Chapter 1 - Travel
I have spent my life perfecting it. The spell my own mother had used to warn of impending doom. I had finally perfected the spell that Starswirl created so long ago. A spell to turn back the clock for the caster, the spell of ages, the time travel spell. It was a hard spell to cast, but if I could pull it off, I would be able to prevent this whole disaster.
Today is the day I decided to cast it. I planted my hooves on the ground as I bathed my horn in a blue glow and performed the spell. As soon as I started casting it, there would be no going back, for fear I may lose my only chance to fix this world for the better. An orb of light started forming at my feet, steadily, slowly cloaking me as I cast the spell. The orb completely engulfed me and... absolute silence. I could not hear my hoofsteps as I walked in this strange place the orb had delivered me to. It seemed to stretch forever, and very like a tunnel, no light at the end of it. Then, I remembered my mother's caring nature. At that exact moment, a brilliant flash f light revealed a door. Stepping through it, I did not know what to expect.
I appeared in a basement of sorts, made of the hollowed roots of a tree. It was immensly dark, so I tried to make a light out of my horn. Trying as hard I might, I could not. "Guess I'm not using magic for a while," I muttered. Walking, mostly stumbling, up the stairs, I walked into a library. I felt a force pinning me against a wall. A purple pony with a six-point star walked down the stairs. While she was decending the stairs, she started to say something.
"Spike, who is this?"
