergel offers Twilight his ring as he is dying from his wounds that Nightmare Moon gave him.
“This new job sometimes has me stopping bad guys in outer space.”
Twilight in her Green Lantern uniform was fighting an alien creature in dark blue and black hi tech armour which was beetle shaped. “Who did you guys say you were again?” Twilight asked them in a bored tone as she was fighting him using a green sword construct made by her ring.
“Ignorant Green Lantern, I am a warrior of the Reach and we will destroy you and the rest of the Green Lantern Corps!” one of the Blue Beetles said before Twilight used her sword construct to slice open the blue scarab on his back which was his power source.
“Whatever, perhaps we will fight again if you are able to pose a challenge.” Twilight yawned as she flew off as the Reach warrior fell onto an asteroid, defeated by the Green Lantern.
“Other times it takes me to the Green Lantern home planet of Oa where I usually meet my three teachers and mentors in the Corps: Kilowog, Tomar-Re and Sinestro.”
Twilight was in the library of one of the many citadels of Oa where Sinestro was reading out accepts from the Book of Oa with Twilight sitting and listening eagerly.
“But most of the time I mainly spend my job in Canterlot stopping bad guys.”
“I will be Green Lantern! I will kill you and I then I will be able to take all that I want, it will all be mine, mine, mine, MINE, MINE!” Larfleeze shouted at Twilight as he flew away after his foiled attempt to rob the Canterlot bank.
“I will get your next time Larfleeze....” Twilight muttered as she helped get the gold back into the bank.
“Yeah that was Larfleeze or Agent Orange, he has his own ring which is powered by his own avarice or greed. Here is something I think you should know though:”
“A month ago all across Equestria, this villain called the Pony of Shadows tried to take over Equestria with his army of Shadow Ponies but he was stopped by me and nine other heroes who them formed the Super Friends of Equestria!”
Twilight and the heroes of Equestria were fighting against the Nightmare Moon and Draconequus hybrid form of the Pony of Shadows.
“I have not seen my fellow Super Friends of Equestria in a while now, though I probably will someday when we are needed again, until then I continue doing what I do.”
Twilight was on another planet in Sector 2812, using a construct of a cannon against an alien with three eyes and was using his third eye to take control of the residents of the planet as wel las emit purple energy which he was shooting at Twilight.
“GREEN LANTERN, YOU WILL FALL TO THE MIGHT OF DESPERO!!!!!!!” the alien taunted as Twilight managed to hit him several times the construct cannonballs which left him dazed and released the residents of the planet from under his control.
“I have had to deal with about a hundred would be alien conquerors who all have said the exact same thing to me and they have all suffered the same defeat that you will suffer, right now!!!” Twilight shouted confidently as she knocked out Despero with a sword construct and managed to lock him a construct cage so she could take him away.
“YOU CAN’T DO THIS TO ME!!!” Despero ranted as he was forced into his prison cell on a prison planet that Twilight took him to “I WILL HAVE MY VENGEANCE!!! YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE LAST OF ME, YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS GREEN LANTERN!!!!”
“They have all said that as well after I am done defeating them.” laughed Twilight as she flew off the prison planet.
“Despite having to deal with some tough villains, I love my job as the Green Lantern. It gives me a sense of honour and duty that I get to protect Equestria! Basically the same reason Shining loves his job as Captain of the Guards, only my job extends my duty to about a billion other planets in my Sector!”
“I also get a real sense of honour whenever I need to recite the Green Lantern Oath to recharge my ring!”
Twilight was in her room with her horn pointed to her Green Lantern Power Battery as she recited the Green Lantern Oath:
“IN BRIGHTEST DAY
IN BLACKEST NIGHT
NO EVIL SHALL ESCAPE MY SIGHT
LET THOSE WHO WORSHIP EVIL’S MIGHT
BEWARE MY POWER
GREEN LANTERN’S LIGHT!!!!!!”
“So yeah that is my life and my job, I am pretty happy with how things are right now!”

SUNSET CORPS WAR

Inside the illustrious Canterlot Palace, Princess Celestia was in her throne room as she was with one of her assistants, it was that time of the day where she would meet with government or military officials and they discusses what possible concerns they may have.
Sometimes they had valid concerns, sometimes they had not so valid concerns and some had concerns which made her question their sanities.
“Who is next to meet with me?” Princess Celestia asked having already met with three officials that day: one about the high taxes, one about building a new factory and one about relations with Saddle Arabia.
Princess Celestia’s assistant looked to his notebook and said “Cadmus Director Waller wants to speak to you concerning what he believes to be an urgent matter.”
Princess Celestia’s face darkened: Cadmus was the section of the Equestrian Government that deals with military action like fighting against land that Equestria could be fighting at the moment or helping to capture war criminals.
Trask Waller was Cadmus’s director and she believed she knew what he wanted to talk to her about as she had recently met with him several times, each about the same thing.
“Send him in.” Said the Princess, wishing Trask would not persist in this argument since she had no intention of backing down on it.
Trask Waller entered the office: he was a large brown furred and blonde maned earth pony and the shape of his head and body resembled that of Equestrian farmer Big Macintosh. He had a serious look on his face and he was wearing a black shirt with a long silver buttoned up jacket that stretched so far up his body that his Cutie Mark was not able to be seen. Also on the back of his jacket was the Cadmus logo.
“Princess Celestia.” Trask greeted bowing in a Trottingham accent which was where he was from before he moved to Canterlot.
“Director Waller.” Princess Celestia greeted back looking down on the smaller earth pony “What do you wish to discuss with me?”
“I believe you already know what i wish to discuss with you.” Trask responded with the serious look on his face staying as well as a calm tone in his voice “I wish to discuss with you the dangers of Equestria who the public of Equestria are calling ‘superheroes’, including that so called Green Lantern that you seem to persist in defending.”
“The Super Friends of Equestria Director Waller have done nothing but help keep Equestria safe.” Princess Celestia stated managing to keep her calm tone “My faithful student as well as my elder brother Tydal has done nothing that has made her even seem like a threat to Equestria’s safety.”
“They have powers that could bring Equestria to its knees!” argued back Trask his calm tone slipping a little “That Green Lantern has that ring which could be used to create any weapon she chooses! We have to stop her before she decides to use that ring to enslave Equestria!!”
“Director Waller without the help of the ponies you are claiming as threats, Equestria may have been destroyed by those Shadow Ponies.” Princess Celestia argued back her facing getting closer to anger.
“How do we know that they did not just set the whole thing up so they could brainwash Equestria into serving them!” Trask shot back his serious face into an agitated face “Who knows what insidious plans these ponies have concocted!”
“That is quite enough Director Waller!” Princess Celestia shouted now at the point of being mad “please stop in this argument unless you have actual evidence to back up your words and not just unverified and claims!”
“I think you might be showing favouritism and protecting your student from any possible repercussion of her future actions!” Trask shot back and a second later he immediately wished he had not just said that last sentence.
Princess Celestia shot the government agency director with an ice cold glare which made him shrink under it and Princess Celestia’s assistant even hid his face under his hooves in fear.
“Please get out of my sight Director Waller and go back to looking at verified threats at Cadmus.” Princess Celestia stated calmly doing a remarkable voice of keeping the furious anger she had in her face out of her tone or voice “Next time you want to bring nothing up with me please bring some evidence to back up your concerns.”
Trask scampered out of the throne room as fast as he could and as soon as he was outside Princess Celestia switched back to her pleasant and friendly demeanour.
“So who is next on the list?” Princess Celestia asked her assistant giving him a moment to recover.

In the head office of Cadmus inside the Palace, Trask Waller ranted and fumed as he entered and furious slammed the door shut with his hooves. Next to his desk was his assistant a red Pegasus mare who had served in the Royal Guard.
“The meeting with the princes did not go over too well, did it Director Waller?” the mare asked although she could already guess the answer.
“No it did not, Lieutenant Trotter!” roared Trask furiously as she sat down at his desk “There has got to be a way to make the Princess see reason of the threat these so called superheroes possess!”
“Maybe we can talk to her about making a law requiring these heroes to register with the government?” offered Trotter but Trask shook his head.
“These freaks need to be destroyed, not registered.” Trask responded and his angry look had turned into a “I guess I will have to take matters into my hooves.”
He then got off his chair and told his assistant ”Come on L.T. Trotter, we are going to tell Task Force X they have a new mission!!”

Trask and Trotter walked out of the palace and then started walking to a shed near the garden of the Canterlot Palace. After making sure the close was clear they then entered the shed.
With Trotter on the lookout Trask pushed a secret lever with his hooves which opened up a down staircase to an underground CADMUS facility which would take them to the cells containing Task Force X.
Task Force X was a secret unit of Cadmus that was classified to all but the higher ups of Cadmus, not even the royal family of Equestria knew about them for they would not approve and would shut it down immediately.
The project aim was that Cadmus would have criminals from Blackgate or Arkham Asylum moved to their custody in these prison cells. They would then become part of Task Force X who would go on to do highly secret black ops missions for Cadmus.
In exchange for their loyal services after five years they would all be allowed to go free time served and their records wiped clean. Each Task Force X soldier was made to wear an electronical collar which would shock them into compliance if they tried to escape or disobey orders.
That is if they survived after five years as the mission for missions had a incredibly high mortality rate. This had been created twenty years ago by the Cadmus director at the time, Colonel Patriot Flag Sr.
“I should have done this a lot sooner.” Muttered Trask with an annoyed look on his face “but I decided to wait and see if the Princess would do the right thing and take care of these threats to Equestria waiting to happen, my mistake then!”
“Be careful the next time you criticize the princess in front of somepony else as I don’t think they will be able to tolerate it.” Trotter told him sternly “Not everypony is as open minded as I am.”
“Noted Trotter.” Trask said with a nod of his head as they had finally walked down to the end of the stairs and were in front of the many hundred rows of cells that the base had. All used to hold Task Force X members or possible candidates.
They then walked up to the five cells containing the current roster of Task Force X. “Time for you criminal scum to once again be called upon to serve Equestria’s greater good.” Trask shouted to the occupants of the cells:
Inside the cell marked “BANE” was a giant minotaur with no horns on his head, who was wearing a black wrestling mask with a skull on it, a vest, trousers and a backpack which used tubes connected to his skin to pump a chemical called “Titan” into his veins which gave him greater strength.
He was ‘the One Born and Raised in the Darkness’, the legendary champion fighter at the infamous brutal prison known as St Barbwires prison and was said to have been born and raised in the prison and had spent the last years of his life as a mercenary.
In the cell marked “BRONZE TIGER” there was a huge anthropomorphic tiger wearing brown shorts, a brown vest and metal gloves with claws on them. He was a mercenary that had came from the land of Tigeria who done his contracts with the code of honour that his people held. Trask did not believe it as he was a strong believer in the phrase “No honour among thieves”. Criminal scum had no honour, it was as simple as that.
Then in the cell marked “DEADSHOT” there was a blue furred unicorn stallion in metal armour and a grey ski mask with half of a red visor over his left eye. Connected to his left hoove was a gun weapon and he was known as a marksman assassin with an almost one hundred percent never missing record.
Then finally in the cell marked “RED LANTERN” there was the Task Force X soldier who was about to go onto her first mission and was recently delivered to them by a new ally.
The occupant was a female griffon with a red ring on one of her fingers and was wearing a red and black bodysuit. She was running around her cell spitting blood from her beak. The newest member of Task Force X had already fought the Green Lantern Twilight Sparkle before and the ring she wore was like the one that Twilight Sparkle possesses but with one major difference:
While Twilight’s ring runs on the green energy of willpower, the griffon Gilda’s ring ran on the red energy of rage.
“Are you sure we can control this beast?” Trotter asked looking uncertain and afraid at Gilda the Red Lantern griffon. Trask smirked as he took out a remote control and pressed the button with his hoove causing Gilda to shout in rage as the collar shocked her with electricity.
“Yes of course she can be controlled, all beasts can be with the right equipment.” Laughed Trask as he put remote control away “this monster along with her three fellow soldiers in Task Force X will be able to find and destroy the Green Lantern and then we can go onto destroying the rest of the so called ‘Super Friends of Equestria’ like that Supermare or Wonder Mare for instance.”
“You know that new ally who delivered her to us?” asked Trotter and Trask nodded in reply “how do you think she captured it and why did she gave her to us?”
“She probably wants to help save Equestria from a future threat, the reason doesn’t matter anyway as she has given this new weapon for us.” replied Trask with a dismissive wave of his hoove “after we are done ridding Equestria of those threats we will remove that ring from the griffon and have the thing executed.”
As the two Cadmus officials were talking a yellow unicorn mare was smirking as she was watching this from the shadows. “Some pawns are too easy to manipulate...” the mare thought in her head as she silently laughed.
She then began flying out of the base while on her horn was a glowing yellow ring.
Task Force X part 1
“You both have some nerve showing up here after disappearing for days!” an orange Pegasus in military uniform was shouting at Stolen March and Slade Eiling.
It was early in the morning in the base of Equestria’s military and Stolen March had shown up for a hearing with General Atenhun the supreme leader of Equestria’s military forces.
“You both did not respond to the mandatory calling in during the invasion of those Shadow Ponies.” Fumed Atenhun “before I give the verdict, do you two have anything to say for yourselves?”
The two defendants only looked stone faced as they both shook their heads in unison. “Okay with this plus several other black marks on your records Officer Stolen March and Lieutenant Slade Eiling you are both here by stripped of your ranks and are permanently disbarred from the Equestrian Military and are ordered to turn in your uniforms and military weapons, you may start turning them in, clearing out your lockers and leaving.”
They both just stood up and left, Atenhun was confused: these two controversial figures in the military did not protest or try to justify themselves.
Stolen March was a sneaky pony and Slade was always going around saying everything he does is to better protect Equestria, what was going on?
As they exited the office both Stolen March and Slade both shared a smirk and Slade even whispered to Stolen Match “Now that we are done with that weak military we can go on to bigger and better things!”
**
High above Canterlot the capital city of Equestria there was a cloud being driven by Lieutenant Trotter; Trask was also there with his Task Force X soldiers for this mission.
It was standard for the Cadmus director or at least a Cadmus representative to watch over the Task Force X missions by cloud and use a remote control to activate their collars if they went against the directive of the mission.
“Okay here is the plan for the mission.” Trask commanded with a dead serious tone to the four villains recruited into Task Force X “I want Red Lantern, Bronze Tiger and Bane to hide in the abandoned warehouse I have marked out for you, Deadshot will lead the Green Lantern to there, Bronze Tiger and Bane will ware her out and the Red Lantern will finish her off. Is that understood?”
The Task Force X soldiers nodded their heads except for Gilda and Bane (who was now wearing a brown buttoned up overcoat) who just grunted. “Okay now go and repay your debt to society by saving Equestria from a future threat.” Trask commanded as the cloud landed in an empty alley and the Task Force X soldiers got off.
The Cloud then went back into the sky so Trask could monitor their mission. “Are you sure it is a good idea to use already dangerous criminals to destroy another one.”
“All in the greater good and these scums of Equestria are under our control.” Trask said with a dismissive wave of his hoove.
**
Two days after the Super Friends of Equestria had stopped the Pony of Shadows from taking over Equestria, the Red Lantern of Sector 2812 Gilda was basically rampaging through a forest.
Ever since escaping Arkham Asylum all her thoughts was of somehow finding the stupid Green Lantern unicorn and take her murderous vicious vengeance upon her. The thoughts of the pain she will make her go through was what she dreamed about every single night when she went to sleep.
Every animal that would come her way she would crush them and spit blood all over their corpses. She then felt something blasting her back and she wondered who would dare strike her. She would make whatever that was pay with their live.
She then turned around started at the floating figure of Slade Eiling in his Sunset Corps uniform. “Come and get me Red Lantern Griffon scum!” Slade taunted a smirk was hiding underneath the constructed helmet that was part of his uniform.
“.....I...I......Will.........Des.....Destroy....DESTROY AND KILL YOU!!!!!!” Gilda roared out as he flew into the air and started shooting red plasma blast at Slade.
Slade managed to dodge this and he managed to create a construct of a staff he was using to hit Gilda several times with it. “......I WILL KILL YOU AND THEN KILL THE GREEN PONY! ” Gilda roared out again as she took the staff from him by her claw and then smashed it by tightening her grip.
“I got more tricks up my sleeve.” Slade told Gilda with a smirk as he used a construct of a sword to fight Gilda before she broke it with her grip.
“Enough games!” Slade said sternly as his ring was started to glow brightly “[color]Now let me show you what my ring can really do, let’s see what you fear the most!!!”
From his ring came out a yellow construct of Rainbow Dash glaring at Gilda who then stated “I thought you were cool Gilda but I guess I was wrong, you are not cool at all! You never were, you are a lame griffon and you always will be! My new pony friends are much cooler than you ever will be.”
“NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Gilda roared with great rage causing her to glow more brightly red before she was knocked out from behind by another construct staff that Slade had made.
“Weak griffon garbage.” Slade muttered as he used constructs of hoove cuffs to cuff Gilda’s claws behind her back “You are lucky we need you alive or I would end your worthless life, right here and now!!!!”
Remembering how her ally had captured the Red Lantern, Sunset Shimmer smirked to herself as she was in her Sunset Corps uniform, watching her pawn Trask Waller send down his Task Force X to deal with Twilight Sparkle the Green Lantern and her unworthy replacement as Princess Celestia’s personal student.
They will of course fail and she can go on to the next phase of her master plan. Soon she will be leading her Sunset Corps as they rule all Equestria!

Twilight sighed as she felt out of bed early in the morning, woken up by the sound of her alarm clock which she turned off with her horn. Right beside her alarm clock on her bedside table was a framed picture of her and her coltfriend Flash Sentry.
She had a little bit of a busy afternoon before going to bed, she had to help fellow Lanterns Stel and Green Man recapture Kanjar-Ro who had escape from his space prison.
A Green Lantern’s job was never done, she supposed and right before she went to bed she recharged her ring for the next day. She yawned as she walked out of her room and then outside of the palace.
She then saw some sort of a bullet coming for her and she managed to dodge it just in time, “More work for me to do!” thought Twilight in her head as her ring started glowing and a second later she was now in her Green Lantern uniform.
Looking around she spotted on a rooftop was a figure and she then began flying after it shouting “Come and face me like a stallion or mare!”
The figure jumped down to the roof of a base before jumping down to the ground and entering the warehouse. Twilight entered the warehouse after him and recognised the figure as the infamous killer for hire Deadshot.
Deadshot pointed his horn to his blaster weapon on his hoove to power it up only to get knocked out by a construct fist from Twilight, “For a supposed legendary psycho for hire I expected much more, Deadshot.” Twilight said smirking to Deadshot’s body.
“Perhaps I can prove to be a bigger challenge Green Lantern!” and Twilight looked up and noticed in the middle of the warehouse was a boxing ring and in the middle was the infamous Bronze Tiger.
The Bronze Tiger in Tigeria was known as a champion fighter in several rings and since coming to Equestria he had been known as a skilled mercenary who had managed to defeat several Royal Guards when they tried to capture him and it was only because of Mare Do Well, Twilight’s teammate in the Super Friends of Equestria that he was captured in the first place.
Twilight then flew to the ring and landed in the square circle, “Let’s see if there is more to you Green Lantern than just a fancy ring.” The Bronze Tiger said with a serious look on his face “Let’s see if you can fight with honour!”
Twilight gruntled to herself when she realized because of the yellow in the Bronze Tiger’s fur her ring’s power may not work on him. She had time to ponder as the Bronze Tiger jumped at her and tackled her to the ground only for Twilight manage to push him off.
Bronze Tiger then pounced on her with his silver claws and Twilight managed to get up a construct shield to protect herself. Bronze Tiger crashed into it and Twilight pushed it forward causing Bronze Tiger to be pushed onto the ground.
She then constructed a hand and managed to make it grab Bronze Tiger’s leg which was covered by his brown trousers. She then swang him about and threw him into a wall.
“A worthy opponent you are..........” Bronze Tiger managed to say before passing out, then smashing through the door was Bane in his giant brown overcoat.
“That is three supervillains in a row, where are they coming from?” Twilight asked out loud preparing to fight the monstrous minotaur.
Task Force X part 2
On the Planet Oa in the yellow citadel of the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Guardian Ganthet was talking to his Guardian brothers.
“My fellow Guardians.” Ganthet stated with a look of worry in his face “Long have we only used the Emerald Energy of Willpower as our sole weapon to maintain order within the 3600 sectors of the Universe, I fear that it may not be enough!”
“You actually show fear Brother Ganthet, I believe us Guardians are above emotions such as fear.” Stated the Guardian Appa Ali Apsa glaring at Ganthet “besides I believe the green energy which fuels the ring of our Green Lantern Corps to be more than enough to deal with whatever threat comes to the universe.”
At this there murmurs of agreement within the Guardians and Ganthet gave a glare as he stated “may I remind you Brother Appa tat other enemies have harnessed the powers of the Emotional Spectrum before, Agent Orange has long mastered and controlled the Red Energy of Avarice, Atroctius used the Red Energy of Rage to create his own Corps and I have heard from Twilight Sparkle Green Lantern of Sector 2812 that someone from her home planet managed to harness the Yellow Energy of Fear. I believe I have found where another weapon to add to our arsenal could be found.”
The Guardians did looked worried when Ganthet mentioned someone harnessed the Yellow Power of Fear but they then switched to their default emotionless faces, the Guardians talked for a moment before one of them faced Ganthet and said “the Guardians do agree with Brother Appa’s statement that the Green Energy will be more than enough to combat any threat to the order of the universe.”
Ganthet shot a glare at his fellow Guardians before the Guardian continued “however if you believe to have found another weapon to use Brother Ganthet, we grant you authorisation to go on a mission to see if you can track this weapon down.”
Ganthet bowed before leaving taking his place in the seats of the citadel, Appa was now deep in thought. There was a criminal who managed to harness the Yellow Energy of Fear the natural enemy of Willpower the source of the Green Lantern Corps’ powers?
If they were not careful they would have to come face to face with a Yellow Lantern Corps, and due to the yellow impurity installed in every single Green Lantern Power Ring, their seemingly unstoppable Green Lantern Corps could prove to be at a disadvantage.
Perhaps he could talk to his Guardian brothers about the possibility of deactivating the Yellow Impurity which could be reactivated at any time in a Power Ring if said ring’s user decided to go against the Corps and the Guardians.

“Once i have broken you the Mare Do Well will be my next victim!” Bane shouted ready for the inevitable fight.
Twilight was ready and charged at Bane only to be taken by the horn by Bane’s claw and then thrown into the wall. Twilight managed to get up and watch Bane take off his overcoat and show the tubes going into his veins.
He then pressed some button and then the chemical injected themselves into Bane’s body causing him to grow larger and bigger, truth be told Twilight was growing a little nervous but still stood tall as she got up at the mutant minotaur.
“You are big but I fought bigger!” Twilight told Bane with a determined look on her face. She then produced a Construct of a turret and began firing at Bane.
Bane snarled as he charged at Twilight but Twilight flew into the air causing only her construct to be smashed by Bane.
Twilight then took the distraction to create a construct of a sword she used to cut off the tubes that was connected to Bane, Bane then roared out in rage as he running around the place.
Twilight reconstructed her turret construct and began firing again at Bane who charged at her only to get knocked out by a giant fist construct from Twilight. “Seriously where are these bad guys coming from?” Twilight wondered out loud before staring in shock when she spotted her next opponent:
Gilda the Red Lantern!!!
Gilda then charged at Twilight and managed to smash the constructed shield she created into pieces, she then began using her claws to punch at Twilight’s face.
Twilight managed to throw her off with a blast of green energy from her ring, Gilda before she charged at twilight again used her claw to rip off her collar and crush it into pieces.
After discarding the destroyed collar issued to her by Cadmus she then began her barrage against Twilight, using her ring to shoot red energy at Twilight.

“Sir something is wrong!!!” Trotter told Trask with a worried look on her face as she stared at the remote control to the collars which was lying on the cloud.
“What is it?” Trask asked annoyed wanting to focus his attention on his Task Force X’s inevitable elimination of the ring wearing unicorn menace that the Princess seemed to be determined to protect.
“The Red Lantern’s collar just somehow went offline!” Trotter exclaimed while Trask’s stone faced face suddenly became alarmed at this statement.
“What are you sure?” Trask asked worry evident in his voice “without that collar we have no way of controlling that beast, she could run rampage through Canterlot.......”
Then they were knocked out by yellow blasts as flying over them was the smirking duo of Stolen March in his Sunset Corps Uniform and wearing the Yellow Ring on his horn, Branden a former Ponyville SWAT Captain who was a prisoner of Arkham Asylum before the Sunset Corps broke him out.
Branden’s Sunset Corps uniform was greatly simplified to just a construct of his old SWAT hat on his head and a construct of a police vest with Sunset’s Cutie Mark on it. “We are thankful for your help but unfortunately you both are liabilities to us that we just cannot ignore.” Stolen March said to the two fallen high ranking agents of Cadmus.
Stolen March then used the controls of the cloud causing it to crash into the ground, Trotter and Trask will survive......... after some time in hospital.

Gilda had taken Twilight’s head and was banging it against the wall of the building until it was broken and then she threw Twilight through it.
“My thirst for vengeance......... shall be satisfied........... by drinking the blood........ of your corpse you lame pony!!!!” Gilda snarled before he felt yellow construct arrows firing at her back.
“Who dares disrupt Gilda’s vengeance.......” Gilda snarled as she was knocked to the ground by a yellow construct fist and then the Yellow Lantern Sunset Shimmer flew in smiling as the civilians were watching and some reporters were taking notes and taking pictures.
“You will not threaten Canterlot again!!!” Sunset told Gilda as she used construct handcuffs to cuff her claws behind her back as she was lifted up into the air by a yellow bubble.
The crowd was cheering as Twilight glared at her yellow rival and asked “What are you doing Sunset?”
“Why nothing more than do what you have been doing dear Twilight.” Sunset said in a false kind tone of voice as her face held a slightly smug look on it “I mean there is room in Equestria for more than one color based hero Lantern, isn’t there not?”
Sunset then flew off with the bubble containing Gilda as the civilians began cheering for the Yellow Lantern as Twilight flew off thinking:
“So I get attacked by two supervillains and then attacked by Gilda only to be saved by another one of my enemies Sunset Shimmer? This could not have been a coincidence, this must have been a set up! I don’t know what game is Sunset playing but I will get to the bottom of this!!!”

Near the dragon wasteland the dragon Garble had managed to get up and after a few moans he was now walking through the desert landscape between Equestria and the Dragon Wasteland.
Some time ago he was approached by somepony called the Pony of Shadows who gave him the power to turn back into Black Garble so he can destroy Equestria’s superheroes for him. He managed to take on Supermare and the Dash only to get beat up by some shape shifting pony and was sent flying off into the Dragon Wasteland and due to the impact of his fall he turned back into normal Garble and became unconscious.
After who knows how long he had managed to get up on his own strength and was now walking aimlessly until, intending to wait until he had enough of his strength to use the word to turn back into Black Garble. He would have his long awaited rematch with his stupid brat of a rival Captain Alicorn.
Black Garble will make his comeback and become lord and master of the soon to be dragon ruled Equestria, it was his destiny!
Behold the Corps
The following day Princess Celestia was reading about how her former student Sunset Shimmer the Yellow Lantern helped her current student Twilight Sparkle the Green Lantern defeat Gilda, the griffon citizen who was the Red Lantern.
Although she wished Sunset was still the hopeful student she was when she took her if she had to face the facts and remember the last time she had saw her she was impatient, scheming and self centred. It was more than likely she had a hidden agenda; Sunset rarely did anything that could be considered nice, kind or generous unless there was something in it for her. In short although she wished otherwise Sunset would never have been a worthy candidate of being a princess or as the Element of Magic, of course since Twilight had gotten that Green Lantern Power Ring she had to abandon her plans for the Elements of Harmony but still while would have been a great candidate to lead the Elements: Sunset wasn’t.
She wished she could forgot the day she had to banish Sunset from the palace but she never could, she caught Sunset studying magics that she wasn’t ready for. She demanded that she be made a princess immediately but she had to tell her she was not ready and it seemed by her impatient she never would be.
She had to order her Guards to escort her out of the palace for she would be banned from the school and from entering the palace; they had managed to stop her from entering her special portal mirror, one that she had once used to enter a realm of strange creatures called Humans.
One that had her name and even looked and sounded like her, she had impersonated her and let’s just say her successful business was now ruined and the only work her counterpart could find was now as a high school principal that her sister worked at, her bad.
Anyway her former disgraced student had now reappeared herself claiming to be a hero but she knew that Sunset had to be up to something, she just hoped that her current and more faithful student was able to handle whatever Sunset was planning.
Not only that but in a cloud accident the director of Cadmus Trask Waller and his assistant Trotter were injured and would be in the hospital until they awaken from the comas they were in. Examing his office she learned he had hired the villains Twilight had to face, recruited for some project called Task Force X hoping to kill her!
She made the other higher ups explain themselves and they nervously did, she was not pleased. She ordered Task Force X and those less moral projects shut down and warned the Cadmus officials that any more illegal business behind their back could mean a long time in the dungeons.
She had put her sister Princess Luna in his place as the new action director of Cadmus, asking her to see if she can find any other shady or immortal projects Cadmus had been doing behind her back.
She could not believe after telling him that his fears that her student and her fellow heroes would soon become a threat to Equestria were unfounded, he still went behind his back anyway, employing dangerous criminals to eliminate one of the ponies close to her!
She wished Trask did not have to be such a paranoid pony, when he eventually awakes from his coma he will have to stand trial for going against her orders and employing criminals to take down one of the heroes of Equestria, one that was the monarch’s personal student at that!
“He was a good and competent head of Cadmus......” Princess Celestia thought in her head sadly “So why did he have to be so stubborn and paranoid?”

In the secret base of the now Sunset Corps, Sunset along with her allies Slade and Stolen March was now facing the small number they had recruited so far.
Sunset grinned to herself, this will be the start of her own army which will allow her to take control of Equestria and gained the power and titles that she so rightfully deserved both her fool of a former mentor Princess Celestia refused to give to her.
She will have it all anyway, soon she will be ruling over Equestria with her Corps by her side! Slade greeted the recruits and told them “okay cadets you all have proven to be worthy of being Sunset Corps the new protectors of Equestria and it will now be time to show Equestria what we can do! Now let us all recite the oath!”
They all then pointed their rings to the large yellow power battery and then recited the collective oath of their new Corps:
"In Blackest Day,
In Brightest Night,
Beware your fears made into Light
Let those who try to stop our might, burn like her power: SUNSET’S LIGHT!!!!!!!"
With that collective oath they were now in their Sunset Corps uniform. Slade allowed his constructed helmet to disappear so they all could see his grinning face.
“It is now time to show Equestria what we are made of!!” Stolen March shouted and they all cheered in excitement and congratulations.
Equestria will now know the power of the Sunset Corps!!!

The dragon Garble had been wandering for days and he was sure no one had been in that era for a long time. He had no idea where he was going or how he could get back home, but he kept walking.
He was determined to find his way back to Equestria, no matter what and then he could exact his revenge and conquest of Earth.
However on his journey he caught something with his eye, there seemed to be a city appearing in the long distance. He began walking to it to see what it was and what had just happened.
Unknown to Garble that he had discovered upon..........
The now reawakened Crystal Empire!
