portal 3: interdemensional portal device

Chell has finally made it out of Aperture science laboratory's. but now, she has no where to go. she hasn't wandered far from the elevator leading into Aperture laboratory's and it has been days since she left. the only things she has seen is grass and some wildlife such as birds and a few frogs. about a week later, a strange looking Aperture science hand held interdemensional portal device......
chapter 1: the lonely world
It was a new world for me, no more concrete walls, weird chemical gels, chaotic A.I.'s, and no more chaotic facility breakdowns. I was glad i was out of that hell hole. But, i had no where to go. Glados, the chaotic, but yet friendly A.I. gave me the companion cube and I also still have my hand held portal device with me. I traveled a bit, but I just had the feeling I was suppose to stay at the elevator. I dont know why, but i think i heard some footsteps behind me about a day ago when i was at that elevator. I might be going crazy but, i think that someone is watching me. I didn't really want to investigate, I don;t know why but..... I don't know....
I was all alone in this stranded world. Except if those footsteps I heard was from a human, then i was not alone. All i had to look at was wavy long light brown grass. I really wanted a new set of scenery. About a week later, i heard some rattling in the elevator, then it stopped, the door opened, and there was something new in it. Another portal device, except this one was different, it wasn't white, it was grey. It said on it's side "Aperture science hand held interdemensional portal device". I picked it up, and it worked the same way as my other portal device worked. I shot it, and a dark hole came on the floor, It waved massively on the ground, alot more than the other portal device did. i decided to bring my portal device and jump in. If i was going to get a change of scenery and possibly some cake, it was going to be through that portal.
I waited, and waited, and waited, falling through a pitch black void. I flew downwards, and upwards, and sideways, and diagonally. I was also a bit woozy and nauseated a few tines, but i didn't "throw up" at all. Finally, i got out of the portal, but my problems weren't over yet. I was, what seemed to be, about a mile up in the sky, falling at a massive speed. I don't think my long fall boots can stop this fall. so i did what i was trained to do. i tried shooting a portal to the ground, then towards a mountain, and i fell through the two portals. But now, i was falling of a side of a mountain. i was going slow enough for my long fall boots to stop most the impact. But i had another problem. I got hit in the head by a rock, and now I am unconscious.
Authors notes: this took me about 30 minutes to write, so if there are any grammatical errors, please tell me. oh and also, i will need some ideas, so if you are willing to give out some ideas, please tell me, thank you!
*for those of you who have not played portal, or portal 2, here is some background information.
*Glados is a crazy A.I. who tries to kill you in the first portal, but then saves you in the second (thats enough spoilers for Glados)
*Wheatley (which is not in this story) is another crazy A.I. . but the difference between Glados and Wheatley, is that Wheatley is a "behavior controlling sphere" or just an "add-on" to Glados. Wheatley made Glados come up with stupid ideas.
* the hand held portal device is something that shoots two portals and when you go through one, you go to the other portal that you shot.
*Aperture science is a facility that made GLados and Wheatley and also the hand held portal device, and a few other things that im not going to tell you (aren't I just horrible?).

chapter 2: the little humble town
"ow" i said. (yes, in this story Chell can talk)"what is this thing just sticking out of the ground. whatever it is, it saved my life. and also, where am i? i don't remember Aperture science having these little things sticking out of the ground, or even this huge piece of concrete. it doesn't even look like concrete" I was really confused about the fact that there were these things sticking out of the ground, they kinda bothered me to, but replenished me as well, so i didn't mind. I also saw a big huge group of buildings about what seemed to be about 4 miles away from here. No matter, I could get there in seconds. i used my portal gun and literally got there in seconds. Now i just have to find out what this place was."Geez, whoever built these houses has a good taste in decor. the windows, doors, and also those pretty flowers." i said, not noticing the weird looking creatures roaming about this humble place. But then i saw one of the weird creatures, and jumped in fright, so did the creature. It just went like "YIP" or something like that, but i didnt hear it run away. Instead, it came towards my position. I heard it coming and just hoped that it didn't want to eat me. I heard some rustling behind me, then it stopped. i felt a branch poke me and I screamed and ran away(hey, you try living in a nature-less facility underground for millions of years). i heard something say "hey! come back!". I didn't even bother looking back. instead, i used my portals to get out of there as fast as i can, but somehow, i failed, and got pulled back. I was scared out of my MIND.
"hey..... creature..... i mean no harm...... i just want to talk to you...... now, what are you?" a white, tall creature said. I just fainted there. i feel like a total idiot just doing that, but it was instinct. I soon woke up in a weird looking place. it looked like a place with papers binded up in leather and stacked up on ledges coming out of walls. I also saw other creatures, all just staring at me with a mix of fright, and confused faces. one started to speak, "hello, my name is Twilight Sparkle. and if i may ask, what is yours?" i just stared at her, with mostly fright, i then felt around my waist to see if my portal device was there...... it wasn't. "where is it!" i yelled. "where is what?" Twilight said. "my Aperture science hand held portal device!" "your what?" another creature said, this creature had a happy color to it. I couldnt quit looking for my portal device though. "where IS IT!!!!!" then the same creature that i encountered earlier came walking in. "ah, good to see that your awake." the creature said. "WHERE IS IT!!!" i said, still looking. Then i purple aura surrounded me, and i was trying to move, but i couldn't even budge. "do you mean this?" the white creature said, around it though, was my portal device. The magical field disappeared and i got my sweet, sweet, portal device from that tall creature. "thank you so much!! you have no idea how much this thing is worth, it has saved me MILLIONS of times!!!" but then, the purple creature said "ow that that is over, would you be so kind and tell me your name?" "umm..... i think it might be Chell?" "you think?" "yes" "ok, i also want to ask a few questions, like how are you here??" "i got another hand held portal device that shoots interdemensional gateways, the first portal i shot, i ended up here, but sadly, i lost it in the endless dark void. Took me DAYS to get here. i also want to ask you a question." "what is that?" "where am i? and what are you? and what is this place? and also, what are those tall things sticking out of the ground outside? not the buildings, but those 'bushy' things, and the very tall thing coming out of the ground? and why am i here?" Twilight was amazed at how many questions i had
"ok, first... we are all ponys, second... the princess here*points at tall white pony* took you here after you fainted, and third... you are at pony ville, and fourth... those 'bushy' things sticking out of the ground are called trees, and fifth... if you are talking about the tall mountains, those are called mountains" "but what is it made of?" "those are rocks" "ok, thats all, thank you.
And so my journey begins as i go through dangerous places, finish impossible puzzles, and some.... other.... stuff
chapter 3: meeting everypony
So far, I have escaped Aperture science laboratory's. Then i found a interdemensional portal device. Then, i teleported to a place called ponyville, and now i am in Twilight Sparkles house, with 6 other pony's.
All that was left for me to do in the meantime, is get to know everyo- i mean, everypony here. I already gotten acquainted with Twilight and Celestia. now for the other pony's."who, are all these other, pony's?" i asked. "oh, right, how could i forget. This is Apple Jack" Twilight said, pointing at the mare that was colored orange, presumingly being Apple Jack. "howdy!" AJ said, beginning to shake my hand vigorously. "n-n-n-n-i-i-i-i-c-c-c-e-e-e t-t-t-t-t-o-o-o m-m-m-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-t-t-t-t-t-t y-y-y-y-y-o-o-o-o-u-u-u t-t-t-t-o-o-o" I said, trying my best to stay up..... but i failed. I fell flat on the chair behind me. "ok.... This, over here, is Rarity." Twilight said, pointing towards the white pony. "Nice to meet you darling." Rarity said in a "fancy" voice."Nice to meet you to, Rarity" I said.
"This, over here, is Rainbow Dash" Twilight pointed towards a blue pony, this one had some feathery things sticking out of its back, i was about to ask her what they were, but then she interrupted me. "Hi. As you can tell, I am the GREATEST pony ever in ponyville!! I am the only one EVER, to do a sonic rainboom!"(i really dont know how to do RD, so don't expect her to be a big part. if i am doing it right, please tell me and i might make a big part for her :D). "o...k? Hi Rainbow Dash.". "and this over here, is Fluttershy." Twilight pointed to the- now visible- Fluttershy. "oh... umm... hi.... Chell...." Fluttershy said, also adding the infamous nervous "squee". I almost died of cuteness right there, i mean, if you didn't think that was cute, your heartless. "oh my gosh she is so adorable!" I said. I kinda felt embarrassed after i said that. "What? it is! i mean look at her! she is the cutest thing EVER!!!" I said. "nopony has ever said that to me!" Fluttershy said."well, i guess they just don't see how beautiful you are!" I said. I haven't felt better in my life.
Fluttershy squee'ed in embarrassment and hid behind her mane. My heart just exploded twice."oh, don't mind her. She's just shy, its in her name you know." Twilight said. "ok. Where am i suppose to go now? i have always just been traveling in an endless wave of hard puzzles, only solve-able with this thing" I said, pointing at my Aperture science hand held portal device. "really? wow. oh, and, what does that thing do?" Twilight said. "it shoots out portals" I replied. "Portals? wow. so that thing took you here?" Twilight said. "Oh no no no.... Another portal device took me here, this thing... it shoots out portals, like this." i shot a portal to the floor, which made everypony jump."see?" I said, then I shot another towards the ceiling, then i jumped inside the portal on the ground, and appeared out of the other. "wormholes!" I said. "also, this thing has saved my life millions of times, like this one time. a crazy A.I. tried to burn me alive, and i just shot two portals, and i was home free. and another time, when i was about to get killed by ANOTHER crazy A.I., this one, had a spikey platform that he controlled, and tried to smash me, i used portals. And those are just two!" all of the ponys, including celestia, had there jaws dropped of amazement."Crazy huh?" I said. "totally RADICLE!" RD said. "thats just super-duper- fantastic-bo-bastic!" the strange colored pony said. "hey, you forgot to introduce me to.... her" I said, pointing at the strange mare. "oh thats pinkie pie." "pinkie who? "im pinkie pie you silly filly!" the strange 'pinkie.. pie' said. "why is her fur colored the way it is? and what IS that color?!?!" I said. "her fur is pink. And how do you not know that color? where have you been???" Twilight said. "I have been in a crazy mad house underground almost dieing countless of times and also solving almost un-solveable tests while, again, saving the world." I replied. "oh... right." Twilight said.
*Notes: if you have any ideas about how Chell should find a place, or which pony she should stay with, please tell me. I would really appreciate that*
chapter 4: why are we here again?
*Authors notes:ok, so i got this idea about P-body and Atlas(if you read the comments, you would know where this is going), and they are going to see Equestria! Lets see where they will end up!*
part 1:Introducing, the interdemensional portal device!
+====P-bodys POV
Even though i am a robot, Aperture science has put a A-1-13 emotion module in my hard-drive so that is the reason i have... feelings... for Atlas, he has a different emotion module, but it is very similar, it is a A-1-14 emotion module, and we are the only robots that have mastered these modules, or at least thats what mother tells us (Glados). Mother has told us to meet her in her office (chamber), she says that she has important business that involves me, and Atlas, and a present! I haven't felt so excited in my robotic life!
When me and my brother (Atlas) got to mothers office, mother told us "now, you are here, and i wanted to... test... something with you two....". We both did the regular procedure, going into the machine that baby sits us (that machine that takes you apart, i forgot what it is called), but mother told us to stop, and come back, so we did."I forgot to give you two your... presents." mother gave us both new portal devices and told us what they were. We both where in shock, and automatically went into "hibernation" mode.
+====Atlas POV
We got out of hibernation mode and got up. I felt like I just got a bunch of rusted bolts tooken out of me and also, probably a new shine on my body."PZZTTZTZTZTZTZZT" P-body was kinda malfunctioning, i dont know why, but there was horrible sparks coming from behind P-body, and i knew that his hard drive was stuck somewhere, again, so i fixed it up in a quick manner, and P-body thanked me.
We both seemed to remember that we both got new portal devices, and they were interdemensional portal devices. We asked mother why we had these, and mother told us that we need to locate the human that she released from our home, she also told us that we need to go up to the surface in order to actually go where the human, Chell, transported.
I did not like the idea very well, but if mother tells us to do something, we obey, in a fashionable, and quick manner. So me and P-body went to the elevator, and went up. While we went up, we waved bye to mother, she waved back with a "wire hand".
We got up to the "surface", and we both, were amazed at how beautiful it was. "wwwooowww" we both said in unison(in robot voice, think wall-e, but a little deeper). We remembered what mother told us, and we shot a portal to the ground, next to the elevator, and jumped in.
+====Chells POV
The meadow was graceful and wonderful, gull of smells I could not even describe. It was such a wonderful place here in this universe. I would never want to go back. I swear I also saw two small dots falling from the sky earlier today to, but i paid no attention to it, and just let the thought float away from my head. I guess it found its way back into my head, because i could not stop thinking of what those two dots were.
I was alone in the meadow at the time, so I didn't think the pony's saw it. Then, I saw another dot falling from the sky, but this time, it was higher in the sky, like it was in that, vast, empty, black area, full of white dots that Wheately fell into. Then it got bigger, and bigger, and bigger, then i could tell what it was, or who it was. It was Wheately.
he fell right into a tree, not to far, and i ran towards the tree Wheately fell into. I saw him, sparking as usual, almost caught the tree on fire. I took him out, i also saw that the other pony's were following me. "Whats wrong over 'ere!" i heard AJ say. "It's an old friend" I said, looking at Wheately mischievously. "uhh... hi Chell... hows it been?" Wheately said hesitatingly.
"Its been fine, ever since you tried to kill me" I said, just waiting to make some trouble out of ol' wheaty here.
But then, another core, the "SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCEEE!!!!!!" core came falling down to. "Oh great...." Wheately said."great" I said to. "Whats wrong?" RD said. "The space core, its really annoying." I said. "Tell me about it...." Wheately said "try spending a year just floating around space with a core that just keeps on saying stuff like 'where in space!' or 'space, space, space, space-'. Its really annoying, oh and, chell, i am sincerely sorry for trying to, you know, kill you and Glados and take control of Aperture science laboratory's." "It's ok, it was kinda fun anyways." I replied.

P-body and Atlas have found their way to Equestria in search of this human, named Chell. They were ordered to get her and take her back to Earth. but, what if they don't want to? That is there choice, and if they choose to stay, they will stay... but, if they choose to listen to mother, they will go back, and take Chell with them....
+---(Chell POV)----+
"I think I also saw two other figures coming from the sky, maybe we should go check it out...." I said. "Yes, that would be a good idea" Twilight said. For the past few days that i have been here, I felt that there was another thing present... like, something was watching me. I just couldn't put my finger on it... it was like when I was in old aperture. How everything looked dirty, musky, scary... just torn apart. It was not a pretty sight, not at all. The waiting rooms though, they looked like they were just built, just with a few minor displacements here and there.
We all ran towards the crash site in a hurry, and saw that there was an explosion, and smoke, and I saw parts of a portal device laying around. The next thing I saw was two figures coming out of the everlasting smoke. They were as big as me, one was a little smaller then I. The ponies ran off behind some trees, they shivered at this site apparently... I, had no idea why... I guess it was just a regular thing for me, to see a huge thing of smoke and some fire here and there.
The two figures came out and i immediately recognized them. It was those two robots that i saw before i left Aperture science laboratory's. The two robots flinched I think when they saw me. I kinda flinched to, i didn't expect to see those two robots here, how did they get here? And WHY are they even here?! The blue one was torn apart by the crash. I could tell the blue eyed robot was malfunctioning a bit. Sparks, noises of gears cracking, that weird "pzztzzt" sound, that robot was a complete mess.
I then saw that, horrid pony that caused me to have a panic attack, then, leading to me passing out... Princess Celestia. she, and three other ponies with golden platings, came flying down towards the crash site. when Celestia came down, she looked curiously at me
"why are you here Chell? I thought you were having a play date with Twilight and her friends." Celestia said.
"We all saw the two figures coming out of the sky, actually four, and we came-" I stopped, Celestia interrupted
"you saw 'four' figures?" Celestia said.
"oh, yes, here is Wheately..." I said, picking up Wheately and showing him to Celestia.
"hello... umm... as Chell has said... my name is Wheately... and yours is?"
Celestia just stood there, dumbstruck. She has not seen anything like this before, the only piece of machinery she has seen is something like a mixing bowl, or a DJ table, stuff like that... but she has never seen a self-automated A.I. before....
chapter 5: introducing technology to Equestria
Authors note: i know this is a short chapter, but i just wanted the explanation to be done and all that other stuff. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!
“A what?” Celestia said. I told her what Wheately was, and I was kinda surprised that they didn't know what an A.I. Was... maybe this place WASN'T made from Aperture science laboratory's. Still, they deserved an explanation. “An A.I. … how can I put this in the most easiest way to understand.... A.I. Stands for 'artificial intelligence', means it is a robot, but it also has a mind of a human, or, in your case, a pony. So it means that someones, or 'someponys' mind, was 'filtered' into a computer” I explained it to Celestia as dumb as I could, but my explanation was... not so good, seems like the 'ponies' here don't have the technology I have seen and worked with(and man they are lucky).
Celestia, still dumbfounded, asked me what a 'robot' was, I said “A robot is a programmed being that does whatever it is, it is suppose to do. So, for example, a robot can be programmed to put things together, break things, even kill things, but those killing type's of robots were banished long ago... at least, thats what the Aperture Science Laboratory' computers say.”
then, out of nowhere, the blue robot comes behind me and, if I understood right, he said “mother wants you home”. I just looked at the robot. Who was this “mother”? I just let the question float in my head, rearing towards the deepest corner of my brain. Then, the other robot came towards me, and said the same thing.
Then, a multicolored blur comes over my left side, knocking down the orange robot, seeing that the robots name is P-BODY on it's side,. I help up 'P-BODY' and say “what the hell?!?”. The multicolored pony had a look that said “what are you talking about?”. I said “you just rammed into my friend!” and with that, P-BODY shot up, and the multicolored pony, a look of guilt, with a mix of shock. “I-I-I had no idea, he was your... friend! I thought he was going to hurt you and take you away!” And with that, I saw the blue robot, seemingly to have the name ATLAS on its side as well, tackle the multicolored pony to the ground and looked at P_BODY, he knew what to do, and shot a portal under ATLAS and the multicolored pony, then towards someplace else.
ATLAS quickly let go of the multicolored pony as soon as P-BODY shot the second portal, leaving the pony to fall into the portal, then P-BODY quickly shot another portal, making it so the pony couldn't come back anytime soon.
Everyone stared in shock and awe at the two robots... they had amazing teamwork, yes... but I never knew they would be that smart! But,they were made by the smartest people on earth, or, at least thats what the Aperture science Laboratory's records on those computers said... I hacked almost every single computer there. Learned a lot of stuff at that time. Anyways, back to the point.
I guess I was wrong. The multicolored pony was already in sight, I couldn't really tell, but I saw a look of a murderer on the pony's face. ATLAS and P-BODY flinched at the sight, and did what I would do... run. There were no ceilings, so it looked like it was harder for them to escape, if there were ceilings, they would use the momentum of the falling from the portals, then they would put another portal on a wall or something, then glide away from the pony... but that wouldn't work anyway's.
Instead, they did what I did also when I first got here to get to, what was called 'ponyville', they used there portals to get farther then they could jump, soon, they were miles from where they used to be, and in seconds they did that.
chapter 6: the wonderful forest
Authors note: I was writing under the influence of C418s' music, here is a link to his bandcamp blog http://c418.bandcamp.com/album/72-minutes-of-fame. if you do not know who C418 is, and you play minecraft... then you do not pay attention. that is all.
p.s. - this is not a complete chapter, so if it sucks... just deal with it, untill it is finished(oh, and if you were about to say something like "why would you post a chapter if it is not finished". The reason why i do that is so that you guys/girls can see it while it is un-finished, and see if you can have any criticism about it)
Atlas and P-body were on the run from an insane pony that was the color of the repulsion gel back at home. Atlas and P-body have encountered many things... but not as beautiful as this. They were now in the Everfree forest, and today was there lucky day, for the forest was calm and quite, with every animal having positive vibes all around, even the predators were acting happy and cheerful and not eating each other. It was truly an amazing sight. All the plants, animals, tree's, all were in a calm or energetic state. the graceful noise of all the butterfly's flying around the two strange robots, the stomping of a manticore, heading towards the two robots to "snuggle" with them, and the sight of the firefly's at night. It was a day to remember.
It was getting dark, and the two robots have not seen the repulsion gel colored animal at all ever since they entered this forest. The forest was an amazing sight at night. The ambient noise that started in the forest was amazing. P-body had just discovered something super secret about himself about a few weeks ago, he found out that he had a-what was called-mp3 player, and he had only a few things on it, one "song", was called... alive, and it really fitted this scene... so he played it. Atlas was amazed at the sound P-body made when he played the song. the song amplified throughout the forest, attracting small critters, and also big critters... even an ursa major and ursa minor came to listen to the masterpiece.
[P-body POV]
Everything was perfect. The setting, music, the love all around. Today, was the day. The day that I was going to tell Atlas about, my feelings for him. I am not sure if he has already found out, but, I do not think he has. But, if he is ever going to find out, today is the day he is. I decided to tell him after my "song" has stopped playing. So we just sat there, looking at the sky, and all the small to large animals around us. It was truly amazing. The glistening tree's, the floating flowers, the ambient noise's, the beautiful animals... this... this forest-as my data base calls it-was truly the most magical thing i have ever seen.
I heard a noise, a noise that none of the animals can make... then, I saw a blue orb shooting past my head, then a blue, oval like platform... I recognized it immediately, so did Atlas. Then, Chell came out of the portal, so did some other magnificently colored animals. One was colored like the propulsion gel at home. another, was the color of the walls at home. then, one color me and Atlas did not recognize at all. THEN, another animal that was colored like the walls at home, except this one was bigger. Another animal, was the color of one of Atlas's portal's... I think it was purple.then, another one colored like one of moms' core's.
They all just stood there, there jaw bones dropped. Then, we saw that one animal, the animal that chased us both. We tried to run, but then we got caught in some type of magical aura. We both could not move one single bit.

[third person]
Atlas and P-body were caught in Celestias' telekinetic force. Celestia was dragging them towards the group. the two robots were terrified, for they did not know what was going on, nor did they know what was going to happen. Then, celestia put the two down, in the middle of the group. Chell was staring at them, so was the other ponies. Chell was the first to break the cursed silence. "Why... why are you two here? And who is this 'mom' you two were talking about?"
