Pinkamena Interrupted

------------

Pinkamena Diane Pie stood in her basement admiring her work. A table with thick straps, a tray with all her favorite tools and a decorated room ready for her “guests.” The young mare was a baker by trade but she always considered that a side job to her true passion, throwing parties. Parties were her special talent, her greatest joy and every Pony who attended said they were “to die for.”

Pinkamena’s left eye twitched, a crooked smile spread across her face. It was time for another party and that meant picking a guest. She trotted across the room to a wooden work bench adorned with various graphs and lists she had made about her seven past parties and her plans for future ones. Behind a small journal she used to record the reactions of ponies to her “party games” was a worn out party hat filled with scraps of paper. Pinkamena stood on her hind legs, lifted her forelegs off the ground and leaned her chest against the table. Her long hair flowed over the journal gliding into the side of the hat. Gripping the hat between her hooves she lowered her mouth into the hat emerging with a scrap of paper.

Holding the scrap of paper on her hoof she whispered. “Let’s see who the lucky pony is.”

Her jaw dropped and she gaped at the paper. Scrawled on the paper was the number six, Rainbow Dash’s number. A cruel smirk spread across her muzzle. This was one she had been waiting for. She had wanted more than anything to party with one of those traitors. *Twitch* This was different though, this was Dash. Rainbow Dash was pony she wanted to party with most of all. Pinkamena thought back to the last party anypony willingly showed up too. That anypony was Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash stepped through the door to into Sugarcube Corner and flew up to Pinkie’s room. “Hey there, Pinkie Pie… Sorry I was in such a rush earlier. I had some place to be you know how it goes…” Dash looked at the table where Pinkie was serving cake to her… “Guests.”... “What's going on Pinkie?” Dash asked slowly.

“I am having a party with my new friends,” Pinkie replied in a huffy tone. “Isn’t that right Madame La Flour?” Rainbow Dash began backing away as Pinkie put her arm around a bag of flower and in a phoney accent said: “Oui! Zat iz correct, Madame.” Pinkie slowly turned her head towards Rainbow Dash with an uneven smile on her face.

Rainbow Dash took a quick look at her "new friends" and made up her mind. “I gotta go bye!” screamed Rainbow Dash as she bolted out the door leaving the pink pony alone with her new friends.

Pinkamena sighed. She did not know at the time that the little pity party she threw herself would be the last one with more than one guest. Rainbow Dash had told her “friends” everything and soon the rumors of her “Pinkie Party” made its way across Ponyville. When she had grown sick of her pathetic little pick-me-up party she stepped out of her home for some fresh air. As she walked through the town center she noticed a few small crowds gathering short distances away murmuring to each other. That is when she first heard the whispers.

“It’s true look at her mane. It is just like Dash said.”

“She looks so angry; did you hear what she did?”

“I never liked those childish parties anyway. She is twenty-two years old and still playing with confetti and balloons. I knew there was something off about her.”

Everypony began to avoid her. Nopony made eye contact with her on the street, and nopony came to her weekly parties. In desperation she began to throw daily parties but the turnout was always the same, an empty table. Her 5 former closest friends made excuses not to be around her. They were much curter and without thought to plausibility then the ones made to avoid Gummy’s after birthday party. Pinkamena’s life as the most popular pony in Ponyville had ended in the course of an afternoon. She was a pariah and the pegasus that caused it was out there... waiting... for her final party.

Pinkamena laid herself down on her table as her thoughts turned to  her past guests. She smiled and whispered “Mmmn, Dashie we are going to have so much fun together.” She let herself become lost in her dark plans.

---

Rainbow Dash felt free as the wind past her by as she dove. The ground was rapidly approaching beneath her. Her wings flew open and she pulled up on the current back up into the clear blue. Rainbow felt alive. Her mind clear of any distraction she performed trick after stunt after trick. She glided and dived through the air until she grew tired, then coming down to rest upon a cloud where she could relax alone in her thoughts.

The calm air of the beautiful day did not mimic the thoughts in her head as she lost the concentration so essential to her well-practiced performances. As her mind wandered it turned to her reluctantly favorite subject, Pinkie Pie. The pink mare had been in her mind for months.

Rainbow Dash had avoided Pinkie since the incident at Sugarcube Corner. Her thoughts drifted to the mares room or “Creepytown” as she had been referring to it. She had flown out of there the first chance she got leaving Pinkie to her well animated, inanimate “friends”. When she told everypony up at the farm where Pinkie’s surprise party was to take place, the news of what she had seen at Sugarcube Corner spread like a wildfire. Just like that her former best friend became a pariah to the whole town. Rainbow Dash didn’t notice until two months ago what was happening in Pinkie’s life. She was so absorbed with avoiding the pink mare she never noticed that Pinkie was never around. That changed the day she caught site of Pinkie walking through the darkened alleyways between the shops of Ponyville dejected and alone.

Rainbow Dash had quietly followed the crushed mare as she did her errands for the Cakes. When Pinkie walked towards the shops ponies would keep their distance, even the other four of her former best friends would step aside. Rainbow Dash decided to put the “creepiness” in the back of her mind and find out what she had missed. Pinkie had all but disappeared except for shopping in the early morning before the crowds and on rainy days when nopony was about. She didn’t even work the counter anymore staying in back baking the treats, probably because Sugarcube's customers would thin out if the unpopular mare were to be in view of the customers. Rumors of poisons and razor blades in the treats spread around and Rainbow Dash worked to put them down as quickly as she could find the ponies spewing them. That was the least she could do.

What have I done? she mused in what was almost a sob. I wrecked everything for her, I didn’t even ask what she was doing. Pinkie's always been random, I understand that but no pony else does

“I have to do something" she said under her breath. Suddenly it hit her, she had a plan. It was simple, to simple really. If nopony will talk to Pinkie and nopony will be her friend then I will. Forget the talking flour sacks and creepy facial expressions, it is time to mare up and fix this. Pinkie may hate me now but I to do something! Rainbow Dash thought. I can do this; all I need to do is stick to Pinkie like my hooves are made of glue…

“How hard could this really be? ” Dash said to herself.

Chapter 1

Pinkamena paced back and forth across her room standing on her hind legs. A Generals Hat with three gold stars sat on top of her head, a pipe in her mouth and a riding crop was griped in her right fore hoof. “Alright team we have a job to do! It won’t be easy, it won’t be glamorous, some of you may even lose your lives but in the end the sacrifices are worth it.”

A pile of rocks and a baby alligator wearing army helmets sat motionlessly in front of their pacing commander. Pinkamena marched up to a two sided swiveling Blackboard tapping a crude drawing of Rainbow Dash with the crop. “Our goal troops is to turn this,” she moved the crop tapping a picture of a cupcake. “into this!” Any questions?

Pinkamena put her arm around the pile of rocks and in a deep voice said “If Rainbow Dash keeps avoiding you, how will we capture her?”

Pinkamena walked back to the blackboard. “Good question First Lieutenant Rocky. We cannot grab her at her home because it is made of clouds.” She tapped a drawing of a cloud home. “We cannot get her on the ground because she flies away whenever I get near. I don’t think she trusts you two ether.” Gummy blinked one eye followed by the other. “Your eyes are too shifty Sergeant Gummy sometimes even I don’t trust you” Pinkamena said giving the gator a suspicious look.

Pinkamena collapsed on her haunches and sighed. “This is going to be the hardest one yet.”

At that moment the door to Sugarcube Corner opened and a cyan pegasus walked in.

---

Rainbow Dash awoke early that morning ready to tackle the day with vigor and vitality. She rolled herself gracefully out of bed “Gah!” she exclaimed from her upside down position on the floor. Now fully awake she looked to the beeping clock above her on the nightstand next to the bed. 12:45 PM “Why am I up so early!” she yelled. Dash brought her hoof down on the off button on top of the clock. Oh yeah I have to help Pinkie Pie today. Rainbow thought as she set about getting ready for the day. She went through her normal morning ritual of not grooming, not making her bed, not tidying up her room and cooking herself an extravagant breakfast of dry cereal. Getting all her essentials done with only a short break for a light nap she was out the door at 3:35 PM.

Taking a diving off her cloud porch she spread her wings and let the current take her up into the skies. She looked down over Ponyville as she glided across the sky. As she reached town center she whispered to herself nervously “Here goes.” and folded her left wing slipping into a free fall. Spreading her wings as she reached the surface she gave them a couple of small flaps touching down outside of Sugarcube Corner. Her hooves shook as she stared up at what was now a tall and imposing building. She is not going to want to see me. thought Dash. Well what’s the worst she can do. she pondered as the wheels turned in her head. Thinking about how she was going to save her friendship Rainbow Dash opened the door and stepped inside.

Sitting behind the counter was an older blue mare with a pink mane styled in an up manedo. She glanced over at the door as the new customer walked in. The mare grimaced at the sight of the cyan pegasus for a second before putting on her business smile.

Rainbow flinched and uneasily started “Hi Ms. Cake… how’s it goin?”

“Oh fine dearie. Can I get you anything?” Ms. Cake replied.

Dash noticed a hint of agitation in her voice but pressed on. “Is Pinkie here?”

A look of surprise crossed Ms. Cakes face. “Why she is almost always here.” Ms. Cake said with faux sweetness.

“Oh… yeah… right.” Rainbow muttered quietly. “Can I speak to her?”

“Why would you want to do that” Ms. Cake replied coldly as she dropped the polite pretenses. She stared down at the nervous cyan mare that had driven her employee and tenant into hiding.

“I just want to talk to her” said Dash “I want to apologize. Can I speak to her?”

Ms. Cake put on a neutral expression and said “You will have to ask her yourself, we don’t talk anymore”

Rainbow Dash felt sick to her stomach at the thought of Pinkie even being withdrawn from the Cakes. They had kept her on their staff even though she was a drain on business and could not even work the counter anymore. Rainbow Dash looked away from the older mare that now had a more solemn look as she returned to her duties. No doubt she was thinking of the predicament of her isolated employee. Dash began to make her way up the stairs where Pinkie’s apartment was located.

---

Pinkamena sighed as she sat on her haunches staring at the two soldiers she had mocked up. All games aside she had a serious problem. How could she get Dash alone so she could catch her new and soon to be favorite party guest? Ideas passed through her head and were shot down one by one. A cloud walking spell wouldn’t work; she knew nopony who would agree to cast one on her. Her Peddle Power Pinkamena Copter was in the shop after that rude Griffon smashed it. She was running out of options. Why couldn’t Dash just live on the ground like Cloud Kicker… had. Pinkamena smiled at the fun memory. Come on think she is not just gonna come prancing through the door.

*Knock, Knock*

“Pinkie it is Dash. I know we haven’t spoken in a while but can I come in? I think we should talk.” came the voice through the door.

Pinkamena picked her jaw up off the floor and stared at the door for a moment speechless. Looking around at the mess her room had become and her own wacky outfit she started to panic.

“Pinkie? Are you there?” came the voice.

“Just a second Dash” Pinkamena replied.

Pinkamena opened her toy box throwing the Generals Hat, Pipe and Riding Crop in. She plucked the helmets off of Gummy and Rocky and threw them in, soon followed by Rocky himself. She placed Gummy into his bed. She then turned to her Blackboard which had a drawing of Rainbow Dash on it with an arrow pointing to a drawing of a Cupcake. Above it is big letters were the words *How to Catch Rainbow Dash and Bake her into a Cupcake* Pinkamena rushed over and flipped over the board to the other side and quickly turned her head to the rest of the room. It seemed all clear. She walked over to the door to let in the impatient pegasus.

Pinkamena opened the door and stared at Rainbow Dash mustering up the biggest sweetest fake smile she could manage for the pegasus. “Hi Rainbow Dash.”

Rainbow Dash stepped into the room made uneasy by the grimace on the pink mares face and said “Hey Pinkie it’s been a while. How are you doin these days?”

Pinkamena stifled a twitch and swallowed her resentment. In a forced cheery voice she said “I have been busy, you know how it goes.”

Rainbow Dash expression didn’t hide her guilt. She whispered to herself solemnly “I know how it goes alright.”

Pinkamena was about to respond when she noticed the Blackboard she had just flipped over sitting behind Rainbow Dash. On the other side of the flipped blackboard was her drawing from last night. She had forgotten to erase before going to bed. On the board was a picture of Dash strapped to a table with her stomach cut open. Depicted standing above her was a drawing of herself holding a butchers knife. Below the drawing was a list titled *Different Tools I am going to use to Torture Rainbow Dash to Death with in my Basement Tomorrow.* Pinkamena’s eyes widened in shock as she stared at what must be the most incriminating thing she could have possibly written and then placed right next to Rainbow Dash.

Rainbow Dash stared at Pinkie’s shocked expression and exclaimed “What’s wrong Pinkie?”

Pinkamena had to distract Dash anyway she could. Suddenly an idea struck her. Years of watching Sitcoms had told exactly how to distract Dash. Jumping towards Dash she reached out her fore hooves and puckered her lips ready to plant a kiss on Rainbow Dash. A move Pinkamena thought that would obviously leave the cyan mare seeing stars while the pink mare sauntered over to the board and erased her drawing. Landing her hooves on Dash’s shoulders she was about to press her lips against…

*Bang!*

As their heads collided at an impressive speed Pinkamena toppled over Rainbow Dash and into the Blackboard knocking it to the floor in an explosion of chalk dust. Little stars floated around her head as the powdered Pinkamena tried to work out what had just happened.

---

Rainbow Dash having moved her head to the side of the oncoming Pink Missile missing most of the blow. Dash stared at the splotchy pink and white mess lying on top of the smudged Blackboard. She heard the mare mutter “Never kiss the Rainbow” in a daze. Pinkie Pie is still so random. she thought rolling her eyes.

Rainbow watched Pinkie Pie try to stand up on her shaky hooves only to step on her long mane and fall right back down. Dash moved towards the mess of a mare to try and help her. Placing her head under Pinkie’s belly she lifted her to her feet. Rainbow looked down at the smudged Blackboard whatever was written there was ruined.

“Pinkie your Blackboard… everything on it” Dash started.

Pinkie’s eyes shot open and she yelled “Gummy drew it, I mean because he… I, umm, pictures and the lottery and I don’t have anything in my basement!” Pinkie’s fore legs flailed wildly as her ranting became more and more incoherent. “There are no bodies and my cupcakes are vegetarian only!”

“Pinkie calm down!” Dash said grabbing her weird friend in her fore legs and shaking her. “You’re talking crazy!”

Pinkie looked down at the smudged board which was completely illegible. “Oh…” she said. A blush crept over her face as she stared at the blackboard. “Never mind then” she chirped with a big smile.

Rainbow Dash sighed in relief but soon the tension started to come back full swing. Suddenly she was very aware that she was standing in the room of her former best friend whose life she had destroyed. Rainbow noticed Pinkie had a faraway look in her eyes as she recollected herself. Having no idea what to do or expect next Dash just started talking. “Hey Pinkie I know it has been a while but umm I think we could be friends again.”

“Pinkamena” Pinkie said under her breath.

“What was that?” Dash replied.

“My name, it is Pinkamena. I don’t go by Pinkie anymore” Pinkie or Pinkamena now said giving a cold look to Dash.

Rainbow Dash felt like a Sea Pony out of water staring at her old friend and her very new personality. “How have you been since… I last saw you” Rainbow asked. She received only a cold glare in return from a now twitching pink mare. Rainbow continued “I’ve been fine, been working the extra at weather patrol since Cloud Kicker left.” She noticed a smile grow on Pinkamena’s face. Finally something we could talk about. thought Rainbow Dash. “A lot of ponies leaving town these days, huh?”

---

Pinkamena smiled as Dash mentioned one of the ponies that had met the same fate Dash was about too. Snapping out of her revelry she clued into her surroundings. Dash was standing right in front of her ripe for the cupcaking. She just had to incapacitate her. She knew what she had to do next and was eager to get through with it as fast as possible. Feeling sick to her stomach she put on the best smile she could, stared into the eyes of the pegasus that ruined her life and said “I would be glad to be friends with you again.”

“That’s great!” replied the cyan mare as a look of relieve crossed her face. “You’ll see things will be back to normal in no time.”

“Would you like a snack? I baked some great new cupcakes.” Pinkamena said.

“Sure cupcakes would be awesome” replied Rainbow Dash as she watched Pinkie set the table in her room with plates and napkins.

Pinkamena opened her dresser where she kept her midnight snacks and removed two cupcakes and a small vial. After pouring the contents of the vial onto the icing of one of the cupcakes she carried them over to the table and set the drugged one in front of Rainbow Dash. Pinkamena leaned in close to Rainbow Dash and whispered “bon appétit” in Dashes ear. Chalk dust scattered off her coat spilled onto the cyan mare causing her to cough. “I will be right back with a juice box. To clear up that dry cough.” Pinkamena said walking towards her snack filled dresser.

Rainbow jumped up and yelled “You don't have too I am fine” bumping the table sending the cupcakes rolling. Dash dived after them grabbed them both, turned around and tossed them back onto the plates before Pinkamena returned.

“Nonsense” Pinkamena said returning and placing a Juicebox next to Dash. She sat down watching Rainbow Dash intently. Realizing that Dash was returning her stare she grabbed up her Cupcake and tossed it into her mouth. Dash soon followed her example.

“This is really good” Dash exclaimed. “What do you want to do now?”

“Now Dashie?” Pinkamena said with a hint of venom. “Now you take a nap.”

---

Pinkamena stared at her unconscious prize strapped to the table with glee. Pinkamena looked to the tray table at her side. It had all of her favorite instruments placed on it. She began to take mental note of each one. Scalpel, Hacksaw, Icepick, Serrated Knife, Hatchet, Nails, Curling Iron (She had found a new use for that one), Pliers, 20" of Chains, Kerosene Blowtorch, Ballpeen Hammer, Battery / Jumper Cables, Sheers, Choke Pear, Blackjack, Cat-O-Nine Tails, and an assortment of medical supplies including drugs, bandages and sutures laid upon her three level table. Each and every tool collected in the months since her social exile. Some of them purchased from shops or mail ordered while the more elaborate devices were made with her own mouth and hooves.

Pinkamena was going to drag this one out. She was almost saddened that it came so early. She wanted to dominate every inch of her captive. To soak in every look of shock, every flinch of pain, every tear that fell and scream of agony. This was what she lived for now, what she breathed for. Making them all suffer. She reveled in her sadism, taunting her prey and laughing at their pain. Now she had the pony responsible for her both her sad life and her awakening, this was going to be the best party yet. She took a moment to worry that her future games would be dull by comparison but she didn’t have long to ponder that thought.

“Mmmm.”  Rainbow had started to stir slowly lifting her head.

“Hi Dashie” Pinkamena chirped. “Was your rest peaceful?”

“What is going on Pinkie Pie? Where am I?” Rainbow asked nervously. Her eyes darted around the darkened room unable to see the 100% pony made "party decorations." She had started to struggle against the straps of the inclined party table.

“I was so excited that we were going to be friends again that I threw you a very special Pinkie Party.” Pinkamena replied. She picked the Blackjack off her tray with her teeth and walked towards Rainbow Dash.

"What is that thing for?" Rainbow Dash said in a panicked whisper.

Pinkamena pressed the jack lightly against the base of Rainbow Dash's throat. She moved the tip of the club slowly down Rainbows cyan coat. Reaching Rainbow's belly button Pinkamena looked up at the speechless Dash taking in the both the terror and confusion in her eyes. "It's for this." Pinkamena said. She swung it connecting the club against Rainbow’s bare stomach.

Rainbow let out a cry of agony as her head flung forward. The wind left her body and she gasped loudly for air. The gasping led into a coughing fit. Pinkamena waited patiently until it died down. Soon the coughing stopped and Rainbow Dash began to speak. “Pinkie I’m sorry, I didn’t mean… cough… for this to happen.” She looked desperately at the pink mare.

“I did.” replied Pinkamena swinging the jack.

“Ahhhhh!” Dash screamed as the weighted club hit her kneecap. Her head writhed around in agony and she bit down on her lip. “Mmmph” her teeth cut into lower lip as Pinkamena bopped the jack under her jaw. A few drops of blood trickled down her chin.

Pinkamena placed the Blackjack back on the tray and giggled at the sight of the suffering mare. “This is a surprise party but I still don’t think it has enough surprise for you Dashie.” She picked up a length of cloth wrapping it around Rainbow Dash’s eyes. Pinkamena paused for a moment and placed a hoof under Rainbow’s chin. She brought her muzzle close and gave Dash's lips a small lick, lapping up some of the blood from the pained mare. Rainbow Dash squirmed at the invasive touch. Pinkamena pulled her muzzle back from the fearful looking Dash. "That's not the right attitude to have Dash, you and I are going to become very... close before this is over." she said running a forehoof down Dashes cheek.

"What do you mean by that?." Dash whimpered.

"That's the least of your concerns" Pinkamena said as she turned around and slowly returned to the tray. She gripped an icepick in her foreleg and turned to Rainbow Dash. "I think you would look better with a few... piercings." Pinkamena said.

The room gave a small shake like a mini earthquake had hit it.

“Wake up!” Dash shouted.

“This isn’t a Nightscare silly your not sleeping.” Pinkamena replied.

“Wake up Pinkie!” Dash shouted.

“Dash this is rea…” Pinkamena said before being cut off.

“You’re really out of it Pinkie aren’t you? I’ll just put you to bed.”

The party room started to shake as the walls and ceiling crumbled around Pinkamena. Her tray hit the floor and the now empty table collapsed. She screamed as everything came down around her.

---

Rainbow Dash just woke up from her nap. What a great suggestion Pinkamena had, I was feeling tired. Rainbow thought. She looked across the table at her sleeping friend. “You awake she whispered?” She prodded her friend with a hoof. “Wake up! Wake up Pinkie!” she shouted. Pinkamena lay their motionless in her drug induced haze. “You’re really out of it Pinkie aren’t you? I’ll just put you to bed.” Rainbow said. She lifted the pink pony onto her back. Pinkamena was jostled back and forth as Rainbow carried her over and then lifted her onto her bed.

Pinkamena gave a soft moan.

I hope you’re not having nightscares. Rainbow Dash thought. Dash walked towards the door giving one last look to her depressed friend. She gave a small smile and allowed herself to believe things would be alright. “See you later Pinkamena.” she whispered then took off out the door.

Chapter 2

Pinkamena rummaged through the toy box in her room looking for the final touch to her ensemble. Atmosphere is important when one is doing evil deeds Pinkie told herself. Whether in her playroom with a guest or plotting that guests “invitation” everything must be planned perfectly. Set the right tone and you control the course of the event. A lesson she had learned years ago back when she threw what were considered the best parties in Ponyville. Every streamer hung, balloon floating, snack tray placed and record played helped guide the momentum of the room and separated a Pinkie Party from any old party.

“Aha!” Pinkamena exclaimed. She pulled a red cloth from her toy box and draped it around her neck. She turned to the mirror to give her outfit one last check before addressing the assembled guests. Over her head was her mighty helmet, tied around her neck and draping over her flank a flowing cape and her legs and hooves clad in black. ”Perfect!” Pinkamena chirped. She turned towards the room giving it once over. Black Streamers stemmed from the ceiling, lanterns lined the corners providing a flickering light for the room and a big banner was spread across the wall.

*The Council of One-Shot Villians*

Pinkamena approached the table setup in the center of the room. Each of the six seats occupied by one of her new henchponies. In the first stool sat Gilda the Griffon. A small Alligator wearing a fake beak with feathers glued to his hide stared at Pinkamena. The second stool sat Trixie, a Bag of Flour with a previously “donated” Horn taped on it adorned in a Wizards hat and cape. Flim and Flam looking remarkably like a ball of lint and a bucket of turnips were seated just to the left wearing flat boater hats and black bow ties. They were probably planning some new evil scam. A pile of Rocks with bullhorns was next to the brothers sitting very assertively. The last and most dangerous guest was a known terrorist who had demolished Town Hall for reasons yet unknown to Pinkamena. Pinkamena stared in admiration at the very frightened wall-eyed pegasus sitting on the final stool. her forehooves and wings tied up and her mouth gagged. She will be the one to help me do in Rainbow Dash. Pinkamena said to herself.

“Perfect.” Pinkamena cooed softly. With your help “I will soon put that infernal pegasus in her place.”

---

Derpy’s eyes shot left and right across the room taking in the very strange scene. Various inanimate objects and one baby gator were dressed up like several trouble makers that had come through town. At the center of all of this sat the towns resident nut job wearing a lampshade with eye holes cut into it, tube socks and blanket…

All I wanted was my morning breakfast. Derpy thought glumly. She had not been expecting the canvas sack shoved over her head as she exited Sugarcube Corner this morning. Her ears perked up as she heard something about putting a pegasus in her place. Derpy gave another attempt at struggling against her bonds to no avail. She shifted around helplessly as Pinkamena mimed introductions for each of the other members *clop, clop* she heard the other Mares hooves approach. Pinkamena was eye to eye with her. She felt a pink hoof press against her throat and raise up until it was under her chin.

“Well?” Pinkamena said with an annoyed tone. “Aren’t you going to introduce yourself, we are all waiting.”

“Mmmmmff, Mmmgg, Awwmff” Derpy said through her gag. *Crack* Her head swung to the side as the pink hoof collided with the side of her face. She opened her eyes slowly, it wasn’t that hard a hit but the shock cut through her.

“Speak up!” Pinkamena yelled. Derpy may be a dangerous building destroying terrorist but Pinkamena knew she had to establish herself as the leader early. She would not allow the grey mare to ignore her like this.

“MMMFFF, MMMRRRFFF, MAHHH!!!” Derpy replied.

Pinkamena looked at the gagged mare screaming at her. Suddenly cluing in she said “Oh I gagged you, how silly me”

Derpy just gave Pinkamena a deadpanned look. Derpy’s eyes widened as Pinkamena pressed her muzzle to her own. She felt Pinkamena’s teeth press lightly against her own as the pink mare bit down on the gag and pulled.

*Gasp!*

Derpy started coughing loudly do to the new volume of incoming oxygen. Her mind reeled. She immediately shoved the fact that the insane lampshade headed mare could have removed the cloth gag without locking lips to the back of her mind and focused on the situation at hoof. Derpy realized it would take all her cunning and skill to trick the unbalanced mare into letting her go. She could not give any ground; she had to be strong and confident. She couldn’t, wouldn’t let the Pinkamena see her fear. Derpy was mentally preparing herself to negotiate her release when she train of thought was interrupted.

“Derpy?” Pinkamena said with concern towards her new team mate who seemed to be focusing intently on something in her head.

Derpy’s eyes shot open and she bellowed “Please don’t kill me, I am just the Mailmare and I live alone and don’t have money for ransom so I don’t know why you would want to kidnap me because if I disappeared no one would even notice because I am so unimportant!” She took a deep breath after her unplanned panicburst.

“No one would even notice” Pinkamena mimicked with a smirk.

“Awww Feathers.” Derpy said with a look of panic.

Pinkamena had set up this little play to get Derpy to help her but the delicious terror in her eyes was just too good to pass on. Dash could wait; she had a new playmate right here who by the looks of her shivers desperately was in need of some special attention. Pinkamena walked over to Gilda / Gummy putting her arm around the Gator and said in a deep voice “This Dweeb is useless you should take care of her.”

“What a great idea Gilda.” Pinkamena replied in her own voice.

Derpy gulped loudly.

Pinkamena wrapped her right foreleg around a cake knife set out on the snack table and licked her lips at the thought of what her new guest would taste like… after some tenderizing. Pinkamena turned towards Derpy a hungry look in here eye. Suddenly a thought crossed her mind. What if this is a trick. She destroyed Town Hall publicly without being arrested; this may be a ploy to ambush me.

Derpy regaining some of her calm decided that if she was going to die it would be with dignity. She put on the most defiant glare she could muster and stared into Pinkamena’s eyes… Well one of her eyes stared into Pinkamena’s eyes. The other rolled off to the side on its own accord. My stupid eye condition won’t even let me die dignity. Derpy thought.

Pinkamena followed the bound mare’s loose eye. It was pointing at one of the Lanterns sitting next to some low hanging streamers Pinkamena had used to decorate her lair / bedroom. Next to that a tall cabinet sat near to the door. Pinkamena's smirk was replaced with a look of shock. That diabolical terrorist was obviously planning to jump over to the lantern using her unbound hind legs and light the streamers with the lantern on fire putting the whole room in flames. Worse she was going to knock over the cabinet trapping both of us in the room to die. Pinkamena was obviously staring at the most dangerous mare in Ponyville. She did the only thing she could. She lunged at Derpy.

*Slice.*

Derpy stood slack jawed as Pinkamena cut off the ropes binding her forelegs and wings. Before she could contemplate what was going on Pinkamena put a foreleg around Derpy’s shoulder and smiled as wide as she could.

“Here have some cake.” she said pushing a plate in front of Derpy. "You just let your Auntie Pinkamena Pie take care of you."

Derpy flushed, embarrassed by her over reaction. Pinkamena may not be… normal but she obviously wasn’t trying to kill me. Derpy thought. She was just cutting off the ropes. I wonder if this is what she has to do to get ponies to hang out with her since… that day. Derpy took a fork full of cake into her mouth as Pinkamena trotted towards the front of the table.

*Bang*

Pinkamena slammed her hoof onto the table. “Listen up everypony! I have a special task for all of you. You all have something against Rainbow Dash or her so called best friends.” Pinkamena said gesturing wildly. “Well now is the time for our revenge.”

Derpy looked up from her cake and started to pay attention to the ranting mare. Rainbow Dash. she thought. This is starting to get interesting… in a good way. Derpy remembered all of Dashes cruel words from when she destroyed Town Hall. Dash had complained about working with her at Applejacks Rodeo Party, every single Winter Wrap Up and any other project where she and Dash worked together.

Sure I'm a bit of a klutz but Rainbow Dash always kepes her distance like I'm poison. Silently mocking hme with her smug attitude and thinking less of me because I was blacklisted from every weather team in Equestria. I can’t even own a cloud home anymore since the time I accidentally let the clouds electric charge build up. Sure it wasn’t great that I turned my home into… What was that Newspapers headline? Oh right, Black Floating Cloud Fortress Rains Electric Death on Trottingham. But do I really deserve those mocking looks like I am less than her… Derpy thought to herself. A Pinkie Prank would be just the thing to humble Rainbow Dash.

Derpy knew the pink mare was an artist at pulling pranks. She could not wait to hear what Pinkamena had planned for the arrogant Pegasus. Perhaps some sort of pudding explosion or itching powder under her wings. Whatever Pinkamena’s plan was they would have the last laugh.

“…and once I have flayed off her hide I will use the rest of her as ingredients to bake the Cupcakes… Derpy are you listening to the plan?” Pinkamena said with an annoyed look on her face.

“Uhhh.. Sorry. I was off in my head again. What are we doing?” Derpy replied jarred out of her thoughts.

“Never mind you will learn on the way, let’s get to work. Derpy will come with me, the rest of you stay here a guard the lair.”

Derpy grabbed the stool holding Pile of Rocks with bull horns on and shook it. She mimed in a deep voice. “If anypony breaks in here, I will give them something to fear.” She then giggled at her own joke. I can see why she would find this fun. Derpy thought. Maybe Pinkamena isn’t so crazy after all.

Pinkamena looked over pleased that her new assistant had her sense of humor. Removing her Lampshade, Cape and Socks and throwing them along with most of her evil lair into the toy box she and Derpy set out.

---

-Plan A-

Derpy stared up at the Cloud Castle she knew she would never be able to own. Her old Cloud Castle that her parents had left to her when they passed was small by comparison. She had been forced out and she had to sell it to repair the damage to her old home town. A twinge of jealously shot through Derpy as she watched the beautiful rainbow waterfalls that cascaded over the sides of the Castle. Rainbow Dash was up there right now oblivious to her upcoming humiliation.

“Ok” said Pinkamena “here is what you do.“ She placed a syringe in Derpy’s mouth. “It is only 10 am so Dash should still be asleep. Just fly up there and poke her with the needle. Then carry back down and toss her in this bag.” She threw a burlap sack in front of Derpy.

This seems a little extreme. Derpy thought, but who am I to argue with a pranking genius. She eased her mind playing out what they were going to do to the pegasus. Maybe they were going to bleach her coat or ruin her mane. Derpy took off floating up towards the cloud home. Landing in front of the door she placed her ear against it. She was shocked that she could hear a faint voice and a rustling of hooves from the other side.

“Damn it, it’s cider day already. How could I oversleep again this year.” Came the voice followed by a loud…

*Bang*

The front door opened smacking Derpy and she went reeling over the edge of the cloud house her ears ringing.

“Just leave the mail in the box!” the Rainbow streak said as it whipped off into the distance.

Derpy spread her wings catching herself in her fall. She breathed a sigh of relief dropping the needle in her mouth. Oops she said as the needle fell to the ground below her. I better go tell Pinkamena. Derpy thought. Gliding to the surface she saw her partner in crime lying on the ground a needle sticking out of her back. Derpy leaned over the pink mare and asked. “Are you alright?”

“This is going to become a running gag isn’t it?” Pinkamena whispered before fading into unconsciousness.

---

Pinkamena slowly started to feel the world come into focus. She felt comfortable surrounded by blankets and pillows and something else that was pressing against her back. Her eyes darted around the dark room. The walls were water damaged and chunks of the drywall had been bashed out. She could see a door frame with no door. Inside she could make out a few kitchen appliances. Who would keep a kitchen in their bedroom? she thought. Struggling against the tranquilizer cloud floating through her brain she slowly began to turn her head. Pinkamena saw a small crooked wooden table with a mailbag on top, a single chair sat next to it. Behind the table was the bedroom door… No. Pinkamena realized. Starlight shown through a small window on the door, It's the front door. This place could barely be called a home, more like a shack.

Rainbow Dash had gotten away again and I'm stuck near paralyzed… again in some run down shack somepony called a home. Pinkamena lay their wondering how her day could get any worse. She felt the soft warm object behind her start to shift through the covers. Turning around with great difficulty she came face to face with her new cohort. Unable to move and entangled in the other sleeping mare Pinkamena realized there were worse places she could be stuck in.

The early morning sun streamed in through the windows. Derpy awoke staring into the face of her new friend beneath her. The pink mare was wearing a huge grin on her face. Derpy looked down and noticed the position she unconsciously rolled herself into. “Gah!”  She yelled jumping off the bed away from the other mare. Derpy careened into the wall and bits of drywall fell off conking her in the head.

Pinkamena giggled at the sight and said “That explains the condition of your home... How did we end up here?”

“Oh ahhh, I, umm” Derpy muttered trying to control the blush on her face. “I lived nearby so I dragged you here.”

“Well that’s another day lost to a sedative induced nap… don’t ask.” Pinkamena deadpanned sitting up on the bed.

”Lets get going I have been up for three hours.”

“Three hours… awake?” Derpy asked.

“It wasn’t that boring in fact it was educational, did you know you are a very, very heavy sleeper?” Pinkamena smirked again.

Shoving this new information to the back of her mind to keep the removing the gag thoughts company. Derpy began to make breakfast for her new friend. Well her only friend since Golden Harvest disappeared last month leaving a hastily scrawled note saying that she was moving. Not helped by the fact that she was constantly reminded of the pony after buying 10 Carrot Cakes at Sugarcube Corner. Every few weeks Sugarcube Corner had a bulk sale on a new baked good and with what few bits Derpy had to scrimp wherever she could. These bulk sales really her helped out.

“Where is the bathroom, I could use a shower?” Pinkamena yelled from the living room / bedroom.

“There is an outhouse out back, you can use the sink to clean up after I’m done cooking” Derpy replied. She heard the front door slam and sighed. The first thing Pinkamena would see walking out the door is Rainbow Dash’s Cloud Castle. Derpy thought. The same Castle I have to see every morning mocking me. All because I am a little clumsy. Because I have new debts to pay every time I crash into something. Because I am terrible at making weather and have to settle for minimum wage delivery jobs that eat up half my salary in paying for broken mailboxes. Derpy felt disgusted that Pinkamena had to see her home but there was nowhere else in dragging distance. Pranking that arrogant Rainbow Dash isn’t going to make this better, this life where no one will let me near their homes for worry of what I will damage. Where I am too ashamed to bring anyone to my shack for what they will think. I am going to this through with this prank, because it made me a friend.

---

-Plan B-

“It is simple Derpy” Pinkamena said in an annoyed tone as they approached Applejacks farm spying a long line of Ponies rounded over the hill. A year ago Pinkamena would be with them, no first of the pack already getting her twenty mugs of cider. Crossing into the apple tree field Pinkamena looked up at the sky. “All you have to do is push a Raincloud over Sweet Apple Acres. Then you bring a small storm cloud and hide inside the regular rain cloud.” Pinkamena gestured up with her foreleg.

“How will this help us get Dash?” Derpy asked.

“Rainbow Dash loves Cider so if we rain on her day she will be the first pegasus to rush up and clear it.” Pinkamena picked up one of the empty Apple barrels that littered the farm in her forelegs and stood it up right. “When she hits the storm cloud she will get shocked and fall into the barrel” Derpy gave a salute and flew off to set up the trap.

Having a pegasus on her side was quite the convenience. She briefly wondered if the terrorist pony would even stick around to help her party with Dash. Who knows she thought. I may even help Derpy with her evil deeds; I've never demolished a building before. As she thought about her new clumsy friend she noticed the sky getting darker. Pinkamena smiled devilishly at her own plan as the first drops of rain began to fall over the farm.

---

“And this is a yearly event?” Princess Luna asked as she walked alongside her sister’s apprentice.

“Yes,” replied Twilight. “It is quite a hit around here, you picked an excellent time to come for a royal tour of Ponyville. Let’s go see what Applejack is doing.”

The Princess and her guide walked past the long line of Ponies reaching a vary annoyed looking Applejack and a cyan pegasus lying on the ground with a bulging gut.

“Yah shouldn’t gorge yourself like that RD.” Applejack said with a disapproving look.

“Well without Pinkie buying up all the cider I can finally drink my fill.” replied Dash. She felt another twinge of guilt at this thought. She turned to Applejack and said “You should talk to her. She needs friends, they are the most important thing to her and we snubbed her.”

Applejack rolled her eyes. “Weren’t you the one in a panic yellin about her goin mad?” said Applejack.

“I was wrong okay, Pinkie’s always been eccentric and well she is… I guess a little more… you know... but she was our friend for a long time.” Dash said. “Just think about it.”

I dun know RD I guess I could” Applejack started but was soon cut herself off as she noticed site of the princess approaching. Applejack bowed and said “Your Majasty.” Rainbow Dash tried to get up but only managed to roll over and belch earning another annoyed look from applejack and every other pony in earshot.

Luna laughed at the boated Rainbow Dash's display then turned towards Twilight. “I guess you weren’t kidding about the Cider.”

*Drop…… drop… drop, drop, drop.*

The Derpy induced rain cloud glided over the Cider stand soaking the ponies in line. Applejack looked up at the clouds with an angry look. “Rainbow Dash I paid good money for a guaranteed clear day. What in tarnation is goin on?”

“Don’t look at me, it’s my day off. I am not responsible for all the weather in Ponyville!” Rainbow Dash shouted defensively.

“Look whatever. Can you clear it up for me?” Applejack said in a defeated tone.

Rainbow Dash fluttered off the ground before succumbing to the mix of gravity and six litters of cider. She groaned and shook her head.

Applejack facehoofed at the sight of the disabled mare lying in a heap. Ponies were already starting to leave. “Is there a pegasus  who can clear these clouds for me?!” Applejack bellowed.

The princess stepped forward. “We shall do it. We haven’t pushed a cloud in over one thousand years.” Luna said with a look of delight. "What fun!"

Before anypony could object her powerful Alicorn wings flung her to the sky.

---

*BANG!!!*

Pinkamena jumped for joy as light flashed across the sky. Rainbow Dash had sprung her trap. She watched a pony fall out of the sky and hit her barrel. “I can finally put a lid on all of this.” Pinkamena exclaimed walking towards the barrel with Derpy hovering just behind her.

Derpy’s eyes widened in horror at the sight of the fallen princess Luna crumpled in the barrel. She was just beginning to stir.

“Umm… Pinkamena what do we do.” Derpy said turning her head to the side.

Neither the Pinkamena shaped dust cloud nor the bright pink blur extending over the hill responded. Derpy followed her friend’s example flying off fast as she could. In the distance a loud shouting filled the air.

---

Derpy and Pinkamena stood in front of Sugarcube Corner. So far no pony had come after us. Derpy looked over at Pinkamena and said. “So what now.”

“We wait it out until the heats off. There will be other chances to capture Dash. Don’t worry she will get her just desserts..." Pinkamena replied "Well be baked into them really.” Pinkamena winked. “See ya later Derpy” Pinkamena said walking into Sugarcube Corner shutting the door leaving a stunned Derpy behind.

Pinkamena pulled up the trap door in the basement descending into her “V.I.P” Party Room. She trotted over to her work bench opening up her journal and turning to the index. Running her hoof down the page she came to the name she was looking for. Dumping the party hat on the table she sifted through the numbers. Finding the number she was looking for she held it in her hoof. *69* Derpy’s number. Pinkamena giggled at the obvious joke. The number looked like a pair of cross eyes. She lit her kerosene torch and placed it above a small container of ashes containing the numbers of the seven ponies she had partied with, the entire Cake family and the owner of the local hardware store.  She dropped the number through the flame the ashes landing in the container.

Pinkamena sighed. She had a friend again and she didn’t know how to feel.

---

Derpy lay on floor of her shack staring at the cracked ceiling. Her mind was racing as she desperately tried to deny or spin what she had heard. Her day with Pinkamena had been the best one in years. It was a day where she didn’t focus only on her petty jealousies of the more well off ponies in town. A day where she really talked to somepony instead of just a polite hello. A day where somepony treated her like an equal instead of the mentally retarded klutz everypony thought she was.

What should I do? Derpy thought.

Chapter 3, Part 1

***********************************************************************************

Warning: Chapter contains violent scenes. A warning is placed before and after the Cupcakes scene. It is not essential to the story.

************************************************************************************

Pinkamena burst through the door to her room, a bag in her hooves and a small box on her back. She ran up to the small Alligator on her bed, “It’s here, it’s here!” she squealed with delight. The Alligator stared quietly in contrast to the pink pony’s hyper glee as she dropped the bag on the ground and threw the box on the bed. She turned to the gator and said

“Take a look Gummy it was just delivered.” scooping up the gator in hooves and shoving his snout against the box. Pinkamena ripped the tape from the box and flung it open; her eyes went wide with excitement.

Inside the box were a crown, necklace and 4 shoes painted gold. Low end gems lined the edges of the crown, necklace and sat on the buckles of the shoes. Only an appraiser could tell the difference between these and those worn by the royalty. Pinkamena stared at her new crown in with awe and began stroking it with her fore hoof. Placing it between her two fore hooves she walked on her hind legs over to the table in the center of her room where her 4 inanimate imaginary friends sat.

“I now crown myself Pinkamena Diane Pie, Party Princess of Ponyville” she said in a regal tone. She placed the crown upon her head listening to imagined thunderous applause of her four subjects.

“All Hail Pinkamena” Sir Lintsalot said.

Pinkamena began to put together her new outfit. She lowered her head and moved aside her hair wrapping the necklace around her bare neck; she then placed a gold shoe on each one of her hooves. Now for the final touch she thought. Smirking she turned the burlap sack on her floor. Opening it she pulled out a pink belt with a pair of pegasus wings stitched on it and a unicorns horn glued to a pink strap. The wings were from the only Pegasus she had gotten yet, Cloud Kicker’s feathers had been dyed Pinkamena pink. The Horn was from Pokey Peirce and the blue color painted to also match her coat. Stepping in front of the Mirror Pinkamena admired her new self.

To be a Princess, loved… no adored and respected. Everypony would want to be near me, speak with me and even fight over my time. Just to see me walk down a street would be an event to write their family about, instead of muttering an insult and moving away like I am diseased. Pinkamena dreamed staring at her reflection. My Palace filled with statues, ornaments and chandeliers of real gold and jewels. She ran a hoof over her fake necklace. A massive ballroom filled with guests, not just nobility but anypony. Hundreds of rooms for her guests, her parties could go on for days. Finally her own dungeon with all the latest and best designed equipment for her private parties, not a cramped dirty little subbasement with tools bought from a hardware store. Pinkamena sat in front of her mirror the thoughts of what she lost, what she wanted and what she could never have floated through her head.

“You’ll all see me tomorrow. They can call me crazy and avoid me every day but tomorrow they will be in awe. For just one day I will be a Princess and they will have to look at me.” Pinkamena said placing a hoof on her mirror. “Happy Nightmare Night Princess Pinkamena.” she whispered.

The door to Pinkamena’s room slowly opened behind her.

---

Rainbow Dash was sitting in the lobby of the Spa preparing for her appointment. “Are you sure this will wash out?” Rainbow Dash asked staring at the small multi-colored bottles.

Lotus casually looked over from behind her desk. “After a couple of washes it should come out.” she replied uninterested. She returned to flipping through her magazine.

Rainbow sighed. “Here goes.” she said stepping into the back of the spa.

---

Mr. Cake stared at the mare he considered his step daughter. He could barely believe his eyes as he watched her prance in front of her mirror. Her costume was so amazingly detailed that if he hadn’t known Pinkamena he could swear that she really was a winged unicorn princess.

“I have no time for you serfs, I have royal business to attend too” Pinkamena said sticking her nose up to her imaginary friends.

“I’m glad cleaning counter tops is a priority of nobility Princess.” Mr. Cake deadpanned. “Your break ended 5 minutes ago.” Pinkamena apologized to her boss rushing down the stairs. Mr. Cake shook his head walking over to the pile of rocks. “Sometimes her antics just leave you speechless huh.” The pile of rocks sat silent. “You understand.” Mr. Cakes said chuckling to himself as he started to put away Pinkamena’s “friends.”

---

Pinkamena placed a batch of muffins into the oven. Regular muffins, flour, sugar, water, eggs and so on. She had long since run out of usable special ingredients. That special joy she got as ponies walk out of her shop with their “friends” was lost for now. The cyan pegasus was proving to be a bigger problem than she had anticipated. Two months since her last guest and three weeks since she had pulled the Dash’s number. It was going to be my greatest party yet and I can’t start it. What kind of party pony am I. she thought. I could have had this done if I hadn’t wasted so much time building the twenty meter tall steam powered rocket assisted take off Pinkamenapult. The plan to scoop Dash right out of the sky had fallen apart when somepony reported the device to the authorities and she had to sit through a three hour lecture on why it is a bad idea to construct a siege weapon in her back yard. On the other hoof the royal pegasus guards can now intercept targets at Mach 0.85.

“Pinkamena dear do you have minute?” Mrs. Cake asked.

Pinkamena looked over at Mrs. Cake. ”What do need?” she replied.

“Doing dishes is beneath the work of a princess” Mrs. Cake said taking note of the costume. “I have a customer coming in I would like you to handle.”

“Why? Did this customer do something piss you off or something?” Pinkamena said dryly.

Mrs. Cake sighed. “No she is new in town you could make a good impression on her.”

“I am sure we will bestest friends forever. Forever of course means until the next pony she talks to about me.” Pinkamena said dismissively.

“You can’t give up; you waste away in your room or hiding in that storage room. You have to keep trying.” Mrs. Cake pleaded.

“I don’t have to do anything, it’s my life. I work and I pay my rent. You don’t get a say.” Pinkamena said getting angry.

“I promise I won’t get involved” Mrs. Cake said with a smile.

“Good, I’ll just stay back here and…” Pinkamena started.

“Oh no, you work here so get out there and do your job so you can pay your rent. Remember to be nice and smile your representing the shop.” Mrs. Cake said smugly.

Pinkamena’s eye twitched and she put on crooked smile.

“Perfect, get out there.” Mrs. Cake said giggling.

---

Rainbow Dash was shocked. Her coat was yellow, her hair black and grey. A Compass painted over her Cutie Mark. She looked just like Daring Do. She had all the accessories at home, the Hat, the Vest, and even a bandage to wrap one of her wings in. Ever since becoming obsessed with the series she wanted to be like her new hero. Now she was and loving every minute of it.

Rainbow Dash turned to Aloe “What are you going to be this Nightmare Night?” She asked.

Aloe gave a look of indifference. “I think I am a little old to be asking about thee candy.”  she replied. “If there was a good party to go to then maybe I vill get dressed up.”

Then it hit Rainbow Dash. Maybe ponies will go to a Pinkie Party on Nightmare Night. Ponyville has been without any real parties for months. A holiday is just what’s needed to motivate them into giving Pinkamena another chance. Rainbow thought excitedly.

---

Pinkamena stood in the storefront awaiting the customer. The pony ordered 10 boxes of Cupcakes . What pony would have this big a sweet tooth. Pinkamena thought. I bet she is fat… At that moment the front door opened.

A small unicorn walked in. White coated with red hair that had a blue streak down it. Her cutiemark was several stars surrounding a moon. “Hi I’m Moondancer” she said. “Is my order ready yet?”

“It will about 5 minutes.” Pinkamena said curtly. An awkward silence carried on for about a minute before Moondancer decised to break it and spoke.

“Nice costume, I used to know the princess.” Moondancer said. “I was a student at her school.”

“So why would you move to Ponyville?“  Pinkamena asked politely feigning interest.

“I am here to replace the teacher who abruptly retired.” Moondancer answered. “It was very irresponsible of her to just leave a couple of days before a field trip with no notice. I feel bad that the children missed out on seeing the Royal Sculpture Gardens. Anyway I’m here in Ponyville to take over teaching, and I am here in Sugarcube Corner to buy my students love. It has been almost a year since and I am sure their substitute is doing okay; Miss Bon Bon or something but the children need a real teacher… ”

Pinkamena was lost in her mind from the moment Moondancer said that she was here to replace Cheerilee. She had broken the quickest in only twenty minutes. She played with what was left for about one and a half hours. Cheerilee was the second pony grabbed and unlike most of the others she made especially sure that her party games were well suited for a teacher.

“…Because I am sure Cheerilee was an amazing teacher before she left so I have some pretty big horseshoes to fill.” Pinkamena heard Moondancer finish as she forced herself back from the memories of her party games.

“She wasn’t that good of a teacher.” Pinkamena said flatly. ”She was never any good with numbers, especially her multiplication tables.”

“Numbers are my specialty.” Moondancer smiled. “I love math.”

“Mine too.” Pinkamena said. “You’re the 796th Pony in to live Ponyville since one year ago.”

Mrs. Cake walked into the room carrying a few boxes of Cupcakes. “Here’s your order, the rest are in back. Pinkamena your shift is about over.” Mrs. Cake said.

“It was nice meeting you Moondancer” Pinkamena said walking away.

Pinkamena opened the door to the unused storage room. Locking it behind her she climbed down the stairs. She pulled up the carpet in the corner where a trap door sat that led to her secret subbasement. Pinkamena pulled it open and descended into her play room. It took her months to dig out this little piece of heaven but she had the time. At first she came to the storage room to rage out and beat the walls, than she started digging. She never would have guessed it would turn into this.

Pinkamena lay down upon her table and let her mind drift. She was bad at multiplication.

**************************************************************************************************

---

Cheerilee stood in front of Pinkamena, her fore hooves bound tight above her head in chains, her hind hooves barely scraping the ground as she hung. A large apple was jammed in her gagging her.

“Cheerilee you’re a good teacher right? I want you to teach me all about pony anatomy.” Pinkamena said with a smirk. Cheerilee shook her head from side to side. “Is that a no? Are you saying you are not a good teacher? I have heard so many good things though.” Pinkamena said in mock sadness. “I know, I will test your knowledge!” she chirped. “If you fail… You will never teach again.” Pinkamena’s tone had a hint hint of her cruelty.

“Mmmmphh, Mmmmph!” Cheerilee squealed through her gag.

Pinkamena picked a knife off her tray table with her mouth and turned towards Cheerilee. “I can’t hear a word your saying, that won’t do at all.” Pinkamena said approaching Cheerilee. Cheerilee kicked her hind hooves at Pinkamena who brushed them aside getting in between the flailing limbs. Pinkamena placed her fore hooves on Cheerilees cutie mark and nuzzled her chest. She could feel Cherrilee start to writhe at the intimate touch. She was becoming really uncomfortable, loosing what little mental balance she had. Her gagged mumbling increased as Pinkamena placed her fore hooves on Cheerilee’s shoulders and raised herself up to stare in her eyes. Cheerilee became quite as the knife in Pinkamen's mouth came into view and Pinkamena stood muzzle to muzzle with her.

Pinkamena brushed the blade by her ear and whispered. “I’ve been speaking to you the whole time and you haven’t said a word. I even gave you an apple Miss Cheerilee and you didn’t even say thank you. ” Pinkamena’s knifed brushed her ear again slower. “If you’re not going to say anything maybe you don’t need to hear anything.” Cheerilee started shaking wildly, her hind hooves stated kicking air again desperately, her head bobbed all over the place as she screamed at the top of her lungs through the apple. Pinkamena twisted the knife in her mouth with her tongue taking in the handle, the blade faced outward. Watching Cheerilee’s head bob about waited for just the right moment.

*Slice*

Pinkamena stabbed deep into the apple. Cheerilee went still staring into the mare’s eyes as she slowly pushed the knife through the apple into her mouth until their noses touched. Cheerilee started to gag as the knife was moved around slicing the apple and breaking pieces as it was twisted. The blade touched lightly against the sides of Cheerilee’s checks, tongue and teeth, she would have been cut if she hadn’t been too stunned with fear to move. Their eyes inches apart Pinkamena drank in sight of terrified mare. Eventually she pulled the knife from the sliced and mushed apple and flung her head back letting the blade fly to the floor behind her. A few bits of the apple fell from Cheerilee’s mouth to the floor before Pinkamena’s hoof pressed under her chin shutting it. “Don’t make a mess of my floor.” Pinkamena said angrily, "I have to clean that." Pinkamena pressed her other hoof over Cheerilee’s nostrils. “Swallow it” Pinkamena said with a smirk. Pinkamena watched the mare choke for a second before she forced the food down fighting against her gag reflex.

“Did you enjoy the apple? Are you going to say thank you?” Pinkamena asked with a smile. Cheerilee stayed silent a pained look on her face. “I hope you speak more during the test” Pinkamena said.

Pinkamena took a bandage from the tray and walked around behind Cheerilee. She tied it around the mare’s head covering Cheerilee’s eyes. Pinkamena then grabbed Cheerilee’s free hind legs and bound them together with wire. Cheerilee stayed silent as her captor worked unwilling to give her the satisfaction. Pinkamena walked in front of Cheerilee and pulled a piece of paper from her tray table. “Let’s start testing you with math. We’ll practice your Multiplication tables. If you don’t answer the question right Miss Cheerilee you get a penalty.” Pinkamena said in a cheery tone with a hint of menace. “You get ten seconds to answer.”

“Question #1 what is 4 x 6?” Pinkamena asked.

“Why are you doing this?” Cheerilee cried.

“5 Seconds” Pinkamena replied. “4, 3, 2.”

“24” Cheerilee whispered.

“Good, question #2, 8 x 9” Pinkamena said.

Cheerilee sat quite for 4 seconds before saying. “72.”

Pinkamena smiled. “See Miss Cheerilee, you are a good teacher. You can do this. 9 x 3 x12”

At 9 seconds Cheerilee blurted out. “324”

“See right again 6 x 12 x7 x3” Pinkamena said. She started counting 10, 9, 8 ,7, 6, 5, 4, 3 ,2"

“It’s 15…” Cheerilee started.

“Times Up!” Pinkamena yelled with glee. She ran her right fore hoof over the wire that tied Cheerilee’s hind legs and led back to her tray. Reaching the end of the wire she ran her hoof up the battery. Pinkamena flipped the switch and watched Cheerilee seize up.

“Eeerrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeaaaaahhhhh!” Cheerilee’s teeth were clenched and her whole body squirmed involuntarily. After 5 seconds the juice was cut and she relaxed. “What the hell did you do to me?!” she screamed turning her head in every direction as if trying to see something through the blindfold.

“Question #4, 6 x 5 x 4 x7 x4” Pinkamena said in a calm voice.

“No!” Cheerilee screamed. “Stop please! Stop It! Just…”

“4, 3, 2, 1 Oops that’s another penalty Miss Cheerilee.” She hit the switch and watched her dangle like a worm as she tried to scream through a clamped jaw for 10 seconds.

“Question #5” Pinkamena said.

“Wait! Wait please I am terrible at Multiplication, I give up.” Cheerilee begged.

“Don’t give up Miss Cheerilee. You only learn through practice” Pinkamena replied, “You only have 6 more questions.”

Each one of the six questions was impossibly longer than the one before. Cheerilee got all six answers wrong or timed out and Cheerilee received a 10 second shock for each one except for the last two. Pinkamena held them for 20 and 30 seconds. Cheerilee hung limp, her chest heaving and smoke rising from her coat.  Bits of apple mush sat on her muzzle and were caked up her nose after she vomited. Her hind legs were soaked in urine. The heavy convulsions wrenching control of her bodily functions. Cheerilee felt more humiliated than ever before but the fear made it a hoof note in comparison. Pinkamena could hear her quite sobbing, the soft afterglow of Cherilee’s earlier more and more desperate begging.

“Please, I want to go home. I want to go back to school.” Cheerilee whispered.

Pinkamena placed a comforting hoof on her shoulder and nuzzled her check. ”You can go home.” She whispered. “You just pass a few more tests.” Pinkamena placed her hoof softly under Cheerilee’s throat and trailed down her body stopping at her stomach “Perhaps if some of your students were here to cheer you on you would do better. Then again I would have to share my attention with them.” The bait worked perfectly, Pinkamena watched Cheerilee’s body shake with rage.

“You Bucking Bitch Don’t You Lay One Hoof On Them!” Cheerilee screeched.

“Since when is foal language like that considered appropriate? What do you do with your students when they speak like this?” Pinkamena mocked. “I heard you like to wrap there hooves with a ruler.”

Pinkamena walked to her tray and placed a thick oven glove over her hoof. On a stand sat a steel ruler with the flames of Pinkamena’s kerosene torch licking the upper half turning the steel bright red. Picking up the ruler from the lower half she could feel the heat through the thick glove. She turned towards her captive.

On her hinds Pinkamena stood face to face with the shivering mare and pulled off the blindfold with her teeth. Pinkamena dropped to three legs and held the scalding ruler next to where Cheerilee’s left hind hoof met her hind leg. Cheerilee’s eyes turned to the red hot ruler. “Twenty smacks for swearing.” Pinkamena said in a sing song voice. She pulled back the ruler slowly to strike.

It was at that moment Pinkamena saw in Cheerilee’s eyes that she had broken. She screamed and she sobbed but she never spoke another word. She just muttered incoherently through the sobs and screams. Pinkamena could play no more mind games or have any more tests with her. Not a word while she was beaten, raped or even through the dissection.

Pinkamena lay on her table Cloud Kickers wings splayed over the edges. What a pathetic excuse for a teacher. She thought. Pinkamena finished her reliving the memory and trotted over to her work bench. Pinkmena took a pencil in her mouth and scribbled a number on a scrap of paper. She then wrote down the number and a name in her book. “Welcome to Ponyville Moondancer.” Pinkamena said throwing the scrap of paper into her Party Hat.

Pinkamena took a look around the room. “Soon it will be you turn here Rainbow Dash... I hope you last longer”

---

Rainbow Dash glided over the town square looking down on all the residents below as they put up Nightmare Night decorations in preparations for tomorrow. Holidays in Ponyville just haven’t been the same since Pinkie Pie was shunned. She was the one who organized everything from the Holiday Party to the night time Festivals in the streets and finally the After Party.  Everypony was quick to point out how silly or stupid Pinkie Parties were, now never buying balloons, cakes or streamers for their own parties except for the youngest of Foals. Hypocrites, this town hasn’t been excited been for a holiday or party in a year.

It had been weeks since Rainbow Dash had seen Pinkamena, not that she hadn’t tried. Every time she visited Sugarcube Corner she had been informed that Pinkamena was too busy building a giant catapult thing in her backyard and the Cakes said she told them that no pony should bother her. She had tried many times to find time. Even when she was sick, too weak to run and could barely fly the Cakes turned her away. The time when she was so drunk she could barely stand, the Cakes turned her away. The time when she crash landed and could only stumble around in circles, the Cakes turned her away. Pinkamena made it very clear that no pony was to disturb her important work. Rainbow Dash never figured out what that odd device was for. Some of the royal guards had hauled it away so she had her opening.

Rainbow Dash landed outside Sugarcube Corner. Stepping through the door she spotted Mr. Cake at the counter.

“Daring Do?!” Mr. Cake exclaimed in surprise.

“No it’s me Rainbow Dash. Is Pinkie… I mean Pinkamena in?” Dash asked.

“Sorry she is having her… alone time in the empty storage room.” Mr. Cake said with a disappointed look on his face. “She is spending more and more time there.”

“Okay, sure I will come back later.” Rainbow Dash said with a big smile.

When Mr. Cake turned to serve another customer Rainbow Dash bolted down the hallway to the storage basement. Yeah Right. Not this time, this time I'm gonna get through to Pinkamena. By this time tomorrow Pinkamena the Party Pony would be back and if I’m really lucky so would her nickname. Rainbow Dash thought reaching the door. As she tried to open she found that it was locked. Dash pulled a pin from her hair and got to work at picking the lock. Being former friends with Gilda had some advantages. The lock wasn’t much harder than the ones at Junior Speedsters, the tumbler clicked over and she was in. Rainbow Dash stepped down the stairs into the storage basement and… nothing. It was empty. Now was not the time to give up, Rainbow Dash was going to wait right here for Pinkamena. Rainbow Dash started pacing around the room in boredom.

*Clunk*

"What was that?” Rainbow Dash asked herself. She stomped her hoof again. “It’s Hollow.” Dash exclaimed. Rainbow looked around the hollow area finding the carpet loose in the corners. She griped the edge in her teeth and pulled. Beneath the carpet was a trap door. “Wow just like a Daring Do novel!” she pulled open the door and made her way down the stairs. Reaching the bottom of the stairs she saw Pinkamena lying on a dark table in the center of the room illuminated by a single candle. Rainbow hoofed around finding the light switch.

“Oh my god!” she exclaimed clicking the switch. The table Pinkamena was lying on had gears beneath it to raise and lower its incline. There were unfastened straps where the fore legs, hind legs, chest neck and head would be. A large tray sat beside the table filled with tools. In the corner a pile of bones sitting beside a drain tub stained with blood. A few poorly made attempts at sewing pony hide into clothing hung on the wall. A small table and stool with a teapot and cup on it sat in the corner. The table and stool legs were made out of pony bones. Preserved entrails hung from above and what looked to be deflated organ balloons sat next to a can of helium. A chain hung from the center of the room with 3 painted pony skulls attached to it. Finally a work bench plastered with paper with creepy scrawled drawings and hastily written notes. The walls surrounding the bench were covered in marker scrawl and blood. In the center of it all was Pinkamena wearing pegasus wings on here back and a unicorn horn on her head.

---

Well buck me I’m dead. Pinkamena thought as she was confronted by the horrified stair of Rainbow Dash in some sort of... safari costume. Pinkamena looked to her left staring at her trey table with all her knives. It was a good eight feet away. Pinkamena’s mind wandered to the time she saw Dash ram right through a brick wall nearly unharmed. She had to try though.

Rainbow Dash started slowly pacing towards her. “I knew it!” Dash yelled pointing a hoof at Pinkamena. “I knew it!”

Now or never Pinkamena thought. She sat up, coiled herself and prepared to jump. Suddenly a Rainbow blur slammed into her. She felt the muscular fore leg wrap around her neck. This is it. Pinkamena thought.

“I knew you couldn’t stop trying to throw parties. Look at this room, it’s soooo creepy. This will be your scariest Nightmare Night Party ever. Better than the one you threw that had all the plastic skulls and bats. Even your costume is amazing, like a real Princess.” Rainbow Dash said excitedly.

Pinkamina’s eyes slowly derped. “I’m sorry Pinkamena’s brain is not in at the moment. If you would like to leave your name and address she will get back to you as soon as possible” Pinkamena monotoned. Inside her head Pinkamena desperately tried to figure out what was going on.

“This party room looks just like what some cannibalistic serial killers lair would look like.” Dash exclaimed as she fluttered around poking various objects.

Pinkamena’s higher brain function slowly clicked back in as her situational awareness returned. “Yup, it’s a Party Room all right.” Pinkamena chuckled nervously. ”I made it for Nightmare Night but no pony comes to my parties so we might as well forget it.”

“No way, that’s why I am here!” Dash exclaimed. “I will put my name on the invitation too. A Nightmare Night Party by Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash. I am sure lots of ponies will come.”

“I haven’t even made invitations.” Pinkamena said biting at straws.

“I will stop by the print shop right now and then go mail them out. My contribution to the party. You will see, by tomorrow this room will be crawling with ponies.” Rainbow Dash brought here right fore leg up in a salute and three seconds later she had already cleared the front door of Sugarcube Corner as Pinkamena’s protests fell on the empty room.

Pinkamena collapsed onto the floor. “What are the chances everypony who attends will be as stupid as Rainbow Dash” Pinkamena muttered looking around the very obvious torture chamber.

Pinkamena's Idea’s to stop the party list.

* Pretend to be sick.  – Dash might still throw the party.

* Set fire to the building.  – The Cakes are like family.

* Kill Self.  – I’m a coward.

* Kill Everyone Else.  – In progress, not going to rush it.

* Chocolate Pudding.  – Need it in case I ever get into politics.

* Blame it on a Split Personality.  – Overdone.

* Catapult.  – Stupid Royal Guards

* Stop the Invitations from getting out – …

Pinkamena stared at the  list she had written about idea's to stop the party. Morning was fast approaching and if she didn’t stop her party her hobby would be outed to the whole town. The whole of Equestria would know what she was. Pinkamena had always meant for this to happen eventually but not yet. Her will had journals listing in detail what she had… accomplished. They told how long each victim lasted before the party ended, what was done to them, what they said, how they looked and who bought and ate their baked goods. She wasn’t finished yet, seven wasn’t enough to leave the mark she wanted.

Three years ago Pinkamena had stolen a book from the Hoofington Library. It was her favorite book, a list of what few serial killers existed in Equestrian history. She had obsessed over it in secret for years while her old friends had been none the wiser. None of the subjects in the book had accomplished what she had; the horror of her party games, but a few others had more victims. Pinkamena wanted to be the best in every way possible, in the next book she would be the star.

Her goals not yet reached Pinkamena sighed at her coming fate. There has to be something I can do. She turned her attention to the last item on her list. * Stop the Invitations. It was a long shot but Pinkamena wasn’t about to throw in the towel yet. Morning was here and she had to act fast.

Luckily she knew just where to go to get what she needed.

*Beep, beep, beep*

Derpy’s eyes slowly opened. Another day another… umm… nothing. Derpy thought. She stared around her hovel. Nightmare Night, there would be a small street festival she could go too. She could stand around in the background and watch other ponies talk and chat about whatever they have going on. This was the closed thing she had to friends, these crowds of ponies she appeared in the back of. She rolled out of bed onto the floor and walked towards the kitchen sink to bathe for the day. Maybe I will comb my mane. She thought. Who knows, maybe I will meet somepony at the festival.

But you did meet somepony. That back part of her brain interjected. Derpy for the five hundredth time tried to force down the all too familiar thoughts of the crazy pink mare that wouldn’t leave her mind. She saw her on the street once and a while and she always gave Derpy a smile or a wave. That was more attention than she had gotten from anypony else in a long time. It was last week that all her fears were confirmed though. It was last week she almost died. Derpy thought back to that day.

--- Flashback ---

Derpy was walking down the Ponyville main road eying the different shops and restaurants.  Nothing she could afford on her budget if her breakfast of dry crackers and something that was labeled almost peanut butter bought from the 1 bit store were any indication. That is when she spotted her across the street walking through the shadows wearing saddle bags. She hadn’t spoken to Pinkamena for a week since accidentally knocking Princess Luna out of the sky. Pinkamena smiled when she spotted her and slowly made her way over.

“What are you up to today Derpy?” she asked as she crossed in front of Derpy.

“I am just on my lunch break.” Derpy replied just glad that she had someone to talk too.

“No lunch bag so where are you gonna eat?” Pinkamena asked looking at the restaurants around them.

“Umm… ahhh.” Derpy stuttered before pointing to the nearest one. To her horror she had pointed to the fanciest restaurant in Ponyville.

“Good choice.” Pinkamena said. “You have expensive tastes. You’ll just have to treat Me.” she said with a cruel smirk. Derpy felt Pinkamena's eyes bore into her as she shrunk before the gaze of the pink mare. “Come on.” she said as she nudged the grey pegasus towards the restaurant. “Table for two” she said to the Maitre D’. She turned her head to the now terrified grey pegasus and gave a bigger smirk than Derpy thought possible. “ It's on me.” she said. Pinkamena slowly leaned in close to Derpy’s ear and whispered. “You’d just end up breaking all the dishes they’d make you do to pay for it.” before walking into the restaurant.

Derpy mentally kicked herself as she followed her “friend?” to their table. Derpy gingerly picked up the menu and leafed through it as the waiter approached. “What should I get?” she asked.

“Anything.” Pinkamena said looking uninterested as her eyes passed over her menu.

Derpy smiled as her eyes fell on the most expensive thing. That would get Pinkamena back for embarrassing her. “Seven-layer salad please.”

“I’ll have the same.” Pinkamena said nonchalantly. Derpy noticed how elegant the pink mare looked with the calm smile on her face, her even tone of voice and smooth movements. Her mane fell perfectly around her face not a hair out of place. Derpy had seen Pinkamena before her change bouncing around like a frizzy hyper child. Now she could not help but notice how elegant she could be. Derpy felt herself blush at this. The waiter turned to her.

The waiter gave the scruffy blond a condescending look. “We don’t see many mares of your… status around here. Is it a special occasion for you?” he asked with a faux smile.

“No just lunch.” Derpy replied sheepishly.

“Well you’re lucky to have such a charitable friend covering you.” the waiter replied. “Can I get you wine menu?”

“No she’s flying.” Pinkamena said pointing to the small mailbag next to Derpy. “Somepony has to deliver your minimum wage checks.” Pinkamena said. As the waiter walked off in a huff Derpy just sat in stunned silence. “This place is usually too expensive for me eat here to.” Pinkamena said winking.

Derpy pushed the salad around her plate forcing herself to take small bites instead of stuffing her face. It was the most delicious meal she ever tasted but as she stared across the table watching Pinkamena eat she couldn’t help but feel self-conscious of what the pink mare across from her thought. No matter how hard she tried she couldn’t figure her out, Pinkamena baited her and mocked her then humiliated the waiter that tried to do the same. Now Pinkamena was staring at her intently as she ate with a little smile on her face. Derpy just could not figure it out. Pinkamena’s silent gaze caused Derpy to squirm, she had been quite since the food arrived just watching her, Derpy tried to find anything to break the tension.

“H… how have you been Pinkamena?” Derpy asked.

"I've been busy.” Pinkamena replied pointing to her saddle bag. Some construction equipment was sticking out of it. “I am building something to finally catch that damned rainbow blur.”

“Oh!” Derpy said looking uncomfortable. “What are you building?”

“It’s giant catapult and a rocket pack that will shoot me up into the sky. I will snatch her right out of the air.” Pinkamena said with a childish smile.

Derpy rolled her eyes for a second before hearing Pinkamena giggle. She brought her fore hooves to cover her eyes forgetting that when tried to roll them they just googled around instead. “That’s insane, you’ll end up killing yourself Derpy said from behind her hooves.”

“Most ponies have this thing called depth perception. I understand if you’ve never heard of it.” Pinkamena said haughtily.

Derpy ignored the obvious shot and muttered. “You’re gonna end up splattered. Anyway why are you still trying to capture Rainbow Dash? What are you going to do with her?” Derpy’s clenched knowing she would not like the answer she had gone out of her way not to confirm.

Pinkamena looked confused for a moment before smiling. “I’ve run out of special ingredients to bake with of course.”  Pinkamena said slowly watching Derpy’s reaction. “You will be buying some more of my special snacks won’t you? You buy them every month.”

Derpy tried to keep the unease off her face. Pinkamena had told her what she was doing because she thought Derpy was some sort of violent terrorist who purposely destroyed the townhall and not the clumsy pony she is who accidentally destroyed it. “Of course I will.” Derpy responded with a nervous look on her face. Pinkamena narrowed her eyes at the mare with an angry look creeping on her face. Derpy knew the game was up “I’m not a terrorist.” she whispered.

“What?!” Pinkamena spat.

“I’m just clumsy!” Derpy yelled. “I was helping put up banners and right there was a cloud. I’m not allowed to live in a cloud home or work on the weather team so I just pretended. I jumped on it and it was a storm cloud and the lightning wrecked the roof. I then crashed into a pillar and everything just sort of crumbled.”

Pinkamena looked dumbstruck. “Are you sure it wasn’t a statement about being overtaxed or town hall a puppet government of the monarchy?” she asked?

“Umm… No. I am just really clumsy.” Derpy replied.

Pinkamena sat there shocked that the mare she had confided her dark secret was just a normal mare and not a soulless killer. “I think I should go.” Pinkamena said failing to keep the menace out of her voice.

“Wait.” Derpy said standing up. “I haven’t told anypony.”

“Come with me Derpy, we’ll talk about this back at Sugarcube Corner” Pinkamena said uneasily whilst she threw a bag of bits on their table to pay for their half finished meal.

As the pair walked in silence towards Sugarcube Corner every nerve in Derpy’s body told her to fly away. Her four knee’s shook together and her breathing was rapid. They crossed the threshold and walked down the hall turning into a room and down a set of stairs. Standing in an empty storage room Pinkamena turned to Derpy and said “Wait here.” Pinkamena then walked back up the stairs. Derpy stood alone in the empty room wondering what would happen to her. When Pinkamena returned she had a small cake on her back and a knife in her mouth. She placed the cake in front of Derpy.

“You remember Golden Harvest don’t you?” Pinkamena said with an uneven smile on her face. “I have seen you two about a few times.”

Derpy’s stomach dropped as she looked to the piece of Carrot Cake on the floor. “That… that cake is made from her isn’t it?” Derpy whispered.

“Yes.” Pinkamena replied. “You can eat her and walk out that door free like we never met. Or you can stay here and be made into baked goods.”

If I eat that she won’t let me go. Derpy thought. She will kill me no matter what I do. Derpy looked over to door Pinkamena was standing in front of. I could try to fight my way out… but I am a terrible fighter. Derpy turned back to the cake. There is a chance she is telling the truth and will let me go… Where? That voice in the back of her mind spoke up. Your parents are dead, you don’t have any family and you’ve never even really been kissed let alone had a date. The only friend who wasn't really a friend you ever had is a piece of cake, a piece of cake that never hung around you when her real friends were around. You live in a rundown shack with no money, no friends and no life.

Derpy took the cake in her fore hooves and shoved it into her mouth swallowing it whole. She gagged as she pushed it past her tongue trying not to taste any of it.

“You can go now.” Pinkamena said, her trademark smirk growing around the handle of the knife in her mouth. She gestured towards the stairs with her fore hoof.

“No!” Derpy yelled.

“What?” Pinkamena said with a look of shock.

“I said no. I have nothing in my life, you’re my only friend, the only one I talk too.” Derpy said desperately. “The only thing I have in my life is this screwed up friendship with whatever the hell you are. Isn’t that funny? You’re the Element of Laughter so you would know. Isn’t it funny?”

*Clang*

The knife dropped from Pinkamena’s mouth and she wrapped her fore hooves around the pegauses shoulders “Derpy.” she whispered.

Derpy’s head started to spin and everything faded to black.

--- End Flashback ---

Derpy remembered waking up in her bed after she blacked out. If she had tried to escape she knew she wouldn’t have made it. Pinkamena wouldn't have brought her home. She would have ended up being made into whatever baked good rymed or sounded like Derpy. Now Derpy wondered what her next move was. She hadn’t called the guards on Pinkamena and was practically now an accomplice to her sick murders. If Pinkamena killed again she would be an accessory to murder. She had gone to the Ponyville Guard House and reported that stupid Catapult thing that Pinkamena built but nothing else.

All she had to say is Oh by the way she is also responsible for all the Ponies that have been disappearing lately but Derpy didn’t. Was a friend, her first real friendship worth this?

“Yawn, getting up this early is for masochists and workaholic earth ponies that are probably secret masochists” Rainbow Dash said to herself as she glided over Sweet Apple Acers. The sun was just starting to rise over the hill tops. Dash had gotten up early to round up invites to the party stating with Applejack. She had said that she would give Pinkie a second chance and Dash was going to hold her too it. She spotted the orange pony below her preparing for her day. Beginning her descent she yelled out to the pony. “Applejack!”

Applejack looked up seeing the cyan streak swooping towards her. What now. she thought.

“Hey Applejack.” Dash said landing in front of her. “Me and Pinkie are having a party. It would be great if you come.”

“Look RD I…” Applejack started.

“She is better, a lot better okay” Dash interrupted. “Please just give her a chance.”

“It’s not that, I have to work.” Applejack replied. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes and opened her mouth to speak. Applejack quickly cut her off. “Big Mac’s back is out, he can’t work the farm anymore, it’s just me. If I don’t keep up I am gonna lose Sweet Apple Acres. I’ve got no more days off.”

Rainbow Dash was getting sick of this. She hadn’t hung out with Applejack in weeks since Big Mac’s accident. She was never in town, never stopped by or anything. “Please AJ just this once we never see you anymore. Please it would mean so much to everypony.”

“No and that’s all there is to it.” Applejack said walking back to the fields.

Neither noticed the three small filly’s hiding in the bushes next watching their conversation.

---

“Shame mah big sis ain’t goin” Applebloom said. “She could use a break, she’s goin plum crazy.”

“But were going right?” Sweetie Belle asked. “We haven’t been to a real party in forever.”

“But isn’t Crazy Pinkamena going be there?” Sccotaloo asked.

“Yah heard Rainbow, she’s better now. Yah wanna miss a night partying with Rainbow Dash?” Applebloom said.

“I guess.” Scootaloo said.

“Hey we should get some more ponies from out class to come.” Sweetie Bell suggested.

“Good idea. Cutie Mark Crusaders Party Inviters... Or somthin.” Applebloom cheered.

---

Rainbow Dash took off into the air not noticing the pink earth pony watching her from below from Applejacks barn with some bags and bottles sitting in a cart behind her.

Rainbow dash sighed to herself. Well that’s AJ down, next is Fluttershy like there was a chance she’d go. She already spotted Fluttershy’s cabin and prepared for the conversation she had, had a million times now. She landed knocking on the door.

“What is it!” came a tired and angry yell from inside the cottage.

“It’s me Rainbow Dash. Please open up Fluttershy.” Dash said through the door.

“Just go away.” came a harsh reply through the door.

“Please Fluttershy you have to come out sometime. Me and Pinkie are having a party please come to it. Talk to someponies.” Dash pleaded.

Dash heard uneven hoof shuffling inside and then the door slowly opened reveling a hooded Fluttershy. Rainbow Dash caught sight of Fluttershys face and involuntarily flinched. The door immediately slammed shut. ”Go away nopony wants to see… this.”

Rainbow begged and pleaded through the door but there was no answer, only soft weeping. Eventually Rainbow Dash gave up and flew off. Since that horrifying incident getting Fluttershy out of her cottage was next to impossible. Not that it would be easy for her, even Rainbow Dash had trouble looking at her now.

Rainbow Dash was over Ponyville’s main quarter passing above Carousel Boutique. That was a nonstarter; since Rarity had been the one to start the Pinkie Parties are childish fad. Rarity had been pushing herself so hard at her boutique her free time was a luxury. She didn’t hang out with Rainbow Dash since the group fell apart anyway, they were more casual acquaintances now.

Landing outside the library Dash opened the door and stepped inside. “Twilight are you here?”

“Uh huh” came a reply from upstairs. Twilight stepped down the stairs and said. “What are you doing here Rainbow Dash? It is much too early for you to get up.”

“Me and Pinkie are hosting a party. I’m here to invite you.” Dash replied.

“Are you still trying to repair your friendship with Pinkie? That is well and god but I have research to do.” Twilight said.

“With less friendship reports to send I finally have time to work in other fields of research.”

Dash sighed. She had heard this before. As each of her friends became involved in their own things Twilight took it by throwing herself into old habits. “You need to make time for you know… friends.”

“Friends can wait until after the meteor shower tonight.” Twilight said walking back up the stairs. Rainbow Dash knew there was no use arguing.

If she was going to find Ponies for the party she would have to ask around and pray the invitations she sent out attracted some.

As she left the library she flew over the Ponyville Post Office not noticing Pinkamena slipping a package through the mail slot in the back directly into the bulk mail sorting bin.

---

“No ma’am today’s mail is still in the back. The cloud mail is being taken out in a few minutes, it is already in the bag. The rest is in the sorting bin in back. Why do ask?” The mail pony at the front desk asked.

Pinkamena pushed down the panic. “I have party invitations going out. Just wanna make sure they are on time. Say who is delivering the cloud mail?”

The mail pony looked nervous. “We cannot give that information ma’am, you can’t choose your mail pony.”

“Oh.” Pinkamena said. So it is Derpy. she thought with an internal smile.

---

Derpy finished reminiscing just as she reached the post office. Buck me I forgot to brush my hair. She thought. Derpy walked into the back of the post office picking up her mail bag. She shoved some wrapping paper into her mail bag. This year she was going to be a package for Nightmare Night. She took a moment to congratulate herself for being such a thrifty pony. Last year she wore shopping paper bags she grabbed at the last minute. This year she wouldn’t look like such a fool.

Derpy stepped into the street and spread her wings to fly when she heard somepony call her name. She looked around spotting her pink friend in an alley way across the street. Derpy made her way over to Pinkamena.

“Hello Derpy.” Pinkamena smiled. “You have something of mine.”

“What’s that Pinkamena?” Derpy asked.

“Rainbow Dash sent out a stack of invitations for a party in a room that lets just say nopony should enter before their time.” Pinkamena said.

“Oh. Umm… I can’t just give you the mail. Ponies would notice.” Derpy replied feeling uncomfortable.

“I have a solution to that.” Pinkamena pulled out a small box with a button on it. “Just press the button and everyone will forget.”

“What do you mean?” Derpy asked.

“Press it and find out. Yu will find it does exactly like I said.” Pinkamena said winking.

Derpy scoffed. She wasn’t going to be tricked by whatever ploy Pinkamena was planning. Pinkamena would probably pretend her memory was erased when I push this button Derpy thought. Does she think I am a child? Derpy pressed the button.

*BANG!*

Derpy’s eyes shot to the street and she stared in stunned silence as smoke rose up from the post office.

Pinkamena laughed hysterically putting her fore hoof around Derpy’s shoulder.“Now you really are a terrorist pony Derpy.” She reached into the bag and pulled out the stack of invitations destined for the cloud homes above Ponyville and ripped them up. “No one will miss these.”

Derpy was out of it as she watched ponies evacuate into the street. She counted the ponies and breathed a sigh of relief when all four ponies who were working there ran out. Derpy felt a hoof caress her neck and lips touch her ear.

“Worried you hurt somepony Derpy? I wouldn’t dirty you like that.” Pinkamena rubbed the back of Derpy’s neck. “I have to go change into my costume. Nightmare Night is coming and with no party I will just have to enjoy the street festival. You’re going to join me right?”

“……yes.” Derpy whispered as she watched the fire brigade approach the post office.

---

It was a long day for Dash filled with pleading and arguing but about a dozen ponies followed behind her to Sugarcube Corner. A giant walking box with cross eyes and Princess Pinkamena stood outside. Pinkamena had a look of shock on her face as she spotted the approaching group.

“Hey Pinkie, is the party ready?” Dash asked a nervous Pinkamena. “Come on guys it’s this way. You’ll love the scary decorations.” Dash said.

Pinkamena raised her fore hoof into her stitched on wing griping a hiiden knife. I am gonna take as many of you with me as I can. She thought.

“Hey!” Came a yell down the street. The local school teacher Moondancer and about 20 fillies and colts from her class followed after her. “Some more guests arriving.”

Rainbow Dash and Pinkamena stood in shock as the children from the local school house grouped around them with their new teacher. “Umm Pinkie, we can’t let those kids see the party you set up. It’s a little umm… graphic. Unless you can pull a new Nightmare Night Party out of nothing in ten minutes we’re screwed.”

Pinkamena getting over her shock turned to Dash. “Who do you think I am?” She bolted into the bakery while curious onlookers heard what sounded like heavy construction and a few small explosions. Thirty seconds later Pinkamena emerged. “Done! I’m not the Party Pony… err Princess for nothing.”

Stepping into Sugarcube Corner Dash could only gawk at the party that had emerged from seemingly thin air. Streamers, Balloons, Snacks, Music and everything else a party needed was all arranged in the store front of the shop. The decorations matched the theme some with paint still dripping off them revealing the Hearth’s Warming Eve colors beneath.

“Wow Pinkie this is amazing!” Dash said staring around the room as ponies filtered in. “This is going to be an awesome party.”

“Duh, I am the party pony. Let’s all Party!” Pinkamena yelled. She felt sick inside letting all these hypocrites enjoy a party in her home after they turned their backs on her but anything to keep her secret. She didn’t mind letting everypony know… but only one at a time. Pinkamena began her routine setting the music and serving the snacks. She began to control the flow of the party like she was working marionette. The ponies were predictable as always, more so being party starved, they wanted the usual fix they had been denied so long and weren’t looking for the exotic. She could practically autopilot this.

Pinkamena spotted Derpy across the room staring through the holes in her box costume. Pinkamena smiled and turned back to running the party, she hadn’t had much time for Derpy tonight. When she looked back for the grey mare she was gone. Pinkamena took a look around the room making sure everypony was fine before slipping out to look for Derpy. She walked down the halls of Sugarcube Corner spotting her storage room door ajar.

Pinkamena walked into her storage room locking the door behind her. She Spotting the open trap door. She kicked herself for forgetting to close it when she changed into her costume. Pinkamena stepped through the trap door into the subbasement. The lights were off and the room was still lit only by the candle Pinkamena had left burning. In the middle of the room she spotted the grey mare next to her discarded costume. She was lying on the table staring at the ceiling.

“Oh Derpy, you shouldn’t be here” Pinkamena said walking towards the pegasus.

---

Derpy sat in the corner of the party watching Pinkamena sprint from one pony to another asking questions or offering snacks. Whenever she was free of that she refilled the snacks or changed the music. Rainbow Dash was trying to ditch Scootaloo or mingling with guests. Everyone was having fun around her like always. Derpy slipped from the room lost in her head. What am I doing. She thought as she walked Sugarcube Corners halls. She came across the storage where a little while ago she had almost been killed. Pinkamena had come out of that room in her Princess costume as beautiful as ever when she arrived to hit the street festival with her. The door was unlocked and Derpy descended down the steps noticing an open trap door reveled by folded carpet. “Is that where it happens?” Derpy whispered approaching the door.

Derpy gulped as she peered down the dark doorway in the floor. She wasn’t sure if she wanted to see what was down there. This whole friendship had been practically based on denial. Her inner curiosity got the better of her and she stepped through the door. The room was dark except for a single candle burning. It illuminated a table in the center of the room. Derpy ran her fore hoof over the wood. “So this is where they…” Derpy said. She didn’t know how to feel, she knew Pinkamena but she didn’t know them. They never tried to know her. Except for Golden Harvest but she was never really friends with Derpy, she was there from time to time but not really friends. Can I ignore this? Derpy thought. Can I pretend it isn’t happening? Derpy crawled up on to the table and lay down. For the who knows how many time she didn’t know the answer. Derpy let her mind go blank and stared into the darkness above.

“Oh Derpy, you shouldn’t be here.” came a voice from out of the darkness.

Derpy tried to sit up but her right fore hoof was grabbed and strapped to the table. She swung her left hoof in the air but it was grabbed as well and forced down to the table and strapped. Derpy’s legs kicked wildly and her wing fluttered lifting her torso and legs into the air where they twisted. Pinkamena jumped on top of Derpy forcing her back down to the table and knocking the wind out of her.

“Shhhh, shhhh. It’s okay Derpy.” Pinkamena cooed as she wrapped a strap around Derpy’s waste.

“What… what are doing Pinkamena?” Derpy asked scared.

“Derpy, Derpy, Derpy… It’s Princess Pinkamena, you need to get into the Nightmare Night spirit… You shouldn’t have come down here Derpy. You really should not have” Pinkamena said strapping in Derpy's hind legs. Pinkamena set about fastening and tightening all the straps on the table to the grey mare. One strap for each shin and one for each thigh of her four legs. Her chest, waste as well as her neck and across her forehead followed. Each strap pulled tight trapping Derpy down to the table. The only part of her free was her wings.

“Comfortable?” Pinkamena purred as she watched the immobile mares eyes dart around and her wings flutter helplessly.

“Please Pinkamena. Please let me go, I am sorry, I’m so sorry.” Derpy begged. Pinkamena just smirked at her and stared. “Pinkamena? Please I just had to know what you do to them.”

“Aww Derpy. This isn’t about that. It’s that you’re here.” Pinkamena put her fore hooves on the table edge and pulled herself up onto the table.

Derpy couldn’t see what was happening with her head strapped but she felt the weight of mare against her as Pinkamena crawled across the table. She felt smothered by the other mare as about 150lb’s of pony pressed against her legs, stomach and chest. Derpy never knew an average sized mare felt so heavy but she never had one sprawled out on top of her before. Pinkamena’s head came into her view and Derpy opened her mouth to speak.

She felt Pinkamena’s tongue push into her mouth, it was such an alien sensation to her. It didn’t feel like she thought it would, like it was described in books she read. It was thick, slimy and moved clumsily around in her mouth pushing against her tongue and teeth. It tasted like skin coated in the saliva that was pooled in Pinkamena’s mouth since the last time she swallowed and the stale fruit punch and bits of cake that had been left over from the when Pinkamena last ate at the party. In books they say it tasted sweet or like candy but in reality it was just skin and drool and whatever was left over in her mouth.

The shocking thing was that Derpy didn’t find it that gross, this first kiss. As she got used to the taste it felt natural.

Pinkamena pulled her head back and slowly licked Derpy’s lips. The grey mare flinched at the alien sensation. Derpy yelped when Pinkamena bit her lower lip too hard. It stung a little. Pinkamena pulled herself forward up to Derpy’s chest and sat on her haunches. Pinkamena felt Derpy’s chest compress beneath her weight and she watched as Derpy struggled to breathe.  “How was the kiss?” Pinkamena asked.

“Ge.. get… off… please.” Derpy forced out the thick straps already made it hard to take in air but Pinkamena’s weight before was nothing compared to it all being on her chest. She struggled for each breath of air giving a desperate look towards Pinkamena as her mouth opened and shut itself in rapid succession like a fish’s taking in every bit or oxygen she could. Pinkamena just stared back with a calm and uninterested look on her face like Derpy’s pain didn’t even register. “Pleease… get off.”

“I am sure I will.” Pinkamena said with a small smirk. Her face returned to the impartial mask. “But we’ll do what I want later. Right now you have to tell how the kiss was.” Pinkamena’s fore hoof rubbed the side of Derpy's muzzle. Pinkamena shifted on her haunches from side putting pressure on the mare’s chest. Derpy coughed violently her body shifting around unsuccessfully trying to squirm against the straps that held her still. Derpy’s eyes begged desperately to allow her to breathe again her chest aching. “I’m waiting.” Pinkamena said calmly stilling her movements.

Derpy tried to calm her panic and ignore her pain. “Sk… skin. It tasted like wet skin.” She whispered.

Pinkamena lifted herself up a little; her face had a hint of surprise.  “Tell me more.”

“It isn’t like in books it tasted like, I don’t know” Derpy said taking larger breaths in.

“Why Derpy, was that your first kiss?” Pinkamena asked through a smirk, an excited look in her eyes. “Have you never kissed anypony before?” Pinkamena slowly eased off of Derpy’s chest.

Derpy blushed. She tried and failed to nod her head against the restraints. “Y… ye.. yes.” Derpy said unsteadily.

Pinkamena’s smirk turned cruel she poked her fore hoof hard onto Derpy’s stomach applying pressure she rubbed it in small circles. “You poor dear how old are you? Twenty?” Pinkamena said.

Derpy winced at the pressure. “Twenty Six” Derpy whispered.

Pinkamena laughed loudly at Derpy. She leaned forward and placed her fore hooves on either side of Derpy’s face. She pressed hard against Derpy’s head and brought her own head down staring eye to eye with her. “You’re like a big child.” Pinkamena giggled and then placed a kiss on her lips.

Derpy’s heart beat was rabid and she felt damp over her coat from sweat. “Don’t laugh.” She said giving the pink mare a defiant look.

“Mistake.” Pinkamena said with an annoyed look. She lifted a hoof and stamped on the base of Derpy’s wing. Derpy screamed her whole body telling her to move or fight but the straps held effortlessly. She couldn’t move an inch. “You don’t get to tell me what to do. I can do or say anything I want to you” Pinkamena said giving the grey mare a condescending look. Pinkamena leaned in close. “Say it. Say I can do whatever I want.” Derpy lay there in silence biting her lower lip. Pinkamena rubbed the bruised wing and then brought her hoof up above it. Derpy’s eyes went wide. “Say it.” Pinkamena whispered.

“You can… do… you can do whatever you to me.” Derpy said through a sob. Tears started to form in her eyes. Pinkamena leaned down and licked them off.

“That’s right Derpy, I am in control here.” Pinkamena said.

“Please Pinkamena, can you untie me. Aren’t we friends.” Derpy pleaded.

Pinkamena smiled. “Of course we are friends Derpy. Friends help each other, even if your friend is too stubborn to accept it. Twenty Six is far too long to stay a child.” she said.

Derpy’s eyes went wide again. “You… no… please… you can’t” Derpy begged in shock as Pinkamena’s right fore hoof glided down Derpy’s belly and between her hind legs. Derpy began to sob uncontrollably eliciting a quite chuckle from the mare above.

The party was going well. At least thirty Ponies were crammed into Sugarcube Corner. Everything was setup perfectly and everypony seemed to be having a good time. Rainbow Dash sighed as she placed another bowl of punch out. Pinkie had been gone for twenty minutes now and before that had been to busy running things to talk with her. Dash had thought that this party would be a good excuse to talk about their friendship. She had forgotten that Pinkie was so busy running parties that Dash just hung with her other friends, friends that weren’t here. Pinkie and her would hangout as the party wound down but Pinkie left for who knows what reason leaving her running everything.

Maybe Pinkie isn’t ready to have all these ponies over, maybe I rushed things and she just wants to alone right now. Dash thought. She hesitated at the very idea of this party but I pushed her. Rainbow Dash watched the ponies mingle about with their friends, something she was in short supply of at the moment. She couldn’t help but selfishly think this night was a waste as she watched them all have fun. Is this how Pinkie felt when she threw a party? Dash thought. Maybe I brought this all on myself.

Rainbow Dash went to change the record in the music. “I hope Pinkie is doing okay.” She said under her breath.

That slimy tongue was back. Derpy stifled a moan as she felt herself get invaded again. The restraints had started to hurt as her body involuntarily fought against them. They rubbed against her fur scraping her skin raw. She couldn’t see what Pinkamena was doing to her. Forced to stare at the darkened ceiling flickering in the candle light feeling every movement the pink mare made. She felt the cold breathe between her damp hind legs and shivered. A jolt of intense feeling shot through her body as the tongue slowly and roughly licked up her slit circling at the top. A moan escaped her lips.

“Are you enjoying yourself?” The taunting voice came from below.

Derpy stayed quite. Her stomach churned at the words. Derpy had touched herself before, lots of times really but this was so slow, so out of her control. She had no clue what was coming next. It felt so wrong that she was being forced, it hung in her mind the powerlessness and violation but it felt so good at the same time. Her everything ached, her wings, lungs, face, stomach had all been abused by the pink mare and this felt so much better then pain. But it sickened her at the same time. The worst thing is that she found Pinkamena attractive on some level. Pinkamena wasn’t a stallion but Derpy always thought Pinkamena was pretty on an aesthetic level and this intimate contact was bucking with her brain. The tongue pushed deep and Derpy let out another moan.

“I guess you are too busy moaning to talk.” Pinkamena laughed. She brought a hoof down hard on Derpy’s kneecap. Derpy let out another scream. “But when I ask you something you need to answer… for your own benefit friend.” Pinkamena said with mock concern.

“Okay… I will.” Derpy whispered. The defiance was draining out of her. If she just did what she was asked the things Pinkamena forced on her would at least feel good instead of hurt.

Pinkamena placed her muzzle between Derpy’s hind legs and nuzzled her eliciting another moan. She breathed deep through her nose taking in Derpy’s scent before giving a last lick. “Were almost done Derpy.” She said eagerly.

“Really?” Derpy replied with an almost hopeful voice.

“Yup!” Pinkamena said tilting her head forward. The painted pink horn from her princess costume touched Derpy’s labia spreading her slightly. Derpy’s eyes went wide in shock and she for what must have been the hundredth time struggled in vein. Pinkamena moved into view. The tip of the horn from her costume shined with a few drops of Derpy’s juices. Pinkamena had a solemn smile on her face and was stroking her fake wings with her right fore hoof. “Are you ready to become a real mare?”

Derpy’s shock started to wear off. She slowly started to speak. “Please, please no, please don’t do this, please, just stop I’m begging you stop this please!” Derpy’s voice raised up as her begging got louder. Pinkamena just rolled her eyes and trotted off into the darkness leaving the grey pegasus pleading with the darkness.

Pinkamena stepped out of the darkness with a long strip in mouth. A bit of cloth was wrapped around the center of it. Pinkamena placed the cloth into the mouth of the sobbing mare and tied the strip around her neck. “It’s best if you stay quiet for this.” she whispered. Pinkamena moved out of Derpy’s view catching a glimpse of the tears trailing her checks. She shuttered was both pleasure and regret at her friends pain. Pinkamena positioned herself between the mare’s hind legs and tilted her head. She used her fore hooves to open Derpy’s lips and she pushed the horn inside the tight mare. She heard Derpy’s scream through the gag as she went deeper inside her.

Derpy was in a panic as the horn pressed into her. She felt it press against her walls rubbing against her. It hurt and it stimulated her aching at the same time. She let out a scream but even she couldn’t tell if it was out of pain or pleasure. The horn pulled out slowly and pushed in again and again and again. Derpy moaned through the gag as she was violated by the foreign object. Her whole body burned from the adrenaline and coating of sweat matting down her fur like she was under a heavy blanket in the sun. It felt suffocating. She ached between her legs, she didn’t know how long Pinkamena had her down here but she desperately wanted relief. She had never lasted more than a few minutes when she masturbated but this felt like hours, these feelings had never been so strong. The Horn pressed deeper than before and Derpy felt Pinkamena’s forehead touch her. Derpy moaned as the horn was pulled out of her at a very, very slow pace.

“See, that wasn’t so bad. You’re a real mare now.” Pinkamena chirped with joy. She climbed up on top of Derpy and Derpy saw the horn stained with a bit of blood. Pinkamena positioned herself so her vagina pressed tightly against the tied down pegasus’s. “Lets take care of that other problem you must be aching.” She whispered into Derpy’s ear. Pinkamena pulled the gag from Derpy’s mouth and jerked forward forcing a squick from Derpy’s lips. “Are you ready to finish Derpy?”

Derpy stared into Pinkamena’s eyes. She couldn’t take it after being wound up and swallowed her pride. “Yes.”

“You can ask nicer than that.” Pinkamena replied giving another little push.

“Please Pinkamena just…” Derpy started.

“Let you cum?... Say it.” Pinkamena said cutting her off.

“Please Pinkamena let me cum.” Derpy said with a look of defeat.

Pinkamena pulled the piece cloth off of the gag. She took the strip in her teeth and lowered it into the painting mare’s mouth. It tasted salty and bitter. “I lied when I said that piece of cake was made out of Golden Harvest. This preserved strip is all that’s left.” The strip passed Derpy’s mouth into her throat gagging her. Derpy started to choke on it. “Go on bite through it, it’s really thick.” Pinkamena said lowering it further. She started to move her body rubbing against the choking mare.

Derpy bit down on the strip of jerked meat swallowing it piece by piece as it was lowered further. The wet lips of the other mare pressed against her own both at her mouth and between her legs. The last bit of meat came with the pink mares tongue and she swirled it in between there mouths. The pink mares tongue went wild in Derpy’s mouth licking her checks, tongue and teeth until it was pulled out leaving Derpy to swallow the last morsel.

Derpy’s eyes rolled back as the sensation in between her hind legs reached a fever pitch. Her mouth opened and she groaned as a huge orgasm rolled over her.  She let out a small scream then felt her whole body go limp. She just lay their staring at the ceiling soaked in sweat and aching everywhere. She lay there for a few minutes in the afterglow feeling the other mare rub against her until she tensed up and collapsed on top of Derpy. Soon after Pinkamena stirred and started to undue the straps.

Rainbow Dash watched the last ponies leave Sugarcube Corner. Rainbow dash wanted to go look for Pinkamena but she was exhausted. She had been running around since early morning finding and inviting guests and she had been hosting for almost half the party. She just wanted to get home and rest.

As she was saying her goodbyes to everypony almost all of them had asked her to thank Pinkie Pie or Pinkamena if they had known she was going by her full name now. Rainbow Dash allowed herself a moment of joy in what was otherwise a terrible night. She had accomplished one of her goals. Some of Pinkie Pie’s reputation was restored.

Maybe this would have been a bigger hit if the post office hadn’t had that small explosion. What was that about? Dash thought.

Rainbow Dash decided she would ask Pinkie why she left tomorrow and took off for home.

---

The walk home was quite. The only thought that went through Derpy’s head was how she had no thoughts to think. It was like she was shut down; she just silently followed the Pinkamena who had insisted on walking her home.

When they walked through the door Derpy crawled into her bed exhausted. Pinkamena wrapped the covers around her and ran a fore hoof over her head rubbing her mane. Derpy closed her eyes and lay still trying to make sense of the day, of the month and of Pinkamena. She didn’t move when she felt drops of water hit her face.

“Are you asleep?” Pinkamena asked. Derpy didn’t respond and continued to lay still. A few minutes later Pinkamena spoke again. “I’m sorry.” Pinkamena whispered under her breathe. “I don’t know why I…” she studdered. “I think I… I love you.” The tears increased. “Sleep well.”

Derpy heard the other mare walk away open and shut the door. She slowly opened her eyes. Derpy lay in shock. She had almost been killed, taunted, beaten, force fed bits of another pony and raped. All that was done by a mare who supposedly loved her. Derpy laughed nervously for a moment. I’ve never been loved by another pony. she thought.

Derpy didn’t know what to do. I could turn her in and all this would be over. Derpy thought. I could tell them everything and they would drag her away in chains. I would be free, free to be alone… forever. Do I want her gone? Derpy asked herself. I am strong, I survived tonight and she probably isn’t going to kill me. It wasn’t all bad too.

Derpy felt the damp fur on her face. She raised a fore hoof up and wiped away a tear. “What should I do.” She asked herself.

---

“What the Bucking Hell is wrong with Me!!!” Pinkamena screamed kicking over her steel tray table.

*CLANG!*

Implements of torture scattered about the floor. Pinkamena stared at them with a look of disgust. “What the Bucking Hell!” She screamed again. She ran over to her work bench and flung the Party Hat into the air spilling the hundreds of numbers onto the floor. She picked up the books on her work shelf and threw them to the floor.

Pinkamena walked over to the party table lifted her hind legs and bucked it breaking some of the gears. She climbed up onto the table and lay down. It was still damp from Derpy’s sweat and had her scent on it. Pinkamena pressed her muzzle to it and inhaled deeply.

She turned her head to the scattered instruments of torture that lay on the floor. “Why I am I like this.” She sobbed.

I raped her. I wanted to hurt her. I wanted to cut, bite, burn, electrocute, slice, saw, hack and commit any other torture I could think of to her. I wanted to watch her die, watch the life leave her eyes like all the others. Pinkamena thought. And I love her.

I love her and I want to kill her so badly just like everypony else. I spared the Cake Family because they are nice to me, and the stallion that runs the hardware store because I need tools. I don’t feel the need to hurt them but when she looks at me with those damn eyes full of fear and terror I, I, I don’t know. I see her and it’s just fine to be around her but when were alone all I want to do is hurt her.

“Why did I have to fall in love! Why can’t I be normal!” Pinkamena yelled.

Pinkamena stepped off the table and picked up her medical bag. Bringing it back to the table she opened it and pulled a syringe and a vial. Sticking the needle into the vial she emptied it into the syringe. “Three doses of sedative.” Pinkamena whispered. She pressed the needle into her left fore arm and pressed down on the stopper.

Pinkamena lay upon the table. I wonder if I will wake up tomorrow. She thought. She thought about her so called legacy and how little it mattered now. Yesterday she was in love and happy. Today she had raped the mare she loved and every minute of it she was fighting the urge to kill her. Pinkamena had no idea what she was to do but she was no longer needed think about that. She let the calm thought that she just might not have to deal with any of this in the morning. She might not have a morning at all. The room started to spin.

Pinkamena fell unconscious.

---

Rainbow Dash sat on the floor of her room. She stared at her newly made audience.

“It’s ironic. That’s what it is ironic. I caused her to be ostracized and friendless and now I am in the same cloud as her.” Rainbow Dash said to the crowd.

“Twilight won’t make time for friendship after the Pinkie falling out. I just go to the library to read. Rarity never liked me that much anyway. Fluttershy has barricaded herself indoors after what happened to her face. Applejack is working twenty hours a day since Big Mac hurt his back and had to get a job in retail. That leaves Pinkie… Who I royally screwed over” Dash said. “I told myself that it would be okay because I have plenty of friends… Irony.”

Dash looked to her crowd. A pile of rocks, a bag of flour, a ball of lint and a bucket of turnips all made out of clouds sat in front of her.

“I don’t know what she sees in you guys.” Dash said crushing each of the four clouds back into the floor.

Dash choked back her tears. Over the last couple of weeks she had realized what was happing around her. Now it was all in front of her. She was alone.

“I am not going to give up.” She said weakly. “I am not going to give up!” she said again louder. “All I have to do is be loyal! I’ll win Pinkie back, I will help them all! I am going to save our friendships!”

“Right after I get some sleep.” Dash said crawling into bed for the night.

Chapter 4, Part 1

Rainbow Dash shivered while the cold water ran down coat. That’s the thing about showers in Cloud Houses, very little hot water. The pool runs dry after about ten minutes and then it’s just rain water. Blacks and yellows smudged over her coat onto the cloud floor to be rained out below. Removing the dye from her Daring Do costume had become an obsession for Rainbow Dash. She wanted all reminders of that night alone behind her. All day she spent begging and not a single one of her friends would give her the time of day. Then Pinkamena abandoned her.

The scrubbing had turned the skin beneath her fur raw and her wings were starting to blister. Rainbow Dash just stared at her reflection in the mirror across the room silently as she scraped the sponge over herself again and again desperate to remove any trace of that night.

Rainbow Dash crawled out from the cold shower and slumped down exhausted next to her bed. Four hours the clock next to her bed showed, four hours since she got out of bed and stepped into the shower. She had gotten little sleep last night and all of this was beginning to take its toll.  Her breathing was labored and she felt heavy in her waterlogged skin. The mare shifted on the cloud floor trying to get comfortable now taking notice of her scraps and raw skin. As she twisted around on the cloud floor she started taking stock of her situation.

The party was a success and at the same time a disaster. Pinkamena had disappeared half way through and left Rainbow dash to host it. At first she was angry that Pinkie had abandoned her with none of her closest friends there to keep her company, until she realized something. Pinkie had invited her to party after party when Dash had ousted her from public life, each time she ignored the invitation afraid of the mare’s breakdown. When the invitations stopped coming Dash was relieved. One party alone where none of her friends came and Rainbow Dash was in despair, Pinkie had sent out so many invitations that she knew probably wasn’t going to be answered.  Yet she held hope.

Pinkie was desperate and begging and I just ignored her. Rock Piles and Flour Sacks that is what I decided to dump our friendship over. That is why Pinkie the pony who was friends with everypony in town a spent a year with no friends being mocked or shunned on the streets. Two weeks of not having just my five closest friends around and I’m ready to climb the walls. Not… the best situation for me but Pinkie… I still have to do something. Everything I have tried hasn’t brought us closer to just talking to each other. I’m not through yet, I am going to get to the bottom of this and I am going to start by finding out what happened yesterday.

Rainbow Dash began to pull herself up from the fluffy floor and rotated her still aching wings. After making sure they worked normally she yawned and made her way to the front door and out onto the small cloud balcony. Get answers this time she told herself jumping over the edge. Dash spread her wings and let the wing catch them turning her fall into a gentle glide. She spotted Sugarcube Corner in the distance and she wasn’t going to leave until she had answers.

Diving down for a landing she heard a familiar almost boyish voice from below yelling about something. It’s that retarded pegasus that keeps breaking stuff. What is she yelling about? Dash thought.

“Somepony help me! Anypony!” Derpy screamed dragging a motionless pink pony out of Sugarcube Corner.

---

*Beep Beep Beep*

*Smack*

A grey hoof came down hard on top of the Alarm Clock. 9:30 AM. Derpy groaned and rolled herself back under her covers and tried to get back to sleep. Today was a stay home from work holiday called Derpy Day. The day she named for when she did something phenomenally stupid and they had to rebuild her work place. At least this time it wasn’t entirely my fault and they didn’t connect me to the bomb so yay no extra debt. Derpy thought while squeezing the pillow around her face. “Sigh” Yeah I’m not getting back to sleep.

Derpy rolled over and stared at her cracked ceiling. What am I gonna do to today. She placed her  fore hooves on the bed and pushed herself up onto her haunches. “yawn” Derpy stretched out her wings and fore hooves and rubbed her head against her shoulders to clear the sleep from her eyes.

Derpy’s eyes shot open and she sat in stone shock. The smell of sweat, hers and… they had two different scents; she hadn’t noticed how different the scents of other ponies were. Her breath wafted around her shoulder, stale spit and meat, she never tasted or smelled raw meat before…  There was something else a stronger, muskier scent. She pulled her head out of her shoulder but it was still there. She sniffed harder trying to figure out what it was. Giving up Derpy slumped over resting her head on the bed. On her next breath it filled her nostrils, her eyes shot open and a blush spread across her face in realization.

Derpy sat back up and looked down between her legs feeling sick at the scents of last night. She swallowed hard forcing the… whatever it was coming up her throat back down. Tears stated to form in the grey mares eyes.

”No… no” she quietly whispered. “I’m disgusting…” She could feel the tears start to roll down her face. She stood up and quickly trotted towards the kitchen whispering “I gotta get clean.” under her breath over and over again.

Derpy stared at the sink that she used to clean herself in lieu of owning… affording a bathtub and the rag she used to scrub. She picked a mixing bowl off the counter and quickly filled it with water. Derpy tipped the bowl over her head pouring water and a little batter that was left in the bowl down her body before it cascaded over the floor. Again and again she dumped more water on her head until a puddle covered her kitchen floor

“Well that’s bathing done.” Derpy said to herself in a nervously upbeat voice with a crooked smile spread across her face. “Now for some breakfast.”

Derpy opened her cabinet and looked inside. Dry oats and crackers sat on the shelf; she sighed and pulled the oats out. I wish I could afford something better like waffles or pancakes. I thought I had something else in here. Derpy trotted through the kitchen her hooves splashing across the floor and entered the living room / bedroom. She placed a bowl of oats and a tumbler of tap water down on the table to eat.

Calmly finishing her breakfast Derpy sat at her table and stared at her front door. So what’s next today? she asked herself. No answers came to her question. They never came to that question, at least not before last night when she was invited to go to the Nightmare Night Festival. It hit Derpy what was missing from her cupboard. I was supposed to get candy last night… She had psyched herself up for that Festival just her and her friend. Just like everypony else enjoying the festivities with a friend.

A small sob escaped the mares lips. What’s next today? Dealing with this is next today. Figuring out what I am going to do about what happened, about my frie… Pinka… about… Derpy struggled to even think the name. Pink… Pinka…

“PINKAMENA!!!” Derpy shouted at the top of her lungs. Pinkamena, Pinkamena, Pinkamena Diane Pie. I am a clumsy mare, a cross eyed mare, a lonely mare, a sad mare, a poor mare, a pathetic mare, a scared mare but I am not a cowardly mare. I haven’t had family since I was sixteen, I spent three years without a home, doctors said I would never fly with these eyes, the city council said I shouldn’t fly and my parents named me bucking Derpy Hooves for Celestia’s sake. I will not cower at her name; I will not cower at that mare. I will not cower, I will confront her. Derpy pumped herself up.

Are you asleep?... I’m sorry. I don’t know why I… I think I… I love you… Sleep well. The voice played through Derpy’s mind, the last word she had heard Pinkamena say. Pinkamena and her smart flank smirks, her childish giggles, her imaginary friends, her overactive imagination, her calming attitude, her suffocating presence, her constant inappropriate touches… her beauty. It didn’t all feel bad… last night. Derpy thought with a little self-disgust.

“Why would that psycho want me?” Derpy whispered turning her head towards the mirror, a messy maned wall eyed pegasus with a little batter on her check stared back.

Find out then. Derpy thought wiping the gunk off her face and trotted out the front door not even noticing the Cloud Castle that occluded her view. She spread her wings and took off for down town Ponyville and Sugacube Corner.

---

Derpy circled above Sugarcube Corner. Breath normal, you can do this. She slowly began her descent landing at the front door. Taking a deep breath she pushed it open and walked in. Sugarcube Corner only had a few ponies milling around inside, after Nightmare Night most had all the sweets they could want. Behind the counter sat a blue mare… Her name is… Mrs. Cake or something.

The older mare turned towards Derpy and said “You're Derpy aren’t you. Pinkamena’s new friend right?” There was an air of eager hopefulness in her voice.

“Yes… ma’am.”

“Come, come here Derpy. What’s your favorite treat.”

Derpy could see the cold stares of the ponies around her. Mrs. Cake treating the arrival of the unpopular friend of the most unpopular pony in town with joy. It isn’t enough that they ignore us and whisper behind are back but they seem almost offended that we can happy without their approval. She is still my friend right? Derpy sighed approaching the counter.

“Well which is your favorite?” Mrs. Cake prompted.

“Umm…  cinnamon rolls? I like those.” Derpy replied.

Mrs. Cake pulled a Cinnamon Roll from behind the counter and handed it to the pegasus. “On the house. I am very happy that… Pinkamena has a friend again. She seems brighter, so… thank you. I think she is upstairs.”

Well I get free snacks out of this, that’s a plus. Derpy took the her treat and walked up the stairs to Pinkamena’s room. Derpy wrapped a hoof against the door. “Pinkamena you in there? Pinkamena!” Derpy opened the door and stepped inside. No pony was inside, just a pile of rocks wearing a baseball cap.

Where could she be?... Who am I kidding I know the answer to that.  Derpy stepped out of Pinkamena’s room and slowly began to make her way down the stairs. Time seemed to pass slowly for the mare but eventually she cleared the stairs and found herself at the beginning of the hallway. She passed room after room coming to the last room on the left of the hall, the cleared out storage room. Her hooves shook and she bit down on her lower lip. Forcing down her anxiety she pushed the door open and descended down the stairs into the storage room.

Derpy wasted no time making her way across the room ripping up the carpet and pulling the trap door open. Here goes. She took a step down and stopped. What do I say her? What will she do to me down there if she doesn’t like what I have to say… I didn’t get this far to turn tail and run. Derpy continued down the stairs.

The room was pitch black and Derpy couldn’t see a hoof in front of her face. There was no sound coming from the room. Last time she was here Derpy didn’t see much, only a single candle illuminated the room and that table. Pinkamena’s voice ran through her head. You shouldn’t have come down here Derpy. You really should not have. Derpy shuttered. Well I’m here now, I might as well look around. Maybe there is a light. Derpy hoofed around for a light switch, it brushed against it. Here goes.

*Click*

Derpy’s eyes darted around the room. Well it’s about what I expected it to be. Bloody hoof stains on the wall, incoherent words scratched into the brick, piles of bones some made into crude furniture and chains from the ceiling with skulls hung on them. Clothes of all kinds hoodies, dresses, aprons, hoof gloves and hats made of  pony hide hung on the wall. There was a large blood stained drain tub with taps and a shower. Even her torture chamber has a shower but I am still stuck using my kitchen sink… Derpy sighed. Not the time to be thinking of that. In the corner there was a messy work bench. Sheets of paper, books and party hat lay on the floor around it. Derpy picked up one of the books labeled journal.

I was expecting to be… well… shocked by this. But it's just about everything I figured it would be Derpy turned around and “Ahhhhh!” Derpy’s fore hooves covered her mouth stifling her scream. Lying on the floor next to the table was Pinkamena surrounded by various sharp objects. “Pinkamena I’m sorry I just wanted to… to… I just want to talk and I thought you were down here umm… didn’t think you were down here when I…” Derpy rambled.

“Pinkamena?... Pinkamena are you alright?” Pinkamena didn't move lying still on her side. “Pinkamena?!”

Derpy slowly walked over to the body and poked it with her fore hoof. No response. Derpy started to panic. “Pinkamena wake up!!!” Derpy put her fore hooves on the pink body and began shaking her back and forth. The mare didn’t move. Derpy rolled over the body and put her fore hooves on either side of Pinkamena’s head and shook her. “Please wake up.” Out of the corner of her lazy eye she spotted a needle on the ground next to an overturned bottle. She picked up the bottle and read the label, Sedative 3 doses. Derpy gulped. Calm down Derpy think.

Derpy laid her head down on Pinkamena’s throat and listened. Her breathing was slow and shallow. Derpy lifted her head and looked around the room. I could just leave her here to… I could just go. She turned back to the mare and ran her fore hoof down her mane. Her coat felt warm. Her face looked peaceful, no smirk no scowl, no bright smile just calm. Derpy leaned in close and felt her stale breath on her face, it reminded her of the kiss from last night. Derpy pressed her muzzle against the pink mares. Last time I was the one struggling to breathe. Funny... the irony. Derpy bit down on the pink mane and began pulling the mare towards the stairs. Deep down she wasn’t entirely sure if she should be doing this, if she should be saving her but she was. The thought of Pinkamena’s death hurt her there was no denying that so she pulled the mare up the stairs.

Derpy reached the top of the stairs and kicked the trap door shut behind her. She pulled the mare out of the storage room then shut the door. She dragged Pinkamena down the halls and out through the shop past a group of shocked ponies. All I have. Those words kept a steady tempo in her head, her body felt like it was on autopilot. Derpy walked out into the street followed by a panicked Mrs. Cake and a few curious onlookers.

Derpy took a deep breath and then yelled for help.

---

Rainbow Dash sat in the waiting room of the hospital, completely speechless. She just froze up when she saw Pinkamena being dragged into the street. She was so still, just lying there while that wall eyed idiot and Mrs. Cake freaked out. All Rainbow could do is stare at the scene while some pegasus pulling an ambulance picked her up. Mrs. Cake and Derpy got in with her and took off just leaving her floating there. Now she just sat in the waiting room to find out if her friend was alive. Mrs. Cake was in there right now and she took Derpy with her. The nurse said that immediate family and the ponies they invite only.

Why is Derpy in there of all ponies. When did she and Pinkie get so close. Dash thought with a hint of anger. She didn’t have much time to think as the doctor trotted into the waiting room towards Dash.

“You’re a friend of Pinkamena’s right?” He asked.

“Yes, is she going to be alright?” Dash replied the worry clear in her voice.

“It looks good, she accidentally took an overdose of sedatives for sleep troubles. She is stable for the moment but she isn’t going to wake up for a while.”

“Sedatives?” Dash asked.

“Yes it seems she had some sleep troubles, her friend Derpy found her passed out in her room this morning. She said Pinkamena often played loose with her medication. It wasn’t prescribed but mail order. The government really needs to crack down on these sorts of things, self-medication is extremely dangerous.” the doctor said irritation clear in his voice.

“You should talk to her about this.”

“Oh…  okay so umm when can I visit her?”

“Friends will be allowed to visit tomorrow; she should be awake by then.” The doctor walked back through the doors into the hospital.

Damn it, damn it, damn it! What the hell happened? Why did this happen? This was supposed to be the day, the day I fixed this… Every day was supposed to be the day. Dash thought glumly. This… why sedatives, what the hell happened. Just another uncomfortable question I have to ask her. Why is she friends with Derpy of all ponies, she must be desperate to hang out with that idiot. Dash’s mind ran through her situation and she started to wonder what she would do about this.

The others, they will come through for Pinkie, when they find out what happened to her they will all show up and support her. Tomorrow we’ll all come together and give her support; things will finally get back to normal. Pinkie won’t have trouble sleeping or have to hang around with the idiot. Things will be better for everypony.

Dash stood up and made her way to the door. She prepared to take off giving one last look at the hospital, which was when she spotted Derpy walking out.

“Rainbow Dash? What are you doing here?” Derpy asked walking towards Dash.

Rainbow Dash looked at the mare, that stupid boyish voice, those bucked up eyes and that eager grin that is plastered in her stupid face 24/7. Dash swallowed her disdain. “Visiting Pinkie Pie of course.” Rainbow Dash replied. “and you?”

“I found her. She’ll be fine the doctors told me. I can talk to her tomorrow when she wakes up.” Derpy replied.

“Are you her friend?” Dash asked.

Derpy paused for a moment and then replied. “Her best friend.”

“I’m her Best Friend not you. Just because you show up while she is a little sad doesn’t make you her anything.” Dash yelled in rage at the grey mare.

Derpy’s goofy smile got a little larger. “How would you of all ponies know that?” Derpy leaned in close to the cyan mares ear and giggled softly before whispering. “You know what Pinkamena says about you? She says you’re…”

*Woosh*

Dash felt Derpy’s wing brush against the side of her head as she took off into the sky. Maybe she isn’t as dumb as I thought. Dash thought while watching the grey mare retreat into the distance.

---

Derpy landed in the Poniville park and sat herself down under a tree. She stretched out her hooves and relaxed. That was fun. She pulled out a paper bag from between the feathers of her wings and pulled out the cinnamon roll she had been saving. She picked a small piece of it off and popped it in her mouth. Let’s get started.

Derpy reached her muzzle into her wing and pulled out a small book. Derpy dropped it onto the ground in front of her. The book was bound in a soft fabric. Pony Hide Derpy thought running her fore hoof over it. The title “Journal“ was stitched across the cover. No more hiding from the truth. If I am gonna be friends or whatever we are now then I need to know everything. Do your worst Pinkamena.

Entry #1 Diamond Mint.

Fluttershy Interrupted

Where am I? Everything is so blurry. I can’t move. Why can’t I move? What’s going on? Who is screaming? It’s so loud, who is screaming?  I think I can make out something. There is another pony here. Is she screaming? Wait I think this is my house, What is another pony doing in here? Please don’t hurt me whoever you are. There is another voice. What are they saying? I can barely hear anything

“It’s*****oka*****oing*****It’s going to*******going to be okay. It’s going to be okay.”

What’s going to be okay? what is he talking about? Is it a he? It looks like a mare. The voice could go either way. Is my face wet? It’s in my mouth. Is it blood? I think I’m bleeding. Why am I bleeding? I can’t move. Oh god. What is happening. Is that raccoon? It’s covered in blood… I hope it’s okay, I... was going to feed a family of raccoons before. What happened. Why can’t I move and who is screaming?

“An ambulance is coming. Calm down, please!”

Am I hurt. What is going on? I can’t talk. Why do I need to calm down? I can’t move. Shut up whoever is screaming. What the hell happened? Am I in pain? I can’t really feel anything but I think something hurts, I have blood in my mouth, am I in pain? I am not breathing properly, is that the blood? No I am taking in air through my nose, no just one of my nostrils but my chest hurts. I am exhaling to fast. Stop screaming… wait, I am screaming. It’s me I am screaming but I don’t feel… Oh god, Oh god the pain it’s everywhere the pain please stop, stop please oh god make it stop please.

---

“Ahhhhh” The mare woke up with a shout her right eye darted the room. It was dark she could barely see a few hooves in front of her face. There was still a bit of light coming in the window. It’s early evening, She could feel the cold wooden floor below her. I guess I didn’t make it to my bed again. The mare moved around on her haunches. Dry... I didn't wet myself this time. I really don't need that right now. At least when it happens on the floor it's easier to clean compared to my bed. She felt something small and soft touch her neck.

The mare started to panic. Oh god no please no. She began to shake as it started rubbing her neck. She felt the warmth of a small body press against her. Not again please. She swung her right fore hoof into the air knocking back whatever was touching her. "Get off!" She screamed her voice muffled and weak.

She began to turn her body dragging herself with her right fore hoof. Her left fore hoof moved slowly as she tried to put weight on it. She slowly struggled to sit up. She turned her head to face the creature that was pawing at her. A small white rabbit with three legs sat crumpled on the floor front of her. The panic drained from the right side of her face.

"Oh no, Angel Bunny I am sorry." Fluttershy dragged herself forward and extended her right fore hoof pulling the dazed bunny close. "I thought, I thought it was happening again please forgive me." She squeezed the small bunny. "I had the dream again Angel, I'm sorry, every night... I'm sorry. I had the dream."

Angel's one fore paw rubbed against the mares chest. He had a sympathetic look on his face.

She sat there holding her bunny and flashed back to that day. She had found a family of Raccoons at the edge of the Everfree Forrest. They were so thin, starving. Always ready to help she brought them back to her cottage to take care of them. Fluttershy kept her food in locked in cabinets so the more aggressive animals would not run off with her entire supply. Just before she was about to open them up everything went black.

That mail mare had found her. I never thanked her for that... The Doctors had told her it was a severe seizure. It had nearly paralyzed the left side of her body. Her ride face, side and wing though, they told her that it was damaged by them. There was some minor damage... Hah minor they said. Those things chewed through part of my check and lips. They ate half my right wing and some of my side. Minor... Fluttershy looked down at her tiny three legged companion. Those animals all just were waiting until I couldn't care for them to turn on me. Angel wouldn't He isn't like all the others. The others who would eat me.

When they let her out of the hospital the animals she had taken care of in the past had overran her home. She rubbed Angels stump. Angel was left starving there in a corner unable to move with his infected wound. He had tried to fight off the hungry Raccoons that attacked but they were to strong for the small rabbit. When Fluttershy had returned from the hospital she kicked the ungrateful animals away from her home, only Angel remained.

"Sweet little Angel, you wouldn't hurt mommy. I am so, so sorry Angel Bunny, I am so Sorry." Fluttershy cooed while rubbing the small stump. She had nursed the starving disabled rabbit as best she could. The infection in his paw had spread by the time they released her and she had to amputate his leg. "None of those disgusting creatures will touch us Angel, I promise." Thank god the mail mare killed that horrible Mother Raccoon and scared away the rest of those little monsters or they might have finished my poor Angel.

Fluttershy snapped out of her daze as a scent passed her nose. Carrot and Tomato Soup... "Did you make me dinner again Angel?" Fluttershy asked turning to see a bowl of soup and a glass of water behind her. The bunny nodded his head up and down enthusiastically with a look of pride on his face. Fluttershy gave him a solemn half smile. "Oh thank you Angel."

Inside Fluttershy felt sick. She had taken care of Angel in the past but now it was this disabled rabbit she now relied on. Despite his injury he could get around much quicker then the half limp mare. He cooked her meals, cleaned up most of her messes, and any other grunt work needed. Without him she did not know how she would make it, especially on her bad days when she could barely move. I'm supposed to care for him, instead he... he is my Angel."

What hurt her most about her caring Angel was that he was never short with her now. For just a moment when she would call for him he would have that annoyed impatient look, just for a moment. Then his features would soften, it felt like pity at first. It wasn't pity though, when she recognized what the look was it nearly killed her inside. It was the same look she used to wear when taking care of hurt animals, that same sympathetic look back from when her life was whole.

Fluttershy lifted the bowl in her fore hooves and tilted her head to the side. She began to drink the soup careful to avoid the holes in her check.

*Knock Knock.*

Who could be at the door? Groceries came yesterday. Rainbow Dash also already tried to visit yesterday. Who would come here at this hour?

*Knock Knock*

Fluttershy pushed herself up onto her four hooves and slowly began to limp her way to the front door.

"Hello... who is there?" She called out through the door.

"It's me Rainbow Dash, please let me in." The familiar voice called from the other side of the door.

Fluttershy sighed. Rainbow Dash was the last pony she wanted to deal with. Sure Dash had tried really hard to stay in contact with Fluttershy but she couldn't help but notice a look of disgust was always plastered across the cyan mares face whenever she looked at her. "Today is not a good day Dash."

"It's an emergency please let me in." Dash said almost pleading.

"O... okay I guess" What kind of emergency could this be? What happened? Fluttershy undid the latch on her door and opened it for the cyan mare.

Dash stepped into the cottage with a look of both urgency and eagerness on her face. "Pinkie Pie's in the hospital. She accidentally took too much of her sleeping medication. I'm trying to get all our old friends to visit her." Dash said quickly. "So are you going to come?"

"I don't think so, I don't want anypony else to see me like this. G... good luck though." Fluttershy replied nervously.

"She needs us Fluttershy. She has no friends now. Except for that Screw eyed clumsy mail mare. Why would she hang around with a mare so stupid looking. She has no taste anymore, I need to get her back her real friends."

Fluttershy's good eye started to twitch. "W... what d... did you say?!" Her voice was muffled by the nearly paralyzed left side of her jaw.

"I didn't mean it like that Fluttershy. I didn't I swear." Dash said nervously.

"Oh yes you did. Ohh... Yes You Did!" Fluttershy yelled her rage growing. She dragged herself towards the cyan bringing her head close and she stared into Dash's eyes. Dash flinched and looked away with a sick expression. "Get out... Get the Buck out of here right now. Right Now! Go!"

"Fluttershy I... I didn't..."

"Out!" Fluttershy screamed smacking Dash across her check with her right fore hoof.

Dash bolted from the house into the darkness of the early evening.

Fluttershy shut her front door and redid the latch. She still feared those evil animals out there,.. Waiting.

So... Pinkie's in the hospital?

---

Her eyes fluttered open. She rolled around under the covers of her bed her back aching. Everything felt heavy she could barely move. The world was in a daze. The bed shifted benethe her, there was somepony else here. She slowly rolled over to face the other pony. There at the edge of her bed was a cloaked pony standing in the shadows, the brown cloak it wore flowed off of it onto the edge of the bed and down to the floor.

"Death is that you? Is it my time now> Am I dead?" She asked.

"N... No. It's just me. Fluttershy." Came the cloaked ponies whispered reply. Fluttershy removed the hood from her head. "Hi Pinkie Pie."

"Please. It's Pinkamena now. Nicknames are for friends." Pinkamena spat back at the mare.

"I understand." Fluttershy said solemnly. Fluttershy extended a fore hoof to Pinkamena but she slapped it away. "You should sit up, you're going to get sores." Fluttershy said.

"I can do it myself." Pinkamena sighed slowly lifting herself. "Why are you here? Did you think I would forget what you did and just be friends with you again." Pinkamena leaned against the headboard and in a sing song voice said "Lonely Fluttershy thinks that because everypony abandoned her too she could just hangout with the other reject. She thinks I would forget that she stabbed me in the back while she was well and fine just so I can hang out with what was left of her."

Fluttershy flinched at the mares mocking. "No... No that isn't." She began to stutter a look of despair on half of her face. She took a deep breath and the calm expression returned to her face. "I'm here for you. To make sure you're okay."

"You didn't care the last time I wasn't okay. In fact you were afraid of me the last time I wasn't okay." Pinkamena giggled and then smirked at Fluttershy. "I overhear little foals talk about the scary mare that lives near the Everfree now, the one with half a face. Isn't that funny Fluttershy?"

Fluttershy's expression didn't change, she just stared at the cruel mare sitting in front of her. "I'm selfish" she whispered.

"What?

"I said I'm selfish. When I first made friends it was the most wonderful feeling in the world. They always came to talk to me or hang out. They would come up to me in the street just to say hi. I took it all for granted. I waited for them to come to me. I was never there when they needed me and when a friend frightened me I would just hide in my cottage or cower away from them on the street. Now that they're all gone, that they don't come to see me I have nothing. I can't go out to meet new ponies because... I can't take the looks and no pony comes to visit me."

"Then how did you get here?" Pinkamena asked

"It's the middle of the night now. I'm here enough that the staff doesn't pay attention anymore to whether or not I am supposed to be here so I slipped in to visit."

"Well lesson learned, I guess that makes us friends again" Pinkamena said with a wide grin. "So Fluttershy when you eat does the food fall through the holes in your face?"

"Sometimes." Fluttershy answered flatly. "The doctors say I can get skin graphs soon to cover the holes."

"Hey! Then you will be beautiful again just like when you were a famous model." Pinkamena's eyes drifted over Fluttershy's facial scars and her droopy half expression. She raised a fore hoof to cover her mouth and snickered loudly.

"Enough stop it!" Fluttershy said in a raised voice.

Fluttershy looked on the verge of tears, Pinkamena just scoffed. "I though we were friends again. Friends talk to each other." Pinkamena said Sarcasm dripping from her voice.

"I know we probably won't be friends again Pinkamena but I won't abandon you again." Fluttershy whispered. "I won't be that pony anymore."

"You won't be anypony anymore if you never leave your cottage. Just a crippled shut in."

Fluttershy ignored the shot. "I'm not going to give up. I... I am getting a psychiatrist to help me soon. They already gave me an appointment. Someday I am going to be able to walk in public again. Someday I am going to come to Sugarcube Corner to see you as a friend... I hope you will let me in."

Fluttershy slowly limped away from the room towards the door. Pinkamena watched the sorry mare silently as she limped out the door.

"I hope I will too." Pinkamena whispered before slumping back down onto the bed and falling asleep.

Chapter 4. Part 2

Section #1 Diamond Mint, Entry #1 ---

83. That is Diamond Mints number. The number I just pulled. The first one. I'm not sure what to do with this yet. I know everypony in ponyville. I don't know many of them well but I know their names and what they look like. Diamond Mint is a Unicorn mare. She has a light blue coat and her mane and her tail is purple with a white streak. She almost always wears a yellow saddle with a matching yellow flower in her mane, Her Cutie Mark is 3 Gems. She is a bit stuck up, doesn't like personal contact much. She follows fashion magazines and spends a lot of time in Rarities Boutique. She works part time as a gem cutter.

That is about all I know about her. I considered her a friend once, just like I considered every pony in Ponyville a friend. How wrong was I huh? Why did I consider them all friends. I barely knew any of them. I guess I used it as a shield, I don't hurt friends, I can't hurt friends. If they are all my friends... They're not my friends anymore though, none of them. I guess that is what makes this all okay...

Anypony reading this has got to be confused so maybe I should explain myself. I want to hurt other ponies. Not like fight them or beat them up, I want to hurt them. This isn't normal, I understand that but I don't think I care anymore. I have been trying to be a good pony for a long time and I know I have made some mistakes in the past but I was really good at being good. At first I tried so hard, I pushed myself to be full of smiles and happiness. If I let those thoughts stop just for a moment it all came back. These feelings and desires I feared. I kept myself hyper and moving to keep them away.. I'm not being forced to do this, I don't have some deep pathological need to hurt others, I can go up to my room shut the door and play solitaire, read a book or anything else and I am fine. I want to do this. .

It started with a book. No that's not right. It started long before that but it was the book that made this all seem possible, so real. I took it from a library in Hoofington when I went there to pick up a package for Mr. and Mrs. Cake. The post office said it hadn't arrived yet so I went looking for something to occupy me. When I saw the library it was so much bigger then Twilight's little stump, so many shelves of books. I went to the crime section, I always loved mystery novels, of course I rooted for the criminal. Most of them were about thieves but there were a few novels where a Pony is killed, those are my favorites. That's when I saw it, it was a history book. It was small and thin, only one hundred and twenty pages. A History of Serial Killers in Equestria. There are nine names in the book, the last one of them lived three hundred and fifty years ago.

These Serial Killers were ponies who had killed more than three other ponies. They went out and found victims and murdered them just like that. Like it was simple. It was so exciting and dangerous. When I read it I did not know what to make of any of it. These ponies, it was like a chasm was between me and them, a massive divide that couldn't be crossed, I coveted that book and these long since passed ponies who had done the unbelievable. It was few weeks ago is when I had a thought, there was no chasm, no divide just the will to do it. I have no life left to live and I thought I might as well be dead. That was when I realized there was nothing stopping me. Nothing, it was all right there in front of me, I could do this.

- Pinkamena.

Derpy sat under a tree in the park holding the small journal in her hooves. She placed the journal on the ground beside her cinnamon roll.Derpy tore off half ring of the roll.and popped it in her mouth taking her time chewing it. It's almost half gone, this is the best I've eaten in a while. She swallowed the pastry and turned her attention back to the journal. So this explains a lot, but why does she want to kill?

---

Sweet Apple Acres was first, Rainbow Dash glided over the orchard admiring the view from the sky. Row after row of apple trees dotted the landscape right into the horizon. One out of five apples in Equestria came from this farm. Three ponies worked the farm each and every day, Applejack worked six days a week, the rest were hired hooves. The orchard had seven full fields, three more than two years ago and five more since Applejack had taken over four years ago at age nineteen. She now employed up to fifteen ponies depending on the season. One pegasus for weather clearing during the harvest, Merry May a former alternate on Dashes Weather team. There was one unicorn Dash could vaguely remember being orange or red. He handled handle quality control since Granny Smith retired. She could not handle all the new fields, Unicorn magic sped up the process during harvest. The rest were Earth Ponies on rotating shifts harvesting, planting or transporting. Many of them were members of the family. It took two of them to make up for the loss of Big Macintosh. After all these years the farm was still a site to see.

Rainbow Dash spotted Big Macintosh below heading up to the farm house. She tipped into a dive angling towards the large pony. Spreading her wings to catch the current she slid in right alongside him.

"Hey Big Mac, hows thing?"

Big Mac turned his head slowly looking the cyan mare up and down before replying in a slow drawl. "Okay."

"What have you been up too?"

"Construction." He replied.

"With your back... Isn't that dangerous?" Rainbow Dash asked with a little worry.

"Supervising."

Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes. Trying to have a conversation with him was like gliding against the current, you never really get going. Rainbow sighed and gave it another shot. "Do you like supervising construction?"

"Yuuup."

Aaaand we're done here I see. Rainbow thought looking at the untalkative Stallion. Time to just ask the only question that matters. "Seen Applejack around?"

"Nooope"

Okay then time ta go. "Well see you around." Dash said flapping her wings lifting her up to a vantage over the farm. Where is that workaholic she thought surveying the farmland.

--- Section #1 Entry #2. ---

I am going to be a serial killer. It helps to say it out loud and write it down Makes it seem more real.. I almost can't believe it myself but I have already begun preparing. This hole I have been digging for the past few months below my storage room is beginning to look like a room. I got some bricks to make walls and beams to prop up the ceiling. It even amazes me sometimes how fast I can work. Maybe I should have considered construction. This room will give me some alone time with my guests. I decided to call them guests instead of victims; I like to think of these as parties. It's still a party with only one guest and I oh so want to have parties again. Doing whatever it is I plan to do just doesn't feel right in the street or at their home. I want it to happen in my space. The problem is that I don't know what I am going to do. I have read through this book several times and I just don't feel for what the others are doing. The way they kill, it feels empty for some reason. Strangling seems popular among the others in the book, maybe I will do that.

All for now. - Pinkamena.

---

Strangling... If only... Derpy thought. If only...

--- Section #1 Entry #3 ---

It has been three weeks and I am nowhere, I'm a patient pony of course but I want to do this. I just don't know what this is yet. I made more preparations; the room is finished for a start. I have bought a tarp to wrap the body in, some rope to bind it. No, no, no. She's not an it, her name is Diamond Mint. I want this to be closer, pony to pony, not an object, that is why I need her awake and aware of me. The problem is how do I stop a unicorns magic? I want her to look into my eyes but her magic has to go.

I'm rambling now, back on track. This is supposed to be a progress update. I have been watching her and have found several times a day when she is alone. The room now looks like a room and not a hole. I even have stairs. I bought some candles and torches to light the room and a work bench to write at. I might get electricity soon.

- Things to figure out.

* How to get her down here.

* How to stop her Magic

* How to do the actual... you know... partying.

* What to do with the body.

Until next time. - Pinkamena.

---

Whelp she certainly is... was making progress. Goal oriented is a good quality in a pony... right? Derpy thought while picking another piece off her cinnamon roll.

---

"Applejack, hey Applejack!" Dash yelled spotting the orange pony below bucking trees.

Applejack sighed seeing the approaching Cyan streak. "Look RD it's the middle of the work day. Can't you come back when I'm off?"

"It's 5 o'clock the days pretty much over Applejack."

"I just don't have the time." Applejack said bucking another tree.

A sudden anger filled Rainbow Dash at this common excuse. Rainbow Dash leaped towards the orange mare knocking her to the ground. Dash gripped Applejacks head in her fore hooves. "Well make the god damn bucking time Applejack! I have had it, had it! When is the last time we hung out, spent time together. You're making me beg for nothing and I can't take it anymore. Just tell me what does it take to be your friend Applejack." Rainbow Dash yelled.

"Get off of me." Applejack pushed the cyan mare off of her and stared her down irritation clear on her face. "I don't know who you think you are but..."

"But nothing, what is it going to be Applejack. I came here because Pinkie is sick in the hospital and I still care about her, I want her to be my friend and I hoped you would too. But I don't even know if you want to be my friend. Do you?"

Applejack face went blank and she stood silent in front of Rainbow Dash. "I have to work..." She muttered under her breathe. "The farms in trouble."

"Feathers Applejack, a Load of Feathers. The farm is not in trouble, Big Mac is a Construction Supervisor and you have a full staff. Sweet Apple Acres is three times as big as when you inherited it. You can afford a day off, you can afford two, and you can afford mornings, lunches and weeknights." Rainbow stood up and flapped her wings hovering just off the ground. "The only thing you can't afford is friends." She said flying off into the distance.

Applejack stood in shock choking down her emotion. "I don't need you I have Apples!" she yelled into the sky. Applejack shuffled slowly over to the nearest tree and sighed before bucking it.

Derpy facehoofed at the latest page of Pinkamena's self described inner darkness. I think I can take that whole she is a killer thing but does she have to be so melodramatic about it.

--- Section #1 Entry #6 ---

It's so close I can taste it now. I have the paralytic and the sedatives. Who would have guessed you could just order them through the mail anonymously and to a bit rented mailbox at that. Drug laws in Equestria are a joke, I always love a good joke.

So with everything I need prepared and my will still strong there is nothing left. It's time. I still don't know what I am going to do.

-Pinkamena.

---

Derpy popped the last piece of her Cinnamon Roll in her mouth. "The Sugar's all gone. It's time for the stomach ache." She whispered turning the page.

--- Section #1 Entry #6 ---

I'm not quite sure how to describe what happened. I guess I should just start from the beginning.

Grabbing her was harder than I would have expected. I was planning on knocking her out at first. I am lucky I decided to order a medical text book in my preparations. You can't just knock someone out, all those Films and mystery novels are wrong about that. If somepony is unconscious for more than five minutes it's a good chance they're not waking back up outside of a hospital. Even then they're most likely waking up retarded from oxygen loss.

Sedatives are harder than I thought too. They take a few minutes to get into the bloodstream just to make someone woozy let alone knock them out. The dose has to be perfect, a bit too much and they die, too little and they're dizzy for an hour but very much awake. The book said that a special doctor called an anesthesiologist prescribes the dosage so not to go to high and cause damage or not to low and cause well nothing.

It took me a week to finally get a handle on this. Maybe I should become a doctor. There are a lot of perks in that line of work Thousands of bits a week and you get to tell ponies they are dying and how long they have left. A career in substandard palliative care in a rundown hospital could just be the outlet I'm looking for. But then again I won't get my name in the history books doing that will I?

Back to the topic at hand. I cornered managed Diamond Mint in an alleyway behind her work at lunch time. Following her has shown me that she uses that alleyway every lunch hour to cut time off of her walk to the dinar around the block. Based on her height, length and thickness she weighs about 140lb's about one third of a bottle of sedative.  I pretended to be passing through the same alley wearing a sun hat and large saddle bags to disguise my identity. I hit her horn with a brick as I passed by her and then I tackled her to the ground. I put my weight increased by the heavy saddle bags on her back and held her mouth shut with a fore hoof. That's when I gave her the injection.

She struggled for about four minutes but I had her completely pinned. I bashed her horn with the brick every time it glowed. Each hit disoriented her further, Eventually she stopped moving. I used rope to bind her and a gag to silence her just in case I got my dose wrong. She is still asleep which is why I have time to

---

Why did it end like that? Derpy thought turning the page.

--- Section #1 Entry #7 ---

She woke up while I was writing the last entry. It's done now. She's dead.

Let me continue where I left off. I used the Sugarcube Corner Cart to drag her back hidden under a blanket. After that I used the paralytic serum and a syringe at the base of her horn to weaken her brains control over it. It could glow but that's about it..

Now for the part all of you have been waiting for. The part where I do my amazing work and reach the history books. What you're about to read will take you on a journey of...

---

"Oh brother." Derpy said shaking her head. I think she believes they are going to dedicate a statue to her or something... Well I guess they might turn her into one. I hear they do that. I think I will skip her Trixie impression and get to the part where she kills the damn pony already. Derpy flipped a couple of paragraphs and returned to reading the journal.

of the lie of a moral pony society and the safety it promised. But anyway back to what happened.

When she woke up she was so scared. Her whole body shook. It was all so exhilarating but I still wasn't sure what to do. I just stood behind her watching her cower in my basement. The first thing I had to do was make my presence know. Your introduction sets the tone for the rest of the relationship so you can't screw it up. I stepped behind her and pulled off her saddle and gag. I ran a fore hoof down her back and she shivered. She tried to turn her head to look at me but I kept behind her. Soon it had the desired effect and she spoke.

Who's there? she asked me. I rubbed the back of her neck and she told me this wasn't funny. I could hear the fear in her voice. I turned her head towards me to look her in her eyes and she started insulting and threatening me next. She called me that crazy mare who talks to turnips and said she would bash my crazy skull in. I am glad she had heard of me but it was very silly of her to be so rude while she was all tied up. I decided to show her how silly she was. I kicked her in the side with my fore hooves a few times. Minty squirmed around as if trying to defend herself. Oh I decided to call her Minty, a little nickname for my new friend. I grabbed her face and told her she had to calm down. She started to freaking out so I spoke to her like she a little foal. I told her it would be okay if she just did what I asked. Next she asked what she should do which made me remember that I hadn't decided.

I told Minty to be patient and that I would tell her what to do when I was ready. I sat in front of her staring into her eyes and stroking her face with my hoof. She tried to turn away and I struck her muzzle with my fore hoof and moved her head back facing me. She tried to shut her eyes and I struck her again. I told her to keep looking at me. I wanted Minty to stare into my eyes while I decided how she would die. She tried to speak and I struck her again, I didn't tell her why I hit her. Soon she tried to speak again and I again struck her. She understood not to speak after that. Her check started to swell and tears formed in her eyes. She started pulled slowly against the rope wrapped around her fore hooves and the rope tying her rear hooves as if trying to hide it. She started to struggle harder and after a few minutes trying to break out of her bonds. Finally I struck her a fifth time and she stopped moving

At that moment it had hit me, the inspiration I've been looking for all week, what I was going to do to her. Her eyes, I hadn't seen that look since I was a little filly. I didn't have to hide what I was doing, I didn't have to stop before I went too far and I didn't have to feel guilty about what I was doing. I could play with her to death. I looked over my beautiful prize, she was very beautiful and I licked my lips in anticipation. I could see her get uncomfortable so ease her discomfort I licked her lips as well. It didn't help much.

I let go of her face and told her to sit tight well I get some fun party favors and left the basement. I found everything that I needed to party with was just upstairs in the storage room. What few boxes I hadn't moved out had some old baking equipment. I brought the box downstairs and

---

Derpy felt a chill in the air. It's starting to get late, maybe I should just finish reading when I get home.  Derpy looked back down at the journal and sighed. This would be a lot more interesting if she explained what she did as a filly and why she was guilty about it... At least she can feel guilt. That's another plus right? Derpy stuffed the journal under her wing and took off for home.

---

Rainbow Dash stepped out of Carousel Boutique. She turned back to look at the boutique and sighed. Well that went about as well as I expected. Rarity had decided that she wasn't close enough to the pink mare to take the time to visit her in the hospital if she's only there for a couple of days. That her visiting after not talking for so long would be an insult anyway and that if she wanted to make amends this would not be the way. That's not true for me though, Pinkie knows I care about her. Besides Pinkie needs friends, Twilight is next up.

Dash turned the corner and the Tree Library came into view. She approached the door and raised her fore hoof to knock pausing for a moment. Maybe I should think about what to say. Rainbow thought taking a moment. The door in front of her opened and a small purple dragon stood in the doorway.

"Hey Rainbow Dash what are you doing." the Dragon asked.

"Oh hey Spike I was... umm... I mean... Books! I'm here to use the library for umm... the next Daring Do novel."

"Oookay sure come on in." Spike said eying the nervous pegasus "We get so few ponies here I sometimes forget that this is a library." He stepped aside to allow Rainbow Dash entry.

"Where's Twilight is she here?" Dash asked moving over to the fiction book shelf.

"She's upstairs studying star patterns again." Spike replied.

"Hey Spike... how's she doing?" Rainbow asked taking down a book.

"I don't know what you mean." Spike said his eyes shifting around.

"Yes you do." Dash said flatly.

Spike sighed. "Yes I do... She is so wrapped up in her work I don't know what to say to her anymore. She was getting better last year and now she's worse then she was before moving to Ponyville." Spike paced back and forth in front of Rainbow Dash. "We have to do something. I just know this is eating her up up inside."

"Well we can start by fixing things with Pinkie that's where this all started. Now's the perfect time, she's in the hospital and she could use a friends more than ever."

"Pinkie?" Spike scoffed. "Didn't you tell everypony that she was a crazy, twitchy, creepy, madmare who talks to rocks and flour sacks?"

"I overreacted okay! Pinkie is perfectly normal, well as perfectly normal as Pinkie can be. She isn't crazy!" Dash said defensively.

---

Derpy's face flushed as she skimmed over the last paragraph again. That was a lot of rape for one pony. she mused. I wonder how she felt being forced to... I mean to... well with her tongue. I mean I never had to but... I wonder what Pinkamena tasted like?

Derpy rubbed her head with a fore hoof. You just read about a pony getting raped and this is what you're thinking about what is wrong with you. Her inner voice chided.

Derpy looked back down at the book. I'm sure I will care about this after the torture parts she thought to herself turning back to the book.

--- Section #1 Entry #7 Continued ---

It made a delicious cracking sound when it hit her fore hooves. I could see the cracks in her hooves and the way her wrists hung I knew they were broken. The knife sharpening rod felt heavy, thick and solid in my hooves. More so now than when I used it to in the kitchen. It was as perfect for beating her hide and cracking her bones as it was for violating her. I don't doubt that this toy will be a favorite of mine.

I untied the knots on the rope binding her fore hooves and then yanked off the rope. She gave such a beautiful scream when her cracked wrists were jerked up by the rope. The look in her eyes, I could only describe it as utter despair. What she said next gave me shivers. "I did everything you asked. Please you promised to let me go." It was so cute, she was crying and everything. I wrapped a fore leg around her shoulder and I nipped and licked at her ear. She cringed as I told her what a good mare she was. I giggled and told her what a warm and soft tongue she had. The look of disgust that crossed her face made me giddy. I rubbed her face with my hoof and told her that gem cutting was a waste and that I found her real special talent.

She tried to shove me back. What a big mistake. What a funny mistake. The second her broken hooves pushed me the scream just echoed around the room. I almost had to cover my ears. Nothing is funnier than watching a mare try to nurse a broken hoof with another broken hoof. It was like a game of desperate hot potato.

I think it was about then that my contempt for this stupid mare had reached its limit. It was just about time to get rid of her. Those pleading eyes still held hope though, desperate determined hope that she might go home. Just a sliver of hope but it was still there. I decided to take it before I took her. I didn't know what else to do though, she wouldn't have believed anything short of letting her go. So I decided I would let her go.

I told her she could leave. She just looked at me confused. Go I told her and pointed to the stairs. She started to realize what I meant and asked for help getting up them. I laughed at her plea and told her that if she couldn't walk up a flight of stairs she wasn't worthy enough to live. She begged me to at least untie her rear hooves first. I let her beg but after a while she stopped and waited for my answer. I told her she didn't do a good enough job to deserve the use of her rear legs. That she didn't do enough to deserve to leave but I would give her chance to make it out with her fore hooves.

After a minute or so she finally stood and stared at the twenty step staircase. She was in to much pain to notice that I tied a knot in her tail and a rope through the knot. Eventually she started to move. I honestly thought she wouldn't make it. When she stood up wobbling on her bound hind legs and pushed against the heavy trap door she let out a shriek and collapsed to the floor. I stood there and watched her crying at the top of stairs. She started mumbling about everything she was going to do when she got out of here. Talk to her parents, tell her boss she loved him, take up the violin, stuff like that. Listing all of her hopes and dreams as if she was going to escape. I ordered her to try again. I told her it was her last chance to get out.

She stood up again and placed her fore hooves against the door. I gave the rope a little tug pulling her tail just a bit. She turned her head and looked at me finally seeing my rope tied around her tail. Her face was so hilarious, it was the look of a comic book character who runs off a cliff and floats there for a few seconds looking down before falling. She screamed at me not to do it. I pulled as hard as I could and watched her tumble down the steps back into my tender hooves. Well the floor first, then my hooves.

She was pretty beaten up from the fall. I decided to gag her before she could complain. I pulled a butchers knife from the box of kitchen supplies and asked her if she really ever thought she was getting out of here. I have never seen such a look of devastation on anyponies face before. I told her that for being so pathetically optimistic I would take my sweet time ending her. I pressed the knife into her chest not to deep. Unfortunately for me on my first cut I accidentally hit an artery and she was gone within seconds. Good bye Diamond Mint.

So that's that. I am now a murderer. I took my first life and I feel so good. Not how I planned it, only a half job but still good. I almost want to draw the next number right now but that would attract to much suspicion. So I will sit tight. Find a good book on anatomy so I don't make the same mistakes. Maybe buy some more party favors. I will need to get rid of the body. I definitely need something to get rid of the blood. A tarp, maybe someday install a drain or a shower or something. It's everywhere. I'm not looking forward to cleaning this up. So much to do.

I better sneak upstairs and wash myself, I have work in a couple of hours.

- Pinkamena.

---

Derpy finished the entry and flipped the page. Well that was horrifying and about what I imagined. I still don't feel anything though. Well it was her first try and she screwed up, I am sure the second victim will get me to care. Pokey Peirce, I don't know that name.

---

Spike sighed. "Rainbow Dash how will visiting Pinkie help Twilight."

"Losing her friendship started all this. Maybe we can take it all back. If we fix things with Pinkie we can get things back to normal." Dash said while reading the jacket of the new Daring Do novel. "I'm getting tired of the most exciting thing in my life being the DD novel's. I've read all the old ones five times over at least."

"The most exciting thing in my life now is when Twilight says I'm done work. I think I'm down to one hour of sleep a night now" Spike said. "I'll try to get Twilight down here."

Spike walked up the stairs into Twilight's room. Twilight was hunched over her telescope.

"Twilight?"

"What is it Spike?" Twilight said without looking up from her telescope.

"You have a guest downstairs."

Twilight sighed. "Can you tell them to come later?"

"It's important. Rainbow Dash needs to speak to you."

"And since when was anything Rainbow Dash ever said important?" Twilight said rolling her eyes then refocusing them back onto the telescope.

"She's your friend Twilight!" Spike yelled.

"And she'll be my friend tomorrow when I have time." Twilight replied with a hint frustration.

"Who do you think you're kidding? No, you won't have time tomorrow! You will be to busy looking down that stupid telescope or have your nose in some ancient book! If you're not going to talk to her at least have the horn to say so!" Spike screamed his patients at an end.

Twilight looked up from the Telescope. "I do important work Spike. I don't need these constant distractions. What would Princess Celestia think if I missed sending in a celestial or magical applications report."

"I would say she would care about as much as she does when you send them."

Twilight's eyes went wide. "What does that mean?"

"You know exactly what that means." Spike said nonchalantly.

Twilight started to fume. "I... I do important work and the princess knows that!"

"Did." Spike said under his breath.

"What did you say!" Twilight screamed.

"You heard me."

"Do you honestly believe she cares that I am not studying the magic of friendship? That assignment is over. It's done, I finished it." Twilight said defensively.

Spike laughed. "Do you honestly believe she cares that you are studying star charts and spells. She cares about you and now you're a friendless shut in right back where you started three years ago. How do you think she feels about that?" Spike looked up at Twilight with concern. "Rainbow Dash is waiting for you downstairs and Pinkie is in the hospital. You should go."

Twilight stood still for a moment staring at the Dragon. Her eyes narrowed. "No! My work is important and Celestia knows this! She cares about my work!" Twilight sobbed. "She... cares..."

"Twilight I..." Spike started.

"No get out! Get Out!" Twilight screamed. "Just go I don't need you!"

Spike ran from the room leaving a ranting Twilight behind.

Dash stood at the bottom of the stairs trying to listen in. She could barely make out any words but from the sound of the shouting it didn't sound good. She dove to the side as a purple blur passed her by. "Spike! What happened?"

"She isn't coming" Spike grumbled.

"Yeeeah... I guessed that." Dash said rolling her eyes. "What now?"

"Nothing." Spike whispered. "Nothing at all. Good luck getting the others together Dash."

"Are you coming?" Dash asked.

"I would, really but there is something I have to take care of. I've been putting it off for far too long." Spike said walking away.

Dash sighed. Fluttershy is next. Rainbow Dash walked out the door and took off.

---

Derpy lay at the edge of her bed her rear legs dangling over the side and her fore hooves crossed behind her head. Finishing the last section of the journal she thought about it's contents. Seven sections. Seven lives ended. Seven ponies ridiculed, raped, tortured and killed. Two unicorns, one pegasus and four earth ponies. Five mares and two stallions. All intermittent with Pinkamena's lame sense of humor, condescending attitude, massive ego and bloated self importance. Is that what I care about? How annoying Pinkamena acted..

I felt nothing for them... Well that's not true, while Golden Harvest was begging for her life she listed all the ponies she didn't want to leave. At least twenty of them and none of them me. I guess deep down I knew I meant that little to her. I still just thought I would care even a little. I always thought deep down I was a good pony.

Derpy rubbed her eyes with her fore hooves her long day wearing her out. How could I just not care about them. About their families and their lives. I mean I don't have family and don't care if I live but that doesn't mean... Derpy sat up in shock and tumbled over the side of the bed onto the floor. ...I don't care if I live or die... When did that happen. Derpy looked around her decrepit shack that only her and Pinkamena had ever seen the inside of. I guess the real question is when did I not feel this way. Derpy thoughts turned back to Pinkamena.

I guess all that's left is to go see her.

---

Dash stood outside Fluttershy's home in despair. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid... I'm so stupid. Why did I have to go off on a tangent about that retarded mailmare... No why did I have to make fun of Derpy's stupid appearance. After Fluttershy's accident she... I should have known it would hurt her. I'm so stupid.

---

Twilight walked down the stairs from her room into the main library. "Spike. Spike where are you? I just wanted to say I'm sorry Spike. I shouldn't have blown up at you. Maybe we should go see Pinkie together." Twilight looked around the room. "Where are you hiding Spike?"

Twilight spotted a note on the table. She trotted over to it and started to read it.

Dear Twilight Sparkle.

I am sorry Twilight. I can't be your number #1 assistant anymore. I've tried everything to help you but I kept failing. Maybe you really are happier this way. You deserve an assistant as dedicated as you are. I want to have a life and friends. We don't even talk as friends anymore just co-workers. I just can't do this job from morning to night, I need a life. I have cleaned out my stuff and am on my way back to Canterlot.

I will miss you so much Twilight. I hope you find happiness in your work.

-Spike

Twilight stood in stone shock at the letter. "Why?" she whispered under her breath. "Why!?" Twilight yelled at the top of her lungs. She bucked the table onto it's side and then she collapsed onto her haunches. Tears began to form in her eyes. "I need help." she said to herself.

Twilight shuffled across the room to her writing desk.

Dear Princess Celestia.

I don't know what to do anymore your majesty. I have pushed away all my friends. There's no one left here and I don't know how to fix any of this.

I haven't been writing you about friendship reports because I don't have any left. I haven't spoken to Applejack in weeks. Fluttershy had a horrible accident and I don't see her anymore. Pinkie Pie we all avoided after she lost it. Rarity I think has found new friends. Rainbow Dash has been trying to put things back together between us but we all ignore her.

What I learned about friendship this week is that if you ignore it, it goes away. Spike's gone Princess. I took him for granted and stopped listening to him and now he's gone too.

Please help me Princess, I don't know what to do.

- Your faithful Student Twilight Sparkle.

Finishing her letter Twilight turned away and said. "Spike I need you to send..." Her voice echo'd off the walls of the empty room as she remembered she was alone.

Twilight turned back to the desk and put her head down on it. She wrapped her fore legs around her head and began to cry.

---

Rainbow Dash crawled under the covers of her bed. She turned to the clock: 10:30 PM She had never felt more alone then today. Tomorrow's all I have left. she thought. If things don't go well with Pinkie I don't know what I'm... I'm going to do.

---

Derpy yawned crawling into bed. She looked at the clock 3:30 AM. After spending most of the night reading it she snuggled up against her pillow I'm going to be late to see Pinkamena tomorrow and I still don't have answers. Derpy thought as she slowly faded off to sleep.

Chapter 5

"Miss? Miss Pinkamena? You need to wake up now.... I need you to get up." A calm but stern mare said

Pinkamena's eyes fluttered open. The bright light of the morning sun burned and she rolled over burying her face her pillow. She pulled the covers over her hear. "Go away." Pinkamena said to the voice.

"You need to get up now Miss. We need to examine you."

"Five more minutes please." Pinkamena said scrunching the pillow around her ears.

"You've been asleep for over thirty hours Miss. It's time to get up."

Pinkamena pulled her head up from the pillow squinting her eyes to get used to the blinding light. "Thirty hours? I've been asleep thirty hours. I... How did I get here?"

"Your friend the Grey Pegasus with eyes brought you in." the voice said.

Pinkamena turned to the mare in the door blinking her eyes. "Who are you?"

"Just the day nurse. The Doctor will be along to examine in a few minutes."

Pinkamena sat up slowly with some difficulty. It felt like her joints were filled with sand. "What am I doing here?"

"You overdosed on barbiturates" The nurse held out a fore leg. "Take my hoof."

Pinkamena reached out slowly to to grip the nurses hoof but missed it. "What's going on" Pinkamena groaned.

"Tell me your full name, where you are, how you feel and why your here." The nurse said.

"W... what. you know all that stuff. Why am I having trouble moving my..."

"Please answer the question right now miss." The Nurse said in a serious tone.

Pinkamena sighed. "Pinkamena Diane Pie, Ponyville Hospital, like shit and I overdosed."

"Okay you're not having difficulty thinking. That's a good sign. You are experiencing coordination problems, sluggishness, slowness of breathe and drowsiness."

"No kidding..." Pinkamena said rolling her eyes.

"Those are all symptoms of the overdose."

"And the pain?" Pinkamena asked.

"Where is this pain?"

"My back it hurts."

"It's probably bed sores. You were in a coma for about 36 hours. Roll over onto your back."

Pinkamena slowly rolled over onto her back. "I woke up last night for a few minutes. A pony I know named Fluttershy paid a visit."

The nurse cringed."Yeah we all know Fluttershy, poor dear."

Pinkamena smirked "You think she's ugly."

"What?"

"I said you think she's ugly."

"No, no I don't think that." the nurse replied.

"So then you think she is good looking."

The nurse looked uncomfortable. "Well I mean she's..."

"Has holes in her face." Pinkamena interrupted flatly. "Big fleshy holes. Isn't that cute." Pinkamena could hear the nurse shutter and wretch at her comments.

"You're cruel, making fun of her just because she is ugly."

Pinkamena laughed. "I didn't say she was ugly. I asked if you thought she was ugly and you just said so. You forgot a symptom overdosing. Faulty Judgement. Do you think my judgement is faulty? "

The nurse huffed and looked away. "Your sores are fine, they'll heal up once you get out of bed. The doctor will be along soon and your family is in the lobby. I will send them in, in a few minutes." she then walked out of the room.

Pinkamena laid on her stomach began to stretch out her legs. She heard the door open behind her.

The Doctor walked into the room. "Miss Pinkamena I'm your Doctor. Doctor Wellness. It's nice to..." The Doctors jaw dropped as he spotted his patient. Her hind legs splayed open on the bed slowly swishing her tail back and forth.

"Are you here to examine me?" Pinkamena asked slowly with a building emphasis on each word.

"I... I... umm maybe you should... role over." The Doctor said nervously.

"Why? Do you want to listen to my heart beat Doctor. It's mean of you to make me role over when I'll just need to role right back when you check my aching back." Pinkamena swished her tail brushing it up against her thigh. "Come here and take a closer look."

"O... Okay" Doctor Wellness stuttered trotting towards the mare. He touched a fore hoof to the red welt on the pink mares back.

"Mmmn, that feels nice can you rub my back?"

"This... Isn't appropriate Miss I..."

"Please sir. My back hurts and I would really appreciate it." Pinkamena said while slowly licking her lips. The Doctor pressed his fore hooves clumsily onto her back. Pinkamena winced from discomfort. "Mmmn that feels good Doctor, you have magic hooves." she lied.

"Umm, Thank you Miss."

Pinkamena's eyes suddenly went wide with a look of fear and tears formed in the corner of her eyes. Her whole body started trembling. "Why are you doing this and why do you want my hind legs to be spread open?" Pinkamena whimpered loudly.

The Doctors look turned to confusion. "I don't underst..."

"What the buck are you doing to our step daughter!?" A loud stallions voice called from behind the Doctor. Doctor Wellness swung his head around to see a very angry pair of Earth Ponies. A yellow stallion and a blue mare.

"No, no you don't understand she asked for it."

Pinkamena suppressed a giggle. She could swear that she actually heard the moment Mrs. Cake snapped.

"She asked for this!?" Mrs. Cakes eyes went from shocked to narrow. ""You scum sucking little buck I'll kill you!!!" she screamed.

The Doctor looked down at the mare he had his hooves on. "Please explain to them that..." the Doctor started to say with fear in his voice.

"Why... why did you want me to spread legs Doctor" Pinkamena cried with tears streaming down her face.

"I... I..." The Doctor started.

"Get your hooves off of her now!" Mr. Cake yelled.

The Doctor jumped back from the crying mare and fell to the floor.

Pinkamena watched Hospital Security drag a ranting Doctor Wellness out of her room as he screamed about how she was a slut and wanted it. Pinkamena laid back on her bed forelegs crossed behind her head. Facing her head away from the door and towards the wall she smirked. I bet no pony will be asking why I overdosed for a long while. she thought.

*Beep Beep Beep*

"I'm up!" Rainbow Dash shouting

*Beep Beep Beep*

"I said I'm..." Rainbow Dash pulled her head out of her pillow. "Right your an alarm clock." she said bringing her hoof down on the off switch.

*Crack*

"Well you were an Alarm Clock." Rainbow Dash shook her head. Most important day of life... Get this right. Rainbow Dash scarfed down her breakfast, groomed and flew out the door. As Rainbow Dash left she caught site of the little hovel below her home. That's where that retard lives. Pinkie deserves better. Rainbow Dash scooped up a raincloud and left it hovering over over the small shack before darting off into the distance.

Rainbow Dash landed outside the hospital and checked in at the front desk for a Visitor ID. She sat in the lobby for about an hour waiting to be allowed  Dash with increasing anxiety wondered what the hold up was. Did she say no or is she still hurt they wouldn't tell me anything. Stay calm, Pinkie will understand. I mean we threw a party together. So what if she gotten a little shy, we'll be back to BFF's in no time flat.

Nurse Redheart walked out from behind the front desk up to the worrying pegasus. "She can see you now. Sorry it took so long we had a..." Her voice went down to a whisper "staff issue to sort out." Her eyes shifted back and forth looking around the crowd in the waiting room. "You can head on up to see her now."

Rainbow Dash walked through the hospital to Pinkie's room. Okay here goes nothing. Rainbow Dash stepped through the door into the pink mares room. She was sitting up in her bed, her long hair flowing down her back. It was a little bit disheveled in comparison to the fine sheets it usually fell in. I guess two days worth of bed head will do that to ya. she thought. Pinkamena slowly turned her head to look into Dash's eyes.

---

Of course that idiot would come here. Pinkamena thought looking at the cyan mare in the door. She took in her appearance. She doesn't look like she has had much sleep. She seems tired. I wonder if I looked that bad when my friends abandoned me. Pinkamena stared into Dash's eyes. They look so... desperate. Full of sorrow but with a little bit of hope

"Hi Pinkie. I heard about what happened to you. I came to see if you were okay." Rainbow Dash said nervously.

Pinkamena stared at the nervous mare. She really isn't taking the being blown off by her friends very well.

"Where did you go during the party? What happened? We were supposed to host it together."

Pinkamena heard the confusion in Rainbow Dash's voice. She began to suck on her lower lip as she thought back to her... fun after she left the party

"Well?"

Pinkamena snapped out of her thoughts. "I went to hangout with Derpy. You'll notice I don't host many parties anymore..." At least that you know of dear Dashie. But that's going to be a big surprise for you. Pinkamena thought.

"Derpy" Rainbow Dash scoffed. "Why would you want to hang around that lame-o."

"You sounded just like Gilda." Pinkamena said giggling. "Derpy's my best friend and your jealous."

"But I'm your best friend." Dash said in a sad voice. Her eyes went to the floor.

"You? Really? My best friend huh. Hey I have a question. Which pegasus became my friend when I was unpopular and which one tried to crawl back when she became unpopular."

"I bucked up okay. I bucked up badly. But I don't want it to end like this. I want to be where we were. I want us to all be where we were. I even tried to get the others to visit the hospital with me. Once you're back we'll all be fine again, they won't hate you forever."

You're right it won't end like this. I've already written your ending. Pinkamena thought "They don't hate me anymore Dashie they hate you. Fluttershy came to visit me last night alone... Without you. Oh and Rarity sent me this wonderful card." Pinkamena picked up one of the few cards on her bedside table. She opened and began to read. "I know we aren't on the best of terms anymore but I want to wish you well and hope that you get better soon. -Rarity" Pinkamena put the card down. "I guess they just didn't want to come here with you. Just like they didn't come to your party. When is the last time you really hung out with any of them. They've all moved on and left you in the dust. For once Dashie you are the slowest pony in Equestria."

"It's not true... You said we could be friends again. That day in your home when I came to visit. You said you would be glad too."

Images of chalk dust and mixed up sedatives flooded Pinkamena's mind. The worst part of that day was pretending to wanted to be friends with the annoying mare. "Oh yeah... so I did."

I said I'd be her friend again to get close to her... Spring the trap and have my fun with her. Great job that's doing... I need a new strategy to catch Dash. I will have to consult with Lieutenant Rocky when I get back to home base / my room. When's the last time I played with my toys anyways?

"So we're friends again?" Dash said jarring Pinkamena out of her thoughts.

"I'll have to consult with Lieutenant Rocky" Pinkamena said distracted.

"Umm what now, you mean that Pile of Rocks" Dash asked confused.

Pinkamena facehoofed. See this is why everypony thinks I am crazy... inside thoughts stay inside. Still though I'm tired of pretending to be amicable with that thing. I'll catch her whether she likes me or not.

"Pinkie?"

Well if I am going to dump this charade I might as well have fun with it. Pinkamena thought.

"I was wrong. I''m not glad to be your friend again. In fact I am sickened by it. It's not surprising that you have no more friends Dash. They are tired of putting up with you."

"W... wha... what? I... You can't mean..." Dash stuttered in shock.

"Fluttershy can't even stand you long enough for a hospital visit, Rarity thinks you are barbarian, Applejack dumped you for a few extra bits and Twilight would rather do homework. That is what your so called best friends think of you." Pinkamena giggled. "You're pathetic Rainbow Dash."

"That's not true your just jealous because!" Dash yelled.

Pinkamena cut her off. "Because you convinced every pony in town that I was crazy... Shocking why anypony would have a problem hanging around you."

"That... that was an accident."

Pinkamena grinned. "Lets talk about what's not an accident Rainbow Dash. Your constant pipe dreams about being a Wonderbolf for starters."

"I am going to be a Wonderbolt. I am the fastest pegasus in Equstria."

"Oh that's great, you should join the Pegasus drag racing circuit. Sure they're not as famous but they're holding a bake sale to buy uniforms. That will really shake things up for them." Pinkamena said in mock enthusiasm.

"I preformed a Sonic Rainboom!" Dash yelled.

"Annnd they didn't take you. I guess being a one trick pony just isn't what they're looking for."

"I... I have plenty of time to make them see how great I am." Dash said in an unsure voice.

"Really? They start training new members at sixteen. Your twenty-two now Dash. You're just too old to join the Wonderbolts. You'd have a better chance of getting in if you were sixteen and an Earth Pony instead of a twenty two year old pegasus. Any member your age has been on the team for eight years and they all retire at around twenty six. You missed the Cloud Dashie." Pinkamena felt giddy as the mare in front of her started to tear up. Time to add the finishing touch. Pinkamena thought maliciously.

"Let's paint a picture of Rainbow Dash's future shall we. A sixty year old pegasus third in command of Ponyvilles weather team who could have led the team but she needs to spend all her time training for the Wonderbolts. No friends, no family and everypony thinks your stuck up because you'll still be bragging about how awesome you are. Oh and my bits are on you being an alcoholic as well."

Rainbow stood staring at the wide grinning Pinkamena her mouth hung open in shock. She could feel the tears start to fall and didn't care enough to try to hold them back. "You.. you..." Rainbow Dash started before running out of the room. The last thing she heard was the pink mare shout after her.

"You're going to die old, alone and unknown Rainbow Dash!" Pinkamena was overjoyed at her work. Well you're going to die a lot sooner then that Dashie. I hope you don't off your self first. she thought before settling back into bed. I wonder where Derpy is. I thought she would have visited by now.

---

Dash huffed out of breath. She felt like collapsing on the street. She had run from the hospital to Ponyville town square. Her life as she knew it was over, Her last play was felled by the friend she thought she could count on, the friend that two month ago she had pitied for being in the same position she is in now. Unable to run any further she flipped her mane in front of her face to hide the damp fur beneath her eyes. She just couldn't go home to that big empty cloud castle with no progress and no friends left. She just couldn't be alone right now so she stood in Town Square surrounded by Ponies that went about their day not paying her a hoofs attention. In the back of her mind the thoughts of loosing her chance at ever joining the Wonderbolts crushed her. Alone, no friends and no future.

Worst of all to her it was like some big open secret. The thought of everypony around her knew of these things. That they all thought of her as arrogant, a chore to put up with and annoying. They thought her bragging about someday being a Wonderbolt and how great she was at flying was pathetic but nopony had the guts or worse, cared to tell her.

Rainbow Dash turned a corner and in between the hairs of her main spotted the dilapidated ruins of the post office that had burnt down on Nightmare Night. It was surrounded by construction ponies. A perfect example of my life. she thought looking at the crumbled building. At least they are trying to rebuild it. Putting it back together. Dash sighed. Look where that has got me. Looking through her mane she noticed somepony staring at her,

Big Macintosh approached Rainbow Dash and stood in front of her quietly staring. "Hi there Rainbow Dash" he said after a few moments.

"You're rebuilding the post office huh." Dash said weakly."It looks like a lot of work."

"Nope. We're tearing it down. It's to broken to bother recovering."

A sob escaped Rainbow Dash. "I gotta go." Dash whimpered turning to run off.

"Yah look a mite pathetic there. Like a lost puppy." Big Mac said.

Dash's eyes shot open and she turned around fast her mane flung from her face. She was unable to believe her ears. "Wh... what?!"

Big Macintosh took a moment to take in the other mares appearance. It was much worse then he thought. Her mane was in tatters even after it was out of her face. Her wide eyes were puffy and the fur of her was face damp. Her mouth hung open and her lips trembled. Her fur was patchy like it had been scrubbed to hard and more then a few feathers were out of place. Her legs shook under her frame which looked to have some lost weight. Worst of all was the way she carried herself Tired.

"Yeah..." Rainbow Dash sighed. "I'm just one big joke aren't I. An Arrogant and annoying pony with no friends who brags about nothing. Who won't shut up about how great she is. Want to hear about how I'm going to become a Wonderbolt this year for sure and about how awesome Sonic Rainbooms are." Dash had a hard look in her eye. "You're the only pony who has the guts to say it." Dash started to breathe more rapidly. "Come on everypony you know it's true just say it!  Say I'm pathetic!" Dash yelled at the top of her lungs as ponies around her turned there heads ton gawk at the sight before turning back to their friends to talk about what they just seen.

Big Mac turned back to the construction site. "Gimme fifteen minutes!" he yelled before nudging Rainbow Dash into an alleyway.

Rainbow dash collapsed against the wall of the alley and slid onto the ground. "Oh Celestia what have I done." Rainbow Dash cried. "And in the town square..."

"What happened?" Bic Mac asked.

"You called me pathetic. You of all ponies. Why?...  Why does everypony say your nice."

Big Mac stared at the crying mare huddled on the ground. "Because you looked pathetic." He sighed. "But I didn't know it was this bad. Not like a puppy at all"

"Just go away." Rainbow Dash whimpered.

"Nope."

"Go!" Dash shouted

"I won't."

"Why?" Rainbow dash asked.

"Do I need a reason besides caring?" Big Mac asked.

"Just go. I don't need any pony seeing me."

"No friends, Wonderbolts, arrogance." Big Mac started listing off her rantings.

"Buck you!" Dash yelled spreading her wings. Big Macs hoof came down on her left wing pinning it to the ground. "Let me go." Dash said coldly her eyes narrowing at Big Mac.

"What is going on with you? Why were you walking through the middle of town looking like that? Why didn't you fly away sooner."

"Because, just because... I don't want to be alone okay. Now let me go."

Big Mac stared into Rainbow Dash's eyes. "Well you got what yah want. You aren't alone."

"Wish I was." Dash muttered.

"What happened?"

"I'm not telling you." Dash said.

"Are you afraid of loosing your pride?" Big Mac asked softly.

Dash buried her head in her fore legs. "What pride?"

"What happened?" Big Mac asked again more forcefully.

Dash gave a loud sigh. "your not going to give up are you."

"Nop..." Big Mac started before cutting himself off. He looked down at the scruffy mare. "No Rainbow Dash I'm not." He took his hoof off of Dash's wing and sat down next to her. "I'm here for you."

Dash sighed and began to explain the events of the past year. Her screw up with Pinkie Pie, growing apart from Twilight and Rarity, Applejacks constant working, Fluttershy's accident and how she just kept putting her hoof in her mouth when she tried to talk to Fluttershy. She went on to what Pinkie said about the Wonderbolts and how everypony thinks of her as a braggart. Big Mac just sat quietly beside her.

"I feel like the post office, so brunt I might as well just fall down."

"We're building a new one a block down. It will be up in a week."

"I've tried rebuilding my life. Look where it's gotten me."

Big Mac opened his mouth then closed it again then paused trying to think of a response. "Well... Ya tried salvaging your life, not rebuilding it. What ya had is gone now, ya should to start over."

"You make it sound easy. All I ever wanted is to be a Wonderbolt. What am I supposed to do now."

"All I ever wanted to do since I was little..." Big Mac smiled. "well what counts as little fer me, is work on the farm and when I hurt ma back I couldn't buck a single tree." Bic Mac sighed. "I've moved on."

Rainbow dash scoffed. "And work the rest of my life as some lame weather pony. Just live my life like... like..."

"Like everypony else." Big Mac cut her off. He reached out a fore leg and turned Dash's head towards him. "From what I see being a normal pony might not be so bad."

"What's the point if I don't have any friends. Everypony thinks I'm so stuck up."

Big Mac rolled his eyes. "Whelp... I reckon ya don't be stuck up then. Pegasus still look up ta ya. Go talk to some of them on even hooves. I'm sure they'll be yer friends."

"So that's it. It's over. I just leave my friends. Abandon them all and move on. Leave Fluttershy an angry shut in, Pinkie a cruel pariah, Twilight a workaholic, Rarity whatever her deal is and Applejack is just plain..." Dash looked up at Big Mac. "Uh... Perfect the way she is." Dash gave a nervous chuckle,

"Greedy an pig headed is more like it." Big Mac said with a scowl. "Don't give up on er... or them. They have there own problems right now. Just don't make your whole life about them. Ya don't have to fall apart there problems."

"Just rebuild my life."

"Yuuup."

"Just like that."

"Yuuup."

"It's going to be hard without any friends. I don't want to go home."

"I'm your friend." Big Mac said putting a hoof on her shoulder. "But I'm going to have to get back to work soon."

"Since when..." Rainbow Dash asked confused.

"Whelp fer about five minutes now."

Rainbow Dash looked up at Big Mac. "Thank you." Big Mac smiled and turned to walk away. "Wait!" Dash called after him. "I think this is the most I ever heard you say. You're usually so quite."

"Yuuup..." Big Mac paused for a moment. "When it's important."

"It really hurt when you called me pathetic..."

"Sometimes you have to be blunt with somepony. I've watched yah fallin apart fer weeks now. I didn't know it was this bad. I would have been nicer if I..." Big Mac smiled. "Ya look a lot better now."

Rainbow lowered her eyes taking a moment to think through what Big Mac said. "You have to be blunt even if you know the truth will hurt them. I guess but Pinkie was blunt with me and... it hurt a lot. Not like this but... it just hurt. If I have to blunt with somepony I know... How do I know if I will hurt them or help them."

"Ya don't always know but say what's in your heart. If you mean well an care they'll understand."

Rainbow Dash grinned wide. "Thanks, you helped me twice today." Dash hopped up into the air and hovered. "Time to start rebuilding!" she shouted taking off into the sky.

Big Mac watched silently as the cyan mare darted off into the distance. She really is a fast pony. He thought before turning and slowly making his way back to the burnt post office.

---

Fluttershy lay on the floor of her cottage surrounded by clutter. Angel limped about the room trying to clean up.

"You don't have to do that Angel dear. I'll help you when I feel a little stronger." The bunny collapsed on the floor. "Oh you poor dear. Don't overwork yourself because of me."

*Click Click Click.*

"What's that noise?" Fluttershy heard the front door to her home open. "Who... who's there?" she called out nervously.

Rainbow dash walked into the living room. "Hey Fluttershy I stopped by for a visit."

"Oh it's you." she sighed. "This isn't a good time and... wait I locked the door."

"Yeah I picked it." Dash replied. "So how have you been?"

"You...You picked the lock? ... You broke in." Fluttershy's jaw dropped. "Get out of my home!"

"No."

Fluttershy looked into the cyan mares eyes. She could see the ever present disgust in them. "Go. Leave and don't come back."

"No."

"You can't say no this is my home."

"I can and I did. I'm not going anywhere. You're going to have to throw me out." Dash said looking at the pegasus sprawled out in front of her.

"Fine." Fluttershy began to push herself up onto her hooves before collapsing back onto the ground. She seethed with rage as she laid impotent and immobile on the floor. "Y... you bucking bitch. Get out I don't want you here. I don't want to be your friend Rainbow Dash get that through that thick skull of yours."

"I'm good here Fluttershy." Dash said nonchalantly. "I'm just gonna clean this place up a bit." Rainbow Dash began to walk around the living room picking up tissues and throwing them into the trash.

"I can clean my own home. If I need help I have my Angel, I don't need you."

Dash looked over to the sleeping bunny laying next to a pile of books he was stacking. She picked up the bunny in her mouth and walked him over to his bed and put him down. Dash turned to Fluttershy "Let's let Angel rest. I'll clean up a bit. I won't take no for an answer. Okay?"

"Don't look at me." Fluttershy growled.

"What?"

"I said don't look at me! Clean whatever the buck you want but don't look at me!" Fluttershy shouted.

Dash took a step towards Fluttershy. "What do you mean. W... why? Why can't I look at you?"

Fluttershy hid her eyes behind her mane. "I said stop looking at me." Dash lowered her head. "Stop looking at..."

"I'm not, I'm not!" Dash shouted.

Fluttershy peaked up from behind her mane. "Good." she whispered.

"I... I don't think..." Rainbow Dash stuttered then paused. "Why can't I look at you?"

"You don't think what Rainbow Dash? That I'm ugly, hideous, disgusting?" Fluttershy growled. "I can see it in your eyes."

"I don't!"

"Look at me!" Fluttershy yelled. Dash looked up at Fluttershy and she stuck her tongue through one of the two holes in her check. Dash started to gag and covered her mouth with a foreleg. Fluttershy glared angrily at Dash.

Rainbow Dash looked away from Fluttershy's cold eyes. She could feel the hurt and anger from the other mare. Dash racked her brain trying to think of something to say to smooth it over but she knew Fluttershy was right. I don't like how she looks, the scarred skin, the mangled wing the holes in her face and even the way the left side of her face droops. It looks so gross.

"I really think it's time for you to leave Rainbow Dash. Don't come back here again." Fluttershy said quietly looking away.

Dash started to feel tired, the familiar stress from earlier in the day coming back to her. I came here to be tough, for her own good. Am I just hurting her? I guess I have no choice but to leave. Dash sighed and lifted her head to take one last look at her now former friend.

"I said stop looking at me! Everypony else has the decency to look away, even my doctors. I am tired of your taunting eyes. Stop looking at me!"

Rainbow Dash took a step towards Fluttershy. "Even your Doctors? What pony does look at you Fluttershy?"

"... I'm not somepony to be looked at anymore..." Fluttershy whispered. Rainbow Dash took another couple of steps towards her. "Stay back."

Rainbow Dash walked over to the yellow mare a laying on her stomach. Fluttershy lowered her head to the ground her mane falling over her face. Rainbow Dash sat on her haunches in front of of the pegasus taking a close look at her. Her coat was matted down with sweat and she smelt stale and musky. The same disgusting scent that permeated the cottage coating the floors and wafting into the air, rot and sweat and urine only it was more pungent around the mare. She had no fat or muscle left on her frame. Her coat hung a little off her with tufts of hair missing around the scars and bites to her left side continuing down under her belly. One of her wings was sick interpretation of of what the limb should look like. As if it was a wing drawn by a small foal. Half the feathers were missing and more then a few sticking out at unnatural angle while the limb itself was crisscrossed with scarring and teeth marks.

Rainbow Dash in recent weeks had always been thrown out before she could notice Fluttershy's physical condition and the state of her home. The cottage was in worse disarray then when her animals stayed in it. It now looked like a long abandoned home that nopony would live in. Seeing the mare below her all thoughts of leaving left her mind. She no longer worried about whether Fluttershy was better off without her. After seeing everything their was only one conclusion Rainbow Dash could come up with. "Your dying here." she whimpered.

"So what?" Fluttershy said trembling.

Rainbow Dash placed her forelegs on Fluttershy's back and began to massage her. Dash lowered her head and nuzzled the back of her neck. She felt the fur on her muzzle and legs damp as they touched her. She did not dare breathe through her nostrils and even air coming through her mouth had a terrible taste.

Below her the pegasus began to cry. "Don't touch me." she said between sobs. Fluttershy's shyness had always made her wherry of ponies touching her and that fought with the realization she had made after the accident that no pony would ever really touch her again.

"How did you ever make it to the hospital to see Pinkie?" Dash asked.

"I.. I shouldn't have. I'm so tired, I can't moved..." Fluttershy paused for a moment. "I told her I was getting better." she let out a loud whine. "I'm getting worse. I can't get skin grafts... I told her I was but I'm to weak to be put under. I... said I could visit her someday but the hospital is... less then a mile... it's so much closer and now I can't move. Everything aches so much Dash. So what if I die. I don't... I don't..."

"Your not going to die Fluttershy. Stop talking crazy I won't let you. You're going to get better."

"You can't even look at me Rainbow Dash and you're going to help me. If it wasn't so pathetic I'd laugh."

"I'm looking at you now Fluttershy."

"And you're disgusted."

"Then live with it!" Dash yelled. "What other option do you have, live with it."

"I could just die he..." Fluttershy was cut off as Rainbow Dash ducked her head under Fluttershy's belly and rolled the other mare onto Dash's back lifting her wings to support the damp and limp mare so she couldn't slide off. "What are you doing?" Fluttershy moaned feeling resistance against her aching flesh as she was hefted off the ground.

"Something I should have been doing since day one." Dash said as she started walking the mare towards the stairs. Dash could not believe how light Fluttershy weighed.

Rainbow Dash climbed the stairs and deposited Fluttershy on the mess of stale sheets and blankets that made up her bed and left her there retreating down the stairs. Rainbow Dash looked at the clock on Fluttershy's wall. 1:45 PM. She started her work by opening each and every window on the ground floor.  She took a moment at each one to take in a breath of fresh air. Rainbow Dash went into the kitchen and removed a garbage bag from under the sink.

Food lay rotting on the counter, black water and dirty dishes caked with mold filled the sink. Taking a pare Rubber Dish Boots from the drawer Dash pulled them over her forelegs. She drained the sink of black water leaving clumps of black sludge and piled plates. Dash took a hoof towel and swept the plates, sludge and the towel into the trash then grabbed a sponge and scrubbed the basin of the sink. She then swiped the rotting food off the counters into the bag and scrubbed the counters. Going through each cabinet she removed anything that looked rotten or stale and trashed it. She left the cabinets open to air out. Finally Rainbow Dash filled a large bucket with soapy water and scrubbed the floors, walls, ceiling and any other flat surface she could reach.

After the kitchen was in a manageable state.Rainbow Dash picked up a new trash bag and started on the living room picking up the tissues that coated the floor filled with snot and bile and tossing them in the trash. She spotted a pile of news paper in the corner horrified to discover that it was covered in pony waste from when the mare couldn't make it upstairs. Dash felted sick of the thought of her long time friend forced to live like an animal. No more of this Fluttershy. I'm here now. Dash silently promised being extra careful while trashing the paper pile.

Rainbow Dash took off the rubber hoof boots and tossed them out before flying into the kitchen and scrubbing her forelegs vigorously. Rainbow Dash with clean hooves began picking up the various books and other items lefts around the cottage and putting them away. She took down the curtains rolled up the rug and took Angels blankets from his bed. Angel raved angrily at the mare until he saw the floor clean of clutter and breathed a sigh of relief. Dash smiled at the tiny three legged bunny who up until now had been responsible for cleaning and feeding the mare. "I don't know how you took care of this place alone" she said surprised by the tiny disabled bunnies strength. Dash lifted the rabbit onto her head where he quickly fell asleep in her mane. "Now for the hard part." Dash said to herself.

The stairs, the living room and the hallway needed to be scrubbed from floor to ceiling. Grabbing her bucket she went to work having to refill the bucket several times. When she was done she went upstairs to clean Fluttershy's room. The mare was asleep in her bed. "When's the last time you slept on something that wasn't a floor Fluttershy?" Dash asked whispering so as not to wake her. She then went through the same process of opening the windows, cleaning the trash off the floor, taking the rugs and curtains away then clearing the floor of clutter. She washed the floor, walls and ceiling with soapy water. Dash then walked into the only washroom in the cottage adjacent to the upstairs bedroom. The floor was caked with dry urine and the walls had some mold. Rainbow Dash steeled herself and without a moments complaint she cleaned it all. Walking back into the bedroom Dash peered at the bedside clock. 4:53 PM

Rainbow Dash poked Fluttershy with a foreleg. "Rise and shine Fluttershy."

Fluttershys eyes opened groggily. "Oh your still here." she said annoyance clear in her voice. Fluttershy's eyes shot open as she felt the breeze and smelt a hint of soap behind her own stale breath and body odor. She saw the floor clear of clutter and the trash bags. "What are you doing?" she asked nervously.

"Cleaning" Rainbow Dash replied.

Fluttershy blushed. "Please stay away from... from..."

"Got the newspaper and the washroom." Dash said flatly. "Don't worry about it, just about everything is clean now."

"I... I..." Fluttershy was at a complete loss for words.

"This is going to be awkward so I'm just going to blurt it okay...." Dash said nervously. "Please don't take offense."

"What are you..."

"I need to give you a bath." Dash blurted.

Fluttershy turned beat red and threw her forelegs over her eyes.

"Ahh Fluttershy?... Fluttershy? Are you all right Fluttershy?" Dash poked the cowering mare. "You in there Fluttershy?" Rainbow Dash sighed at the catatonic mare. Faster I get this over with. Dash thought hefting the Mare off the ground and flew her into the washroom. Dash sat her down into the tub and turned on the water.

"I can stay sitting up." Fluttershy said meekly.

"I'm only filling the tub a few inches." Dash replied. She poured liquid soap into the water. "We're going to have to scrub the caked grim off."

"I don't think I am strong enough." Fluttershy said.

"I know." Dash held a sponge in her foreleg.

Fluttershy stared in shock. *Splash* then fell over onto her side.

"Umm... you alright Fluttershy... Fluttershy hello?" Rainbow Dash began poking the mare with her forelegs. "Fluttershy?"

"I.. I'm fine." Fluttershy whimpered.

"This is one of those close your eyes and think of Equestria moments." Dash snorted filling the sponge with water and wringing it out over Fluttershy's head.

"It's so humiliating." Fluttershy whispered as Dash began to scrub her back.

"It isn't so bad Fluttershy."

"Yes it is." The sponge reached the base of her left wing. "Don't scrub my wings. I'll do them."

"I got it Fluttershy I..."

"No don't touch my wings!" Fluttershy yelled.

"Why not?" Dash  asked surprised by the sudden outburst.

"Just don't okay. I will do them."

"You're tired."

"I will find the strength." Fluttershy muttered.

"Fine." Dash grunted and continued to scrub the mare. She scrubbed every inch of the mares body trying not to think of the intimate nature of her task. Her face, neck, back, chest, stomach, flank, and all four legs leaving only her wings. Her wings of all places, why? Dash thought handing over the sponge.

"Don't look." Fluttershy said. Rainbow Dash turned away and Fluttershy lifted her limp wing in her forelegs and began to slowly scrub.

This is taking forever. Rainbow Dash thought as she listened to the slow scrubbing. I washed her whole body faster then this. Why can't she just let me do it. "Listen Fluttershy..." Dash said turning around. The mare was just washing her wing as Dash suspected. "This is ridiculous and..."

"Don't Look!" Fluttershy yelled.

Dash quickly looked away. "What is with you? You're just washing a wing grow up."

"It's nothing... Just don't look again."

"Tell me!" Dash shouted. "What is the big deal about your wings!"

"Nothing!" Flutteryshy shouted dropping the sponge from her mouth into the water.

Dash turned back around. "Just tell me what is going on! Tell me!"

"I can't fly okay!" Fluttershy yelled angrily. Her face began to fill with despair "I can't fly anymore..." she whispered.

Dash choked on her words for a moment. "I know." she said quietly. "I know you can't fly now. You'll get better. I'll help you."

"One of my wings is half paralyzed and the other is only half a wing. I am never flying again." Fluttershy hung her head her wet mane covering her face and Dash put a hoof on her back. "Don't touch me." she whispered.

"What makes you think I would care Fluttershy. Your my friend so what if you can't fly."

"Because you can." she said coldly. "Because it's all you ever talk about. Half the time you don't even walk you just float around. Because all through school you said Fluttershy why can't you fly well, Fluttershy you need to practice your flying, Fluttershy if you can't fly well your not a real pegasus, Fluttershy you might as well live on the ground like the dirt ponies if you fly that badly. Well I dropped out and moved down to this backwater town and then suddenly you show up again in my life asking me to help you train for the Wonderbolts or go flying with you and you scoff every time I couldn't keep up and fell behind. Just when I am starting to get good at it this happens. That's why Dash, Because you can and I can't!"

"Fluttershy... I... Just because you can't..."

"Shut up!" Fluttershy yelled. "Just shut up! What am I now.  I don't have a magical connection to the Earth, I can't cast spells, I can't fly and I can't walk on clouds or manipulate the weather because I can't get up there. I don't even take care of animals anymore. I have no Magic, I have no purpose and I have nothing. What job can an invalid pegasus do? What pony would ever fall in love with me? What is there left for me. You should have just left me here to rot away because that's all that's in my future. I never took advantage of my wings, you can fly and I can't and now I have nothing so Shut Up!"

Fluttershy dipped her head into the tub and picked up the sponge. She began to slowly scrub her wing limp wing. Fluttershy's anger had melted away away leaving a blank look on her face. Rainbow Dash watched her clean the wing silently. She watched her pick up her damaged wing and begin to clean it as well. Rainbow Dash spent that hour watching a mare with no hope cradle and clean her lost livelihood without a word spoken. No tears were shed and nothing was said. Their was no more false comforts given as the reality of what had happened to her set in.

Fluttershy pulled herself out of the bath and limped out of the bathroom. She slowly made her way down the steps into her living room. Rainbow Dash didn't dare help her.

Rainbow Dash looked over at the clock. 6:35 PM. She sighed and went back to doing what she had come here to do. Rainbow Dash pulled the sheets off Fluttershy's bed as well as the piled the curtains and the floor rug and hefted them onto her back. She walked down the stairs not daring to fly in the other pegasus's presence. She passed by Fluttershy sitting in the middle of her living room and picked up the rugs and curtains in the living room. Rainbow Dash headed towards the basement stairs with the load to clean them in the washer.

Rainbow Dash finished loading the laundry and walked up to the kitchen. She began to put together a fruit platter with what little unspoiled food was left in the house. "Rainbow Dash." Dash heard Fluttershy call out behind her.

"Yes?" Dash asked placing the finished fruit platter on the table.

Fluttershy said nothing.

"Come and eat something." Dash said sitting down at the table.

Fluttershy hung her head and walked over to the table. Fluttersy picked up a small piece of fruit and softly chewed it. With some difficulty she swallowed it. "Maybe soup would be better." she said meekly.

"You weigh next to nothing Shy, you need to eat solid food."

"What does it matter." she sighed.

Rainbow Dash stood up on her hind legs and smacked her fore hooves down onto the table startling the mare. "It matters to me okay!" she yelled. "You are going to get better and I am not going to watch you sit here and die because you gave up."

"I'm not getting better Dash!" Fluttershy yelled. "I can't fly and I..."

"Stop it! Stop it right now!" Dash flew over the table hovering in close to Fluttershy's face. "You already told me all the ways you won't get better. I don't need to hear them again. I've been depressed enough by you for one day."

"Well sorry if my life depresses you Rainbow Dash. I wouldn't want to ruin your view from up there." Fluttershy said sarcastically.

"Bucking right you should be sorry." Dash said poking Fluttershy on the nose. "I'm here to help you not drag you around. Things get better okay, they get better. Maybe not as great as you want them but they get better. It's hard work but they get better."

Fluttershy ducked back away from the angry cyan pegasus floating in front of her "I... I don't I... I'm scared."

"So am I." Dash said her anger slowly subsiding.

"Of what?"

"Of you... What's happening to you, what' going to happen if you stay like this." Rainbow Dash pulled Fluttershy up into a hug. "I don't want to lose you." Rainbow Dash let go of Fluttershy and she stared up at the cyan pegasus..

"You don't look... as disgusted... in me as before."

"Because I got better." Dash said. "You said you were going to get skin grafts."

"I'm too weak." Fluttershy sighed.

Dash pushed the food in front of Fluttershy. "Then eat something. Tomorrow you start working out. You'll get those grafts and you're going to work for them."

"Pinkie's right I'll still be ugly."

"Pinkie's a prick and you probably shouldn't take any advice she gives to heart." Dash muttered angrily. "You have a goal so work to it. Then come up with a new goal, then a new goal and so on. Before you know it, who knows."

Fluttershy smiled. "You've changed a lot."

"How?"

"Less... stupid..."

Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped. "I'm not the only one whose changed." she said rolling her eyes.

"and pig headed and arrogant and full herself and self important and... "

"Okay that's enough."

"single minded..."

"Seriously just stop it now please."

"and you have a rabbit on your head." Fluttershy giggled.

"What?!" Dash looked up and a very awake Angel looked down at Rainbow Dash from out of her mane. "Oh right... I forgot about that."

Rainbow Dash watched Fluttershy finish her fruit plate then excused herself to get the laundry. She put back the curtains and closed the window's at Fluttershy's request. She put down the rugs and made the bed. When she came down the stairs Fluttershy was waiting by the door for her. "Good night Fluttershy. I'll be back in the morning."

Fluttershy smiled. "Good night Rainbow Dash. It was a pleasure having you over.."

Dash stood there for a moment wide eyed. "... I'm sorry it's just that... I haven't heard that in a while... I'll see you later k." Dash turned to walk out the door.

"Um Rainbow Dash. Can I have my bunny back now?"

"Huh... Oh Right." Rainbow Dash grabbed Angel in her forelegs and placed him on Fluttershy's head. "See ya." and she took off out the door.

Fluttershy looked up at Angel. "She's changed a lot hasn't she?" Fluttershy yawned. "Lets get to bed Angel dear." Fluttershy slowly made her way up the stairs her limbs aching. "It's been a long day for us hasn't it Angel?" she said crawling under her covers. Angle curled up next to her. Fluttershy took a deep breath taking in the scents of soap, clean sheets and fresh air.

Fluttershy's head turned over to the window. A small blue bird had flown in and began to sing. Rainbow Dash must have forgotten to close the upstairs windows. The bird hopped off the windowsill and landed on the nightstand singing its song. Fluttershy reached over her foreleg and rubbed its head before she fell asleep.

Rainbow Dash felt the night air chill over her wet coat as she flew through the late evening sky. After taking a long shower to remove the last remnants of the decay that up until early this afternoon was her friends living situation. Rainbow Dash hadn't felt this good since she help defeat Nightmare Moon. To her it was as if the grime that was washed away was her own, that she was free once again to begin anew. The weight on her mind that she lived and died by her current friendships and goals went down the drain. She was ready for a new life.

Row after row of Apple Tree's dotted the landscape below. Friendship quest take two. she thought rolling into a dive above a red barn. Rainbow Dash landed outside the barn taking a look around. She spotted an orange mare walking out from the tree line.

"Here ta bug me again?" Applejack scoffed. "And surprise, surprise on ah workday no less."

"Well hello to you too." Dash said blowing a piece of her mane from her eye.

"After how you acted you're lucky I just don't ban ya from the farm. Now git outta here I don't have time fer yer games."

Rainbow Dash looked around for a moment spotting something before turning back to the orange mare. Rainbow Dash grinned wide. "It's a good thing I'm not here to hang out with you. I would rather spend my time with cooler ponies." With that she turned and walked away towards an apple tree with a big red pony sitting under it.

. Big Macintosh looked up from his spot under a tree towards an advancing cyan pegasus. The pegasus rolled a small barrel off her back and hoofed it over to him. "Hard Cider." she stated. "Thought we could share a drink and talk."

"About what?" Big Mac asked.

"The Wonderbolts, Apple Farming, Weather Management, Construction... Anything. "

"Whelp... I think I'd like that." Big Mac replied with a soft smile.

The moonlight streamed in through the window over the pink mare lying in her hospital bed.

*11:45 PM*

"Nurse!" Pinkamena yelled.

A nurse walked into Pinkamena's room. "Can I help you with anything?"

"Are their anymore visitors or messages for me?"

"No, visiting hours have been over for about seven hours. You'll be released in the morning. We're again sorry for any trouble you might have had here Miss."

"Yeah yeah whatever." Pinkamena said the nurse out with her foreleg.

She's not coming. Why would she. I guess I should just be glad she hasn't turned me in yet... Or left me to die. I really thought she would be come though. That she would forgive me. I mean she saved me but that isn't the same thing. Pinkamena sighed loudly and stomped her bed with her forelegs. Like somepony would want the real me. I should just accept that I am going to be alone forever with nothing but rock piles, turnips and an alligator to keep me company. Living in my yet to be built castle in my yet to be formed country Pinkatopia wearing pony skin sweaters alone. That is definitely my accurate future that I predicted with my amazing fortune telling powers... Alone. The pink mare rolled over and began to nod off.

*CRASH!*

"Stupid Hospital watch where you are going!" came a boyish mare's voice from outside.

Pinkamena grinned wide as she heard her hospital room window lifting open.
